A community radio station in Utah just launched an iPhone-enabled stream. The stream plays through the iPhone's Quicktime player without the use of other applications. To play the stream, navigate to www.utahfm.org and click on the iPhone stream button. To save as a favorite, simply bookmark

There has been a change in where Firefox searches for plugins and the plugins folder in the Firefox program folder is no longer scanned for plugins, so Firefox won't find them anymore if they are installed in the plugins folder instead of the "browser\plugins" folder that Firefox now scans.
You can set the plugins.load_appdir_plugins pref to true on the about:config page to make Firefox scan the "<install>/plugins/" directory for plugins like the WMP plugin (np-mswmp.dll).
You can alternatively move plugins from "<install directory>\plugins\" to "<install directory>\browser\plugins\" (create this folder when missing) to make Firefox find them again.

Trying to listen to a live music stream on Firefox....Help?

I'm new to this aspect of the internet, so here goes. I was given a port 8000 address for a live music stream by a trusted staff member of a chat site, along with everyone else, via global/general chat. According to chat, everyone else was hearing music via their web browser (Firefox for some, Chrome for others) but when I entered the given address into the address bar, it took me to a blank page (but with the port 8000 address still in the bar), and asked me if I wanted to open the "file" with windows media player or save it. I tried opening it first, eventually backed out and tried saving it, but both methods resulted in Firefox downloading an ever-expanding file, because it wasn't a preset file, but a live music stream being uploaded and played at the same time. I feel left out, because a few days later (and again after another few days) this person did some more live streams, and each time I got the same problem, only the first time it was on the old family desktop, and the second and third times it was on a new laptop. The desktop has Windows Vista, with a Celeron processor, and Firefox version 21.; the laptop had Windows 8 with a Dual Core processor, and also Firefox version 21.
Is there some setting I have to fix, or do I need a special add-on?

Account debited without downloading application

I tried to buy application from Itune but i was getting error some for Zipcode.When i corrected and tried again then same message popped up then i quit itune but surprisingly when i checked my bank account then i found that the cost was debited to my account 2 times. I am not sure what the procedure to get it checked and get the money back.

How much were you charged ? Each time you change the credit card details on your account you will be chanrged a small temporary store holding charge (approximately $1) to check that the card details are correct and valid, but which should disappear within a few days. If you've been charged the amount of the application twice then you can contact iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
In terms of the zipcode message, is the address that your credit card is registered to exactly the same as on your iTunes account (format and spacing etc) : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
And/or contact iTunes support via the above link.

Since I put my music on the cloud, I cannot access it without downloading each song individually. I thought I was going to be able to stream from the cloud without downloading.

BTW, I purchased the iPhone 5S hoping that this issue would be solved with more memory - it's not. Welcome to the Apple Community.
It sounds as though you misunderstood the purpose of iTunes Match. You still need to have the content on the device to play it.
However it's effectively no different than before in that you keep your most played content on your phone but are able to download stuff you rarely play should you ever wish to.
There's no value whatsoever in iTunes Match unless your library doesn't fit on your phone.

How to setup my airport for music streaming

I would like to use my iPhone and or iPad to stream music from Pandora and Spotify to my 5.1 (Wired) Speakers.
This question is similiar to this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4153687 however i wanted some clarity and thought best to start a new discussion before pulling my hair out doing this the wrong way.
I have an unused Airport Express basestation (A1408) My current home setup is as follows:
Modem Router: (Netgear DGND3700) N600 Wireless ADSL2+ Dual band Gigabit
Home Theatre Computer: Windows 7 (Cat6 LAN Ethernet connection) NO LAN port
AV Reciever: (Onkyo TX-SR309)
5.1 Speakers: Wired connection to AV Receiver (NOT Airplay capable)
Laptop: Windows 7 (Cat6 LAN Ethernet connection)
My question is how to setup the airport, i understand it can be used to enable airplay streaming of music over the existing WiFi network, as these music streaming apps download and play music concurrently i would not want to have to switch between to two seperate WiFi networks. Should i plug the airport into the HTPC? I would need to purchase a LAN Splitter as the only LAN socket is already taken up with my cat6 connection. OR would i plug it directly into the modem/router? This second option is prefereable.

Still slightly confused, with the link you provided i chose scenario 2. All the other secanrios instructed i connect the airport express to my home stereo or powered speakers. As i dont have an aiport express only an airport extreme there is no audio jack and cannot connect it to the stereo/speakers.

Im using windows 7 and cannot find this version of aiport utility, only 5.6.1 - The message comes up: Aiport utility was unable to find any airport wireless device. I am running this utility on my win7 HTPC (which is connected to my modem/router via cat6 LAN) The airport light is blinkng amber.
would you reccommend a hard reset of the airport? or can you provide a link for AirPort Utility 6.1.?

(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

Thanks, I tried that. It shows me only the songs i purchased and just gives me a snippet of the song. After much more reading and a phone call, it looks like Match will stream all the songs in my iTunes account without having to download them, but of course for a fee :( Thanks though.

Lastly since upgrading to iOS 7.0.1 (and beyond) Genuis has become effectively useless: it continually asks me to connect to wi-fi, and if I do it creates playlists mostly composed of tracks by the same artists or those very obviously linked to them- previously it created brilliant, nuanced playlists.

I have done this on numerous occasions but I think that my Iphone has a defect. After many tries, reinstalls, deletion of content, changing content to be stored on external hard drive, deleting itunes and cleaning computer I managed to get all of the songs on and things seemed okay for a while.
The problem returned about a week ago after downloading a new album from Itunes. I now have 12.5k of songs leaving 10gb spare on Iphone which should be more than enough room to operate properly. Last night it seemed to be dowloading ok (after doing all of the above again for the umpteenth time) this morning it revealed that it had just synched 2.5k of songs and 18gb of "other" on the contents bar. it wont synch now as it says its over capacity. So the 18gb of "other" would probably be corrupted data that means it must corrupt each song as it tries to synch it.
The 2.5k of songs it did synch are working on the Iphone as is every song in the library on Itunes. I did completely delete the new album I bought and redownloaded it from the store then tried to synch just that album and it worked fine.
Just about time to dump apple I think!

If you had the hard drive from the original machine, a backup of the same, an iPod with the media, or a subscription to iTunes Match then there would have been hope, but alas no.

Media should be included with the backup of the computer that all users should be creating on a regular basis as part of basic computer/data maintenance.
In the event that you do not have a backup (stop being lazy.... keep backups of YOUR data and other important files)
If you are in the US and running iTunes 10.3 or later, it is possible to redownload music via iCloud from purchased history.
If you are not in the US or for some reason cannot run iTunes 10.3 or later, contact iTunes customer support and ask very nicely for the opportunity to redownload the content. They are not required to provide this opportunity.
It is also possible to transfer content from an iDevice that was purchased via iTunes. On the new computer, sign into the iTunes account, authorize the computer, connect the device then select File > Transfer Purchases.
The simplest method of all is to transfer or copy the media (and other important files) from the old computer or the backup of the old computer. Typing "move itunes library" into the search bar here or into google will reveal step by step instructions on how to do this.

Hi,
Your old pod can only sync with music that is physically in your itunes library and on your hard drive. Therefore there is simple way to resolve is to download your music to your hard drive.

OK, I've tried everything, looked everywhere, and from what I've looked up, it seems itunes intentionally makes it next to impossible to do it, but there was this one time, where I accessed my kindle fire music folder, and dragged and dropped the music into there and it transferred to the kindle fire. Then from there I would transfer the kindle music to itunes. But now it's not working? What happened? I accessed the kindle music folder, and couldn't transfer the songs from my ipod to there like usual. What happened? And is there ANY other way i can transfer ipod touch songs to my computer, without downloading software? I've tried looking for "ipod control" folder like people usually tell me to do, but it's not there, even if I click show hidden files and folders.
