Listening to iPod functions with a bluetooth headset?
I paired a motorola headset with the iPhone and was able to use it to take a call. Is there a way to use it to listen to podcasts and music through the iPod function?
Thanks!
The iPhone does not support bluetooth stereo, also known as the A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) or even AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile).
Maybe future updates might include bluetooth stereo support.
For more info on A2DP and AVRCP, visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A2DP .

Few days ago I bought a chinese bluetooth headset zw88 (zonoko) as I read in its indications that it was able to use with an iPod but later I realised that the iPod touch 4G couldn't recognize this device. I would like to know how to make it works. Thanks.
What sometimes works is to remove all paired devices from the car and then re-pair them.
If that doesn't help, contact the car manufacturer/a local dealership and see if there's an update for your stereo to resolve the issue.

Using iPod function with Bluetooth
I recently bought a subaru impreza with a usb connector in which I plug in my iphone. The radio has Bluetooth so I can take calls through the stereo as well
I issue is that when the cable is connected and the Bluetooth turned on, for some reason, I cannot access the iPod controls through the car dashboard, like looking through the iphone library and music folders. But when I turn off Bluetooth, The iPod function works again. But then I cannot take any calls through the car dashboard.
I just don't know if there's a way to have my iphone plugged in to use the iPod functions, while at the same time to have Bluetooth turned on so I can take calls?
I have no idea if I made sense. If I recall things properly, you can't play music with a bluetooth headset. You need a bluetooth device which supports A2DP or AVCRP. My Jabra BT620S supports both methods, so I can pair it with the cell phone using the headset mode and with the iPod using the A2DP mode to play stereo audio back. My cheap LG stereo headset is similar. My more expensive Motorola H12 only supports the headset mode so I can use it for the phone, but not for the iPod playback.

No sound on Youtube with my bluetooth headset
Hello world !
I've have a curious problem with Youtube.
When i go on youtube with my bluetooth headset on my head, the sound of the videos is not in my headset but in the speakers of my PC
But i have no problem with other sites like Jamendo for example. Have you got an idea ? xD (Oh and my web Browser is Firefox )
Thank you for reading this post.Hi there!.
I'm just curious: Have you tried the minitube client (you can install it through the official repos). See if you get output there when trying to see a video.
That is the best bet I think you have in terms of the software you use to see flash content. You could also try the google-chrome package of the AUR and check how does that browser react to the BT headset (there are differences between the flash plugin of Firefox and Google's).
I hope this helps you in some way while someone smarter than me sorts out your issue.
Best of Luck -

Has anyone had trouble with their bluetooth headset? (even after pairing)
Has anyone had trouble with their bluetooth headset? I have a Motorola H700 that pairs with the iphone but takes about 10 seconds after i hit send for the connection between the phone and the headset to be established. I also get allot of static when the headset is more than 3 feet away from the phone. (this headset worked perfectly @ about 40' with a Motorola Razr I had)
Hi jmsemac,
I understand you are experiencing some issues with Bluetooth connections. I have linked to an article which provides some troubleshooting steps you may want to explore:

Pairing n800 with a bluetooth headset
Anyone tries to pair their N800 with a bluetooth headset? Just wondering which bluetooth headset will work with N800
Tried to pair a bluetooth headset with the N800 and it did pair however I couldn't hear nor speak through the headset. I then found out via Nokia's FAQ that the N800 does NOT support the Bluetooth hands-free profile (HFP). It's too bad since I wanted to use Skype (voice over IP) with a wireless headset instead of the wired headset that came with the N800 (earphones keep falling out of my ears).

I can't figure it out. I have to unplug the aux cable, turn off my bluetooth headset and then turn it back on to answer the call.
Yes... simply select the appropriate audio output when answering the call.

Change the track with a bluetooth headset
Hey guys,
I have a bluetooth headset (Nokia BH-504) and I can't change/play/pause the song with the headset controls just in the iTunes (its possible in the Windows Media Player). How can I enable this function? You may find it easier to select the kids than the background. Instead of copying to new layer, create a mask, then you can add or remove as you like.
In the top tool bar click the icon in the middle to add to selection. Then use your option key to remove.
When you are nearing done, you can then refine the mask. If necessary you can use the other selection tool for straight lines, large areas etc. For tight places you may prefer to use the quick mask tool (lowercase q)
Take your time, you will get it. And like I said, using a mask will let you take a breather. It can help walking away for a bit. -

please help/adviceHi Steven,
Is the headset discoverable? The manual for the bluetooth headset should show you how to make it discoverable.
Does the iPhone see the headset?
This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1838 will walk you through the process of pairing the iPhone with bluetooth headsets.

Does the Lumia 822 work with ANY bluetooth headset...
I've got four different Samsung bluetooth headsets, and they all work great with other phones. I canNOT get them to work with my nokia though. They connect fine and seem to work, but once I'm on the phone for say, 45 minutes or so, they just stop working. The call is still connected, but its like the connection to the headset is lost. It THINKS its still connected, but I can't hear the other party and they can't hear me.
The phone needs to be restarted in order to get it working again. I sent the phone back to verizon, but the replacement is doing the exact same thing.hi mate,
the Portico update that has been announced to have rolled out to devices around the world as of last week, has addressed a lot of Bluetooth issues. you may wait for this, and contact your carrier Verizon, to see if they can give you a firmer date for when the update will be released to the public. -
A unique issue with my Bluetooth headset
I think my problem is unique
and I hope I can solve it asap. I've recently bought a Bluetooth headset ( LG BLUETOOTH
STEREO HEADSET HBS-730).
It worked perfectly on all devices, which provide Bluetooth feature, at home.
It even worked on LG computer (OS windows 7
home premium) perfectly. I
use Dell Inspiron model N5110 and windows home premium operating
system.
the problem is: when
I pair my BT headset with my computer I hear a perfect sound for few seconds then I begin to hear a broken up sound whatever I play or talk through. I used other type of BT headset but the same problem still there, what made me sure that the problem is from
my PC. wire headset work perfectly and the speakers of the computer as well. You need to ensure you have the latest Intel drivers for your wireless/bluetooth card. Have you replaced the wireless/Bluetooth card to see if that is the problem.
This is not a Windows 7 problem. It is either your wireless/Bluetooth adapter or the Intel wireless/Bluetooth drivers causing the problem. You need to take your system to a professional computer repair shop to have diagnostics performed on your
wireless/Bluetooth adapter card.

IPhone 6+ Muffled/Distorted audio cycles with a Bluetooth headset
While using Apps like Facetime, Skype and Viber there are moments or Cycles of Muffled audio from the Bluetooth headset ( tested on LG Tone Infinim HBS900)
The other party does not hear the muffling.
It seems like there is a cycle or may be some sort of sleep or battery saving mechanism which triggers on and causes this muffled audio.
Has anyone else experience this issue? It seems like 8.2 has fixed it but created a new problem "Facetime incoming calls default to Speakerphone while connected to Bluetooth".

Listening to Ipod Shuffle with Windows or other media player
Is there any way to listen to an Ipod Shuffle through any computer without the use of the Itunes software, like through Windows Media Player, Real player or Quicktime, simply by attaching the shuffle to the dock and usb port as a "removable hardware device?" I would also like to know why some downloaded songs stop in the middle of them and it quickly skips onto the next track/song? What is up with that? It's quite annoying.
Not with the iPod Shuffle dock, no.
iPods were designed to work w/ iTunes as an integrated hardware/software system. Maybe other, bigger, pods will do what you want, but the shuffle dock can only sync w/ the comp (exchange data) and charge the pod, it does not provide an audio connection to the comp via USB.
That said, if you use the appropriate cable w/ a 1/8" plug to connect a Shuffle to a comp, powered speakers, or stereo system, the pod will function as a music player just fine, but it will not charge while connected in that way.
When a Shuffle is in its dock and connected to a comp, if you 'play' its displayed contents in iTunes, the comp is actually playing the music files that reside on its hard drive, not the music files on the pod.
Regarding your 'skipping' song downloads, I suspect that the files were not fully downloaded. Is it always the same songs that don't finish and skip to the next song? Where were they downloaded from?
