Is there any table where I can find all the text tables name for corresponding infoobjects?
ex: for object 0MATERIAL /BI0/TMATERIAL
0CUSTOMER /BI0/TCUSTOMER

Hi,
you already answered the question by yourself. It is a naming convention in BW. For all standard objects starting with 0 the text tables are
/bi0/t<name of infoobject without the leading 0>, for your self defined objects it is /bic/t<name of infoobject> and for those in a customer name space it is /<customer name space/t<name of infoobject>.
This applies for time dependant as well as for time independant texts.

Where is this example spreadsheet? Without seeing it I can only guess at what you are asking.
To make a drop-down list (a pop-up menu in Numbers-speak), format the cell as a pop-up then edit and add to the list of items.
If the example spreadsheet is pulling in a dollar value based on what car you chose in the pop-up, it is probably using LOOKUP or one of the other lookup functions, getting the information from another table (a lookup table). If, instead, these dollar values are what you are choosing in the pop-up, then you need to create a pop-up with these values in it.
The Help menu includes a link to a page where you can download the Numbers Users Manual. It also has a link to the Formulas and Functions guide. Both are useful to new users.

How to read the TEXT TABLES (Or) .CSV in HSQLDB using JAVA

I want to use the HSQLDB instead of mdb in our application. I am using the HSQLDB Engine Standalone mode, and given a file name "TEMP" in URL along with the "jdbc:hsqldb:file:". Then a I created a TEXT TABLE, that table was created as a .CSV file in the Disk. But I am unable to read that CSV, I tried that file in the database URL. But its not working. Can anubody give me the suggestions.

Hi Rajeshreddy.k,
To add multiple users to one group, I wouldn't use a .csv file since the only value you need from a list is the users to be added.
To start create a list of users that should be added to the group, import this list in a variable called $users, the group distinguishedName in a variable called $Group and simply call the ActiveDirectory cmdlet Add-GroupMember.
$Users = Get-Content -Path 'C:\ListOfUsernames.txt'
$Group = 'CN=MyGroup,OU=MyOrg,DC=domain,DC=lcl'
Add-ADGroupMember -Identity $Group -Members $Users

Making a text table flow from page to page?

I'm creating a template in InDesign that will be used to create tags, using a simple table and paragraph formatting to create heirarchy on each tag. I need to flow long lists of text from Word or Excel to the table, and since there are only 10 tags on each page, there will inevitably be multiple pages of tags.
Is there a way to create a table that spans multiple pages (preferably expandable) and allows text to flow into the multiple page tables?
The tags must be formatted a certain way, so there isn't any room for auto-styling unless the new pages follow exactly the styles of the existing pages.

You have the data in an Excel file? Are these "tags" like some sort of product label? D they all look the same, except for the actual text?
If the answer to the above questions is "yes," openthe Help file and look up Data Merge.

currently, i dont hv SAP access, so, just am answering generically,
- you can get them with check tables relationship, in either SE11 or SE16
- use WHERE USED LIST of that particular field, then pick the table, which possess the T in the last position of the name
- also check, VALUE TABLEs at domain level in SE11

Problem when creating list box in table control

Hi every body ,
                  I am placing a list box in table control , the list box is coming perfectly but
when I am scrolling or pressing enter the data in that field is clearing.
   if I remove the list box , and i enter the data directly and scrolling or press enter
the data is not clearing.
But only for list box only it is be having like that
what is the problem?

F4 Help with text table in WD abap

Hi,
i am using country related input help with check table T005 in one of table and i want to display the country text along with country id in my table, f4 for country is coming however if i select country from f4 it showing country id in the input field of table.
i want to have country text also in one of my input fields in the table, i have seen f4 help works if we have explicit search help and using parameter assignment we can have id and text defaulted if we use same context for id and text fields, however in this case country table t005 has check table t005 where texts are stored in text table t005t so web dynpro abap is't picking up the texts??
please suggest how can i get the texts as soon as i select country in the f4??

Hi Kranthi,
You merely have to have an internal table storing list of countries, which you only need to do once, e.g. on load of application (method WDDOINIT of COMPONENTCONTROLLER). In your view, you have to declare a method for event onEnter of the input field, but this method doesn't have to have any code. Your code will be in method WDDOBEFOREACTION, where you read get country name from country key. Once you've got country name, transfer value to a context attribute to which you've already mapped as a source for attribute value of the UI element.

Key/Text table - usage in an ABAP program

Hi Abapers!
I need help about usage of key and text tables.
I have created key and text table and now i want to use them in the abap program. My problem is, that i don't know how to properly read data into internal table from these two tables, so i can show these data in the table control. I also want to know how to save data from text boxes into key and text table (text boxes: txtid, txtlang, txttext).
Key Table:
name: ztbl1
fields: mandt, id
key fields: mandt, id
Text table:
name: ztbl2
fields: mandt, lang, id, text
key fields: mandt, lang, id
Tables are connected together as they should be.
And i don't want to use sm30 for editing table data.

u are loosing the concept of Text table...
Text table are generally used for multi lingual F4 (i.e you enter vaious F4 list to be displayed for a perticular field when a user from differenct lang log on)
for eg...
in urr text table u have .. 2 key itemm
item_code     ||      lang     ||     text
10111         ||      E        ||     Eng_Chicken
10111         ||      D        ||     Chickeno (translation from eng to germen)
10111         ||        F      ||     Ghoose..
so when a user with logon lang as 'E' will log on and when he press F4 on item_code he ill see Eng_chicken
but when a user with logon lang as 'D' will log on and when he press F4 on item_code he ill see Chickeno not Eng_chicken..

Populating drop down list in a table cell-urgent

Hi all
I have a problem. I want to populate a dropdown list in a table cell. can anybody tell me the step by step procedure for that.
I am doing it generally. not using R/3
I am creating sub node like u have mentioned. I haven't done it using wizard.
Is there any difference in the way we populate this list?
My root node is expense. Inside that some value attributes are there. For the drop down list i've created a sub node 'extype'.
I am getting error.
it is:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.context.ContextException: Node(EREmpHomeView.expense.extype): cannot bind or add elements because the node has no valid parent
Following is the code i've written.

Dropdown list in infotype table control

Hello,
I am creating a custom HR infotype with dropdown list field. This field holds a key but displays a text from text table. Dropdowns contents are dependant on Start Date of the infotype record and I am using PBO module to fetch this data. Everything works fine except one detail. Infotype has automatically generated overview table control, which holds various data including Start Date of infotype record and the dropdown field in question. And even that would work well if not for the date, in case when I drop the date check dropdowns in all rows get populated. Currently it seems to only use the date on the last row of the table control and subsequently fails to correctly populate dropdowns in all other rows. With no access to SAP code which populates table control, how do I get the date for each individual row?

For this you have to create 2 nodes
1. A node which will be bound to the table. This will be a singleton node.
2. A node for dropdown. This node should be inside the table node and should be a non-singleton one.
Check the singleton properties of both the nodes above.
Whenever you will create an element for table node, an instance of the dropdown node will be automatically created.
To set the value in this dropdown at leadselection, you can use the below logic
1. Assume you know the value of the fruit to be set in the dropdown
2. for(int i = 0; i < wdContext.nodeFruit().size(); i++)
          if( wdContext.currentTableNode().nodeFruit().getFruitElementAt(i).getFruit().equals(fruitName) )
                wdContext.currentTableNode().nodeFruit().setLeadSelection(i);
                break;

is there a way in adf i can do two lists in one table?
Imagine I got transactBB.list and transactBB.list2
both lists are of same class..have same headers l..
can i do both in one table??
