List of nokia model

can u list down the nokia model which could be used as a modem...
i want to used it as modem with my laptop...
thanks!!!

Very few cannot. I think it's basically the entry-level 1xxx series phones that have no connectivity with a PC. Just about all the others have bluetooth and/or USB connectivity.
This page will allow you to check the capabilites of almost any Nokia phone quickly.

  • Where is the list of mac models that 10.6 is compatible with?

    Hi,
About 6 months ago I found a list on Apple's support site that listed which iMac models were compatible with 10.6. Could someone please point me to it?
At the time I was dismayed to find that my early 2008 24" 2.8 Ghz Intel core 2 Duo iMac was a gaping ommission in a list of iMacs both older and newer than it. Also I could have sworn I read a few accounts of people NOT being able to upgrade that particular model. Now, I can no longer find the posts or links... Maybe I was on crack or I have misremembered some search detail. Anyway, any help greatly appreciated!!
    Thanks!

I believe it is this early 2008 version
    http://support.apple.com/kb/SP485
although the one above lists 6mb of L2 cache, whereas my system profiler says mine is 4Mb of L2 cache.
Strangely the 2007 model (http://support.apple.com/kb/SP16) lists a 24" with 4 gb L2 Cache but the processor speed is 2.4 Ghz. So maybe my computer is some edge-case model?
    system profiler yields:
    Model Name:          iMac
      Model Identifier:          iMac7,1
Processor Name:          Intel Core 2 Duo
      Processor Speed:          2.8 GHz
      Number Of Processors:          1
      Total Number Of Cores:          2
      L2 Cache:          4 MB
      Memory:          4 GB
      Bus Speed:          800 MHz

Does it work with a macbook (aluminium) 2008 late, even if it isn't said in the desription? Windows 7 also did run, but wasn't in the list of working models for windows 7 either...

JK90, I have boot camp on my Mountain Lion late-2008 unibody running 64 bit Windows 8, with a brand new ssd and 8gigs of ram. Although my scenario is officially unsupported, it works great. My 4+ yr old mac is the best PC I've ever owned :-)
There are a number of complications during and after installation, and you need to do a lot of research to make sure you get it right. I worked long and hard to get everything running just right.
Even after Windows was installed I had even more trouble with my drivers, and getting especially getting the trackpad to work properly, so I needed to use a regular mouse until I could get the trackpad on.
Also check out trackpad++, I've been using it for years now, it upgrades the trackpad drivers from apple and makes using Windows much nicer.

Mention in Spec.:Radio output power: 32.5 dBm maximum (varies by country) .
Any list of country+model for output power? Which model of ATC-2TB has Max. Power?

    Hi,
This is Marcus from Application Engineering at National Instruments.  I have reviewed over your math and you are correct in your calculations.  To determine the power output of your PXI-5422 you will have to know the Vpp which you are using and also the load that you will be connecting to the device.  These factors will then determine the power output of your PXI-5422.

  • How to find a list of nokia specific settings soft...

i have  nokia lumia 822 on verizon usa. right after i got the phone i was having problems with the bluetooth. the verizon tech had me do a hard reset and erased everything. when the phone restored i was able to reinstall most apps. but the nokia specific apps would not. i noticed nokia maps, nokia drive had to manualy be installed. what i did not notice was that nokia audio and nokia accessories did not install and it takes a long time to notice they are missing. they are very hard to find in the app market.  several months later i bought the nokia charging stand and found the NFC feature did not work. searching through online forums i was able to find a link to "nokia accessories" "app" that loaded the NFC features.
i would not be surprised if there are other missing software packages in the form of "apps" that i am missing.
is there a list somewhere of these nokia specific "apps" " settings" " features"  ?

  • Lenovo G50-45 why is no USB 3.0 driver listed for this model

I started a clean boot of Windows 7 x64 from USB as I'm not a fan of Windows 8 but since installing I've been unable to get the USB 3.0 port to recognize anything I plug in (was working fine before).
I can't see a USB 3.0 driver listed on the support page for this model:
    https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/lenovo-g-series-laptops/g50-45-notebo...
I've also read similar problems have occured on other manufacturers laptops and this was fixed by installing the chipset drivers etc in the correct order.
Is there a correct order I should adhere to?
    Any help much appreciated

I am having the exact same issue on my 2013 MBPr.
I have two Seagate GoFlex USB 3.0s, one plugged into the regular 3.0 port (450MB/s) on the left and the other plugged into the high-speed (5GB/s) 3.0 port on the right. When doing a simple copy/paste from the one drive to the other, I observe the following speeds:
    Peak Read (USB 3.0): 36.2Mb/s (288Mbit/s)
    Peak Write (USB-HS 3.0): 48.7Mb/s (384Mbit/s)
This is far below the 620MB/s for 3.0 and is more around the 35MB/s USB 2.0 standard.
So, I'm likely to agree with the original compaintant that the 3.0 standards aren't being employed by the MacOSX USB drivers and I'd hope to see a fix soon for these issues lest people start moving off of the Mac platforms to other vendors who adhere to industry guidelines.

  • A wish list for Nokia's next flagship Windows Phon...

Two months left for Nokia World in september. I think everyone is excited for it. Nokia will introduce its newest flagship Windows Phone 8 "Lumia". If Nokia wanted to succed, here's a list of "to-dos" Nokia engineers should care about.
    - A thin, solid design: I don't really care about how thin the phone is... But there are many people that were dissapointed with how thick and heavy the Nokia Lumia 920 was.
    - A "Real" PureView camera with Zenon flash: The Lumia 920's camera is already perfect, but is it actually PureView...? you can't compare it to the 1020 or the 808... Can you?
    - Snapdragon 600 processor: Windows Phone 8 doesn't really require latest - high end - processors... It just runs smoothly on every single Lumia, no matter how much it is or how low end its specs are. But the Lumia 1020 really dissapointed me. There are many 3D games coming to the store eventually.
    - SD Card slot: Yes. Yes. Yes. Please.
    - NO MORE CARRIER EXCLUSIVITY: Seriously Nokia? No body wants to wait for the Lumia 1028 to get it on Verizon Wireless... or the 1025 to get it on T-Mobile. And NOBODY is going to switch to At&t. Nobody. Let's have a look at the Samsung Galaxy S4. It launched on FIVE carriers. The result? More sales. Simply more sales.
    - A killer battery: It's Nokia! It's well known for its amazing battery life (in the past)... Only Motorola delievers a great battery life these days. I want Nokia to get back to its roots and start as the Indestructable with the endless battery life again.

  • Contact phone list in Nokia 6555

I just upgraded my 2 LG1400 phones that I had for 3 years to 2 Nokia 6555s & am suppossed to receive them tomorrow by FedEX.
In the LG1400, you had an option of keeping your Contact phone list either on the Sim card or in the phone itself.
I preferred keeping them only in the phone because it allowed you to list several phone numbers for each contact.
However, since it was not saved on the Sim card, all of your contacts were lost if you ever had to remove your Sim card for whatever reason (which returned the phone to its inital state each time).
Saving the list to the Sim card was much safer, but it made you enter a different contact for each phone number of a particular contact. i.e.- if 1 contact had 3 phone numbers, it required 3 separate entries.
QUESTIONs are: Does the Nokia 6555 work the same?
Which method have you found works best for you?

    UPDATE:
This morning (Thursday 5-8-08), I went to the local AT&T Mobility store.
They said they COULD transfer my contact list from my old LG1400 to my new Nokia 6555 using a cable they had that would connect both phones together.
But, before she went to the back to get the cable, she said she would try something even more simple.
She took the SIM card out of my old LG1400 & put it in my new Nokia 6555.
LO & BEHOLD, it accepted it!!!!!!
Then she merely copied my contact list off of the LG1400 SIM card to the phone memory of the Nokia 6555. Then she put back the Nokia 6555 SIM card back into the Nokia 6555 and merely copied the contact list from the phone memory of the Nokia 6555 to the SIM card of the Nokia 6555.
    ALL WENT PERFECTLY!!!!
I now have the contact list from my old LG1400 in two places in the Nokia 6555: In the phone memory AND on the SIM card.
Of course, that now means that every entry in my contact list shows up twice. But, I can easily cure that by deleting the contact list from my phone memory & leaving it only on the SIM card.
Since my contact list on my old LG1400 was only on the SIM card, that is where I think I will leave it for a while.
LATER, I expect to take each contact one at a time & transfer each to the phone memory which would enable me to list the various telephone numbers for each contact. That would decrease the number of items in my contact list since most of my contacts have more than 1 telephone number.

  • L40 - why is this not listed as a model

I am trying to see if there are an updates for BIOS for my laptop as the battery is not charging. The model number si not listed. Can anyone advise? It is an L40.

What is the rest of the model number?  What is the Part Number?  Are you looking in the Support Site for your specific geographic region?  This is the USA support site and only USA models are listed here.  If you are from Europe, Australia, Canada, etc. you need to go to their support site to download files for that model.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

    Hi Anappally,
    Thanks for posting and welcome!
As the 5233 does not support Wi-Fi a mobile data connection will be needed for internet access. Usually you can request your carrier to send you these in a SMS, you will find this information on the carrier support website. If you can't request settings per SMS you will find the needed settings on the carrier website and you can create an accesspoint manually in MENU>Settings>Connectivity>Destinations>Internet and Options>New access point.
Press the 'Accept As Solution' icon if I have solved your problem, click on the Star Icon below if my advice has helped you!

  • Recently my macbook charger died and I purchased from a third party seller a new charger that has the same amperage and voltage listed, but different model number. my question is should I be worried, or is it all right?

So recently my model number A1184 charger for my mac book pro died and I purchased a new charger online. They sent me a different charger, a model number S165365, that has the same amperage and voltage listed. my concern is whether it is okay to swap one out for the latter?

Is this your charger you got?

  • Which Nokia models support using mouse?

Can Lumia models use a mouse with the help of an USB-OTG cable?
    Can Asha models do it?
Which Symbian models can use a mouse? Only the Belle version or also older symbian phones?

    Okay, but why not Lumia?
In my head a Windows phone should be the most “PC/Windows-like” phone of them all and yet it doesn’t support standard USB equipment you mean?
I’ve always loved Nokia phones but can’t help to feel the Lumia series keeps giving me bad feelings and are missing all those small nice details I like. They can’t allow access to SMS via Nokia suite and it can’t use a standard mouse.

  • Nokia Model

This is to inform you that I purchased a Nokia mobile 6080 from the dealer "Big C" at Hyderabad on the 4th of November 2007.
From the day one we found that the mobile was a defective piece as the number used to get dialed automatically while on conversation itself. On contacting the Nokia Care Centre they seemed to first of all not look into the matter as they responded very reluctantly. Only after speaking to the customer care at Chennai they took the mobile for the so called replacement and I was informed that the handset would be coming back to me only in about 20-25 days.
What I would like to tell you is that I have been a very loyal customer to Nokia from the past 7 years as I owned more than 10 models in that span. It is very disheartening to receive a poor response from Nokia who claim to be the World's No.1 Company.
I was also informed that the particular model (6080) has so far received many complaints. If this is the case I just want to know why Nokia is allowing its dealers to promote this model. After the battery issue I think you got to be a lot more careful with the models that are being promoted as this is a case of severe contemplation as it costs the brand image of Nokia.
Without a further delay and a stretching of 20-25 days I intend to get an immediate solution with either a replacement with a new model or with a new handset at the earliest.Message Edited by kenken on 15-Nov-2007 05:36 PM
