Listen to YouTube app while using another app

I just got my ipad2. I'm still learning about it, but when I am playing music on the YouTube app, and try to use another app, the music goes off. I thought this thing was meant to dominate in the field of multitasking. Another issue, I can't find ANY official videos of songs on the YouTube app. Please help!!! Thanks!!

There are a number of music streaming apps that support running in the background along with the iPod Music app. This is not supported with the YouTube app which is a video app.
Doubtful there are many if any official videos of songs on YouTube due to licensing issues. If so, they won't be available long. What you search for and find is it.

Ok, similar to my other question. I am currently downloading a very large program. If I use another app will it download in the background or do I need to wait until the download is complete before using my iPad?

By "downloading a very large program" do you mean a large App from the App Store?
Yes you can let it download while you do other things on the iPad.

Full screen videos/streams on second monitor won't stay full screen while using another window on other monitor

Whenever I open and then full screen a video or stream of any kind, I am unable to use another window of Firefox while the video/stream maintains full screen. When I click off the video/stream it reverts back to the smaller screen. Is there any way to change this?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

I mentioned this in another thread, but if you're using the iPhone headset, the click button works the same way on the iPad. Click once to pause, double-click to skip to the next track.
That applies to the older headset that works with the 3G, I'm not sure what the 3GS/4 headset does.

Is it possible to mirror a full screen video on one workspace while using another?

I have Mountain Lion and mirroring capability to my Apple TV but is there a 3rd party utility out there that anyone knows of that enables me to still use my computer while mirroring a full screen video. I've tried running a video on one workspace and when I swiped over to my other workspace of course it mirrored it. I get it, that's how it works but how much better would it be if it could selectively mirror a workspace? Anyone seen a workaround/utility that allows this?

Now that I think about it, I do have another issue that baffles me. When I'm on any given web-page, and I right click to send (e-mail) the link, nothing happens. Could this have something to do with the FF version I'm using? (3.6.16) I say this because, in the past, this wasn't a problem. FYI... I already opened Tools-Options-Applications Tab, scrolled down to MAILTO, and tried switching to both of my e-mail clients. Still... Nothing at all. Any ideas?

HI,
I wouldn't use two anti-viruses as a permanent solution. I have used two at the same time during migration scenarios, installting SCEP, when it reports back that it is installed succesfully, put it in a a collection and uninstall the old Antivirus.
I have done it this way a couple of times and I haven't had any co-existence problems.

You don't need the background image -- you supply THAT in FCPX. Just work the text effect and publish it.

IPhone 4 does not notify me of a text message while I am using another app

What gives?? I have not changed any settings on my iPhone but I recently noticed that when I am actively using another app (any app from social networking to games, etc.) my phone does not vibrate/ring/otherwise notify me that I have received a text. The only way I can tell if I have received a text is if I exit an app, then scroll over to my messages and see if there is an icon to show that I have a new message. How can I fix this? Nope, text messages are set to alert style, none of these settings has changed. Like I said, it's only an intermittent problem that happens while I am using another app or mail or Safari or whatever. Strangely enough, when I am using a music app (Pandora, etc.) that does not require me to actively use it (for example, I am listening to music but the lock screen is on, and when I unlock I'm just on my home screen... I do get text alerts. This is so weird and such a pain!

My iPhone gets really hot while using YouTube. Is/has anyone else experienced this? Should I be concerned?I did a search and only came up with threads talking about the phone getting warm while charging, my phone does not get hot/warm while charging, only when using YouTube and sometimes while using Safari. Any input will be greatly appreciated!

When connected via WiFi or EDGE or no difference.
My iPhone sometimes gets considerable warm when connected via EDGE with low reception but this is rare when connected via WiFi or with good reception.

Lost YouTube app post iOS 6 upgrade and using genius

I upgraded my ipad2 to iOS 6 last night. And now I am unable to locate my you tube app. I also added genius to see what it is ( I have not used this before). I remember that while configuring genius, one of the genius page was hung (I clicked on done and nothing was happening and hence I had to restart my iPad).
Problem is I cannot find ou tube in App Store or anywhere to re install and also think this is a bug. Has anyone faced this as well ? What is the solution to get the you tube app back. I thought you tube app was default!

Here is the thing the actual license for Apple to have a native YouTube app has expired you must understand this more about Apple removing Google from its ecosystem and less about actual licenses. If Apple was so inclined I am almost certain they could have continued to provide a native YouTube app.
Do you really think that Apple Maps are "better" for iOS users? You know that you can set your default search to another provider such as Bing? Imagine Apple changing its default Safari search to Bing. You must understand that Google makes more from searches on iOS devices than it does on everyting that is Andriod (source:http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/google-earns-four-times-more-from-ios-than-a ndroid/). Apple is slowly and meticulously working on freeing iOS of Google products.
Of course it is a free market and Apple will most certainly allow Google's apps on their app store. There is an iPhone optimized version of YouTube in the app store.
