in SDN site,
select sdn community tab which is there on top of the extreme left,
then at the left side of the bottom,
u can find contributors button,
under that u just select top companies button then it can show companies list..
this is one of the best way to find...

I am looking for the list of companies implemented SAP or ERP in the UK or Europe, or USA. Can anybody help please?
I need this list for my project. I am using questionnaire and interview to validate my research. But I found it hard to find the list of companies . And it is harder to arrange for interview.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just some words of advice. I have helped many students and staff with research in regards to enterprise systems and SAP. You need to be careful using a survey.
You need to ask yourself the following questions:
1. How do I get a list of companies?
2. Do I care what the companies have implemented or how long have they been using SAP solutions.
3. Does it matter what culture they operate in?
4. Do they use a global template?
5. Does size matter?
6. Does industry matter?
7. Who is best to answer the questions?
8. How can you ensure that they get the survey?
9. Do they have to speak to others to get the answers?
All these factors have an impact on the success of the survey. I usually suggest to researchers is to not use a survey or use the survey as guide for asking questions in an interview/case study. If you can attend an industry event and ask the questions of the attendees at the event then you usually get more responses and richer responses. At the sam time you may develop a relationship with some companies which you can conduct future resaerch with.

I did similar task long time ago in script and logic was like this:
1. make array with owned base entities
2. make entity loop and check if entity is more than once in the first array then add it to UniqueEntitiesList (before adding check for existence should be done)
3. then you can use this UniqueEntitiesList anywhere else in your calculations
maybe there is a way to solve this in a more simple operations

Dude company data is its real asset no body will allow you to make their valueable asset as testing Lab material. just get training from good professional take exam and do a lot of practices. This will make you a little champ in 2-3 years. Expert not before 7 years. So you should be consistent and patient in learning and earning.

Using a Trading Partner Directory Implementation for Companies

Hello experts,
I am looking into configuring delegate useradmin using companies.
The UME approach requires a engine reboot and somhow doesnt fit our requirements.
The second approach - "Trading partner directory implementation" seems feasible.
To implement this do I need to have any additional Bussiness package or additional installation for my portal? The document does state that this approach is only available with SAP supplier relationship management. What does this mean??

Our project includes ECC, CRM 5.1, SRM6.0 and Portal7.0. We have this CRM scenario where a customer (manager) logs on and approves one of his employees, already self-registered, as a customer Portal user. UME seems to support that scenario, but it can only retrieve company information from a SRM backend system using a custom implementation of the Trading Partner Directory interface. In our case it is a CRM scenario and CRM Business Partners are not replicated on SRM.
What is that SRM Trading Partner Directory interface and how much effort is involved in this custom implementation?
Does the portal need to restart for new Companies to be added?
Is this only for EBP scenario?
Is there a better way to update the list of companies in UME from a list of CRM Business Partner?

Getting list of items from one table indirectly associated with another

I have a database containing 3 tables. One is a list of employees, one is a list of companies that are clients and another is the projects each employee is working on. The projects table is the only connection between the employee and the company. An employee is working on a project for a specific company. I need to find a list of companies someone is working for given the employee's ID. How would I do this? I've done direct queries before, but never anything that involves going through another table. I have an explanation of my tables below.
Employee ------------- Project ----------- Company
Name ------------------ Name --------------- Name
ID -------------------> EmployeeID
------------------------ CompanyID ----------> ID

I did something like this..It works for MS Access 2000 but not SQL Server 2000. (http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=48&thread=270102)
What I have is one main table, joined to 3 other tables, and each one of them have one category in common, and they are in a many-to-one relationship with the main table.
The Function category in the main table is the same as the Function_Name category in the others
For ex)

So when you get the ID can't you Select the data from the products table that matches it, and then take the Name field for that and search for it in the Company table? I think you can do embedded search statements. another way would be
