List of subvis that have front panel setup as pop-ups so i can beautify them
Hello,
I am upgrading an old project which has several subvis that pop-up if clicked on something asking for more information or confirmation during the operation by the user.
I want to make them look better and manintain consistent front panels with company logos and apprerance, how can programatically find and list all the subvis that are going to be open as pop-up so i can beautify them,
i dont care about the other subvis in the background that dont open-up.

One concern with that approach is the possibility of missing a subVI which very rarely pops up. Since the OP appears to be trying to clean up old code, missing something which becomes obvious to the end user only after it was supposedly cleaned up could be embarassing.

I was just thinking about places I worked where everything was organized into user libraries and that included dialog boxes. However, even if that was the case, I hadn't considered that there may be subVIs - like maybe running tests - that pop up as needed also.

I have uninstalled an application but the name of the app is still showing up in this list of apps. I have disabled it but was wondering if there is a way to remove it from this list.I don't believe you can since it is populated automatically by the system. FWIW, I do not have location services enabled - I chose not to since I have no intention of tucking my 27" under my arm and taking it somewhere. And, I deny any request any app wanting to use it and have not experienced any error messages because of it.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to list all users who have access to a particular SharePoint list item via PowerShell.
You can use the following PowerShell command:
$web = Get-SPWeb http://sp/sites/First
$list=$web.Lists["listV2"]
$item=$list.Items | where {$_['ID'] -eq 1}
$item | Select -ExpandProperty RoleAssignments |Select {$_.Member.DisplayName}, {$_.Member.LoginName}, RoleDefinitionBindings
In the above command, you need to change the web URL to your site's URL, change “listV2” to the name of your list, and change the ‘1’ to the ID of the list item.
The result looks like:

I am writing a research paper on ERP and BI. I want to know about the companies in USA that have implemented BW 3.1 or 3.5. I have browsed thru the SAP North American section company website but could get only 3 companies. Can any one of you please give me a list of companies that have already implemented BW or are implementing BW?

I'm trying to move my photos from my iphone to my PC, every time I go to my Computer it comes up with PhotoStream and iPhone , unfortunately this does that have all my photos from iPhone in it. Can anyone help me?

ThanksThanks for that, on the sync via iTunes, when my iphone is connected to iTunes via USB my photos tab says my iphone but I can never see any pics there. If I press Sync it still doesn't show anything.
Correction from my original post, it only comes up with PhotoStream on my computer when I'm connected via USB. -
IOS 8 - using Siri but she can't find contacts that I clearly have in my address book. Why? I can find them manually.
I have this issue also. I ask Siri to call a contact, it repeats and spells the contact exactly as it is in my contacts, then says it cannot find it. This happens for multiple contacts...

I have two iTunes accounts and was wondering if i can merge them together. I've a new macbook pro and haven't plugged my iPhone in it yet in fear of losing my songs from the previous account.
Go to the Music section of your Library (very top-left corner) and see if your songs are there. The "Purchased" playlist may have been deleted or gotten corrupted, but if that happens it's not a big deal because your music should still be in your main Music Library.
If your music is NOT in the Music section of your Library, then go to the iTunes Store homepage and find the Quick Links list on the right side. At the top of that list, click Purchased and you can redownload all of your previous content that you might have lost. -
i connected my iphone 5 to my computer for the first time since i got it and it didnt give me any option and just started to restore it from my iphone 4s. ive now lost all my pictures that were on it. Can you try to use another computer?
If this does not work, visit an Apple Store or an Authorized Apple Service Provider next to your place, and show them the phone, maybe they can restore it before you'll have to get it serviced.
Did you try to put it in recovery mode?

You probably installed the "DownLite" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.vsearch.agent.plist
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "VSearch" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.
Repeat with each of these lines:

You may be wondering why you didn't get a warning from Gatekeeper about installing software from an unknown developer, as you should have. The reason is that the DownLite developer has a codesigning certificate issued by Apple, which causes Gatekeeper to give the installer a pass. Apple could revoke the certificate, but as of this writing, has not done so, even though it's aware of the problem. This failure of oversight is inexcusable and has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return. -
I notice that when you have two or more reminder pop-ups on BB10 (tasks, calendar, etc.), you can't edit 2 or more of these because the second and beyond get lost and will never pop-up again.

To better understand your issue, for example If you have two reminders and select 'View Event Details' on the 1st reminder, does the 2st reminder popup before the Details of the1st reminder displays?

In the document attached the vi on the right is sub to the vi on the left. On the subvi on the right the variable "Field Reading" is continuously updated on the front panel of the subvi as the "for" loop is executed, but only the last value of the variable is updated on the main vi front panel which is what is expected. My question is how can I display the changing value of "Field Reading" on the main vi front panel as the "for" loop in the subvi is running?

1) Create an empty global variable and call it something like User Interface References.vi
2) For each and every control and indicator on your front panel, right-click and select Create/Reference
3) Place these references wherever you like (I use a series of Event cases to perform my initialisation and these all live in one of these event cases). They can be placed anywhere in the main vi.
4) For each of the references, right-click and select Create/Indicator
5) Moving to the front panel, Cut all the indicators and Paste them in the global variable (eg. User Interface References.vi)
6) Moving back to the block diagram, wire the global variable to each of the references and select the same named global variable.
All the hard work is now done (until you add another user interface terminal). You should now have something that look as shown below, [except the reference labels would be to the left (not sure why the snippet put them above)]. In my latest program I have 82 references!
Done. You can now access all your front panel controls and indicators anywhere in your program as shown below.
You can just select Value in most cases, but in this particular case I wanted to fire off an Event to do some things (log the alarm) as well as just update the value. So, this is another bonus with the method.
Hopefully this all makes sense. If not, let me know.
