List of companies Implemented SAP
Hi
I am looking for the list of companies implemented SAP or ERP in the UK or Europe, or USA. Can anybody help please?
I need this list for my project. I am using questionnaire and interview to validate my research. But I found it hard to find the list of companies . And it is harder to arrange for interview.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
quiochHi
Just some words of advice. I have helped many students and staff with research in regards to enterprise systems and SAP. You need to be careful using a survey.
You need to ask yourself the following questions:
1. How do I get a list of companies?
2. Do I care what the companies have implemented or how long have they been using SAP solutions.
3. Does it matter what culture they operate in?
4. Do they use a global template?
5. Does size matter?
6. Does industry matter?
7. Who is best to answer the questions?
8. How can you ensure that they get the survey?
9. Do they have to speak to others to get the answers?
All these factors have an impact on the success of the survey. I usually suggest to researchers is to not use a survey or use the survey as guide for asking questions in an interview/case study. If you can attend an industry event and ask the questions of the attendees at the event then you usually get more responses and richer responses. At the sam time you may develop a relationship with some companies which you can conduct future resaerch with.
Good luck

How to Find Companies Using SAP CRM in Australia ??
Hello mate,
Could you please tell me how to find out the companies list which are currently using SAP CRM in their organization and located in australia
Thanks
DavidThis type of information is normally provided by SAP to their prospects and/or customers and sometimes partners etc. If you are a SAP prospect and need this information, talk to your account executive.
I'm located in the United States, so I personally couldnt' give you any public examples of companies running CRM in Australia. I think however there is this general reference source for customer examples.
This page will do what you want:
http://www.sap.com/index.epx#http://www.sap.com/customer-testimonials/business-process/customer-relationship-management.epx
It came back with 3 specific customer success stories for Australia and CRM. I know there are more, but that should give you a start.
Take care,

List of Tcodes in SAP(Technical)
Hi Gurus,

Scheduling agreements
OVA9 Create entries for each sold-to customer for which you will receive EDI schedule releases. At implementation, the only field that needs to be maintained is "Check PO number," which causes SAP to make sure that the PO number sent on the release matches the PO number on the schedule agreement. This transaction updates table T663A. SAP will not post an EDI schedule release, if this record is missing.
OVAI Create entries for each Vendor / Partner description combination. (Vendors must match sold-to Acct. at Cust., and Partner descriptions must match ship-to Partner descriptions.) This transaction updates table T661W. SAP uses this table to determine the schedule agreement sold-to partner.
OVAJ If you would like SAP to post schedule requirements using discrete dates only, instead of weekly and/or monthly buckets, you can indicate the days of the week that you deliver to this customer. SAP will divide the customer's quantity for a week or month evenly into the days of the week specified by the distribution function code. This code must be sent in the DELINS IDoc in field E1EDP16-ETVTF.

WE09 / WE02 IDoc lists according to content. View IDocs via specific IDoc number or business application detail contained within the contents of a segment.

2.In Request DT how the message structure wil be to get the list of materials from sap r/3 system as Response(Ex: Fields in the source structure).
3.Or the second thing is how to get the list of materials start with some alphabate.
Please reply me for each and every questions mentioned above. Please clarify me.
Helpful answers wil be rewarded.

khannaHi Khanna,
<i> 1. Should we create DT MT MI and all (OR) not</i>
Yes U need to create for HTTP site...for RFC U need to import..
<i>2.In Request DT how the message structure wil be to get the list of materials from sap r/3 system as Response(Ex: Fields in the source structure).</i>
You create your own structres for Request and respoce.. and Map it with RFC..
<i>3.Or the second thing is how to get the list of materials start with some alphabate.</i>
I think it will come with acending order....
for more help go through this link

A workaround was suggested by a member of the community to turn off both hardware and Flash acceleration. It worked fine (no crashes since), but runs very slowly. In particular, takes five seconds to exit and is often still listed as a running process. Very slow in connecting to Web pages, and very slow loading them because of the graphics. Very slow in loading video. I expected slower responses, but this is REALLY slow. I'm running 64-bit Windows 7 and an Nvidia GE Force 7800 graphics card with all the drivers updated and the plugins for Firefox mostly set on "ask to activate". Should I expect this much reduction in performance when the workaround I mentioned was put into place? If so, it's half a loaf at best. The only thing questionable is that I have two Youtube downloaders that I am trying, but I made the assumption that these were only applied when you downloaded something from Youtube.
In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes": do not clear the Cookies
If you clear cookies then Firefox will also try to remove cookies created by plugins and that requires to start plugin-container processes that can slow down closing Firefox.
Instead let the cookies expire when Firefox is closed to make them session cookies.
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Keep until: "I close Firefox" -

Separation of two companies in SAP ISU
Can anyone guide me in separating two companies in SAP ISU, archiving and exporting all the transactional, master and configuration data related to that company code to another non SAP system.
Pankaj,
There is no straight forward transaction to download the Configuration data and export it to a file.
However, you can use the BC set functionality to extract the IMG node with its contents.
Check the following SAP help portal link for more info on BC sets
Business Configuration Sets (BC-CUS) - SAP Library
The archive data that you are talking about; Is it master data or transaction data?
Also, what this data is related to-Financial Documents, Billing related info?
There is one standard transaction SARA through which based on the migration object you can archive the data and export it into a file in a particular location..
Hope it helps..
Thanks,

How to get the list of long running queries
hi,
my requirement is to get the list of long running queries in bi and also what are the steps to reduce running time of quires.
thanks.Hi Venkat,
The statistics information will give you time the query takes while opening it
For Eg,with BEx Analyzer, you have an option in Global Settings->Display Statistics.
If you open a query from backend in Analyzer, and then click "Display Statistics",it will show the amount of time it takes to load it.
Other than this there might be some tcodes available to read this value.

List of activities in SAP requiring printer maintenance
Dear All,
Can anybody help me to gather a list of standard activities/tasks that are performed in SAP and require printer maintenance.
What actually is required is a guide for IT staff to know that in this list of places in system the printer should be populated.
The point is that in one of the departments they removed old printers and installed new ones, but in RFFOEDI1, for example, they did not change old printer to new, which caused the print jobs to fail.
Now, the idea is to have a list of 'places' in SAP the IT has to check, before deleting printer from system.
Thank you for support and any advices or alternative ideas,Ok, so in case anybody face the same error:
The starting point could be RSPO0040 report. It shows list of tables where printer is maintained.
Those, being brave can go further to developing their own TCode based on above report.
Hope that some day this post would save somebody's time. -

General Notes
You can execute the following commands in the transaction code (tcode) field with Enter. You will find some useful transaction codes below to work in tandem with the following commands:
To call a transaction - In the same session (window) Enter: /nxxxx (xxxx = transaction code). - In an additional session, Enter: /oxxxx (xxxx = transaction code).
If you enter this function before any of the tcodes below, you are able to break out of your current screen/business and begin a completely new session. Otherwise, the current business process has to be terminated, and return to the initial user screen (the main menu) has to be initiated before entering tcode spro). /o tcode saves you the effort of having to do this.
To end the current transaction Enter: /n. Caution: Unsaved changes are lost without warning
To delete the current session. Enter: /i.
To generate a session list Enter: /o.
To log off from the system Enter: /nend.
