Little problem, the skip button is facing the wrong way!

as you can see, on the quick access thing in windows 7, the skip button is facing the wrong way. an unusual problem, doesn't affect the funtion of the button. dont know if anyone else is having this problem, might just require a new install.
let me know if this is just me! or any suggestions?

WRT the skipping crashes,  there was some posts, that the earlier iPod Classic do crash, when playing song of this format
mp3/mono/96kbps
Check if your iPod contains these MP3 format.

  • Dialog box: "you removed the device the wrong way"

iMac + 30 gig iPod. New Mac user here.
Everytime I start iTunes (by plugging in my iPod), I get the dialog box telling me that I removed my iPod the wrong way and may have lost data. How can I get that dialog box to stop showing up?
By the way, I always hit the little eject button next to my iPod's name before unplugging it from my computer. Not sure why this keeps popping up. It started after I updated to the latest iTunes software.
    Thanks in advance!

Well, at the time I was leaving for college. There, I met a girl who inconveniently dragged me around the country for fifteen years. But we're moving to Boston this summer, so we're getting closer.
I had a similar issue a while ago, and fixed it by just wiping my iPod, doing a Software Restore, and re-syncing it with my library. It wasn't exactly the same (iTunes thought the iPod was connected even when it wasn't), but if something on the iPod is stuck in "I was disconnected improperly!" mode it might help.

Try plugging it into a computer with iTunes opened. If you see anything that says restore, say no.
Sometimes these issues resolve themselves when you connect the device to iTunes.
What happens when you hold the home and sleep/wake button? I know it doesn't work, but does it shut off at all?

  • Photos keep appearing the wrong way round in slideshow!

Photos which I imported from my old macbook (running 10.4) onto my new imac (10.5.8) keep appearing the wrong way round or stretched out when I play them as part of a slideshow even though in the library they appear fine. Can anyone tell me how to fix this please?
    Thanks

Yes the plist file is important, but next time you start iPhoto it will create a brand new one.
This file records various user settings - like the background colour, for instance. If you trash it then when iPhoto re-creates it it simply returns things to the factory default settings.
Trashing the plist file is troubleshooting 101.
Also don't understand what you mean by "If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again"
By default, your iPhoto Library lives in your Pictures Folder. That's where iPhoto looks for it. If you've moved the Library - and I'm guessing you haven't - then you need to tell iphoto where you moved it to. Why? Because that's a setting recorded in the plist file.

  • Hide button bug, feature or doing it the wrong way ??

    Hi All,
I'm trying to hide a button via a dynamic action. I've changed the template to include the button attrributes and given the button an ID to reference this in my dynamic action ( DOM Object name = button id ) and also applied this template to the button.
This always seems to work fine until :
If I have a button with position "top and bottom of the region" and in the dynamic action this is the only Dom object which I reference in the hide action.
When I do this only 1 instance of the button gets hidden, the one on the bottom of the region is still shown....
I am able to bypass this by adding another dummy DOM object name to the line of reference Dom objects in the dynamic action ( so the DOM object which is hidden is reference as "button_id,dumm" ), the dummy does not exist but adding this string to the line seems to fix it.
Am I missing something or is this a bug ?
    Ciao
    Bas
    btw this is apex 4.02

When you choose the display position as "top and bottom" , there are two button elements rendered with same properties(that you specify for the button properties.)
If you have two page elements with the same ID(which is a bad practice anyway) ,accessing the DOM using the ID directly will pick only one of them(the first found in DOM, I think) , this is the same behaviour with $x , document.getElementById or jQuery $('#..) methods too and is nothing special about apex.
You can either change the selector to jQuery and jQuery selctor as
[id="button id"]The proper way would be to give it a name attribute or a class property using the "button attributes" field and use an appropriate selector.

  • Time value not at all or in the wrong way send to the BAPI Trip Create From

    Hi @ all,
I try to call a BAPI by sending besides a couple of other parameters, which are working fine, two times values. Those times are required for creating a (Business-) Trip within SAP. This BAPI requests the time values in the format time (E).
But it seems not possible for me to send the time values to the BAPI. If I look into the Flash-Debugger I see that the values are empty or including Dates. For sure I'd a look on the right formattings this meens the Input-Fields are declared as Time (E) and connected in the right way.
If I test the BAPI with the function "Test Data Service" the time values are sent in the right way. So this means to me that there must be a problem within VC by transporting the Input values to the BAPI. Also if I try to send the system time by using the TNOW() function the flash-debugger shows that VC is sending a Date like 31.12.1989 or 20.01.2009. It also makes no difference if I change the Formatting of the input field I alredy tried the most of them.
I'm really sure that the input fields are declared as Time (E).
    I'm thankfull for any advice...

This means you're still using Flex 1.5 as your runtime. SAP has introduced Flex 2 RT on SP14 patch 1 onwards. There were a lot of bug fixes and also several new functionality introduced there. I suggest you consider upgrading to the latest SP. Note that you can upgrade VC apart from the portal (only 3 SCAs to deploy) so this means you don't impact the portal itself and continue to have an up-to-date version of VC.
If you want to solve your problem, I suggest you open a support ticket at SAP and once they see this, they'll let you have those SCAs.

    Natty

  • My Firefox synced the "wrong way" and I need to recover my bookmarks.

On Wednesday I opened Firefox on my WORK computer (PC) after a long hiatus and it recommended I refresh Firefox since I hadn't used it in so long. It said it would preserve all my bookmarks, etc. Did so, everything was fine.
Yesterday I logged on to Firefox on my HOME computer (Mac) and then about a minute later my very detailed Bookmarks toolbar started to change and is missing tons of bookmarks and looks completely/different disorganized. I logged onto Firefox sync hoping it would look like my WORK computer again but it did not.
Today I'm back on my WORK computer. I logged into sync since I guess the refresh on Wednesday had logged me out. And now my WORK computer looks like the same bookmark mess as my HOME computer. I wanted it to sync the other way around - make my HOME computer look like my WORK computer!
How can I get my bookmarks back and make that happen?
    Thank you!

You can disconnect Sync and restore the bookmarks from a backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.
*Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Restore

  • The "@" and the " are the wrong way round? how do I change it

When using the keyboard and press the key for @ you end up with " and visa versa, so you press " you end up with @, anyone know why, this is a new Imac and I an new to Apple.

There are lots of different keyboard layouts depending on which country you are in. For instance, if I am using a US keyboard and I use the Language and Text system preference pane to switch my Input Source to German then I end up with the " when I press the key that has the '@' on it. Other characters also don't match up right.
The first step is to determine which keyboard you physically have, then compare it to the various virtual keyboard layouts available. I suggest opening the Language & Text System Preferences, and enable the Keyboard & Character View option in the Input Sources section. This will add a small icon to the upper right section of your menu bar next to the date/time. The Keyboard Viewer acts like a virtual keyboard which you can then compare to the actual keyboard you are typing on. Verify that the 'Input Sources' information is properly configured for your style keyboard and language. If you somehow ended up with the wrong keyboard then I would give Apple a call.

  • Dag failed the wrong way??

Thanks for reading my question. We have a main site and a DR site. I'm running a single exchange server in the main site for ~120 users. I created an exchange server in our DR site, removed the default database from that site and created a DAG failover
with the main site primary. I also had a file witness in the main site thinking that if the link between sites failed the two parts at the main site would keep those up, only if the primary server failed would it fail to the DR.
Long story short, we lost the MPLS link due to a fiber cut.  Instead of keeping the primary active, the DR site kicked in and the primary failed to stay online.  We had to scramble to foreceably remove the DAG to get back up and working at the
    main site.
I now need to rebuild this in a way that works as I want:  With the primary and file witness in the main site, did I do something wrong to make this fail in what I thought was the improbable way?  Is there a better architecture to accomplish this?
    Thanks!
    Jim

For a stretched DAG across a WAN, you should implement DAC mode and disable the DR server from automatic db activation. If needed, use a datacenter switchover technique which requires you to manually bring the DR server online.

  • Photosmart all i one 7520 Printing problems the wrong scale the printout

I will print covers for DVD cases. Have done it before from two different programs to my previous photosmart printer without problems. Now since I change the Photosmart All in One 7520 will be reduced format in both height and width. A degradation of the picture takes place.

    Hello there @AgnetaL
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand you are facing some issues when printing DVD cases from your Photosmart 7520.
I would recommend checking the printers specifications, as this unit may support different sizes, paper types, etc than the previous printer did.
Here is the link for you to get to the: Printer Specifications for the HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer Series
If there is still an issue, let me know which programs you have tried printing from, which paper size and type you are using, and which troubleshooting steps you have tried already.

  • IPod Classic's Back & Forward Button Work The Wrong Way

As I was clicking through the podcast episodes on my new iPod Classic 120GB I had to find out that if I wanted to go forward one episode I had to click the back button because if I clicked the forward button it would take me to the previous episode.
Also when I finish listening to a podcasts episode it does not jump to the next episode but to the previous episode.
I looked at the settings of the iPod but didn't find any options that would change the behavior of the iPod. I also thought it might be a sorting issue but I couldn't find anything that would change this either, nor could I find any setting in iTunes.
Is there a problem with my settings or a problem with the iPod itself?

    +"It's not a fault, it's a feature"+
Well it's a very strange feature!
Seriously, iTunes and the iPod catch and play Podcasts much better than some other Podcast Catchers and MP3 players I've tried but this is one of the few strange "features" about the Podcast capability of the iPod that let it down. Working on the philosophy that "even if you are ahead, don't stop trying to improve" Apple should at least consider the following:
    1. User facility to reverse the play order of Podcasts
    2. An indication that only part of a Podcast episode has been played (in addition to the existing blue {unplayed} spot)
    3. Indication of the "episode time" in the menu, (so that I know if I have enough time to listen to that episode. One programme can have episodes of very different lengths.)
... and yes, I have put these in as suggestions.

Looking at the picture it looks like it may have been changed from the when the picture was taken, but I can confirm that my remote has a button config like yours (thinking about it, it may be that they thought volume should be on the top of the remote, which does make sense to me).JeremyMessage Edited by Jeremy-CL on 04-0-2005 07:47 PM
Purely out of curiousity, I wonder why that is... I mean, I too have noticed that it seems to be the case for portable device wired remotes. It was that way with my old Sony minidisc too.
    Anybody know?
