List view problems in calendars

Help! All of a sudden I have developed a problem with the list view on my iphone calendar. Events are showing up with incorrect dates, but ARE correct on the page views and month views. For example, an event correctly showing as 25 Oct on month view, reads as 11 Oct in list view. If I select the entry from the list view, the data is correctly recorded under the actual event. Can anyone help? My days get very busy and the list view is invaluable for a quick scan through! Cheers!

Thankfully now resolved - it was simply a case of switching of the calendars on MobileMe on my iphone, waiting a minute or two and then switching them back on again!

  • Help !  The 'list view' for the Calendar app. on my Ipod touch is haywire..

    The 'list view' seems to be all wonky in Calendar on my iPod touch.
    The dates for a given day that's displayed don't make sense:
    i.e. Sunday Oct. 27 2030 followed by Saturday July 14 2001 followed by Tuesday Jan. 16 2001 are listed in consecutive order instead of today, tomorrow and next day (with correct dates).
    Also, the 'events' given for each day listed don't make sense and are often duplicated.
    The 'day' and 'month' views however, seem to be ok and not corrupted. The 'list' field in the month view also seems fine ?
    Has anybody experienced this ? Very frustrating, since I like the list view.
    I make most of my entries/changes to iCal on our main desktop (iMac 24") then sync. to my iPod. The list view seems ok on the desktop.
    Any help greatly appreciated.
    ps. not sure if the problem corresponded with an upgrade of the Ipod software to OS 3.1 from 2.x....
    ipod touch 16 GB 2nd generation iPhone OS 3.1 iPhone OS 3.1.1 (7C145)

    Attach the iPod and launch iTunes.
    Select it and goto Info tab / Advanced.
    Try using the "replace..." option and sync to see if it places the good data on there.

  • Is there a way to make List View in the Calendar your default view in iOS7?

    I want to be able to have the List View be my default view on my calendar but I can't find a way to do this.  Is there something I am missing?

    No, it's not possible. However, there are lots of apps available in App Store that will let you do that. Week Call, Fantatical, Cal, are juste a couple.
    Best of luck.

  • No list view button in calendar month view with iOS 7.1

    There is no calendar list view button in the month view or any other view on my iPad Air after the iOS 7.1 update? Is this just an iPhone feature or did I Miss something?

    The list view at the bottom of the screen is an iPhone feature. If you tap the magnifying glass in the calendar, that brings up a list view.

  • Safari 6.0.5. Bookmark bar list view Problem

    I am running safari 6.0.5. I have a problem with the Bookmark bar. It recently changed from a list view to a scrollable preview of websites. I would like to return to list view.

    In the middle of the bottom edge of the black area in the bookmarks window, there's a "grab handle" represented by three short, faint horizontal lines. When you move the cursor there, it changes to a hand. Click and drag the grab handle upward.

  • Stacks List View problem

    I am very grateful that stacks has adopted the list view. It was getting out of control and some people don't want a huge spread taking over screen space when you have a lot in your folders.
    I have one observation and a question.
    1. The list view has the one fatal flaw of not allowing you to drag files from it elsewhere (like the trash). This is an essential part of stacks, especially your download stack. Am I missing something or did they just get this wrong?
    2. Can you re-size the icons for stacks in fan and grid views? It would be much better for me if they could be smaller. I have the 24" monitor so viewing them is hardly a problem.

    Ok I like the fact that we now have a third option on how to access our files via the Dock, but unfortunately, we only get to use one at a time.
    It would be so much convenient to use a left click to access either Grid or Fan, and a right click to access the list view via a list item on the opening list.
    Also, I notice that if you drag a file onto one of the stacks, the stack opens (via the spring loaded feature) and allows you to drop the file onto one of the applications. If you change your mind and don't actually drop the file, the window will close - which is GOOD. But if you do drop the file unto the application, the window will NOT close - which is BAD.
    In addition, the look of the opening window is not the same look as when the stack is activated with a click. It actually turns into a Finder window.
    So, the stack should open and close in all instances (being consistent) and it should have the look of a stack and not a folder (staying consistent). On the other hand, if the stack is opened via a list and subsequently opens to an actual Finder window, then obviously, it should simply be a Finder window and not an opaque (Stack) window.
    Thanks,
    Dorian

  • List view problem in iTunes 10.  How to move Album/Artist description text.

    Starting with iTunes 10, in list view the Artist and Album name info was moved from underneath the Album Art in the "Artwork" column to the right of it. like the 1st screenshot below Is there a way to revert to having that info placed underneath the artwork like the 2nd screenshot below?

    No, there is no option to change the the layout. FWIW I prefered the older layout too. We don't all have wide screens. You could drop a line to iTunes Feedback if you want.

  • List view problem

    I use List view. The left column contains icons for Applications, drives, etc., and I can add folders and files by dragging them to that column. But I can't *delete* them, either by dragging them out or hitting Delete or Opt-Delete. What do I do?

    Thanks, but I should have specified further. Neither Delete, Opt-Delete, Ctrl-Delete, CMD-delete (by which I assume you mean the Apple key + delete) nor any of these options with Shift works. What I'm trying to do is delete items from the left-hand column in List view (in fact, I now see that it's in all views) where you can drag folders, files,  individual apps, etc., to launch them directly instead of having to dig down in folders. It's baffling.

  • Modifying to-do list view in the calendar

    the calendar of my 9300 currently shows all the entries in my to-do list, including entries that are not yet due. i would like to modify the view so that it does not show entries that are still due in the future.
    i would appreciate any help in making this modification.
    thanks!

    I'd like to know the answer to this too!
    One workaround is to make the entry not as a to-do note but as a memo. Unfortunately, I don't know any way of reviewing memos as a complete list: you have to find them by stepping through the calendar in Day or Week view.
    You could also enter to-dos as meetings, positioned at the very beginning or very end of the day; these could quickly be found in Day, Week or Weekly Time Schedule views.
    I'm not too bothered by this because I handle task management with a 3rd-party program, RMRTask. Unfortunately, this can't link directly to Calendar or its alarms.

  • HT4946 "List View" in Calendar!!??!?!?!?

    Am I the only one who wants "List View" back in the new Calendar App?!?!??  This is sooooo frustrating!  In iOS7 when it was only available under the "search" option, that was annoying.  But now, with iOS7.1, Apple has removed it all together!!!

    Thank you for your nice reply. Well, I didn't realize this particular thread was about this List View problem in the iPhone -- I've spent about half an hour reading similar complaints in other threads about iOS 7 in general.
    The Search icon is a Search icon, not a List View icon for the List View function. The Search icon annoyingly opens up the keyboard, which I don't need to have a look (View) of upcoming events. Secondly, the pseudo list view that appears does NOT code the events by calendar color.
    I bet you a 128GB iPad Air that this limitation is annoying to, yes, thousands of iPad users. It's not arrogance, it's purely statistics, since there are literally millions of iOS 7 users in the world.
    Briefly, instead of restoring a very simple List View option, what Apple is telling thousands of customers is: "You don't NEED a list view in your iPad anymore. But if you believe you do, click on an icon which is not for a list, but for Search, and which will open a keyboard that you don't need, close the keyboard, and try to guess which calendar the events that will appear belong to --  personal, professional, holidays... you name it!  However (Apple continues) if you have an iOhone, you DO NEED a specific icon for an event list. Or, else, waste your time trying to find a roundabout way to do what a few months ago, in the Old Times of iOS 6, you used to do with a click".
    That's Apple's (il)logic for its mistakes, and the rest is just justifications.

  • Calendar shuts down on list view

    I could use some help. Lately, whenever I go to the List view on my calendar, it closes itself down. It was annoying, but not debilitating. Now, however, it seems that the calendar is "set" to List view and as soon as I try to open it, it shuts down immediately. So now, I effectively don't have a calendar at all on my phone.
    Any thoughts on this?

    I was having this problem, too: I could use Month and Day views without problem, but List view would cause the Calendar app to exit. I could also use List view on a single calendar without problem, but selecting "All" calendars and returning to List mode would cause Calendar app to exit.
    The solution (works, but is far from ideal), is to reduce the number of calendars you are syncing to the iPhone. List view is now working for me with five calendars being synced. (Prior to the version update, my 1.1.4 iPhone was syncing 8 or 9 without problem.)
    Hopefully, they'll fix this in an upcoming release, and we can go back to more calendars again.

  • Calendar List View MISSING in iOS 7.1 on iPhone 4S

    The old way to get list view was to tap the magnifying lens.
    Since 7.1 there is supposed to be a red button that toggles list view and month calendar + partial (smailler) list view.
    The icons for these are 3 lines for List View and a small rectangle with 2 lines under it for Month + List view.
    I only have Month + List view and never see the 3 line icon, nor can I find any way to get full screen list views of my calendar.
    Any suggestions welcome. Thank you.

  • Calendar list view (not just birthdays) off by part of a day

    The list view of the calendar on the iPhone 4 is showing events on the wrong days... Not just birthdays, not just the Exchange calendar I'm syncing, but also not all events. And it's only off by part of a day. The calendar on 10.6 displays all of them correctly, and the day view of the iOS 4 calendar is correct.
    Here's an example:
    Mon Jul 12 2010
    --> 16:35 Event A = correct
    --> 21:46 Event B = correct
    --> 12:00 Event C ==> Wrong. Should be on Jul 13
    Tue Jul 13 2010
    --> 20:00 Event D ==> Should be Wed, Jul 14
    Wed Jul 14 2010
    --> 12:00 Event E ==> Actually Thu Jul 15
    --> 13:30 Event F ==> Actually Thu Jul 15
    Thu Jul 15 2010
    --> 20:00 Event G ==> Right day, but then we have:
    --> 13:30 Event H ==> Actually Fri, Jul 16
    Anyone have a suggestion?

  • Is it possible to turn List View off in Mountain Lion's Calendar?

    I used to be able to see just the day view with calendar blocks.  Now I have a list view between my calendars and my day's schedule.  This is really messing up my work flow (I schedule people all day).  Is it possible to get rid of the list view and go back to just seeing the calendars and the day schedule?

    Don't know about (a), but (b) looks like a 'yes':
