I have recently bought a new Ipod Touch 16g with the 2.2 software. I went on the mail app but I just do not get how I am suppose to enter my account info. I have a friend that has one and is live.ca account is program on it, he can send and receive e-mail on his Ipod and he do not pay for that. Could someone help me to program my live.ca account.
P.S. He did not jailbreak his Ipod

Delete Gmail from my Apple ID

Hey,
I really wanted to have a clear Apple ID. Only with my mail adresses from Apple. That means I wanted to delete my account on Google and start using only iCloud or Me.com mail adresses. Is there any option to delete my primary mail adress from [email protected] and switch to my [email protected] or [email protected] ? If you understand me, I don't want to have any gmail account in my Apple ID. Is it possible or I need to live with this primary adress, even I will delete it near future?

Your best bet would be to try resetting the password to the account that you would like to use via iForgot
Once you log in to that account change the email address to anything, it can even be fake its just a placeholder
After you do that you will be free to change your old email address on your appleID to the new one that is now free to be used as it is no longer attached to the other account.

HT1926 How can i run a german and an english itunes account on ONE iphone/pad. Have in each country my own adress and bank account and to each adressa different email.

In both countries i have a proper adress and bank account. I am registered with itunes in germany but need also to buy English Apps.
So I started an english App account, with valid english adress and credit card on the same device where the German one is installed
Means can I have 2 accounts on one and the same advice? Seems

You can set up your iCloud account on your iOS device under: "Settings > iCloud" and a other account for store purchases under "Settings > iTunes & App Stores". Unfortunately merging accounts is not possible but you could transfer all of your music manually via iTunes from your Mac or PC.

ICal is not a product that lives to Apple's standard

I am an Apple fan and have been so since 1984. I define my self as a difficult user to satisfy an happily most of Apple's products satisfies me very much. iCal's is a rare exception that I find limited and short of featuresand. I find that this product does not live to Apple's usual standards. Since PalmDesktop is a good product that has existed for many years, I don't understand that iCal does not integrate more of it's features.
I have been using PalmDesktop for 5 years and feel this product is great. For sure there is probably some more customising that Apple could do to fit it's need, but I feel 95% of this product is great, simple and customisable.
iCal is short of great features and does not integrate the features we need when we have to organize our daily life. iCal is missing (short list of thiese missings, and I could add more if I thought that it could change something):
a real task management module like PD's one
a fast memo module that would be syncronized automatically with my PDA
a upgrade path from the most used PDA, the PALM device (task from PD software cannot be exported to iCal's limited task module, there is no memo module)
an adress book display that you can customize by department ...
... and the list could continue.
To my point of view iCal is limited and is not a great product ... But as I love what Apple does, and the look and feel of there product, I have tired hard to find a workaround to all my problems, without success. A simple post concerning the possibility to export my task from PD was never answered, and no ressources where found on the net to help.
Am I the only Apple fan to feel this way about iCal ??? Most of Apple's work is simply genious, but iCal's not.

I think most of us agree that iCal is not as good as it should be, and like you, I used and loved PD even before it was PD; I actually paid for it when it was Claris Organizer and I'd pay again if it was updated (you do know that it was owned by Apple at one time, right?).
I am waiting for Chronos SOHO Organizer, the successor to Chronos Personal/Group Organizer, a product close to PD in functionality. And it will have group features. Alternatively, I expect iCal 3 to be a big improvement, but I'm not waiting if SOHO proves worthwhile (they say they'll integrate iCal, Address Book, etc.). I still use PD as nothing can replace it yet.
re Tasks from PD to iCal: I suspect folks didn't have an answer, but a reply saying that is helpful so at least you know someone is listening. I don't have an answer either as you can see iCal only imports vcal, vcard, and Entourage data, and PD doesn't export To Do's in those formats. A workaround would be to sync PD with a Palm, then sync the Palm with iCal. I don't know how well this works typically but I'm sure some folks here could tell you, or you could ask at the iSync discussion.

Xbox live to macbook pro

I was wondering if there was any way i could connect my xbox to my macbook pro which is connected wirelessly to the internet trhoughg a router, and get xbox live to work. It says my IP ADRESS is failing.

Does your current router not have a built-in hub that you could plug your XBox into? You're essentially trying to connect your XBox to the Internet with two routers (your MacBook and your regular router) in between and this can certainly cause problems. But it's probably not impossible.
The only way to do this is to enable Internet Sharing in Apple menu --> System Preferences... --> Sharing --> Internet. Since your MacBook Pro only has one wireless and one Ethernet port each you'll have to share from one to the other. However, if you're using the Ethernet port for your Internet connection you'll have to use wireless on your XBox. Does it have wireless? A simple Ethernet hub will not work in this configuration.
The easiest and cleanest solution is to purchase a router with a built-in hub or a wireless router with a hub. They're relatively inexpensive (less than $50.00).

I have a problem. I sync my iphone 3G 2.1 software with my outlook.
The problem is that the iphone doesn´t come with too many options (perhaps I have to say only with a few) countries in Latin America. Since this, I cannot add people that live in Peru, nor in Chile etc.
On the other hand, all my contacts that have adress in that countries, are shown in the iphone incompleted, I mean, as if don´t have an adress.
Would you please help me?

In fact, the functions that you need to call as well as the order are information which are specific to the DLL that you would like to use. In the DLL, you will find basic functions and if you want to realize some complex behaviors, you will have to look into the documentation of the DLL (on Microsoft site here) in order to know which ones you will need to associate (put together).
If you wish, you can try to contact Microsoft to help you but LabVIEW is not related to this first stage.
Then, once you will have found out which functions to use, you will have to choose the right datatypes to fit with Microsoft's datatypes. And the documents that Junior provided you here will help you to do this.

I got an update request from adobe, then i lost my cleal print and amazon wish list acsses on the adress bar

bar i tried to reinstall [earlier versions] firefox. adobe installed a pdf app totally frustrated HELP!!!
i think not sure version 12? ihad recently dowloaded photoshop etc about 20 adobe programs. for the last year i had the amazon wish add on which manifest to the rt of the arrows, and lft of the adress box.
additionally the kodak clean print icon to rt of the amazon icon. a pop up widow appeared requesting
an up grade for a pdf adobe program. as these update windows are as common as can be i complied it asked to restart, ok but when firefox rebooted it was a new version 19. the navigation bar had morphed
the lft end was a circle with the address box running directly off the circle to the rt to the goggle search box. so there was no place for the amazon wish/ and clean print icons to live. and on the rt an adobe pdf icon had pushed the homepage icon to the right this app promised to covert any page to a pdf file, i went to tools and disabled 3 adobe add ons/ lost the pdf icon. i then tried to reinstall the amazon wish list add on
got a message blocked by firefox/ hit allow restart then back to square one blocked by fire fox theclean print will also not reinstall??????/

Hyper-V Failover Cluster Live migration over Virtual Adapter

Hello,
Currently we have a test environment 3 HyperHost wich have 2 Nic teams. LAN team and team Live/Mngt.
In Hyper-V we created a Virtual Switch (Wich is Nic team Live/Mngt)
We want to seperate the Mngt and live with Vlans. To do this we created 2 virtual adapters. Mngt and Live, assigned ip adresses and 2 vlans(Mngt 10, Live 20)
Now here is our problem: In Failover cluster you cannot select the Virtual Adapter(live). Only the Virtual Switch wich both are on. Meaning live migration simple uses the vSwitch instead of the Virtual adapter.
Either its not possible to seperate Live migration with a Vlan this way or maybe there are Powershell commands to add Live migration to a Virtual adapter?

It can be done in PowerShell but it's not intuitive.
In Failover Cluster Manager, right-click Networks and you'll find this:
Click Live Migration Settings and you'll find this:
Checked networks are allowed to carry traffic. Networks higher in the list are preferred.

Unable to add person to adress book after messenger update failed

Hi;
Since three days i can not add new person to m adress book.It started after failure of Windows Live Messenger update.After new update has dropped into my box i tried to get updated version.ut the screen has frozen.After get the battery out from the machine to turn to the normal my problem has started.I applied to Vodafone technical desk.But they said this is Blackberry general problem and known as yours.Do you have any solutions for that? I can not add anybody into my adressbook.And this makes me trouble when i try to find the person who i met new.Can you pls help me?

Try the following:
Simply delete all the Messenger apps (Yahoo, MSN or Live) which you might have upgraded recently / delete apps which were recently installed before the error which actually started occuring .
After that unplug the battery while the phone is still "on" and restart the phone.
In fact I had deleted a whole bunch of apps to facilitate my OS upgrade as I did not have enough memory on my Device.
This not only helped solve my above mentioned problem but also made my phone restart in less than 3 minutes (the earlier reboot was done in not less than 15 minutes !!).
Therefore my conclusion as from the above incidents is to keep your apps in the bare minimum so that your phone performs to the best.

Change of Country in the adress

I have tryed LR 5.3 and now I want to update my LR 4.4. The bying proces went ok until I am asked about the country where I have my adress. It is as default United State but I live in Denmark. I am asked to call a number in US but is i not possible for me to change the the informations you allready have about me?

I just finished the settings and have tested the Paypal page. But it's blocked : in the error message, an old e-mail adress appears and it says that the problem comes frome my Paypal account.
