  • Is it possible to save/export and load search queries?

Currently, when I open the Find/Replace window (Apple+F), I see a long list over every query I have saved in the dropdown menu. This is not ideal for me because of the 100 queries, I might only use 1–10 for Project A, 11–20 for Project B, and so on. Is it possible to export and save a group of search queries in one file, a second group in a second file, and so on? I would like to be able to load only the search queries that are relevant to a specific project and have in mind something akin to the "save" and "load" options in the swatches panel and styles panels.
I hope my question is clear, but please let me know if you would like additional information.

Your saved queries are stored as individual xml files in the Find-Change Queries folder in the prefs written in your user profile/library. Queries in subfolders don't seem to show up in the dialog list. It seems reasonable that you might be able to save sets in subfolders, then copy them into the main folder when you want them, but doing it manually would be a major pain. If multi-find/change doesn't do it for you already, it might be worth asking in the scripting forum if anyone could help with a script that would.

  • "how do I find the list of search engines in my firefox brouser?"

I am trying to get rid of this irksome "sweetIM". And suggestions say remove it from my list of search engines. Where is this list? And, I am only an intermediate skill comp user.

I"m guessing that what happened is that you or someone inadvertently allowed the default search method to be changed in the keyword url search.
Search for any add ons or unwanted plugins and remove them. Then if that doesn't have the effect that you want,
go to your url window and type in
    about:config.
Its going to tell you that you are voiding your free and not often used warranty.. Just click the "i'll be careful I promise button.
you will see a full list of things in alphabetical order. Scroll past them and find Keyword Url.
Right click on that and select modify.. type in google..Modify the search string to read google and then close your firefox and reopen it. Your default google search should work when you type in the keyword terms you're looking for.

  • How do I remove this certain instance of Google search from my list of search bars?

Recently, I decided to try a different search engine in place of Google, which I removed from my list of search engines in the search bar via Manage Search Engines. Dissatisfied with this search engine, I decided to switch back, using an add-on called Add to Search Bar. However, this disables the autocomplete feature for that search engine. I was able to get the autocomplete feature back by restoring the default search engines in the Manage Search Engines menu. However, now I can't remove the instance of Google's search engine which I installed with the add-on. When I remove it, the OK button becomes unresponsive and I'm forced to cancel.
    Add to Search Bar
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-to-search-bar/
I don't have any trouble deleting other search engines installed by this add-on, other than this Google one.
The .xml file for this search engine doesn't appear in the searchplugins folder in my profile folder.

Try to delete search.json file and a possible search.sqlite file in the Firefox Profile Folder.

  • How can I get rid of a search engine that doesn't show up in my list of search engines?

I installed a toolbar from Inboxdollars and since then every time I search for something it uses as my search engine something associated wit yahoo called serp.freecause.com and then I get the "problem loading page" message because it can't find the server at that address. I've uninstalled the toolbar and even took yahoo off my list of search engines. But nothing gets rid of it. Any suggestions?

I ran a complete scan with Norton Antivirus. Cleaned the Registry, history, temporary files and did a Virus Scan. It actually worked. I did not install anything to get this, but used an unprotected Wireless network and I think that/s how I picked it up.

  • List of all queries in the system

    Hi all
<b>I want to get a list of all QUERIES in my BW system and the details of the DATA TARGETS (cube or ODS) on which they are made.</b>
Can i get it from any TABLE or TRANSACTION? or will i have to go to each query ( grouped by INFOAREA) to do the same. This i felt will be very tedious. Please advise.
    Regards,
    Pradyut.

    Hi Pradyut,
Use this table instead - RSZCOMPIC. Give the selection parameter as cube/ods technical name and the version as active.
This would give the list of technical name of the queries for a Cube/ODS. To get the description of the query use the table RSZCOMPDIR -> give the technical name of the query as input parameter and get the desription. The description is stores in the COMPID field.
    Hope this helps.
    Bye

  • Search Queries

    Hi,
I have a question on search queries in C4C on for example on "Accounts", "Sales Leads" and "Opportunities".  As standard for example for "Account" in the search criteria we are given the following search queries:
    - All Accounts
    - My Accounts
    - My Team's Accounts
As well as these standard ones we can create our own queries and save them.  My question is these saved queries are only available to the user who created them.  I wondered whether there is a way to distribute these custom queries to all users?  Also is there anywhere we can customise those standard queries.  (e.g. My Accounts)?
    Thanks
    Jo

    Hello Josephine,
SAP has provided with the very generic filters that are mostly used by the end users -
    1. My Accounts
    2. My Team's Accounts
    3. All.
While in case if any end user wants to customize it as per his requirements, he can make the use of the Filters and Advance Filters, Sort the entries as per his wish and Save it.
Saying this, Yes you can customize the Standard Queries and Save them with the different self explanatory name for future usage.
Also as per my knowledge on this, custom queries make it flexible for the end user to search as per his/her usage.
The requirement for all end users might not be same. Moreover, publishing such Changes cannot be restricted with respect to team. Maybe that's the reason why I don't see any reason to have such functionality open for publishing to all the users.
Ex. If custom query to search Accounts from China is published, it won't be useful for the end users working for US.
    Hope this helps,
    Regards,
    Chandan

  • Query the list of Unused queries

    Hi,
Requirement is to get the list of Unused queries using Admin Cockpit Info provider - 0TCT_MC01.
I can get the list of queries being used in a certain period of time. the unused list of queries would come by comparing this list with the Actual Total list of queries available.
Is there any other automated way or simpler way to get this list?
    Regards

Try putting the condition on key figure"no. of times used" used as = 0.
This should list only your unused queries.
    Hope this helps.

  • Why is 'Qlixter' Social Search not in the list of search engines?

Why is 'Qlixter' Social Search not in the list of search engines? Its a superb social search engine and would be of great benefit to all Firefox users. Am a little dissapointed that it is not on the selection dropdown. Would it be possible to have this included and if so how do I go about it?
Thank you for your help and support.
    Kind Regards

  • Save Search Queries

    Hi all,
is it possible to save search queries? Is there a standard functionality or has it to be developed?
    Thx and Rgds,

    Hi
As far as I know, there is no default functionality available to save the search queries. May be you can achieve with some sort of development.

  • RV042 randomly ignores SSDP M-SEARCH queries

For some reason, RV042 does not answer all SSDP broadcast search queries. I have tried to analyse this problem from linux using upnp-inspector and by capturing the UDP traffic to/from port 1900 with wireshark (udp.port == 1900). Attached is the capture of ~20 minutes of SSDP in/out traffic.

Please note that it took nearly 13 minutes for the router to answer, although the query was sent twice every 2 minutes.
I don't think it is acceptable for the router to randomly ignore M-SEARCH SSDP queries; i.e. Transmission sends three queries at the startup and then simply gives up, declaring input port closed.
    Uros.

    Ruben,
Have you tried using the ANSI string concatenation operator ||
You may also want to try the SOA Suite or BPEL forums, as there are probably more people who understand what you are asking over there.
