Little Arrows Don't Link to Music Store As Before

When I click on the little arrows next to the artist or album title in my library in iTunes 7 - Windows (on computer at work), it no longer takes me to the artist or album page in iTunes as before.
Now it takes me to the Search page, autofills all the information and tells me no such search exists.
When I click the song title, it takes me directly to an album where the song exists.
I like that little arrow search feature, but I'd like it to take me to the artist page or the album page, not to the search page.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Mac OS X (10.3.9)

I recreated the pages by going to file>new>page from template>site>template (choosing the correct site and there is only one template for this site at this time) then clicked create. Then changed to design view. I copied my content from the content field on the original page and pasted it onto the content field of my new page. I did a save as, and saved it to the same file name, calendar2010.html. I said yes to overwriting the old files. I then "put" those pages including the dependent files.,,,,, and nothing happens.
I repeated those steps for calendar2011.html without resolution as well.
I have done this several times over and it doesn't change. My dreamweaver files are correct, but the template information is not getting up the internet.

Little arrows by the side of music and playlists

Does anyone know how to remove those little arrows in iTunes 8? I could get rid of them in older versions but in the new version i can find that option. Does anyone know if its still available and how to do it? Thanks

To remove the genre column on windows:
1) Shutdown iTunes
2) Backup your prefs file
C:\Users\(youruser)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunesPrefs.xml
3) Edit the file in a real text editor that understands UNIX linefeeds (notepad++, ultraedit, vi, etc) and paste the following lines below the <dict> line under <key>User Preferences</key>:
<key>show-genre-when-browsing</key>
<data>
AA==
</data>
4) Start iTunes and you should be set.

To turn off the annoying store arrow links, paste in this:

Note: If you can't find where it says, "User Preferences", then do a "ctrl f" on it and it should take you right there. Oh, one more thing. Once you find the .xml file in my computer, just right click on it and select "edit". Once your done inputting the file, save it. and reopen windows. I just did it and it works perfectly.

How to link to Music Store?

How can i send somebody a link to a particular page on the iTunes Music Store?

When I browse the iTMS, and see something interesting, I just drag the right most name in the navigation bar to the desktop.
For example when it says [home]>Rock>The Rolling Stones>A Bigger Bang, I click on 'A Bigger Bang' and drag it to the desktop.
Double-clicking on it brings be right back to this page.
When imported in mail, it will give you the full URL.
I'm not sure if this works when sending to another person (never tried).

Links for Music Store Images, songs

I have a 86 techlogies filter at work, I am trying to unblock iTunes links and songs because I get a blank image and can not purchase songs anyone know the direct links or any idea so I can unblock them?

This is an old post, but someone downloaded standalone QT and installed that. That fixed the weird black boxes in the store.

Music Store shuts down (Still)

For over a month now, I have not been able to axcess the Itunes music store from this computer (Persario 2100 Window XP) I tunes seems to work fine until I click link for music store / I can see the store loading in the Itunes message window on the progress bar, however as the progess bar reaches the end the entire Itunes program shuts down. I believe I tryed every helpful hint listed in the help files and posted in these discussion, I just purchased a new Ipod for my son and use his disk to install the newest version, however nothing seem to work.
Help Help Help!! this is driving me nuts.

Well the USA store is up and running, I just accessed it now at roughly 2:30 am Eastern Time (11:30PM Pacific time).
Theres something blocking you or something not set right on your PC or connection. Just to cover the basics do this....
1) Goto control panel>add and remove and uninstall iTunes AND quicktime. Then go here and roll down to "Clean up iTunes installer files on the computer" http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93976
Scan the PC for malware with Ewido http://www.ewido.com
Then disable your antivirus and security programs and goto apple.com to download/install the latest version.
2) Try disabling programs one at a time and then try accessing the store. Disable your firewall and try, if that doesn't work disable antivirus and try again ect ect...
3) If you are connecting to the net thru a router or some device, try (If you can) connecting your internet connection directly to the PC instead of thru the router/device
4) UPDATE, goto Microsote/windows update site and make sure windows is up to date. Goto the PC makers site and manually look for updates to your PC model, Make sure your internet browser is up to date, If your connecting thru a router goto the routers web site and make sure it has the latest firmware updates. If you have a router that came from your ISP (Internet Service Provider) ask them or look on there site for firmware updates for the router

How to Remove the iTunes Music Store Arrow?

OK, I may be totally missing something, but how do you get the little arrow (that now shows up next to songs, albums, artists,etc) to disappear? I can't do it in view (only manages columns) or preferences or music store...
annoying to have my homemade tracks/obscure stuff come up with that little arrow...no you're not going to have it in the itunes music store....

How to create a link to album in Itunes Music Store?

How is this done? Would like to send someone a link to a specific album so they can purchase & download it.

Easy. Find the album or track in iTunes Music Store, then control-click (or right-click if you have a two-button mouse). One of the options you'll see is "Copy iTunes Music Store URL". Then go to your email (or chat window, etc.) and hit Command-V to paste.

Airtunes? I assume you mean iTunes match? The little cloud symbols?
If so, you need to make sure it is turned on in your phone and in your computer.

Link to iTunes music store from a web page created in iWeb

Is there a way to create a link to the iTunes music store from a web page made in iWeb. I'd like to make a list of songs, and link each one to the song on the music store.

Sure, you can link your own music .mp3 files this way...but it doesn't go directly to your music library. What you would do is to have a copy of your music file saved to the desktop. Then make a link to file (one of the options in the Inspector Hyperlink tab) to this music file. When you publish your page, a copy of the music file will be uploaded to your site as well...so that people clicking on the link that you made can download the file.
You can also drag in your music file to iWeb and use QT to play the music file on your webpage.

Change behaviour of Music Store arrows

I found a nice tip where if you Ctrl click on the Music Store arrows, iTunes will filter on that item in your library and not take you to the Music Store. The tip also described how to permantently toggle the behaviour, so a normal click will filter, and ctrl click goes to the Music Store... only problem, the solution was for Macs.
Anyone know how to do the same for Windows?

I know of that trick.
It's actually a modification of a boolean property in the preferences file.
On the Mac it's quite easy to change that kind of preferences with a tool called Property List Editor.
I guess there must be a similar tool for Windows, but I'm not aware of it.
On the Mac, the property is called invertStoreLinks
Default, it is not present, but some smart guy wrote an Applescript to add and/or modify it.
The Windows equivalent of the preferences file is called iTunes.pref and located at \Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes.
If iTunes for Windows works the same and you can find a tool to edit the preferences file, you might be in business.

Aol mail works, but aol videos don't. also, aol stays on page 1 of day's news stories. arrows don't work.

AOL opens as usual, but I can't move from page 1 of the day's news stories. The arrows don't work and the bar at the top says: aol.com/#. AOL videos go to "connecting." but don't play. My AOL mail account works fine. There are no AOL problems using IE.
Problems started 2 days ago. I'm a low-tech sort, but have tried various fixes suggested in the help section. Currently using Firefox 9.0.1 with Adobe and Silverlight plug-ins. No add-ons. No known (to me) changes 2 days ago that could have caused this. What's the fix? Please advise.

When I choose the Music Store from iTunes I access the German store... closer to home, Australia, would be good. Any suggestions would be appreciated

The songs don't show up on music store

when i go to the music store and try to find music it won't show songs in the album. for example if i want good charlotte and it says top downloaded songs i'll click on one of them and it dosn't show anything it's just blank where you would normally see songs its just blank. plz, plz, plz tell me how to fix it!

Try iTunes menu View > Column Browser > Show Column Browser.
What "little arrow"?

This may seem basic, but I just discovered that I do not have a share button (the thing with the little arrow popping out) to the left of my address bar on my Mac. I do have one on my IPad and really like it. Why don't I have this on my Mac?
