ListViewWebPart has limited to 50 views item in Selected View drop-down property
Hello, we are currently in a context where we have over 70 view in one document library. When we add this document library into a custom webpart page, and choose "Modify Share Web Part". the "Selected View" drop down only contain the first 47 view + 4 default view. We are unable to chose view #48 to 70.
Does it exist any config to show more then 47 view in the "Selected View" drop down property of a "ListViewWebPart".
N.B.: We know 70 view is a lot, but we are in a context where we needs those 70 views and they are named a easy way so the end-user can easily choose from them.

Also having the same problem.
The views in the dropdown are sorted alphabetically so the first 50 are selectable.
A workaround:
- create a new view called aaa which is an exact copy of the view you want to display in the LVWP
- now select the aaa view in the LVWP to display

Over the weekend, we moved all of our room mailboxes over to Exchange. For users who have lots of room calendars open in their Outlook clients, they are getting the error message "Cannot Open the free/busy information. You Server Administrator has Limited
the Number of Items You Can Open Simultaneously" after the migration from Exchange 2010.
Restarting the Outlook client temporary fixes the problem, but the problem comes back after they access the calendars again.
The users impacted deal with a lot of room scheduling, so they have 30+ room calendars open in their Outlook clients.
I have tried setting up a throttling policy with unlimited RCA connections, but that didn't help.
I have seen with Exchange 2010 there were some registry keys people were setting on the server that pretty much makes everybody have unlimited connections, but that isn't ideal if's only affecting a few people.Hi,
Since this issue only occurs to a few users, I recommend you disable all the third-party applications on Windows, especially for the desktop search apps. Meanwhile, use Outlook safe mode to disable all the add-ins and check if the issue persists.
If the issue persists, you need to reset the value of Maximum Allowed Sessions Per User. Besides, we can't set it for only some specified users.

I have been downgrading back to 32.0.3, where this problem does not occur. Each time 33 has had a build update or a release update, I've gone ahead and let the update take place, then tried again, at which this problem came back. This has been the case with 33.0.2 and 33.0.3 as well.
I just went ahead and updated to the latest 33.1 release and found this problem still exists. Before downgrading once more back to 32.0.3, where this problem does not exists, I did a search, found this page, and followed the instructions set forth by ideato.
However, I have concerns. Generally, hardware acceleration is something that gets used for things like--oh I don't know, watching video? Why would hardware acceleration be used to display a drop down menu??? What is wrong with this picture? And why are there no problems whatsoever in 32, but this problem manifests in every build and release of 33?
I think there is a problem here that Firefox developers should look into more carefully. I don't think it's cool to behave dismissively toward users who have stuck with this product through thick and thin since it was still called Netscape.
So now that I've disabled hardware acceleration in Firefox, what other problems can I expect to manifest from having done so? -

Sofar I found the following code in the xhtml for Bulk Actions drop down list which adds the Bulk Actions drop down in the workspace.

I have Adobe Acrobat XI (ver 11.0.07). Adobe Help instructs me to find the document comparison command at "View > Compare Documents," however, this command does exist on my screen. My View drop-down list does not include a command for Compare Documents. Where else can I find this command?
What version of Acrobat do you have? This feature is only available in the Pro version, not in the Standard version.

Since upgrading to Firefox 4 I've been unable to select search items from the google drop down box in the toolbar. Instead, I have to retype my search item completely as I also unable to select 'auto-complete' items as they appear.

My Bookmarks category on the toolbar has a Trojan Horse logo on four of the drop down menu items.
I have a Mac G5 desktop with OX 10.5.8. My Safari browser was hacked by TH malware, and so I deleted it because it is too old to update to Mavericks.
I am now using Firefox. I see now that the trojan is embedded in my Bookmarks bar, on the drop down menu items. I'm am having trouble resetting Firefox, nor can I get the Malwarebytes that I downloaded to open and run. I have cleared the history, cookies, cache on my computer. I have also deleted Java, MSN, and the old email Mail and its settings from the hard drive.

I have no idea what the trojan is / was but there have been quite a few reports of pseudo ransomware. This demands money and makes it appear that Firefox is locked up. If you are lucky and have that sort of problem it is easy to get out of.

Appending a View to the existing Viewset on Selecting a Drop Down
Hi Expert,
I have a requirement like on Selecting Drop Down value in a view,
a new view has to be added at the bottom in existing view set.
Example
Drop down is Type of Business Partner
When I select 'Person'
a view containing fields like First Name and Last Name Should get added to the view set.
When I select 'Organization'.
a view containing fields like "Name of the Organization 1","Name of the Organization 2" Should be added to the view set instead of First Name and Last Name.

I seem to have lost the ability to select list view for my iTunes library. The choice for lst view doesn't even appear on the drop down when selectiogn "view". Any ideas? I recently enabled the cloud and subscribed to iTunes Match/ Any connection? Thanks/
See this thread for background on why iTunes can end up with duplicates and how they can be systematically removed. The script there is for Windows users and the "show duplicates" menus have moved around in iTunes 11, but the advice on clearing recently made duplicates should still hold.
As given in my older post "Reorganize library" is meant as a one time command to change the structure of a pre-iTunes 9 library into the newer layout that places music in its own subfolder of the media folder. Once used, if the option becomes available again that suggests that a file called .iTunes Preferences.plist in the media folder has been deleted or editied.

Change the display of the multiple Table items using a single Drop-down
I have created a Web Template in BEx WAD (BW 3.5) with 4 Tables assigned to 4 dfferent Queries. Now I want to change the display of the all the Four Tables based on the selection of display properties chosen in a single Dropdown item. The properties to be selected in the dropdown are like changing the Alternate style display of Rows, Suppress Alternate Style, Display only 30 Rows or 60 Rows.
Please help me in writing the script necessary to pass the command from the dropdown to all the Tables to get the desired output.

I tried using that option but again since we cannot give custom options in a drop-down,
I created a Form with a drop-down list of options like Suppress Result Rows, Suppress alternate style of rows, Display only 30 Rows, Display only 100 rows .. and so on.
Now I am able to change the display of my first table by selecting the options in the drop-down list. But my intention is to apply that selection to Multiple Tables.
How can I achieve that?

SP2010 Bug? Cannot change List View in Ribbon. List view drop down not responding?
In all of my Libraries I have 3-5 views (standard and custom), I cannot select them from the Ribbon thought, the drop down button does not respond when clicked (nothing happens):
When going with the mouse over the drop down button it shows "javascript:;" in the IE status bar.
The only way to change the view, for the moment, is to do it via Library Settings and set the selected view as default.
Is this a know issue? Is there any settings that I`m missing?

Have an onchange event in SPD to update a list based on user selection of data view drop down?
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction: I have a list for Media announcements, each one of these announcements will have various types of documents associated (via look up field in the doc library). I am trying to have a data form web part (dropdown)
as the selector (as I am not liking the SharePoint list filter feature) to have a user be able to select the Media Title, then it refreshes the three web parts on the page (1 for the announcement, then one for type1 docs and one for type 2 docs.)

Suppose you have one Announcements list and two Document Library in a page, then you want to add a Drop Down Menu(not the OOTB SharePoint List Filter Web Part) to filter the
three List View Web Part dynamically.
There will be two workarounds:
1. Use the OOTB “Connections” feature of the list to “Get Filter Values From” one of the three lists, then there will be a “Select” button in that list, we can click it to filter
other two lists/libraries. This is a way without code though we may not have the Drop Down Menu;
2. Add three <iframe> in a page, then add a Drop Down Menu in this page. Now, we will need some JavaScript to listen to the onchange event of this Drop Down Menu. We can
get the values populated in the Drop Down Menu from one of the column of one of the list, when making a selection in it, we can pass an URL with query strings to the three iframes which will show the three different lists or libraries.
The second way requires some code to interact with Client Object Model cause we need to get values from a list, some script to handle the onchange event, which seems more suit
with your need.

Adding a "blank" selection for drop-down menus under list items.
A lot of people on this form are accidentally selecting items that shouldn't be selected and need to be able to change the drop down menu back to blank if they have made a mistake and selected a wrong drop down item in the wrong area.

When you want to rest to blank, just simply set the rawValue to the value against the blank text.
For example if I add a blank text and assign a value "1" to it.
Then in the code I may use like below to rest it to Blank Text.

Apple support was just able to break the code on my inability to view the drop down menu bar using my mac mini. Here is the fix:
1. This will happen when using TVs instead of a computer monitor.
2. Go to the Systems Preference App, and open it.
3. Open the Display Icon under hardware.
4. Slide the underscan bar (in the direction of "more") to the right
5. Guess what appears at the top? The missing drop down menu.
Quick fix to a real frustrating problem. Thanks to Clint at Apple Support to know how to fix this in very little time.Hello,
1. Save the Data Model and exit from data model editor to Catalog.
2. Edit again the Data Model and now you should be able to view the parameters.
Because the Parameters were just created, are not loaded instantly so you need to save and edit again your data model.
