List of Provisioned Resources for a user

hi
is there a way of Getting list of all the resources that have been provisioned to a particular user through API provided with OIM.
i can to do it through a SQL query but wanted to know if its possible through the OIM API , basically i will pass in the userkey and it should give me list of all the resources that have been provisioned to the user and are enabled.
thanks

tcUserOperationsIntf.getObjects seems to do exactly just that .

  • Define resource for Anonymous user in OES

    Hi all,,
    I am using wls-ssm.
By default, OES protect all resources from our application.
how to define some resources for anonymous user?
    With Regards,
    WP

You can either define an OES policy to GRANT allusers group which includes anonymous or you can look at deploying this custom authenticator which will exclude WLS resources that typically rely on anonymous user:

  • Resource for intermediate users?

I am, perhaps, what you would call an Intermediate user of Illustrator.
I use certain features a lot, but other features I am a little bit shaky about – but would love to know more.
I appreciate this is tricky, but can anyone recommend a resource for tutorials that might be suitable for someone like me?
For instance something that could give me guidance/inspiration on use of the Shape Builder tool / Pathfinder / Gradient mesh etc.

Have you already checked the videos and tutorials included in the manual?

  • SCSM - Service Request Area list - modifications not showing for all users

    Hi All
As you cant edit the Service Request Area list, i've settled on changing the default display names to better reflect the categories we want for our SR's. The changes i've made are visible in SCSM on my computer (where i made the changes from), however if
i fire up another instance on a different computer - i can only see the defaults. Anyone seen that before? Typically when i make any sort of change to a list item it is visible for all users.
I'm aware that there is a custom MP out there to allow you to have your own SR Area List, however i was not able to get it to work in our environment (link: http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/Custom-Service-Request-e4d40738/view/Discussions#content)
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Have you made sure that the selected language in both consoles (the one you are editing from and the one you are testing in) are the same?
When editing lists you will only be asked to save changes (be that changing existing values or adding new ones) if they are stored in a sealed MP - which they should be according to best practice.
If you are not asked which MP to save to then you have already "commited yourself" to a specific MP. You could delete this MP (if there is nothing but the list values in it) or delete them one by one using the console. Then when back to square one the console
will once more ask you which MP to save changes to.

  • KM Resource for Super User to add attributes

    System: BI Portal, 7.0
I want to create a resource for my super users to add description data to a report, but I don't want the other users to be able to see that control on their screens. In other words I don't want them to attempt to add description data and get a "permission error", they should not see the control.
Currently all of my controls on the iview's resources are read only. In the KM content directory the "super users" can add reports to the specific directories that they have permission for.
    How is that done?
Do I have to create another iview with specific editing resources on it for the super users?
    Thanks,
    Mike

I'll create a new role and resources for users to make adjustments.

  • Resources for Power User Training Material

    Hi,
I am developing training materials for power user group. Can someone points me to the resources available on the Internet on this?
    Thanks!

    Hi Fulham,
I did something similar to this a couple of years ago.  I found some great material in the SAP Marketplace.  Afraid I do not have the links anymore, but there were 2 massive pdf files, one named "BW_Functions in Detail", the other "Business Explorer".  Maybe 1/3 of the material was suitable for Power Users (who are mostly interested in getting data out of BW, as opposed to getting data into BW).
Would be happy to chat futher if you like.  You can write to me at [email protected]  I can offer you insights into what we thought Power Users would do compared to what they actually ended up doing.  (Your experience might differ, of course.)

  • Building an online resource for to users to create there own accounts

    Hey,
I am building a wiki for my school. I would love to have a webpage students could use to create their own accounts. I am happy to switch which groups they belong to, but I would like the main account creation to be remote. I am wondering how difficult this is, and what technologies are needed to do it. The ultimate goal would be able to create this database in such a way where we can share the same database information (same user names and contact info) with FileMaker, though set one for us is just online entry into the open directory.
    Thanks

It's not an easy question to answer. So many other variables.
Mac or PC, high speed cable versus lower connection speeds. Network traffic and the speed of your server also play a big part in your visitors experience.
Add to those your desire to play back a file type that requires the viewer to have a very fast computer. I'd guess that less than a third of the computers in use can properly play most HD files (even the small sized ones).
Your Mac is a monster! What you view on it isn't close to what I would see on my Mac mini.
I would suggest you first figure out a display size of your file. Think small.
I (personally) would avoid H.264 unless you know your target audience would only be using "high end" equipment. Hard to pick your audience for a Web based file.
There are html "tricks" that can change the display size of your source movie. If you used a 480X360 (4:3 aspect) source you could "bump up" the display to 800X600 without too much loss in visual quality. Those "tags" are scale="tofit" and the to fit size is your height and width used in the html code (not the source file). Saves bandwidth and gives a better user experience.
Since your file will be "downloaded" (not streamed) you could instruct your visitors to do some other work while your file downloads. Neck stretches, clean their monitor or pour another cup of coffee.
If your goal is HD your visitors must know that these files are huge and that they take a very modern computer with plenty of horsepower.
Your only other option is to reduce the file to more "standard" definition.

  • How can i give more resource for oracle user

    hello
    i have a database user
i want to give him more power resource from
    others

You want to allocated more CPU and memory to users of the database? Or to the database processes in general?
Perhaps you should rewind a bit here and explain what (why) you think you need to add resources to something ... then we can try to solve your problem, instead of trying to fix your solution.

  • HP F4180 is listed as a scanner for one user's account, but not another

One of the Snow Leopard (10.6.8) users on my in-laws' Intel iMac has the ability to scan from their HP F4180 printer/scanner, but the other user can only print. The device doesn't show up under Preview, Image Capture or the Printer settings panel.
The iMac has been checked for the latest software update. I'm not sure why one user can scan from this device, but not the other.

  • Resources for end user testing...What works...

I am involved in a project that will likely be a retail item. The client, art director and I are "so close" to the project that we do not feel adequate to give is full test.
Thinking of hiring some folks (male and female-20-50 age range) and have them use the program and verify that 1-it works and 2-the menu flows and interactions make sense.
However are there organizations out there that anyone has had some experiences that could be shared?
    Thanks

That is what we are planning to do. In looking at this further it was Jakob Nielsen (sp?)who spoke of these labs. Probably a good thing if you are the likes of Boeing or Mellon trying to train the masses.
Our grid will be male/female. Computer savy in the 20-50 range. A similar group that would claim to use DVD's but not computers.
    Thanks for your thoughts

  • OIM 9.1.0.2 provisioning privileges for user?

    Hi there,
I can provision users to my DB. Great.
However, if the user then logs on to the DB, they are rejected because they do not have connect privileges.
How can I set up my provisioning so that the user is not only created in the DB, but also granted basic privileges that allow them access DB features?
    All the best, 2Hugh

I am using the Standard Connector.
The question is how do I use it?
The tasks described below were performed in the Design Console as xelsysadm.
I have opened the process Database Access Oracle User and ticked the auto-prepopulate and Autosave form.
I've set up a pre-populate rule that calls this process and refers to the resource object called Database Access Oracle User RO. It only fires if the user created is in group Oracle.
I've opened Form Designer and created a new version of UD_DB_ORA_U (Database Access Provisioning form for Oracle User). Within the pre-populate tab of this form, I've added pre-populate entries for username, password and IT resource.
In the child tables tab under the UD_DB_ORA_U form, the roles and privileges tables are present.
However, I can not see how I can configure these so that they get pre-populated with the other user pre-populate entries (IT resource, username and password).
Any help with my impasse much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    2Hugh

  • How to de-provisions user's resource when the user is disable ?

When a user is disable in OIM, I would like OIM to de-provisions all the user's resources.
Is it possible to do it and how to do it ?

    Hi Deborah,
I have tried the following configuration, but i am unable to de-provision the resource for the user. The Delete User task is not getting called. Here are the steps that i have followed.
    1) Created a Disable User task with conditional checked and Task Effect as Disable.
    2) Added a adapter to it, and in the response tab added a new response COMPLETE (adapter will be returning COMPLETE) and given the status for the response as Cancelled.
    3) In the Undo/Recovery tab, added the Delete User task.
    4) In the Task to Object status mapping, given Revoked for Object status for the Cancelled status.
As per the OIM document the Undo tasks are triggered when the current process task status is Cancelled, but still i found that the undo task is not getting triggered. I have made both Disable and Delete User task as conditional. Also i have added the Delete User task under Undo/Recover tab of Create User task. Can you tell me why the Delete User task is not getting called. Here the user is also not getting deleted from OIM.
Also all the tasks in the resource object are showing the status as Cancelled.
I have created a simple Mobile Phone resource object and done all these steps. Can you tell what went wrong. If i directly deleted the user from Admin console the Delete User task is getting called and user is also getting deleted.
