About a year ago I purchased the album "Is This It" by The Strokes. I just recently purchased a new iPod Touch 64GB, and when downloading music to it, I realized that the ablum was not showing up in my library anywhere. It also doesn't apper in my library on iTunes on my desktop PC. However, when I check the iTunes store, it is listed as purchased. It doesn't even appear in the Purchased section of the iTunes store. I've noticed this with other albums as well, and single songs just not appearing anywhere in my libraries. What can I do?

Where exactly are you looking for it ? It won't show in your iTunes library unless you download it.
You should be able to download it into your library by ticking the 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' tick box on the Store tab in iTunes > Preferences - it should then show in the Music part of your library with a cloud icon against it for downloading (downloading the booklet for it this way may not work, you may get a 'corrupt file' message when trying to open it, I was over the first couple of days when trying it).
Or go to the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage and you should be able to download it from there.
A third option is to sign out of your account (Store > Sign Out menu option), find the album in the store and then click on its free 'price' button - you should then be prompted to sign back in and the album should download.

Purchases in App Store Not Going Through

I have a brand new MacBook and when I try to purchase apps from the MacBook App store it looks like everything is working okay but after making the purchase and filling in my Apple ID password nothing happens and the apps I have purchased are not to be found on the Apps folder, not on the desktop and not in the Dowloads window. Purchases are not showing up on my bank account either. Help please.

Whenever I try to tab my purchased in the update feature of app store; not only does the long list of my previous purchases do not showed up like in IOS 5 do but after a while it just prompt out to the main home page. I tried this for both my 3GS and 4GS too and both have the same problem. APPLE INC please rectify this serious problem as soon as possible.

Device : iPad Air 32gb wi-fi model (not cellular data)
OS version : 7.1.1 (up to date)

Problem : App will not download to iPad when purchased from App Store - stuck with Cloud icon
Last night I tried to download an app over wi-fi onto my iPad Air, but the app did not install.
I have plenty of space (the app is 24.1mb, I have 3.4gb free space) and there are no restrictions whatsoever on my iPad - no blocks on App store purchases, no age-related restrictions, no country restrictions etc.
Normally from the App Store page you would tap the price (in this case the app was free), enter your iTunes password, and the app would download.
Also a new icon appears on the home screen and a circle shows the progress of the download.
However this did not happen.
Instead I have the Cloud icon (the one that shows when you have bought an app but it is not currently installed on your device) and a message that says "You've already purchased this, so it will be downloaded now at no additional cost".
If I press OK I am then prompted to enter my iTunes password, the Cloud symbol briefly changes to a circle (and I mean for a split-second, like the blink of an eye) and then the Cloud symbol appears again.
The app does not download - in fact it does not even *attempt* to download.
I have tried this >20 times now and it always occurs excatly like this.
After Googling this problem (which seems common) and reading over a dozen threads on this forum plus Apple's own official support pages, this is what I've tried:
I can re-download other apps that I have previously purchased on this iPad, with no problems.
I purchased another app on my iPhone 5 and was then able to download onto my iPad with no problems.
I have reset my iPad >5 times - both by pressing/holding the home/power buttons, and also a full switch off and restart.
I have logged out of my iTunes account on the iPad, and logged back in.
The wi-fi is Virgin Media fibre optic broadband with a verified speed of 20 meg (confirmed by Speedtest) plus an 802.11-n Belkin router and my iPad will happily load web pages, stream videos on YouTube, download other apps etc.
I have reset/rebooted my internet connection
In an attempt to eliminate by broadband connection from the possible causes, I have switched off my router, linked my iPad to the hotspot feature on my iPhone and tried to download the app over cellular data, but still cannot download the app.
I have tried on 2 other wi-fi networks but still cannot download this one app.
My iTunes account has a cerdit balance from an iTunes card, but the app was free anyway
Nothing I try will download the app in question.
The app is iPad only, so I cannot install on my iPhone to try and kick-start the process.
I guess I could install the app on my computer and then sync the iPad, but that's *working around* the problem - it's not *fixing* the problem.
(Since getting the iPad I use almost never use my computer. And anyway what if I did not have a computer? Didn't iOS go "PC-free" with version 5?)
I would like to call Apple but my 90-day telephone support has expired (the iPad is around 6 months old) and I don't want to buy Apple Care for this one problem.
I can't make it to an Apple Store to speak to a Genius.
Bearing in mind the list of things I've already tried, what do I do next?

No need to apologize, I actually found the phrase "If your iPad ever craps the bed" amusing under the circumstances
I checked the list of installed apps like you suggested (Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Show all apps) but this problem app is not in the list. I have also swiped down on the home screen to search for it, but again it does not show.
While it has not let me download the app (and I just tried it again) it has helped me to eliminate a few things from the list of what to try, and I can definitely conclude that it has not downloaded.
I guess I need to fire up my PC and download it / sync my iPad.

App photogene not appearing after purchase.. says installed

New Ipad 2, first purchase, Photogene. The app does not appear on the ipad. Does photogene appear as a separate app or is it embedded within the photos?
It looks like from the developer web site demo that photogene is a regular app ... Not sure what happened.. but this was the first app we purchased and we had to enter credit card info after selecting the app. The app says it is installed so we can't repurchase it. .... help.. no support from the developer yet.

I hope someone comes along who knows more about this than I do. I've seen other comments about missing downloads, and some of the time it is because the App is hiding on the second page! I've had that happen at least twice.
It is my understanding that your iPad and your iMac must use the same account. If not, then you can't transfer Apps between them. The store "knows" what your account has downloaded, and will refuse to download it again if you try.
Are you familiar with folders? Is it possible the downloaded App either went into a folder where you haven't looked, or caused a new folder to be created that holds the missing App along with one you already had?
Have you synced the iPad with its host computer since downloading the Apps? That might make it show up. Another thing I'd try (for no good reason!) is to reboot the iPad. Hold down both the Home and Sleep buttons until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. After the iPad has restarted, see if the new Apps have appeared.

I just found another article that suggests it would be worthwhile to try downloading the App again on your iMac. I don't think it would hurt to try.

I have just recovered my mid 2011 MBA through the internet and after OSX installation proceeded to updating it. While downloading the 10.7.4 update I also started downloading apps from my purchase list in my app store account. The purchased list was still there but after the downloading of Aperture was interupted to restart the system updating OSX the list dissapeared. My iTunes account is still logged in and correct but previousely purchased apps e.g. Aperture now show the price instead of the download/install box.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated

There appears to be a problem with all the stores at the moment - other people have posted the same thing about the iTunes stores, and my iTunes and Mac App stores are both showing empty purchased tabs.

Once an app is deleted from an iOs device, you will no longer be prompted for updates. Update alerts only occur for apps curently installed.
Purchases can be hidden (but not completely deleted) from the purchased list, but only using itunes on a computer.

I have checked my App Store account and it works properly. My internet connection is stable. Why I can’t make this purchase?

I found the following in the Macbook Help, and the last bullet worked for me.
"You can uninstall apps you got from the Mac App Store, from other websites, or from discs. You can’t uninstall apps that are part of OS X, such as Safari and Mail.
Apps downloaded from the Mac App Store: Click the Launchpad icon in the Dock, hold down an app’s icon until all the icons begin to jiggle, then click an app’s delete button . If you later want the app, you can reinstall it from the Mac App Store.If an icon doesn’t have a delete button, it can’t be uninstalled in Launchpad. For more information about Launchpad, see Use Launchpad to view and open apps.
Apps that have an uninstaller: In the Finder sidebar, click Applications. If an app is inside a folder, it might have an Uninstaller. Open the app’s folder. If you see Uninstall [App] or [App] Uninstaller, double-click it and follow the onscreen instructions.
Apps that don’t have an uninstaller: In the Finder sidebar, click Applications. HT5625 can not purchase from apps store. message states - Apple ID is disabled.

Can not purchase from Apps Store. Continue to get message stating that Apple ID is disabled after I select install. I have change my Itune account pass word and updated all information.

After resetting your password you might then need to log out of your account on your iPod by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it

How do I remove apps from app store "not on this iPhone" list on iPhone 4 using ios 6

I want to remove many of the apps listed in the app store of my iPhone 4 under "apps no longer on this iPhone." I have ios 6.0.1. I don't ever want to use these apps again. They are gone from the iPhone and my iTunes, but are still listed on the iPhone under "apps no longer on this iPhone in the app store. I read somewhere to swipe the unwanted apps and choose a red "hide" option. My apps won't swipe. The only option available is to press a cloud icon to reinstall the unwanted app, which is certainly not what I want to do.

I can't delete a number of browser links (resulting from "add to home screen" feature); apps from a convention I attended (Right NowPGX), an old Tunein Radio app, a corny Dream Wife app.
