Listen to Audio Comments

I have created pdf scrapbooks for my kids with audio commenting.  I would like them to be able to listen to the comments as they flip through the pages on my tablet.  Is there a way we can currently do this?  If not, how do I suggest this as a new feature?
Thanks,
Sara

Hello Sara,
As far as I know, you cannot do this currently. You can suggest this as a new feature through this link.
Do remember to select "Adobe Reader for Android" as the product name.

  • Is it possible to record and listen to audio on the ipad like in adobe reader 11?

I'm wondering if it is possible to record audio comments and listen back to them on the ipad or iPhone? I know this is possible using adobe reader 11 on my laptop.

It is not possible in Reader. If you want to reacord audio comments, record them in mp3 format your iPad and your computer will have no trouble playing them back.

I have a 2009 A6 with a 5th Gen. iPod pluggedinto the MMI.  I mostly  listen to audio books, not a lot ofmusic.  The books are 4-6 hours long, vs 4-6minutes with a song.  Often, but not always, when I start my A6, the MMI starts on the first song on my iPod, thereforeI don't know where I stopped in my 4-6 hour book.  How can I get the interface to stay stopped where I left off?  I have gone into iTunes and placed my current book as the first "song" on my iPod for ease of finding it, but often the MMI starts it over at the beginning.  Thank you if anyone has any experience with this.  My dealer in San Rafael, CA says they've never heard of this issue.

I think my iPod, which is an iPod touch 3rd generation , which is a lot different from a nano, which really makes it almost impossible for me to help you, which is why I suggested that you post your question in the iPod nano community.  Your first post says that your product is an iPod nano. I think the people who answer those questions would be most likely to help you. If yours isn't a nano then you can pick the right community from here. This community is really to answer questions about this forum, or issues that don't fit anywhere else.

  • Improve the audio comments quality in Acrobat X ? is that possible ?

    Hi,
I work with large PDF documents in several languages and I need to add audio comments a lot. However, when I record them using the Audio Comment feature of Adobe Acrobat, I get extremely low files in size, and extremely bad quality in the recording.
My microphone is fantastic, and works nice with every computer application, so I am not having problems with the microphone or that stuff, it is clear that Adobe Acrobat is recording my voice to the lowest level of possible quality, and I want to change that. Even if my documents are a bit heavier, I would like to record my voice with better quality.
So the killer question is: How may I do this?
    Thanks

There is no user control over the recording format for sound annotations.

  • How do I listen to audio that requires Flashplayer on my iPad???

How do I listen to audio that requires Flashplayer on my iPad??? Target website states the following:
What must I do to be able to hear archived program audio?
In addition to your computer and Internet connection, you'll need a sound card, speakers or headphones, and to have the Flash player installed in your web browser. Your computer can use any operating system: Windows, Macintosh, or Unix/Linux/Solaris.
American Public Media audio uses a Flash audio player which requires that you have the Adobe Flash player installed in your web browser.

Adobe has not made a version of Flash for the iPad.

So, I have the same thing playing with a delay... What is happening and how to fix it? Is there any other way to play theese kinds of files without using Flip4Mac WMV?

Use Flash Media Server to stream the files.......set up a timer and have all three of them play at once....and have a button switch the streams depending upon which stream you want to play.....and wallah......
you can also capture the stream.time from the video playing and resume from that point on the other videos as well....havent done this theoretically so I dont know how smooth the transistion between streams will be....but it can be done....
plus u may have to use double buffering techniques to make sure it starts up right away......

  • I want to use my old 4G ipod to listen to audio books I loaded into my computer from CD's

I want to use my old 4G ipod to listen to audio books I loaded into my computer from CD's

Another thing to remember is the phone is actually usable for 911 calls and maybe others. Not a real good idea. Especially for a child.
It would depend however on the age of the child.
    Good Luck

  • I'm not able to listen to audio files that I purchased, help.

I'm not able to listen to audio files I just purchased. Please help.

Bravo are the files visible?  Did you get them from the iTunes store and purchase them on your iPad?  What happens when you try and listen?
If you haven't done so yet, I would try the basic restart/reset.

  • Problem with audio quality using Record Audio Comment

I am recording audio comments in Adobe Acrobat Professional using the "Record Audio Comment" tool. The sound quality is bad--very scratchy and has a noisy hum. I am using a good USB headset/microphone. Recordings outside of Acrobat are fine, e.g., in Audacity. I have tried two different microphones with both Acrobat 8 and 9 on two different computers (a desktop and a laptop) with similar results.
I have not found an audio quality setting in Acrobat. Is there some way to improve the audio quality when recording comments? I suspect Acrobat is compressing the audio so much in order to save file size, however, the poor quality makes it almost unusable.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice. I know I can record outside of Acrobat and then add the pre-recorded audio as a comment, but that defeats the purpose.
    Bev

Sorry to hear you are having problems.
A few things you can try:
    1. Turning the volume of your TV up too high during a call can cause the kinds of audio problem you describe. Try turning the TV volume down and this should stop the 'feedback' problems you are having.
    2. If you are using external speakers, then try switching these off and using the speakers built in to the TV. The TV was originally tested for Skype using the TV's internal speakers, so if you have a soundbar or other external speakers connected, the audio performance may suffer on Skype calls.
    Best wishes

  • What group I must belong to listen an audio CD?[SOLVED]

When I'm opening sound-juicer to listen an audio CD or an IPOD, I have a message telling to me that I don't have access permission to see their content. So, what group have my user belong to use them?

"audio" to use the sound hardware.
    "optical" to read the CD.
"disk" to mount an iPod (as it's considered a USB disk).
You may also want to be in a few other groups:
"log" to read private system logs.
"video" if you have TV-tuner hardware (or similar things).
    "games" to play games.
    Here is my group list:

  • Listening to audio

When I am listening to audio book I, if I go to play a game I can no longer hear the audio

    That is normal.
You can open the game, see if it has settings and some kind of sound setting for external audio.

  • Listening to audio through TV.

I've been using Apple's AV Cable to watch some video's and slideshows for a few weeks now. Is there a way that i can use the cable to listen to audio through my TV. im sure i did it before, but i may have been intoxicated or delusional.
    *nathan

Sure. Just attach the AV cable to the tv, and turn on the tv, and select a song to hear.
The only issue you might experience is if the TV has a timer that automatically turns it off if it's not in use. Since you're not using the video part of the AV connection, some TVs believe they're inactive. I've had a few TVs turn off on me in the middle of using them for audio.

  • How long can I expect the battery to last when listening to audio books

My batteries seem to lose power quickly.  How long should I expect it to last when listening to audio books or radio?

May 30 hour with audio book since that is the same as music.
Radio is a lot less since that requires wifi. Maybe 10 hours
