Live editing from 2 video sources on macbook pro

Hi
I want to edit live video from 2 input sources, HD camera and RGB out from a video projector. Can anyone suggest firstly the way I would get both sources into the macbook and secondly what software I would use to edit on the fly. Possibly not edit but have 2 windows showing simultaneously on screen.
I know I can record the video onto the camera and record the rgb to the macbook then sync them later in final cut but I would like to do it realtime if possible to save time.

The source is a laptop showing a keynote presentation. I want to video the presenter and display the keynote in sync with each other on a split screen. As I said I can do this in post production but wanted to do it live to save editing as it is a process that I will be repeating many times.

You may consider doing that, it largely depends on what you want the movie for once you have it on your Mac, sending it to YouTube is likely to cause it to lose much of its quality.

There are two apps that I know of - and I would also swear that they come from the same developer, although they've different names. Both have free trials and both cost $40 (but both do 'other' video conversion as well).
One is WonderShare - I bought this one and it works very well for downloading YouTube videos as well as converting just about any file format you can think of.
The other is iSkysoft Video Converter (just noticed that it's now $36).
I tried them both and finally decided on WonderShare. Give them both a trial run and decide if you like either one enough to buy it. I don't know of any 'free' software that will allow you to download and convert YouTube videos, but perhaps someone else will come along and know of something...

I got my mp3 files from PC and transfer to iPad 2. it works good.
And I want to transfer this mp3 files from iPad to MacBook Pro.
I don't know how to do it and it seems like I should 'buy some tranfer program from other website'.
Should it word that way? or iTunes program can't deal this issue?
I have changed some music file information (such as Album, Artist, etc) of mp3 files in iPad from iTune in MacBook. Of course, the iPad was connected to the MacBook. However after I disconnected the iPad from the Mac, those changes were not shown in the iPad (edited album name, artist name...). When I connect the iPad to the Mac again, I can see the changes in iTune in the Mac.

What do you mean by the HDD? Is it an external FW HD?
If so, any video media you put on it can be accessed by any other computer with FCE.

Your posted info shows you are using Mac OS X (10.5.8). With this Mac OS, you can use iMovie, Photo Booth, or optional QuickTime 7 Pro to record and save a QuickTime video. (Be sure to save in a YouTube Supported file format.)
Then follow the YouTube Help instructions for How to upload your saved videos.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

How to make a "live streaming" from "video file". It likes a live streaming from camera but it uses video file as the source.... many thanks

Do you mean you have video file but you want to publish it as live stream , am i right? If yes following is the solution, but before that let me clarify you will need server to do it , i mean there is no way Flash client (i.e. .swf file running in Flash Player) can publish file from local disk.
Now let me tell you how to do it from server:
Place your video file under "streams" folder of your application i.e. say "myVideo.flv" under <FMS root>/applications/myApp/streams/_definst_
Now write following code in your main.asc file (this file would be under <FMS root>/applications/myApp )
var mystream;
application.onAppStart = function(){
mystream = Stream.get("livestream");
mystream.play("myVideo",0,-1,true);
This will publish "myVideo" file as live stream under name of "livestream". Client would have to subscriber using NetStream and
use ns.play("livestream",-1,-1)
You might have to write some extra code if you want to loop same file else once play of recorded file gets over , live publish will automatically stop.

Slow video refresh on Macbook Pro Retina 13"

I installed 10.9 and was doing fine, apart from the known GMail issue (now solved). But it has been two days now that my Mac has slowed down on video refresh:
(I use a second Apple Cinema Display 24" through Display Port, but it happens even if I unplug the second display)
* when I change screen or call mission control, I can notice a drastic performance drop in the video transitions and the menubar flashes vigorously.
* when fullscreen (for example in Safari) my menubar drops down very slowly and sluggishly.
I reinstalled 10.9 from the recovery partition... but it had no effect. Anyone experiencing this issue?
I haven't installed anything in the last two days. I might have updated the Flash plug-in, but I am pretty sure I did it a few days ago.

Can you play the video on your Mac's screen (not connected to the TV)?
When you connect to the TV with HDMI, do you see a desktop appear? (Before you start the movie.)

Me either, since I installed a new operating system on my mac book pro - I followed a suggestion of deleting all Flash Player files through system preferences, closing Safari while I install a new version of Flash, but I got an error message saying 'unable to complete installation' - problem remains.
