List of Speed Dial in phone 9971

In 8945 phone by pressing the up arrow to navigate the Speed Dial List appears. But in 9971 the phone does not appear with any key. Is it possible to display the Speed Dial list on this phone?

That's not possible in CUCM (creating a list like CME) but if all you need is to have something dialed whenever someone dials *1 just create translation patterns accordingly

  • Speed Dials on phones

This is a silly question but when I set up speed dials on a 7970 in phone configuration in callmanager the speed dials don't show up on the phones, am I missing something? Thanks in advance

    Hi Efrain,
Only if the Phone Button Template for the 7970 is set up as 1-Line and 7-Speed Dials. I'm not on site right now so I can't check but I don't think the default Button Template is set up as such. If not you will need to create a new Phone Button Template with the 1-Line 7-Speed Dial combination.

  • Speed-dials MIA on 7921/UCM6.1

    Hi,
Recently migrated a customer to UCM6.1 from 4.3 and experienced an interesting issue. Speed-dials is no longer showing up on 7921-phones (f/w 1.2.1). The speed-dials and phone-button templates are correctly configured, but they refuse to show up when pressing right on the nav-pad.
7921-phones were running the same f/w when CM was 4.3 and there it worked just fine. As a proof-of-concept, we have attempted to configure additional lines as well as reassigning buttons to BLF SD, which both works fine and shows up as expected on the phone. It seems that it's just regular SD's that won't show up...
Using BLF's instead is not really a possible option, since that would remove the users ability to modify the SD's by themselves.
Anyone with any ideas regarding this issue and how it can be fixed? :-)
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    /M

Is the user account correctly associated with the MAC address of the phone? It's under the "Device Association" link in the user options setup in CallManager if memory serves.

  • Just got U-verse today, how do I set up speed dialing on my phone, I had it with the ATT service, but it does not work with the UVerse

OK - I looked at the manual & see they made it major project. Instead of simply assigning tel numbers to each of the dialing digits, you have to build a directory record first, then you can assign the directory record to a dialing digit.
Looks like the simple part is using it  - just press and hold the digit to dial the whole number.
So, it will take 40 minutes or so to break down the steps in understandable prose. It is too late to start now & i have a vet appointment in the am. All day is kind of full. But, I will try to do it tomorrow (thurs the 18th)

Seemed like there should be a speed dial, so I did  a search & found the cure is worse than the disease -
    Dial from your phone
Make calls directly from your existing touch-tone home phone:
Local calls: Dial the 7- or 10-digit phone number.
Long distance calls: Dial 1 + area code + 7-digit phone number.
International calls: Dial 011 + country code + 7-digit phone number.
Dial online from your myAT&T account
Call from your online Address Book or Call History, which shows a list of up to 100 of your most recent call records sorted by date and time:
Log in to myAT&T. Don't have a myAT&T login? Register today!
From the I want to menu, select Manage my plans and services and then Manage my phone features.
Your U-verse portal will open and a Make a Call box will appear on the left side of the page.
Enter a number to dial or select a number from your Call History or Address Book.
Specify whether you'd like to activate/deactivate Caller ID Blocking and Call Waiting for the call.
    Select Place Call.
When your home phone rings, pick it up to place your call.
    Important Note
To find numbers in the Call History, you can also sort numbers by missed, answered, outgoing, name, length of call, or type, or search for a specific call.
    Dial from your U-verse TV
With U-verse TV, you can view a list of up to 100 of your most recent incoming call records by date and time on your TV screen. Use your U-verse TV remote to tune to your Call History and return calls with the press of a button.
Tune to Channel 9900 using your U-verse TV remote.
Select a U-verse Voice phone number on screen.
Press OK to view a log of answered and missed calls. You can sort by name, date, and phone number.
    Scroll using the arrows.
Select a number and press OK to return a call.
    Select Call and press OK.
When your home phone rings, pick it up to place your call.
You can have a call list accesed from a browser.
You can call back a historical call from the browser or TV.

  • Where is the speed dial list?

I want to change the speed dials on my Pearl 8120 but I'm having trouble finding the list. Here is what the manual says:
"Change the contact assigned to a speed dial key
    1. In the phone, press the Menu key.
    2. Click View Speed Dial List.
    3. Click a contact or phone number.
    4. Perform one of the following actions:
    • To change the contact that is assigned to a speed dial key, click Edit. Click a new contact.
    • To assign the contact to a different speed dial key, click Move. Roll the trackball to move the contact to the new speed dial key.
    Click the trackball.
    • To delete the contact from the speed dial list, click Delete."
The problem is, when I press "Menu", there's nothing even remotely like "View Speed Dial List." Anybody know where this is hidden?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Press the GREEN dial key, then the MENU key which is the key just left of the trackball.

  • Need apps: BEST speed dialer favorite, BEST video viewer, BEST list maker..

Need apps: BEST speed dialer favorite (I have to turn on/off and reset hourly to get email so I can't keep favorites in my phone area), BEST video viewer (short form or longer form) AND BEST list maker that allows sync with online component (so I can keep a list on iPhone and/or online when not on iPhone).
    Thanks!

Ah yeah I know that. I am asking users on this board what they consider the "BEST" in a specific category. The app store is not very user friendly (too many clicks), plus the categories are vague and contain a mish-mosh of stuffs. I have downloaded several apps (free and paid) for other needs—but really would like suggestions on those I have yet to download.
BTW your response was rather lame and not very helpful.

  • Speed dial migration of each phone from cisco callmanager 4.1 to cisco callmanager 7.1

Can anyone enlighten me how to backup all the speed dial list of each phone from 4.1 callmanager to 7.1 callmanager ?

    Hi Alan,
The only other way that I can think of would be to use a BAT Export from 4.x
and then BAT Import into 7.x. The header fields won't match exactly between
the old/new versions of BAT, so some re-jigging will be required

  • View Speed dial List

Is it possible to view my speed dial list as a icon on my home screen.  I then could then use it as quick dial of common numbers.  I cannot always remember the speed dial numbers to dial directly from the dial pad.  Had this on my old phone and it was really helpful.
    Regards,
    Paul

BlackBerry: View speed dial list (Pearl Flip)
    ·         Select green phone button (top left on key pad, green icon)
    ·         Then BlackBerry button (menu button with BlackBerry icon, directly under green phone button on the key pad)
    ·         In new pop up window: Scroll to “view speed dial list” Select by pressing your trackball (as with any menu selection)
    ·         Done...you will see your speed dial list

  • Quick way to assign speed dials on 7925G phones?

    Hi
We have 22 7925G phones and we need to assign the Zero through Nine keys on the keypad to be speed dials.
The phone will only allow me to add a speed dial for these keys which is part of the phones personal address book which is annoying considering we have a corporate address book.
Its not a good use of anybodies time to program in each entry into the Personal Address book on 22 phones and then setup the speed dials.
Surely there is a quicker way of doing this?
    Thanks

    Hi
Once the phone is on the network, browse to it's IP address.
Click Configurations/Phone Book. Default username and password are admin/Cisco
    Configure the phone book.
Then on the left you can use the export/import functin to export it from this phone and load it into the other phones.

  • Capture incoming phone # to contacts? Voice commands? Speed dial?

How do I capture an incoming phone call to my contacts? Is there any way to dial by voice commands? On my old phone I could press and hold a number to speed dial, is Favorites the only way to do this on the iPhone? Any help would be appreciated

once you have a call in your call log (recents) press the blue arrow to the right of the number and you will see two buttons 1. create new contact 2. add to existing contact
    no voice dialing
favorites is the only way to speedial, i think its faster than the traditional method just double click the home button and you are taken directly to favorites then just one touch and 'viola' phone call
    good luck
