Live Corners Widget is missing in new download of AI 2014 x64

I did not know a built in Widget could go missing in a app but here I am...
I just downloaded most of the creative Cloud Apps just yesterday after a system crash, after which I wiped the drives including Users (Windows 7.1+ all updated and fresh. Just got working in AI tonight and went for the live corner Widget and , and,..., It had disappeared. No windows>Panel options, Nothing in all references, tool bars, or content menus-with the sole exception of View/Hide Live Corners. I clicked it back and forth: hide/show, hide-show, hide-show, nothing worked. (It was working just fine in the "Pre-Crash" install but in this install it is just--gone. Is there a way to extract the component from the downloaded file and replace what is KO'ed in this install. Or should I re-install?. I have been around computers for-jeep 1/4 century, so no need the beginner, "did you plug it in yet? kind of stuff. Unless-- I forgot? Every thing else is working just fine?

It may be time for the list, 6) being the ultimate one.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Image Processor Tab Missing in New Adobe Bridge CC 2014

In the new Bridge CC you used to have a TAB under tools called Photoshop which you could run the script Image Processor for easily processing jpegs. What has happened to this and is their maybe a new way of processing jpegs to lo-res that I dont know about from tiff or jpeg or does my bridge have a problem?
I have attached a image grab from my bridge that shows that the tab is not there. I know that you can access image processor directly from Photoshop, but they used to always be linked.

No, it is still in Bridge CC.
Did you uninstall Photoshop CC after installing Photoshop CC 2014? If so, that may have removed some of the Bridge integration scripts by mistake. Re-installing Photoshop CC 2014 should replace the scripts.

You need to install Creative Cloud app from where you can install Illustrator 17 and 18 versions

Jprice000 what operating system are you using? Has the Creative Cloud Desktop application worked previously?
I would recommend utilizing the steps listed in Error "Failed to Install" Creative Cloud Desktop application - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/failed-install-creative-cloud-desktop.html to reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application.

How do I move/duplicate small objects without CC 2014 live corners getting in the way!?

I'm finding a problem with live corners on the recent Illustrator CC2014 update...
Live Corners used to be a feature of the direct selection tool but now its on both types of selector as default... Much as I love live corners and use it all the time, its now impossible (or really bloody awkward) to move or duplicate (with holding alt and dragging) small rectangles. E.g if I wanted to duplicate out lots of small windows in a building for example. It just grabs a corner and makes its a circle. Zooming in gets around this but it doesn't really solve the problem. I'm also aware that you can turn the live corners off entirely but if I had to do that every time I needed it, we may as well go back to the days of effect>stylise>round corners.
Anyone else come across this new frustration or have a work around?

Oh, I thought you were talking about the gigantic corner handles, and being able to completely disable live rectangles. The internal rounded corner handles are not a problem for me because they are eternally hidden (via that very menu command) unless I specifically select one or more corners with the direct selection tool, which makes sense.

Cannot enable Live Corners in Illustrator CC

I'm excited to use the new Illustrator Live Corner Feature but for some reason using the Direct Select tool does not bring up the live corners on any shape I make. I am using Illustrator CC 64 bit on a PC runnign Windows 7. Am I missing something?

This is what I see with the direct selection tool selecting my shape .... I don't see the corner dialoge box or any of the stuff they show on the demo video...

This was EXACTLY what I needed about the purchases I made from my device. However, is there a way to re-download other ones you've made from a computer? Because I realized some of them were not just purchased from my device.

As you can see, the stuff circled in red doesn't give me an option to download from Cloud Beta because it already says "downloaded".

Live Corners and Smart Guides

I am so in love with the fact that live corners are a thing now in Illustrator. I have been waiting for this forever. Or at least, something close it. Unfortunately they're missing a major component that would unclock so many opportunities with them—the ability to interact with the live corner center points while using other tools.
If, for example, smart guides recognize live corner center points, you could create circles with the ellipse tool from them that exactly matched the contour of the live corner. You could of course create additional shapes from that and continue to create really complex, completely accurate shapes, just because you have access to that one center point. Rotate other objects around it, scale objects to it, and so on.
The current implementation is such a missed opportunity. Here's to hoping that in a near future version, other tools, like smart guides and normal guides, recognize the existence of these center points!

Thanks! It did help! Such a pity I didn't know that the toggle thing can be enabled and disabled by a shortcut. And I was looking for direct "Live corners" function, but it is just named somehow differently in the View. Now everything is working, thanks again!

Live Corners - Change one corner individually - I've tried what the tutorials say to do

Live Corners: I can't change only one corner at a time when holding alt/option while clicking (or when I click and drag) the widget with the direct selection tool. Instead it changes all the corners at once. How do I get it to change one corner individually?

Agreed, the steps in the video cannot be reproduced faithfully in the current software (18.0.0). Granted when he talks about changing the radius of a corner independently he selects a control point. Earlier however he appears to change a single corner style with the entire shape selected. This I cannot do.
As far as I can tell there is no reason why the operation ALT/OPT + manipulation of the corner widget can't result in single control of that radius. The ALT/OPT key along with the white arrow tool doesn't seem to be any different than with no modifier key.
The tool is a very good idea on the whole but the intuitive approach should be the one that works.

Live corners disappear after scaling shape

The Live Corners feature is welcome in Illustrator 17.1, but I find that it works inconsistently. One issue that I've isolated is that scaling a path makes the live corners disappear.
To reproduce:
Create a rounded rectangle
Select the path
Click the direct selection tool to verify that Live Corners are present
Click the selection tool
Scale the rounded rectangle (say drag up from the scale point in the middle of the bottom side)
Click the direct selection tool - where are the live corners?
Is that a bug? Is that a design choice?

I'm trying to use live corners, but I too get the shape scaled incorrectly . If I create a square and create rounded corners with the DS arrow, that's fine. but if I want to make the square a rounded rectangle, the live corners distort. This is the same behavior as the rounded rectangle tool. it only keeps the "Live Corners" live if you scale it proportionally. I thought the reason to have a feature called LIVE CORNERS was to keep corners LIVE-even after scaling. The Stylize filter works better at this. Am I missing something? I hope so, because Photoshop does rounded corners better this. I thought the whole reason for the "live corners" was to FINALLY have this available in Adobe's main vector-drawing tool, Illustrator. Maybe this feature is not fully realized.

Moving Creative Suite 4 to new laptop. New download has 9 Pro, old install had 9 Pro "EXTENDED". Don't remember if my boss bought the "extended" as an exrta. BUT, when I go to Adobe and downlaod the "Extended" version, it says I have a better program already installed. IF this program is 9 Pro, then It is missing the 3D capture feature I was using to create 3D User Interactive PDFs of AutoCAD 3D models off the Model tab. Any clue what I need to do? Thanks, Cliff

The version of Acrobat bundled with CS4 was Acrobat 9 Pro. Acrobat 9 Pro Extended was sold as a standalone product.
If you already have Acrobat 9 Pro Extended, then untick the option to install Acrobat when installing CS4, and you can carry on using the standalone copy. Acrobat and CS4 don't actually talk to each other, so installing CS4 won't affect your install of Acrobat unless you force the CS4 install program to replace it.

New Downloads of Firefox will not open

Just downloaded 19.0.2 and still getting an error message when I try to open:
PROFILE MISSING "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible."
I tried the terminal utility "profile manager" routine, but it can't find anything to manage. A search of the Mac returns null on "firefox profile". I don't understand why, if the profile is missing, a clean download will not solve the problem?
I'm running 10.7.5 on a Macbook Air
I feel like I'm in Mash. The following "help" assumes I'm in Firefox, which isn't happening.

Try to delete the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new profiles.ini file and a new default profile.

Email - New Downloads do not replace the old versions even though it says it will.
Not a "feature" I can live with. If I run an old version of an ad it costs me money.
Making each have a new name creates issues with automatic updates in inDesign --

This issue still exists.
It asks if I want to repalce the old file with a new one -- I say yes -- and presto chango -- old file stays and new files disappears!!!
This is NOT acceptable and will cost me money if ads do not update.
I hate that I have to change my working because it does not do what it says it does.
