Listener is pointing to wrong location

Hi Experts,
I have installed 3 database in my one unix server. For one of the system the listener parameter file location is pointing to wrong path. It should point to /oracle/<SID>/11202/networ/admin/listener.ora but it is pointing to other system SID hence the error is like the user is not authorized to start the listener.
I checked the env of my system and which is fine. Please suggest where can i check the path for Listener parameter File.
Thanks and Regards
Gaurav

  • Font pointing to wrong location

In my document text using Lucida Grande has dissapeared. Upon sleuthing using "Find Font" I've discovered that Lucida Grande is actually pointing to a different font: /Library/Fonts/Stone Sans OS ITC TT. The other font used - Lucida Grande Bold works fine, and using "Find Font" it points to the correct location of /System/Library/Fonts/LucidaGrande.ttc
What is interesting is that the same problem appears on two different machines using two different versions of InDesign. The problem first appeard on my MacBook Pro using InDesign 5 but it also happens on my iMac using InDesign 5.5.
I tired creating a new document on both machines, and the problem follows.
How can I tell InDesign to point Lucida Grande to /System/Library/Fonts/LucidaGrande.ttc?
I tried copying the font to the /Library/Fonts folder, but the Mac OS X complains about duplicate fonts.

    Hey there,
Lucida Grande is a system font, and should not be moved from the System/Library/Fonts folder. Doing so may render your Mac unbootable. The reason you're getting the duplicate font issue is because Lucida Grande must be present and in use at startup, and copying it into one of the other Fonts folders essentially tries to activate it again. It's probably a good idea not to use Lucida Grande in your design work to avoid potential system problems when packaging/loading the font onto another system.
    Hope this helps,
    Cheers!

  • Business address points to wrong location on map

When entered into the Apple maps app, the address of my business sends my customers 15 miles away into the boonies. I have done the report a problem and moved the pin in the app NUMEROUS times over the last 6 months. Is there any way to contact someone that can actually do something about this? It is beyond frustrating for me and my customers.

Is there a way to modify the variable that windows GPO uses?  In the GPO configuration window for shortcuts the target location is a drop-down menu and when you select desktop is uses the %DesktopDir% variable even though this isn't a valid.

I moved the folder where my iWeb page was being published but the RSS link is pointing the old folder. I modified the html in Dreamweaver but when I resave and publish again using iWeb, the change is replaced.
    Any way to fix this?

IF you were uploading it correctly, you would upload the whole folder, as it was published.

  • After hard drive replacement, iTunes points to wrong drive

I have my iTunes media on an external drive, and the drive failed. Luckily I had a backup, and I also had a spare drive to replace the bad one with. So I set up the replacement drive on my Mac Mini, naming it the same as the old drive (iTunes Library). I then copied the data from the backup onto the replacement drive. I then connected the replacement drive to the Mac, and started up iTunes. From the looks of everything, it looked like all was good, all of my Music, Movies, etc. was there. So yesterday I happen to look at the path for one of my Music files, and I see that now iTunes is pointing to my iTunes Backup drive, named "iTunes Backup", instead of my regular iTunes drive, named "iTunes Library".
I had thought that iTunes would still know that the replacement drive, named the same as the old one, would still point to it, but apparently I was wrong. I even went to "Preferences" and pointed the Media location to the replacement drive, not the backup.
So, my question is: How can I get iTunes to point to the right drive? Do I have to open iTunes with the "Option" key and have it point to the replacement drive? Is there something else?
At least I had a backup, and both replacement and backup drives seem ok...
    HELP!!

Well, it is complicated in the way your public library does things is complicated.  iTunes keeps a catalog of media files and assumes from that catalog that the file exists where it was noted to exist when it was added to the library.  Just as with my public library, there can be off-site storage too, but they have to make sure somebody hasn't moved their books without telling them or they are in a mess.  As I said earlier, I have no idea how your catalog on the internal drive got into its head to use the files on the backup drive.  That goes completely contrary to how iTunes has ever operated from all the topics I have seen on this site for 10+ years, unless there was something else you did that I am not hearing. No matter, if this is truly the scenario.  What I am having you do is deliberately break all the links to the files on the backup drive and hopefully rebuild links to the files on the new library drive.  Then you will be using the other document to change the location of the rest of your non-media library files so it is all together on the library drive for easier moving in future.  I guess you could do it in either order.  The thing is, the library file (iTunes library.itl which ties all iTunes together) is telling you (according to what you report) that when you request track XYZ in iTunes it should be going to the backup drive and play file xyz, but you want it to go to the library drive and use the file there.  If you simply copy the library file to your library drive it will still be trying to find the music file on the backup drive.  The only ways to change the designation are to either breaks the links and take advantage of iTunes' re-linking tool, or to use the editable .xml version of the library file to hand-edit the file paths and use that file to rebuild the library file with come concurrent loss of data that is only in the .itl version.

  • Portal Navigates to Wrong Location from One DI????

    Hello Al,
We've had intermittent problems with one of our DI's in our QA or PROD environments navigating to a wrong location in from 1st/2nd level navigation.
    - It typically only happens with one portal tab, not many or all.
    - We know the problem isn't with our content as it chooses to navigate to locations sometimes in our own content but many times in an admin area, but totally unrelated to where it should go.
    - Once the error occurs the bad navigation remains the same until we've cycle java.
    - We've tried clearing PCD cache on the bad DI but that hasn't helped.
This may be happening only after we release content but we're not sure of that at this point. Our release process has us shutting down the DI's, importing new content to the CI, then bringing DI's up one at a time for testing. If the area affected by the problem isn't part of our release content the problem may not be discovered until later regression testing. Has anyone seen anything similar?
    Thanks,
    Doug

  • Jump to wrong location

I have a project with about 85 slides that was built with Captivate 4. Many of the slides have buttons that jump to other slides for branching within the presentation. On one of the buttons it is jumping to the wrong slide when I deploy it to our LMS (Moodle). In the web broser preview it works fine, and the properties of the button show it jumping to the correct slide, but when I deploy it within Moodle, it jumps to the wrong location. I have reloaded it and rebuilt it several times, but it is still doing the same thing. Any ideas?
    Thanks,

Not really. I thought if i use absolute bendpoints the translation is not
    necessary.

  • Robo Help Server 8 Publishing files to wrong location

    Hi
I have recently installed a trail verstion of Robo Help 8 server.  All appears to be ok with the install I can access the website and log into the admin portal etc...  The only diffrence from the default install is that I have configured tomcat to use port 80 rather than 8080.
However I am having a problem whenever i try to publish a help file from Robo Help 8, I input all of the details of the server <Server IP>/robohelp/server
put in the default admin username and password and select the general area to publish the help file to.  All of the files appear to publish ok from Robo Help 8 and no errors are receved.
When I log onto the admin portal of the website the there is nothing displayed in the projects window.  I have check the local disk of there server were robo help is installed and i think the problem may be that the server is putting the files in the wrong location.
I can see that a folder has been created in the following location
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp Server 8\robo\server\general\projects\TestProject
with the following folders within it
    resource
    webhelp_skin_files
    whdata
    whxdata
However none of these folders contain any data.
All of the files apper to be uploading to C:\ not the above directory wich is what i would expect.
If a copy the files that have been uploaded to C:\ to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp Server 8\robo\server\general\projects\TestProject and restart the tomcat service the project then shows in the project window.  However when i click view project all i get is a blank screen.  I have searched the forum but cannot find anyone having a similar issue.
Any help would be gratley appriciated.
Below is the config of the Server
Windows 2003 Server IIS not installed
    Java 6.21
    Tomcat 6.0.29

  • Maps directs me to wrong location

Hi All -- My Google maps (the one that came with the phone) constantly sends me to the wrong location. I'll type in a known address (let's say 5410 Wilshire Blvd, 90036) and it will give me directions just to Wilshire Blvd (no street address). It does this almost every time, both in Maps view and List view.
I've tried typing the address in, or linking to it from my calendar meeting location, and still doesn't work.
I have the google app, so I can go there, go to Maps and enter it in there and it works fine, but that seems like a lot of extra work. Anyone find a fix?
Also, I'm finding it near impossible to view traffic on the map if you have a route marked.

I just tried this ("5410 Wilshire Blvd, 90036") and a red pin drops down to a precise street address (looks to be over Vince). Where does your red pin fall?
Also, I'm finding it near impossible to view traffic on the map if you have a route marked.
This is a problem I experience as well. Unfortunately the best solution I have found is that once the purple route line has been drawn after tapping Route, to just toggle over to Search and the purple will go away. This way you can see traffic conditions as you have a general idea of where the purple is.

  • Shipping point at storage location level in ME2O

    hi Guys,
I am using stock transport orders at storage location level, and it works fine, we have a customizing point to configure shipping point at storage location level.
My doubt is if we can use also shipping point det. at storage location level for creating Deliveries for Subcontracting process in ME2O.
It works only If I customize the shipping point det. at plant level, not considering the customizing at storage location level.
    kind regards

    Dear Ram,
Can you please specify the configuration that you have made? And which storage location determination rule are you using for your Delivery Type?

  • Folders on the IMAP server do not appear or appear in wrong location - those cannot be modified in Thunderbird because "they do not exist on server".

    Hi all,
A few days ago, I moved 3 sub-folders within my Archive folder. I was doing those modifications using Thunderbird.
My Archive folder used to contain the following sub-folders:
    Archive
    /A2014
    /B2014
    /C2014
I tried to move the folders A2014, B2014 and C2014 under the sub-folder LastYear, and created new A, B and C folders for 2015, so that it would be something like:
    Archive
    /LastYear
    /A2014
    /B2014
    /C2014
    /A2015
    /B2015
    /C2015
On the webmail interface, everything looks fine: the old A, B and C folders where moved into the Archives/LastYear folder, and the new A, B and C folders appear under Archives. However, on Thunderbird things are a bit more... strange.
Case 1: For some folders, things are as they should be.
Folders A2014 and B2014 were correctly moved into Archives/LastYear.
Folders A2015 and C2015 were correctly created in Archives.
Case 2: One folder does not appear at all - anymore.
Folder B2015 does not appear anywhere - despite being visible on the webmail interface. It does not appear in the list of folders to synchronize. No .msf file appear. Nothing happens if I try creating it again.
Note that it briefly existed after I created it, but stopped appearing a few hours later.
Case 3: One folder appears in the wrong location and cannot be accessed.
Folder C2014 appears in the old location (Archives) and not were it should be (and is on the webmail interface), that is Archives/LastYear. I cannot perform any operation on it in Thunderbird, I systematically get the following error message:
"The current operation on 'C2014' did not succeed. The mail server for account <AccountName> responded: "Archives/C2014" doesn't exist."
(Which is correct because according to the server the folder C2014 is in Archives/LastYear).
The C2014.msf file is also wrongly located, but moving it to the correct location did not change anything: the next time Thunderbird was started, the wrongly located .msf file was re-created.
Thunderbird does not show the emails contained in this folder - when I try loading them I get the previous error message.
Using the same style than before, here is how my Archives folder look right now:
    Archive
    /LastYear
    /A2014
    /B2014
    /A2015
    /C2015
    /C2014
I am totally flabbergasted, I have no idea of where the problem is. I tried various fixes found on forums (such as playing around with the .msf files), but no luck so far. Any idea?
    A few more details:
    - I use an IMAP server.
    - This is a professional address, and I have little control on it.
    - I use Thunderbird with this account on two different computer, the problem is identical on both computers.
    - I tried removing/re-installing the account from Thunderbird, it did not change anything.
I would be eternally grateful if any of you could come up with a solution!
    Many many thanks,
    Agnes

I know my files downloaded through Firefox won't appear in my downloads folder because that is just supported by Safari
No, I think that Apple just assigned the Downloads folder to Safari to send things there by default. You can do the same with Firefox, just go to the Firefox Preferences, click on main, tick the "Save files to..." and click the Choose button, then navigate to /Users/yourname/Downloads and click choose. I have always had all my Internet applications download things to a Downloads folder I keep at the root level of the drive (so all users can access them), but I just changed the Firefox pref to the new Apple Downloads folder and it worked fine.
