Live Interior 3D Standard printing issues

I recently downloaded Live Interior 3D Standard for my MacBook Pro.  Cannot get the application to print.  Tried a couple of different printers that work on other applications and tried printing one of the provided templates.  Any help

  • Acrobat 10 Standard Printing Issue

We recently upgraded from v9 to v10 Acrobat Standard.  We have an application that uses the default printer to print a report developed using Rave Reports.  For some reason with v10, the print dialog in this program shows Adobe as the default printer in place of the one selected in Devices and Printers.  This is a Win 7 32-bit workstation.  When v9 Acrobat Standard was installed, there was no issue in the print dialog.
    Thanks,

We just updated all our PC's to Reader 10.0.1 and are having the exact same issue as the original post.  Did you ever find a solution to your problem?  I'd really prefer to not have to convert all our users to PCL printer drivers.
Any help would be appreciated.  Many of the PDF's we're having trouble with now are from third party institutions, so manipulating the PDF's isn't really a great option.
    Thanks,

  • Live Cycle PDF Generator - Printing issues

    Hi,
I am new to LiveCycle and figuring out why a custom code developed will print to one set of printers and not the other.  LiveCycle is running on BEA WebLogic server on Widows 2003.  There is a customized SendToPrinter process I see in the Adobe WorkBench which reads an XML resource to determine which printer configuration.  The actual code for printing is invoked from a service called lprPrint using the LPD protocol for which I do not have the source code.  The app is able to print to one set of Cannon printers controlled in the UNIX environment, however while attempting to print to the another Xerox printer which is in the Windows world, it fails.  I am able to telnet to the Xerox printer on port 515.  I have used various queue names like lp, LP, PS and so forth but to no success.  Any pointer will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

We use HP OfficeJet 100 mobile printers and have a printing issue. When we print the printer acts as if it is going to print and then prints one blank page.Printer will not print even though it is showing as default printer.Printer will just stop printing in the middle of a document, even in the middle of printing out a page. We are printing via the USB cableWe are using Windows 8.1We are connecting to laptopsWe have been using the HP mobile range of printers since 2004 and have only experienced these issues since we moved the laptops onto Windows 8/8.1 We have:Uninstalled and reinstalled the printer drivers – this fixed this issue for a short while and then it reappeared againCalled HP support and they directed us to the driver support page which had the latest print drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers with them on the phone. This initially fixed the problem and then it returned a few days laterAfter trawling the support forums found directions to change the print processor to “WinPrint” – No effect as the processor was already on this settingDownloaded the HP diagnostic tool – HP Print and Scan Doctor – didn’t fix anything Any further help would be much appreciated.

Hello there Lawrence, Welcome to the Forums! I hope you enjoy your experience
I noticed your post about the troubles you are running into when you attempt to install your OJ 6100 printer on your Windows 8.1 laptop. I read all of your attempts and seen you have tried several methods to try and get the installation to complete successfully.
I would like to make some suggestions that may help. Let me know how it goes!
    1. Check that Internet Explorer pop-up blockers are turned off before downloading the installer
Internet Explorer Pop-up Blocker: How do I turn off Pop-up Blocker?
    Try to install
    2. If you're running McAfee Live Safe or any other firewall, please temporarily disable the "real time scanning".
    How to disable realtime scans
    Try the install
    3. Go to the start screen (you may also press the windows key + R to open the run box) and type %WINDIR% this should show the windows folder.
Click on the folder and scroll until you see files. Look for a filed named "HPWINS*.DAT" (the * is for a number that varies) remove this file and try the installation.
    Try the install

  • I am using Aperture 3 to edit RAW and JPEG photo images on my Macbook.  I am having color printing issues with my Canon MP640 Pixma color printer.  The image I see on my macbook is not reciprocated in printing from my printer?

My issue is that I am not getting print quality compared to the image I see on my screen.  Just recently it has been very wishie washie.  My printer is supposed to be excellent for producing color prints
I have contacted Canon support but they told me that the signals that are sent to the printer originate from an Apple product, therefore, it is an Apple mac problem not there's.  I am wondering if my on screen proofing and/or printing profiles are correctly set.  I notice that in 'print profiles' there are nine different options for printing from my particular printer.  How confusing is that?
I have also found that when I choose a high standard print option my photo print comes out very red.
Can some kind person please help me?  I don't seem to be getting any help from anyone else!  Thanks in anticipation.

You didn't mention any color calibration being done on your monitor.  This is an essential part of any color-correct workflow.  What are you using to calibrate your monitor (and your printer)?
Print profiles (for soft-proofing as well as printing) are for specific combinations of paper & printer.  The nine you have are each, most likely, for a common paper (perhaps mfr'd by Canon) to be used with your printer.
I don't know what you mean when you say "I choose a high standard print option".
Have you read the User Manual chapter on printing?

  • Printing Issue - Custom Media Sizes, InDesign CC/Mac Mavericks

    Hi all,
I've got a strange problem that I hope someone can provide some insight to.  Perhaps this is a bug, but I'd rather ensure that there isn't something here that I haven't understood.
I have a project that I periodically modify and re-print on custom size media (3.25" x 7.36").  I've used the same Id document and workflows since, probably, Id 2 or 3, updating each time to the latest versions.  The problem may be in the way Id CC interacts with the MacOS X printing system.  The printer in question is a Xerox 8550.
The project is a one page table printed on this particular card stock.  What's happening is that the printable area on the stock isn't being fully used - the top and bottom of the media aren't being printed - thus the top and bottom of the content is being cut off, in a way that wasn't an issue previously.
The printer control panel prompts for and accepts the media size correctly (I believe these printers have checks to ensure media fed matches the printable area; the Phaser engine doesn't like printing "off the paper").
Again, the same document has been used for many years, so I've tried the following steps to isolate and remediate the problem:
Document Setup: Custom Page Size, verify correct for media.
Print dialog: "Page Setup..." format for (custom media size defined for OS X), also verified to be correct for media.
Print dialog: "Setup", paper size Width and Height, correct; orientation correct, offset and gap 0p0, scale 100%.
    Print dialog: PPD correct.
Recreated document, re-entering sizes and verifying setup.  No change.
Created a test document, with same settings, and a scale extending outside of the printable area.  The specs for (and my experience with) the printer are that the printable area is 5mm from the edge of the paper.  The result of the test is that the content is cut off at 10-11mm from the edge instead.
Exported PDF from Id.  Printed using Preview, same OS X page setup configuration.  Printer prompts for correct media size.  Content in test file prints as expected, to 5mm from media edge.
Printed test document from Acrobat XI, using "Actual Size", "Choose paper source by PDF page size", and "Use custom paper size when needed".  Printer prompts for correct media size, content prints as expected, again, to 5mm from media edge.
So, in brief, exported PDF prints properly (and this is a workaround), but it's a pain that Id has this issue.  All software involved is up to date.  I haven't tried to dig into the PPD, as PostScript isn't one of my areas of strength, but I'm reasonably sure it's correct.  I've also tried a similar test using Letter-size paper, and that also prints to 5mm.
I'd love to get some feedback on this.  Many thanks.

For what its worth, I've been trouble shooting this issue with Adobe / Xerox / Apple for some time now. Here are my findings so far:
--------------------------------------------------Adobe's final response after a very long help ticket--------------------------------------------------------
This Email is in regards to the case related to the adobe application and Printing issue ,
As checked we were able to see that application  is able to create the document with correct size , when checked within Adobe Pdf properties the size was showing as per document specification and when we tried to print the same , the document was showing the same values carried forwarder to the printer and in the preview it was showing the same specific setting of the document size in the printer previewer
It was during the printing process the same value are not being calculated correctly as per our interaction ,  you were able to use the same in the previous version of Mac  10.8. 5 , please check if there is any update available for the 10.9 version of mac and if it would work on the same ,we would request you to contact your printer help support for the same we are leaving the case open and would request you to call us back if there is any further issue  on  800 833 66 87

Here the Decline from 3rd Level Engineering.
    2nd Level Reference #: 19458297
    Customer Name: VDB REAL ESTATE
    Product Model: Phaser 7800
Problem Summary: Scale is incorrect when printing PDFs on custom size paper in OS X 10.9
    Decline Reason: App/3rd party Issue
Note: I tested using the included process steps:
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE-
    I tested using a PDF that was 6" x 8.5".
In Acrobat or Adobe Reader, choose File > Print, go to Page Setup and create a custom page size of 8" x 9.5".
In the Acrobat dialog, set the size to "Actual size".
Print this to the device, note that the image is about 7" x 10".
Interestingly, in the Acrobat dialog, if "Choose paper source by PDF page size" is selected, the previewed page size is not that of the document, but instead shows 10.13" x 7.17".  This size will change if different printers are selected.
Scaling is not an issue when printing to standard page sizes.
I was able to recreate the issue on a Mac running OS 10.9.1 using the Xerox 7800 print driver. I then tested on Mac OS 10.9.1 using a generic Postscript driver and also recreated the issue.  This indicated that this is not a Xerox driver issue.  I then tested on a Mac OS 10.8.5 using the same Xerox 7800 driver version and it worked as expected without scaling the image.
Mac OS 10.8.5 uses CUPS version 1.6.2 for printing where 10.9.1 uses CUPS version 1.7.  I believe this is a CUPS issue and you will need to work with Apple to resolve it.
You may appeal this decision by replying to this email and providing appeal details.

While using 10.92 with Xerox Phaser 7800DN (2.94.1 PPD - Installed via Software Update), PDF at a custom page size was sent to spool folder via Preview was correctly sized, however the document produced by Adobe Reader appears to be icorrect. When using Preview the PDF printed to a custom page size at 100% scale comes out the proper size.

  • InDesign CS4 Printing issue

    Hi:
I use InDesign CS4 in my job as a church office manager. I print bulletins that are usually 3 letter-sized pages, landscape, 2-sided, and newsletters that are 2 11x17 pages, landscape, 2-sided. I'm working in Mac OS 10.5.8.
Until today, I was using a fairly old HP 8100dn printer. When I upgraded from CS3 to CS4 last summer, I found a strange thing: I couldn't print duplex on letter-sized paper from InDesign. No matter what settings I selected, the printing would not duplex. As a workaround, I had to export everything as a PDF and print from Acrobat, where the duplexing worked fine.
Weirdly, 11x17 duplex printing worked correctly from InDesign.
I never solved the problem, but when I posted this on the forum last summer, one responder said that it might have had something to do with the 8100's age and its PostScript Level 2 emulation.
Just today, my office got a new(er) printer, an HP 8150dn. This one has PostScript Level 3 emulation.
Precisely the same problem. Letter-sized won't duplex from ID; 11x17 will. Exporting letter-sized documents to PDF and printing from Acrobat is once again the workaround. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it is a bit of a hassle.
Does anyone have any sort of idea about why this is happening, or better, how it might be fixed?
    Thanks much,
    GT
PS: ID won't duplex when printing in portrait orientation on letter-sized paper, either.
Message was edited by: It doesn't work!

Well, I fixed it, I think… I googled "Printing issues in Mac OS," which led me to install Gutenprint 5.2.5 — whatever the heck that is — and suddenly duplex printing worked in both landscape and portrait on letter-sized paper.
Unfortunately, and yet not at all surprisingly, I now couldn't print to 11x17 at all. No matter what I did, the printer used Tray 2 (letter), or told me to put custom paper in Tray 1.
So, as a last-ditch attempt to resolve this before I jumped off the roof, I reset the printer to its factory defaults and deleted all traces of it from Mac OS's Printer and Fax window.
Then I created one new printer called "8150 (Gutenprint)" using the Gutenprint driver, and one called "8150 (11x17)" using the default HP driver, both using the same IP address. Lo and behold, when I select the one, I can print duplexed on letter size, and when I select the other, I can do the same on 11x17.
I don't know if this is the sort of thing that a real tech-head would condone, but it finally seems to work. Since I'd never be printing to both printers simultaneously, I figure I can live with this.
If anyone cares to explain to me in layman's terms what Gutenprint is all about, I'd love to be educated…

  • Smart form printing issue with LOCL printer and SAP printer

    Hi,
    The issues are as follows:
    1. the top portion of the Invoice and PO does not print when using the SAP printer (works when using LOCL)
    2. the shaded areas of the Order Confirmation and Invoice are black when printing to a SAP printer (works when using LOCL)
In an attempt to correct the printing issue is was suggested that we change the SAP printer device type from HPLJ4 to POST2. This did address the problem where the shaded areas were black but then we received reports that other reports printed "garbage". Its possible that using POST2 device type causes issues when printing to HP compatible printers.
Apparently all the testing was done using the SAP printer LOCL and not the SAP printer name and SAP spool system. LOCL uses the SAP GUI and Windows system to produce the output. Our production users at the plant site and Toledo are using SAP defined printers with the device type of HPLJ4. HPLJ4 is our standard here as OC for our printer definitions and we have HP compatible printers installed in our Toledo location and all of our remote sites. We need to be able to correctly print the Invoices, Purchase Orders, Sales Order Confirmations on our SAP printers.
What can be done to the reports to allow them to print on our HPLJ4?
    Thanks,
    Babu

    Hi Prathap,
Check the background shading of the windows of the Smartform where you get the black boxes. If it is set something like this:
    Color: White
    Saturation: 100%
    this can be the problem.
I know it is strange but some black and white printers cannot handle this setting. They only know one color black so the ignore the color setting and just take the saturation 100% setting.
The reason it works with local and device type SAPWIN is that the print data is created in Windows and sent to the printer as graphic.
Please change the shading for window MAIN -> tab 'Output Options' to:
    Color: Black
    Saturation: 0%
and this should resolve the problem.
Then create a new spool and check if the problem is resolved. See SAP Note #400050.

  • Xerox, Win 7, Adobe printing issues

HELP...2 New computers are Windows 7 with CS4 premium on one and CS4 Standard on the other
PROBLEM: None of our Adobe files will print correctly to our 2 Xerox printers (7750 and 6350). Even though page layout is correct the documents are printing extremely reduced. We have downloaded and installed the Windows 7 Drivers from Xerox -- but this did not correct the problem. Also it is only the Adobe products (All) that don't print correctly. Big problem for a small design firm.

PLEASE!!!! Is there anyone I can talk to about our problem with CS4, Windows 7 & and Xerox print issues. The Adobe software is the only one that seems to have a problem printing and since replacing our Xerox printers (7750, 6350) is not currently an option,  I need a resolution.
We are a small design firm and I have 4 licenses for CS4.  We generally upgrade every other version -- which means we would be investing in CS6 when it is released. I know we are small potatoes in the Adobe world, but this is business and I can't imagine (just looking at all of the threads online), that someone is not working to find a fix for this.
We have downloaded and installed the latest Win7 drivers for both printers. This did not resolve the issue.
HELP -- This is very frustrating. Right now we are saving everything as JPEG files to print -- not a good solution for a graphic design firm.

  • Standrad smartform and standard print program not available in ECC 6.0

    Hi gurus,
I have a requirement like, I need to change the logo of the standrad smartform based on the company code.
The standard smartform name is '/SMBUSE/US_MMGR3'.
I have searched for the above form in ECC 6.0 and could not find one.
is the issue because of installation or configuration?
Please let me know what need to be installed or configured. so that I can give directions to the respective basis / functional guys.
please let me know the standard print program for the above smartform and how can I find the same.
    Thanks & Regards
    Kiran Kumar K

    Hi ,
No standard smartform's were available because SAP Best Practises was not installed in the system.
If standard smarforms are not installed then in this case we need to need to download the forms and upload them in our system.
We need to copy paste the standard print program's as well.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Special Standard printer only for acrobat reader, is this possible? Registry Hack

In my networking earea are a lot of printers also a big toshiba copying mashine.
While printing a pdf file to it with an PCL6 printer driver it takes a lot of time to print this.
When i take a Postscript driver it runs faster ...
so when my users will print pdf's it is difficult to explain them how to print ... an own standard printer for acrobat reader would solve this problem.
Does anyone have a solution? is there some registry hack?
    regards 2CV6

In Windows (don't know if this is the case on Mac) in a corporate environment where you are connected to printers via verbose network paths, you can't see the entire path.  The "printer name" gets truncated.  Since the name of the printer is at the right end of the path, you can't see which printer is which.
It would be handy if they had a function that allowed you to scroll to the right of the printer list and/or throw up a tool tip that gives the entire path.  I'm surprised this hasn't been flagged as a pretty significant issue.

Is your Photoshop updated to Photoshop CS6 13.0.6?
    Have you tried trashing prefs:
To re-create the preferences files for Photoshop, start the application while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
Note: If this process doesn't work for you while you're using a wireless (Bluetooth) keyboard, attach a wired keyboard and retry.
Important: If you re-create the preferences by deleting the Adobe Photoshop CS6 Settings file, make sure that you only delete that file. If you delete the entire settings folder, you also delete any unsaved actions or presets.
Reinstalling Photoshop does not remove the preferences file. Before reinstalling Photoshop, re-create your preferences.

if having issues opening raw files also the exact camera make and model that generated them,
if you're having printing issues, indicate the exact make and model of your printer, paper size, image dimensions in pixels (so many pixels wide by so many pixels high). if going through a RIP, specify that too.
A screen shot of your settings or of the image could be very helpful too,

  • Address printing issue in SAPSCRIPT

    Hi All,
I am getting address printing issue in address in sapscript .
Here is my address format in the script.
/: ADDRESS DELIVERY PARAGRAPH ZA LINES 10
    /:    TITLE                &KNA1-ANRED&
    /:    NAME               &KNA1-NAME1&,  &KNA1-NAME2&,  &KNA1-NAME3&,  &KNA1-NAME4&
    /:    STREET            &ADRC-STREET&
    /:   LOCATION        &ADRC-STR_SUPPL1
    /:   POBOX             &KNA1-PFACH&  CODE  &KNA1-PSTL2&
    /:   POSTCODE       &KNA1-PSTLZ&
    /:  REGION              &KNA1-REGIO&
    /:  CITY                   &KNA1-ORT01&,  KNA1-ORT02&
    /:  COUNTRY          &KNA1-LAND1&
    /:  FROMCOUNTRY &T001-LAND1&
    /: ENDADDRESS
Here in the above code I had added LOCATION and modified the STREET field value.
Moved the changes to QAS server along with the driver program., confirmed all the related transports are moved.
While testing in QAS , i noticed that after LOCATION print I am getting blank space and then the remaining fields are printed.
    For example:
         casa velas boutique hotel
         Attn:  Marie John
         AV.  cocoterosss
        63550 Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit,
        MEXICO.
In the above example the third line the LOCATION data.
The surprise here is that I am not getting blank space in DEV , I had checked all the transports, and all are ok.
Please advice me where I am wrong, ie why i am getting blank space in QAS whereas it not showing in DEV.
    Thanks in advance.
    Vengal Rao.

    Hi Jay,
I fully agree with you that the address printed will be as per SAP standards.
Currently I am looking into the country configuration in DEV - I hope may be the reason,
I have to use the existing ADDRESS....ENDADDRESS format as our client is using  4.6 version,  he just print the financial reports using the common script.
So anything away from the orginal one may lead to more trouble in other reports.
Once I get a reason behind the issue, I shall definetly post them.
    Thanks,
    Vengal Rao.
