I need to update my Shockwave Flash, but I am using Firefox version 3.6 and Adobe Flash player version 10.0. What do I need to do to make sure my computer can handle these updates?

Every time I try to use anything relating to iCloud, the programs crash.

I restored from a Time Machine backup, updated to 10.8.2, but can't log in to iCloud. My Apple ID is logged in, but if I click on Notes, I get an error code of:
This operation couldn't be completed.
(NSQQLiteErrorDomain Error 10)
If I click on iCloud or Mail, Contacts, and Caldendars in System Preferences, System Preferences crashes.
If I click on anything relating to iCloud, either it loads nothing or quits as soon as I try to add anything.
I've contacted AppleCare and they said to update to 10.8.2 which I mistakenly did not do before restoring. This did not help.
Anybody else have this issue and manage to resolve it?

To address this issue, I would try restarting and/or resetting the iPhone again:

Next, I would turn the Emoji setting off and then on again:

Go to Settings > General > Keyboard and tap International Keyboards. Add a new keyboard and select Emoji. Now when you type, just tap the globe button and choose the emoji that fits the mood.
If that does not resolve the issue, refer to page 146 in the iPhone User Guide to Reset All Settings:

Firefox crashes every time i try to use it and i get the same error message every time!

I have a new install of firefox, and it was working fine then suddenly it started crashing. Not sure what happened. I installed Norton anti-virus, maybe that is it? Anyway here is the error message:

TRY FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

I just spoke with Tesco technical support (having been transferred to them by Clubcard support), who told me that the problems people are experiencing when visiting the Tesco site via Safari aren't currently being addressed because "not enough people have called to complain about it".
I asked what percentage of people he thought might make the effort to call instead of just giving up. He replied that he would be one of those who just gave up.
So it would seem that if we would like the problem to be resolved, we each need to take a few moments to CALL TESCO and ensure our complaint is logged by the technical support team.

PSE 10 crashes every time I try to use it.

I downloaded and installed PSE 10 on my new Windows 7 64 bit machine about a week ago. PSE 10 ran amazingly fast until yesterday. I have imported and tagged several thousand images. Last night Organizer slowed down dramatically. Today, every time I try to use Organizer it crashes. Also, the Task Pane has disappeared and I have to manually open it. By the time it opens the program has crashed and ceased to respond. I have closed PSE10 and reopened it. I have both restarted and rebooted my computer, and I have repaired and optimized my catalogue. If I uninstall and reinstall PSE10 will I lose all my catalogue information such as albums, tags, etc.?

Is your D: drive an internal or external drive?
For the present, I'd say to install your optical drive and see if the Organizer still works. That'll settle that issue once and for all.
Here are my thoughts about restoring from your backup:
I have my doubts that that will help. This is based on the "Garbage In, Garbage Out" principle -- if you've backed up a corrupted catalog, what will you gain by restoring it? However,
There's a chance that the process of restoring your photos to a different directory and forcing PSE to rewrite the data in the catalog would fix whatever was wrong. Right now, you dont' have anything to lose by trying it, right?
So, the question becomes how best to restore from your backup and force all the data to be rewritten. I'd suggest creating a new directory for the catalog and for the images. For example, assuming you want everything on your C: drive, create this new directory: "C:\Data\PSEcatalogs" and this new directory: "C:\Photos". Then, when you restore from that backup, point the catalog location to the "C:\Data\PSEcatalogs" directory; and point the location for the incoming photos to the "C:\Photos" directory with the option to keep the existing folder structure of the original photo directories.
Does that work for you? If it works, you'd obviously have to keep using that "C:\Photos" directory for new photos, and not your "My Pictures" directory (or wherever you're keeping them now).

I would say to start by looking on their web site... unfortunately, that appears to be dead.
Based on the horrible ratings on the App Store (1 star for the current version), I'm not surprised it doesn't work well.

Some advice from various locations on the web (use google). Each works for some users, not all. Give these a try.
Try to deauthorize the computer then authorize it.
select song or app. that's not authorized, itunes will ask for your password, enter password, click ok, and ok again. Done.
I had the same problem when I switched from my laptop to a macbook. What I figured out was that I had purchased applications under two different email addresses. You can click on one of the applications that is not syncing and go to "File" then "Get Info" to find out what email address you used to purchase those applications. Hopefully this helps.

Same thing happens when i click restart.
No difference when i run it in Safe mode. And it won't let me create a new profile either. Is there anyway else i can extract my bookmarks? This is driving me crazy!

Did the crash reporter send any crash reports?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"

Firefox 4 hangs up, loops on itself, or freezes every time I try to use it, why?

Since I upgraded to Firefox 4, every time I try to use it it hangs up. I click on a button or try to scroll down and nothing happens. I have to use the force quit function to get out of it because it won't even let me quit it normally. I have let it sit for hours and nothing changes, I can't get any information from my mac because I have to force quit firefox so there is no crash report. This did not happen with any previous version of Firefox.

Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple Id to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new ID.

sorry to hear about your troubles, but we will need to have more technical information about your problem to be able to help you:
There may be several reasons that can cause Aperture to crash on start up:
You may have imported an image (or video) in an encoding that Aperture does not support, or that is larger than 2 GB, or that is corrupted and Aperture cannot process it
Your Aperture Library or Preferences may have been corrupted
Or you are having a system wide problem with your machine.
Or you may simple be running out of disk space.
It would help, if you could post the crash log from your last crash. Also, more details on your Aperture Library: Is it managed or references? how large is it? Is it on your system drive or on an external drive?
What have you done, shortly before the trouble started? Have you imported new images or videos? Did you install any plug-ins or any new software, lile Final Cut?
Try, if you can get Aperture to launch, if you defer the generation of Previews: Hold down the SHIFT-key immediately after you start Aperture to prevent preview generation for that session. If a damaged image in your library is preventing normal opening, this may allow you to start Aperture. If this succeeds, try to identify the broken image or video among the images you recently imported and remove it from the library.

I would try deleting the program and download it again. Perhaps some part of it didn't download when you originally downloaded it.
