Live event: same channel same port fail to stream two differ stream type
Hi All,
When I create live event in same channel and same port with differ type streaming (unicast and multicast) I can’t start DME so I cannot start broadcast too and video cannot stream..
I did try and used non-dme live event .. the result still same and video not stream in sns. Im ussualy use this way with last dmm version (5.0.2) and to day I use SnS ver 5.2.1 its not running/ video blank......
anybody know what happening ???

Lets step back a little and get some more details:
* What type of DME are you using?
* What is connected to the DME providing the LIVE stream?
* Specifically, how do you have the DME configured for your setup?
* Please provide the SCREEN CAPTUREs of your DME configuration on
the SNS
* Have you configured a "Basic" configuration (single channel\port only) on the DME
and SNS with 5.2.1 and have it working? Have you ever got the DME working with SnS 5.2.1

You should be able to stream from a Flash Media Server.
The URL should look like this:

You can do some tests from a PC to get the exact URL that would suit your environment.

Hi, I'm currently experiencing a problem with some VMs in a Hyper-V 2012 R2 failover cluster using Fiber Channel adapters with Virtual SAN configured on the hyper-v hosts.
I have read several articles about this issues like this ones:

But haven't been able to fix my issue.
The Virtual SAN is configured on every hyper-v host node in the cluster. And every VM has 2 fiber channel adapters configured.
All the World Wide Names are configured both on the FC Switch as well as the FC SAN.
All the drivers for the FC Adapter in the Hyper-V Hosts have been updated to their latest versions.
The strange thing is that the issue is not affecting all of the VMs, some of the VMs with FC adapters configured are live migrating just fine, others are getting this error.
Quick migration works without problems.
We even tried removing and creating new FC Adapters on a VM with problems, we had to configure the switch and SAN with the new WWN names and all, but ended up having the same problem.
At first we thought is was related to the hosts, but since some VMs do work live migrating with FC adapters we tried migrating them on every host, everything worked well.
My guess is that it has to be something related to the VMs itself but I haven't been able to figure out what is it.
Any ideas on how to solve this is deeply appreciated.

CUOM 2.3 sends multiple notifications for Event StoppedGSUPerformancePolling with same time stamps

I have a CUOM Version 2.3 which shows mutiple notifications per Device for Event StoppedGSUPerformancePolling with same time stamps. The message below is generated from the default All_Events for all devices.
Does anyone have a solution for that.

CUSTOMER REVISION = Voice Portif you get SNMP timeout on multiple devices then the fault usually lies in the path that the polling follows to get to these devices and back to the server.
The problem obviously lies in the part path they have in common.
It is not unusual to see the highest backbone loads during the night, due to backups being taken.
Make sure the most important inter-switch links have no errors.
I would rather fix this then turn off alerting.

TV's on Same Channel - why a delay?
When I have the same channel on 3 TV's, why are they delayed and not the same? I have them all on HD channels, so, it can't be because it's HD vs SD.
Thanks.If one of the boxes is a DVR. The reason for the delay is the buffer. On the regular box, live programing comes in and is displayed. On a DVR the live programing comes in, is buffered (so you can pause and rewind the live tv) which takes a second or so. So the programing will display about about a second behind the live programing.

Controller places ap's on same channel
I am studying for the CCNA Wireless, and just acquired a WLC 2125 and some ap's to lab with for a bit. I have the channel and power settings set to global, and there are 2 1142's attached to the controller in local mode. Both are accept clients and roaming seems to work as it should. However, I also have an autonomous ap thrown in the mix (another 1142) to see how the controller reacts. It appears quite content to place one of the controller-based ap's on the exact same channel as the autonomous ap 3 feet away from it. The controller sees it as a rogue at -27 RSSI on the same channel, so it's by no means a ghost. Any ideas on settings I should check? I figured the controller would try to balance on 1,6,11 based on the environment as well as its members. Here is a screen shot of what I am seeing.
Q. I have set the Radio Resource Management (RRM) to the default settings on my WLC. However, I cannot find my RRM to automatically adjust the channel and power levels. Why?
A. RRM possibly does not work for any of these reasons
The RRM works only if an AP hears RF signals from at least 3 nearby APs, with a third neighbor that transmits a signal strength greater than -65dbm. If any of these condition fails, the RRM does not work.
The auto RRM feature includes channel adjustment, power adjustment, and coverage hole detection. These features do not work if they are either disabled or the method of assignment is chosen as manual.
While a fresh AP boots up, it initially keeps power at the default value of 1 (highest). When it sees 3 or more APs with power levels greater than -65 dBm (in the same RF-Mobility-Domain and same channel), it attempts RRM first (change channels). If not successful because the channels are manually fixed or there are more APs than channels available, the AP drops its power level.

i currently have a calendar synced that has events scheduled in perpetuity, scheduled as individual events. I would like to delete all events with the same title. I do not want to delete the entire calendar nor do I want to go into every event and delete individually. These were not scheduled by me so I do not know how they were added one by one and go on forever but they are NOT scheduled as reoccurring and thus must be modified individually.
I can do a search and find all events, is there a way to just delete all events with the same title all at once?
this is a Microsoft outlook synced calendar and I am seemingly unable to delete the events all at one time from Microsoft as well.
Please help!If you still have access to the Outlook calendar in Outlook, I would delete them from there. There are a number of ways to do that, but if you open the individual event in Outlook, does it show a repeating pattern? If not, then you may have to delete them individually, but that is not that difficult either. Go into the calendar and then change the view to a list view. From there you can sort the view according to subject. This should bring all of these same appointments together in the list and you can select the group in Outlook and delete them. Once you do that, you can change your view back and then sync the phone. That will remove the events from the phone.

Is there an issue with the hitachi hard drives in the MacBook Pro's ? Got a 15 inch and a 13 inch at the same time and both drives have failed in under two years. I have heard from a few other people with same issue. Other drive I have had have lasted at least 5 or more years.

How to use the same channel to send a file and messages to the server
I'm trying to develop a simple program that will send and receive files from the server and in the same time I need to communicate with the server through the messages
I'm using TCP Socket
my problem is
I have only one channel
so, I have no option, either I can use it for sending the file itself or sending the message .. but not both !
my question is : How can I use the same channel for sending and receiving (file & message)

Can I set multiple events at the same time to repeat on iCal?
I know I can do this by manually selecting each one of them and setting it to repeat.
But it's a pain and it doesn't make sense not to be able to edit more than one event at the same time.
When I want to set up my weekly schedule I do it for one week and I want to be able to select all the events in that week and set all of them to repeat weekly at once.There are editors that bring up the songs one at a time, so you can edit them in a row. Winamp works that way. iTunes does not.

ICal event is in the background BEHIND event at the same time in foreground
I added an event to iCal via Evite and it is BEHIND a recurring event at the same date and time. There is no way to edit it or view it without moving the recurring event. Normally, the event would be shifted to the side so you can view both.
Any idea how to get iCal to display these two events properly?

One of the first things to try is "refresh" the com.apple.iCal.plist file. You will find the com.apple.iCal.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. Quit iCal, drag the .plist file to your Desktop, log out/in or restart and check iCal for normal behavior.

I made a movie in iMovie then deleted the clips in it. I have reimported the clips in an event with the same name as previously and some clips in the movie are still saying source slip missing even though they are there. Some clips are fine in the movie, but most are just black and when I hover over them, it says source clip missing. How to I fix this? Thank You
I did that too, then I did a migration assistant to a new Mac and ALL of my movies have Source Clip Missing now, even though the original clips are still in the iPhoto Videos. I can stand to re edit one or two projects, but not ALL.

First, I can say that your project involves many things, I cannot describe all features in the forum, and I'm not used with GPRS modems (my modems are base band serial modems...).
Anyway, I would say that in your project you should proceed like this:
1) Configure your FP 2000 module via MAX and ethernet connection;
2) Download an embedded application to your module (build in LabView Real-Time)
3) In your application, you should build a kind of serial port manager, and by the means of serial port you send/receive commands from PC.
The commands from PC can include "Tell me the about the FP 2000 file system ", or "switch on line X", or anything you need.
I think it would be difficult to use Internet exp, because you use IE with TCP/IP, and TCP/IP is over ethernet.
I know that for Windows you can find some wrappers that make you "see" the serial port as an ethernet, but these wrapper do not exist under filed Point, and you shoul build one yourself!!!(and that's not easy).
For example, to browse your files, you should build a VI that searches through your file system, and reports, via serial, the files present in a directory (it's an example....).
About communication between GPRS modems and FP2000, I know nothing. I suppose that these modems accept serial inputs, so you'll have to configure your serial port on FP 2000 with the correct baud rate, parity, and so on..... and you send your data to the modem. The modem will transfer data in its way, no matter on how it does.
To send data to your modem you shoud take a look to some Serial communication examples. What I suggest you, first, is to connect the serial port of FP2000 to a PC, and test communication between PC and FP2000, without modems. Just direct cable connection! If you're able to do this, insertion of modems is the next step, and should be quite easy. If you're not able to make the PC receive strings of data from FP2000, over RS232, adding modems is a further complication, and you won't come out of this mess!
So, what I say, is just build, for now, a simple embedded application for FP2000, that, using RS232, sends data to a PC (you should see data sent with use of Hyper terminal).
To build this application, use Instrument I/O --> VISA commands (VISA open, VISA write, and Property node should be enough, for now).

Same Channel on Different WLANs and RTS/CTS

I have 2 questions about physical layer of wireless lan.
1-) Many WLANs(SSID) use same channel for communication, that means they use same frequency, what prevents the collisions between different wlans but same channel?( I am asking about RF signal collision)
2-) Do rts and cts valid for just one wlan that computer which is generated, belongs to or do rts/cts synchronize all different wlans that use same frequency.
