Little white dialog boxes - no data.

I'm getting little white dialog boxes all the way across the screen that contain no data when using Safari. They can be closed and expanded and seem to appear infrequently.
Any idea what they are?
Thank you for responses.

I'd start by setting Safari - Preferences - Extensions to Off & seeing if that makes any difference.

  • Ordering Prints from Shutterfly - Blank White Dialog Box

    I am trying to order some prints through Photoshop Elements using Shutterfly.
    I select my prints I want to order, hit order prints from shutterfly.
    A white dialog box appears overtop of Photoshop elements where I can login to shutterfly.
    I successfully login, select my photos, select the recipient, and get to the part where it tells me the cost.  I hit next and the dialog box turns white with nothing in it
    I have flash player and java installed.  In my resource manager I can see it trying to talk to shutterfly, but it quickly drops to no traffic being sent/receive
    Even if I wait a good amount of time the white box never fills with a way for me to pay or anything like that.
    Can anyone help me with this issue?
    Thanks

    Do the following :
    Log in to shutterfly website
    Go to My Account and edit Billing Information.
    Launch PSE and proceed with print workflow.
           The shutterfly service will now pick up the billing information and there will be no 'blank screen'

  • Mavericks and Photoshop CC - blank white dialog boxes.

    On Mavericks.  I'm getting white blank dialog boxes in Photoshop CC. Doesn't happen right away. It lets me work for a limited time then I get the blank boxes and can only Force Quit.  I don't use Suitcase but I do have a Wacom. iMac.

    this is what WACOM responded to me:
    Dear Felix,
    We are sorry for the problem, but we cannot see such a problem in our tests. The PS menus are displayed
    by Photohop and the graphics driver. The tablet is technically not in any way involved in showing any menus.
    Nevertheless we have tested it here and unfortunately we cannot reproduce such a problem, neither in
    Photoshop Elements nor in Photoshop CC. We have customers complaining about lags in Photoshop under
    Maverick, but those customers do not have seen any problem with the display of menus. So not evryone has
    problems with displaying the menus, but might depend on graphics cards or other system parameters.
    As it is a wrong behaviour of Photoshop and not the tablet, the problem needs to be reported and
    reproduced by Adobe. Adobe developers have Wacom tablets and are in close contact with Wacom.
    If they can see a problem related to the Wacom driver, they can get direct assistance from us.
    So far we can only recommend to update the graphics driver and update Photoshop. Perhaps you need
    to uninstall and re-install Photoshop. We also recommend to set Photoshop preferences for the pointer
    to ‘standard cursor’ and not to ‘precise cursor’. If it is on a multi-monitor configuration we suggest to disable
    the option in Mission Control for ‘displays use separate spaces’. This is known to have problems with some
    graphics cards.
    Kind regards

  • Why does mouse suddenly begin showing little white option box I don't need?

    Hi...going from my trusty (albeit simple) lil eMac to my PMG5Quad has an odd side effect that causes me much complication when I am trying to edit.
    The mouse (for a reason I really can't discover) will suddenly begin giving me an information box full of options I don't need at the time. I then can't continue to edit,of course.And can't figure out how to get it to stop without unplugging it completley and then plugging it in again. I'd love to know what I am doing (if anything) to trigger this interesting,but for me untimely convenience. Thanks,Kate

    If you are familiar with the way the Mighty Mouse works - then read no further.
    It could be that you are clicking the mouse with your finger on the right side of the scroll-ball which is the right "button" and is enough for the 'Mighty Mouse' to think it's a 'right-click' and bring up the 'control-click' options box.
    You could either try to keep your finger away from the area to the right front of the scroll-ball or keep both fingers on both right and left 'buttons' until you do want to right-click and then you have to lift your left finger away from the mouse.
    This takes a long time to say and it's probably not the problem, but anyway...

  • Internet videos with little white box in middle

    When viewing videos on the Internet I keep getting a little white box with Adobe Flash Player on top and an unknown company asking permission to download on my computer with an option to Accept or Deny on the bottom.  When hitting the Deny button it does not go away.  How do I permanently stop these boxes from appearing?

    Is Flash disabled on your Mac?
    See in each Browser which version of Flash it thinks it has...
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html
    Out-of-date versions of Adobe Flash Player do not include the latest security updates and will be disabled to help keep your Mac secure. If Safari 5.1.7 or Leopard Security Update 2012-003 detects an out-of-date version of Flash Player on your system, you will see a dialog informing you that Flash Player has been disabled. The dialog provides the option to go directly to Adobe's website, where you can download and install an updated version of Flash Player.
    Additional Information
    If you need to re-enable an out-of-date version of Flash Player, you can do the following:
        1.    Navigate to the /Library/Internet Plug-Ins (Disabled) folder.
        2.    Drag "Flash Player.plugin" into /Library/Internet Plug-Ins.
        3.    If the browser is running, quit and restart it.

  • Display document data in dialog box

    I am using a folder level script to do the following:
    Get a specific XMP field value from an open PDF file:
    this.info.InDesignFileName
    Define a dialog box
    Create a menu item that calls the dialog box
    But for the life of me, I cannot get the dialog creation function to populate the XMP value into a static text item.
    The function below is modified from the example right out of the Acrobat Javascript API Reference.
    var inDesignNameDialog = {
    initialize: function (dialog) {
    // store InDesignFileName XMP
    //var indfn = this.info.InDesignFileName
    // Create a static text containing the current date.
    /*var todayDate = dialog.store()["date"];
    todayDate = "Date: " + util.printd("mmmm dd, yyyy", new Date());
    dialog.load({ "date": todayDate });
    var todayDate = dialog.store()["indfn"];
    currFN = "Date: " + this.info.InDesignFileName;
    dialog.load({ "indfn": currFN });
    commit:function (dialog) { // called when OK pressed
    var results = dialog.store();
    // Now do something with the data collected, for example,
    console.println("Your name is " + results["fnam"]
    + " " + results["lnam"] );

  • CS3 Data Merge - Missing Fileds in Data Merge Dialog Box

    Indesign CS3 5.0.1, XP SP2
    Hi all,
    I have a document that I have applied a Data Merge to.
    I use a table in Excel 2003 with contact details, name, address etc...
    When I open the Automation> Data Merge Dialog box I no longer see the list off all the fields as in Excel.
    However, I can preview and create the mail merged document and place items using tags e.g <<Field 1>>.
    When I try to remove the Data Source InDesign always crashes But I can relink to a new Data Source, this does not solve the problem.
    Thank-you all for your time and help!
    Alu

    >>Did you perform the merge? Once you do, ID creates a new document. Which document are you looking at?
    I am using the original document, not the product of the mail merge.
    >>I assume it's a CSV file. ID can't use and Excel file for data merge.
    Correct.
    I have tried saving the document as an .inx file and then re-opening, but I still cannot view the .csv data merge fields from the Automation> Data Merge dialog box.
    Any Ideas? - thx for the response Bob & K

  • Should the web page address be included in the file name in the meta data dialog box?

    In the page properties > meta data > below is a field with the label file name: (the the area to type in the field), after the field, it is labeled .html.
    I have 2 questions here.
    1. If I type in http//:www (my page url), do I include .html at the end? I didn't know if this is automatically added because it is off to the side of the field?
    2. If I type in the entire URL address: http//:www (etc, etc).html,    after closing the page properties dialog box, I make it a habit to double check my work. What happens is the http//:www.xxx changes to (htttpwww.xxx). It drops the //: on the URL.
    So would it be better to just type in www.xxx (without the http//:www.xxx)
    and do you type in the .html at the end?
    I am assuming this will help with SEO page ranking or at least makes it easier for the search engines to crawl your site??
    I hope this makes sense.
    Advise would be very helpful.
    Ben

    You are absolutely correct with the URL Ben. Taking your above example, you just need to type in "Services" in the file name and the webpage will be exported as services.html and the URl will be  www.xyz.com/services.html.
    All the webpages (be it parent page or child page) gets physically saved at the root directory of your website on the server (where your website resides).
    This name is just the name of the file using which it is physically stored and called from the server. It does not help search Engines to crawl deeper inside the website.
    As I explained, "name which you wants the .html file to be stored with" here means the name of the physical file which is getting saved on the server.
    Most users leave the file name same as Page name. If you have it different from page name then this will be the workflow :
    Page Name : About
    File Name : test
    domain : www.mysite.com
    Now if you are  using a Menu Widget, it will list "About" in the Menu. And when end user will click on "About" then it will call the file named "test.html" from the server location (where all the files of your website are stored).
    And it will open a page with address "www.mysite.com/test.html"
    Hope I am able to explain the concept of File Name here. Please let us know if you have further queries on this.
    Regards,
    Sachin

  • Problem of Date format in Parameter dialog box

    This problem happen In Crystal XI but not in version 8.5. When a parameter dialog box showing up it provides a calander for users to select a date. When the user select a date from the calander the prompt alway return a date in the format of (yyyy-mm-dd) regardless of whatever we set in the Windows's "Regional Settings". In our region we set date as dd-mm-yyyy.
    When we edit the date in the parameter field box to dd-mm-yyyy and click OK the prompt complains and says "the date should be in the format of "yyyy-mm-dd"". Why?. Could Business Objects or anyone let me know is there a way to edit option. In our regional our clients are used to with the date format of dd-mm-yyyy.
    Thanks,
    Robert

    Thank Sastry,
    With an IT professional or a computer expert it does not seem to be a matter as they understand this is just another way to write date but many of our clients already used to with the dd-mm-yyyy and they are not American. If you say this was by design howcome in CR 8.5 the date in this dialog box follows the format in the regional settings. In CR 8.5 when you change date format in regional setting it reflect immediately in the parameter box. Asume what you say is true I would like to ask Business Objects that this is a backward development or just a way to purse every one in this world to follow the American style.
    Come back to the parameter box. Our clients have used our software that uses CR 8.5 for many years. Not all but many of them just type in the date directly to the box. If this can't be fixed how will our support staff tell our customers? I would like to hear something from Business Objects.

  • Best Way to Pop-Up Dialog Box Based on Form Data

    Hi,
    I'm using InfoPath 2010 to create a submission form in SharePoint 2010.  During the form submission process I'd like to pop up a dialog box if the difference between today's date and the service request date (which is provided by the user) is less than
    7 days.  The user only has to acknowledge the dialog box.  What is the best way to accomplish this?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi,
    What is the kind of your form : InfoPath (with InfoPath client on the machine) or InfoPath Form Services (web browser)?
    Is this is a an InfoPath form, you can add an action on a button of type "Show message". You can add too a condition on this.
    If you use InfoPath Form Services, there is two solution:
    - Use managed code to call an alert javascript where you respect your condition,
    - Create a new InfoPath View with the message and add an action "swith view" when you click on the button if you respect your condition.
    Hope this help.
    HI! Could you clarify please, how the 'Switch view' action could be called? I don't see such an option within Rules setup at Infopath 2010.

  • Inoperable little white box obscures all web videos

    What is the inoperable little white box that obscures all my web videos?
    For example, upon searching for "Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook”, and clicking on “360 degree [video] tour”, there appeared a maddening little white box with the following message: “Adobe Flash Player Settings. Local Storage. AppAsset.AppStudio.Kitd.com is requesting permission to store information on your computer. Requested up to: 10KB. Currently Used: 0 KB [Download [icon], “Allow” or “Deny”]” None of the three choices are active links and therefore do not work. The little white cannot be removed without terminating the desired video. Every time it comes up it almost completely obscures the video that I am interested in (on U-Tube or in the advertisement).
    If this is an Adobe device, it needs to be fixed immediately because it does not work! Or, is it an internet bug which may damage my PC’s operations?
    My PC is a HP Paviolion dv3-2150us Entertainment Notebook PC running Windows 7. The problem has been recurring for one week.

    Sorry about that - I didn't know any better. First time on the Adobe forum. Later I did realize the error and posted it also on the Adobe Flash Player forum, hopefully the correct one. I don't know how or if I can remove this incorrect posting. If you have the privilege to remove it, please do so with my thanks. Or clue me in, and I will do it immediately.
