  • Folder access across all Modules ?

    Hi,
Something that irritates me with LR(2,3,4) is that the FOLDER panel is not available across all modules. hence you have to create a collection or preselect your pictures first in Library . Does this bother anyone else ?

    It bothers me, too.
Why don't you create an idea in the official feature request forum
    http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/ideas/recent
about it and post the link to your creation here?
It really should not be much of a problem to add the folder panel to the top left side underneath a navigator if available, where anybody would look for it. We are nicely conditioned to this LR user interface principle.
You will get my vote immediately!

  • How to see all the list of tables in APEX

    Hi
COuld anyone of you help me find out how to see all the tables present in APEX ?
I can see all the list of tables when i give the command : select * from tab
But apart from finding like this , is there any way to find out all the list of tables ?
    Regards,
    Tasha

    Hi Tasha,
    For Apex 3.2 ;
select * from dba_tables where owner in
    (select workspace from APEX_030200.APEX_WORKSPACES)
tab is a synonym for user_tables

    Mithun

    HI,
SAP HR or SAP Human Resources or SAP HCM or SAP Human Capital Management or SAP HRMS or SAP Human Resources Management System is one of the largest modules in the SAP R/3 system which consists of many sub modules like:

    Time Management
    Payroll
    Benefits
    Compensation Management
    Personnel Cost Planning
    Budget Management
    Personnel Development
    Training & Event Management
    Travel Management
    Environmental Health & Safety.
    and FI has the following
    FI-GL  General Ledger Accounting
    FI-LC  Consolidation
    FI-AP  Accounts Payable
    FI-AR  Accounts Receivable
    FI-BL  Bank Accounting
    FI-AA  Asset Accounting
    FI-SL  Special Purpose Ledger
    FI-FM Funds Management
    FI-CA Contract Accounting
In Release 6.00, SAP for Insurance includes the following components:
    FS-CD Collections and disbursements
    FS-CM Claims management
    FS-CS  Commissions management
    FS-PM  Policy management
    FS-RI  Reinsurance management
FS-PE Payment Engine (Banking Payments Solution still in development)
    Hope this helps,

  • Tasklist.exe does not list all Modules in Windows 7 64-bit

tasklist.exe does not list all Modules in Windows 7 64-bit.
If I want to look at the DLLs loaded by Excel, I would type:
      tasklist /M /fi "imagename eq excel.exe"
When I run this in XP or 32-bit Win7, it works fine, showing all the dlls loaded by excel.  However, in 64-bit windows, it does NOT show all dlls - only a limited subset.  If I use Process Explorer, I can still see all the DLLs loaded by excel,
but that is useless for writing automated scripts.
To check this out, try looking for kernel32.dll - it is always loaded by Excel, but tasklist does not display it in 64-bit Win7:
       tasklist /M kernel32.dll /fi "imagename eq excel.exe"
So, since tasklist is broken, is there a good (command-line) way of looking at what dlls are loaded by a process?

    Hi
It would be helpful to know which iChat version and what type of Account you have ?

  • Query to find out the list of tables used in a package

    hello,
can anyone please help me out with a query; i want to find out the list of tables used by a particular package.
    thanks,
    orton

    orton607 wrote:
thanks for replying guys. But the thing is i am using dynamic sql execute immediate in my package, so i want those tables also and the schema name.
    thanks,
ortonThis is not possible. The best you could do is to have a good guess.
Or how would you parse some dynamic statement as this:
       v_suffix := 'loyees';
       v_sql := 'Select count(*) from (select ''nonsense'' col1 from emp'||v_suffix||') where col1 = ''Y'''';
       execute_immediate(v_sql);
...What is the table name? How do you want to parse that?
Better rewrite all dynamic SQL statements into non dynamic ones. Or do the source control logic for those dynamic parts in an extra module. For example implement your own dependency table and force every developer to add there all dynamic parts.

  • How to make saved IR available for all users

    Hi,
I've created IR and saved it to several tabs based on search conditions.
But they're only visible for developers.
How to make these tabs available for all end-users ?
Does version 4.0 support this option ?
    Thank you!

    Hi
At present this feature is not included, although I believe it may be in 4.0. Many people have provided workarounds for this. None of which I have tried. I cannot find the original thread but here is a solution from a chap called Ruud
    >
One way to share your saved reports with others is to 'Publish' your report settings to a few intermediate tables in your application and have other users 'Import' your settings from there. The reason for using intermediate tables is so that not all your saved reports need to be 'visible' to other users (only those that you've chosen to publish).
Basically you have available the following views and package calls that any APEX user can access:-
    - flows_030100.apex_application_pages (all application pages)
    - flows_030100.apex_application_page_ir_rpt (all saved reports - inclusing defaults and all user saved reports)
    - flows_030100.apex_application_page_ir_cond (the associated conditions/filters for above saved reports)
    - wwv_flow_api.create_worksheet_rpt (package procedure that creates a new saved report)
    - wwv_flow_api.create_worksheet_condition (package procedure that creates a condition/filter for above saved report)
The way I've done it is that I've created 2 tables in my application schema that are straightforward clones of the 2 above views.
    CREATE TABLE user_report_settings AS SELECT * FROM flows_030100.apex_application_page_ir_rpt;
    CREATE TABLE user_report_conditions AS SELECT * FROM flows_030100.apex_application_page_ir_cond;
( NB. I deleted any contents that may have come across to make sure we start with a clean slate. )
These two tables will act as my 'repository'.
To simplify matters I've also created 2 views that look at the same APEX views.
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW v_report_settings AS
    SELECT r.*
    p.page_name
    FROM flows_030100.apex_application_page_ir_rpt r,
    flows_030100.apex_application_pages p
    WHERE UPPER ( r.application_name ) = <Your App Name>
    AND r.application_user 'APXWS_DEFAULT'
    AND r.session_id IS NULL
    AND p.application_id = r.application_id
    AND p.page_id = r.page_id;
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW v_report_conditions AS
    SELECT r.*
    p.page_name
    FROM flows_030100.apex_application_page_ir_cond r,
    flows_030100.apex_application_pages p
    WHERE UPPER ( r.application_name ) = <Your App Name>
    AND r.application_user 'APXWS_DEFAULT'
    AND p.application_id = r.application_id
    AND p.page_id = r.page_id;
    I then built 2 screens:-
    1) Publish Report Settings
    This shows 2 report regions:-
    - Region 1 - Shows a list of all your saved reports from V_REPORT_SETTINGS (filtered to only show yours)
    SELECT apex_item.checkbox ( 1, report_id ) " ",
    page_name,
    report_name
    FROM v_report_settings
    WHERE application_user = :APP_USER
    AND ( page_id = :P27_REPORT OR :P27_REPORT = 0 )
    ORDER BY page_name,
    report_name
Each row has a checkbox to select the required settings to publish.
The region has a button called PUBLISH (with associated process) that when pressed will copy the settings from
    V_REPORT_SETTINGS (and V_REPORT_CONDITIONS) into USER_REPORT_SETTINGS (and USER_REPORT_CONDITIONS).
    - Region 2 - Shows a list of already published reports in table USER_REPORT_SETTINGS (again filtered for your user)
    SELECT apex_item.checkbox ( 10, s.report_id ) " ",
    m.label,
    s.report_name
    FROM user_report_settings s,
    menu m
    WHERE m.page_no = s.page_id
    AND s.application_user = :APP_USER
    AND ( s.page_id = :P27_REPORT OR :P27_REPORT = 0 )
    ORDER BY m.label,
    s.report_name
Each row has a checkbox to select a setting that you would like to delete from the repository.
The region has a button called DELETE (with associated process) that when pressed will remove the selected
    rows from USER_REPORT_SETTINGS (and USER_REPORT_CONDITIONS).
NB: P27_REPORT is a "Select List With Submit" to filter the required report page first.
Table MENU is my application menu table where I store my menu/pages info.
    2) Import Report Settings
This again shows 2 report regions:-
    - Region 1 - Shows a list of all published reports in table USER_REPORT_SETTINGS (filtered to show only other users saved reports)
    SELECT apex_item.checkbox ( 1, s.report_id ) " ",
    m.label,
    s.report_name,
    s.application_user
    FROM user_report_settings s,
    menu m
    WHERE m.page_no = s.page_id
    AND s.application_user :APP_USER
    AND ( s.page_id = :P28_REPORT OR :P28_REPORT = 0 )
    ORDER BY m.label,
    s.report_name,
    s.application_user
Each row has a checkbox to select the setting(s) that you would like to import from the repository.
The region has one button called IMPORT that when pressed will import the selected settings.
It does this by using the 2 above mentioned package procedure to create a new saved report for you
with the information form the repository. Be careful to match the right column with the right procedure
parameter and to 'reverse' any DECODEs that the view has.
    - Region 2 - Shows a list of all your saved reports from V_REPORT_SETTINGS (filtered to only show yours)
    SELECT page_name,
    report_name
    FROM v_report_settings
    WHERE application_user = :APP_USER
    AND ( page_id = :P28_REPORT OR :P28_REPORT = 0 )
    ORDER BY page_name,
    report_name
This is only needed to give you some feedback as to whether the import succeeded.
    A few proviso's:-
    a) I'm sure there's a better way to do all this but this works for me :-)
    b) This does not work for Computations! I have not found an API call to create computations.
They will simply not come across into the repository.
    c) If you import the same settings twice I've made it so that the name is suffixed with (2), (3) etc.
I did not find a way to update existing report settings. You can only create new ones.
    d) Make sure you refer to your saved reports by name, not ID, when matching APEX stored reports and the
reports in your repository as the ID numbers may change if you re-import an application or if you
    auto-generate your screens/reports (as I do).

To me this is a bit too much of a hack and I personally wouldn't implement it - it's just an example to show it can be done.
Also if you look here in the help in APEX Home > Adding Application Components > Creating Reports > Editing Interactive Reports
...and go to the last paragraph, you can embed predicates in the URL.
    Cheers

  • Getting list of tables the user has access to across different schemas.

    Hi,
I have to get the list of tables that an User has access to. I tried the below code. It takes a very long time. Is there any way in which I can specify the user name and get all the tables that he has access to? I know that we can use dbMetadata.getTables api. But this returns the list of tables under the said schema. But I want the list of tables that the user has access including tables in other schema.
In the below code, I am trying to get the tables for which USER_MICHAEL has access to.
    DatabaseMetaData dbMetadata = connection.getMetaData(); String userName = null; dbrs = dbMetadata.getTables(null,userName , "%", new String[] { "TABLE" }); dbrs=dbMetadata.getTablePrivileges("",userName,"%"); while (dbrs.next()) { String tableName = dbrs.getString("TABLE_NAME"); String schema = dbrs.getString("TABLE_SCHEM"); String privilege = dbrs.getString("PRIVILEGE"); String grantee = dbrs.getString("GRANTEE"); if(grantee!=null && grantee.equals("USER_MICHAEL")){       System.out.println("Schema---"+schema+" Table---"+tableName+"  Privilege----"+privilege+"  grantee---- "+grantee); } }

    That would be database dependent.
Some engines have some system tables that together may be used to extract such information, others may not make it available at all outside closed APIs.

  • How get list of tables/functions/other objects used in a mapping?

    Hi,
I would like to know list of objects such as tables, views, functions, procedures and table functions of all mappings in a module.
Could any one please explain me, how can I do this using OMB+ scripting.
    Thank you,
    Regards,
    Gowtham Sen.

OMBRETRIEVE MAPPING 'MAP_NAME' GET TABLE OPERATORS
OMBRETRIEVE MAPPING 'MAP_NAME' GET VIEW OPERATORS
OMBRETRIEVE MAPPING 'MAP_NAME' GET TRANSFORMATION OPERATORS
OMBRETRIEVE MAPPING 'MAP_NAME' GET TABLE_FUNCTION OPERATORS
Alternative variant (and maybe more simple) - use dictionary view DBA_DEPENDENCIES (or all_dependencies):
    select * from dba_dependencies where owner='MAP_OWNER' and type in ('PACKAGE','PACKAGE_BODY') and name='MAP_NAME'

  • Need table available in General Ledger

    Dear All,
Can any one explain me the list of tables availble in General Ledger Module in oracle-applications, including join-conditions....

    Hi Subbu,
It's indeed difficult to identify tables which are important in GL. You must be aware the basic object of GL is track all financial transactions (journals), for this you need an A/C, a calendar and a currency... Any tables associated with these activities are important for GL (Technically :) )... Some tables which hold key info on GL are as below...
GL_SETS_OF_BOOKS                 : This is the main table of GL which capture info about SOB of a business
GL_JE_BATCHES          : This table will provide info about Journal batches
GL_JE_HEADERS          : Provides info about Journal header
GL_JE_LINES          : Provides info about Journal lines
GL_BALANCES          : This will give you the current blance of an a/c
GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS     : This is used to capture all the GL code combination.. accounting segments
GL_DAILY_RATES                       : This table is useful when you use any currency other than your functional currency in trx.. this captures info abount conversion of rates betwqeen 2 currencies
GL_PERIODS : This provides status about a GL Period.. whether it is open or closes etc...
GL_JE_SOURCES & GL_JE_CATEGORIES : these tables used to capture journal sources info  (Payables, inventory, receivable etc..)  and journal category info...
You can use below query to get all tables of GL..
    Select * from all_objects where object_name like 'GL%' and owner='GL' and object_type='TABLE'
    and (object_name not like 'GL%ALLOC%')
    and (object_name not like 'GL%CONS%')
    and (object_name not like 'GL%MC%')
    Hope this will help..
