Live Office Returns Unknown Error when doing a Universe Query from Excel

The issue I am having is that every time I do a universe query against any universe (STS Sales, eFashion, etc...), I get the query panel, I choose the dimensions and measures, I click next and the tool returns an Unknown error. This doesn't happen if I import a "part" from a WEBI or Crystal report. It only happens when I do a universe query.
Any thoughts?

'Unknown Error' when trying to save files from CS under Leopard

We recently upgraded to Leopard, and reinstalled our CS apps. Photoshop and InDesign work fine. Illustrator, however gives us an 'An Unknown Error has Occurred' when trying to save any file. After dismissing the alert, a window pops up, informing us that, 'Can't save preview, but all other information was saved successfully. The file couldn't be found. ID=-43.' This happens when trying to save a new file, or an existing file, when saving with PDF preview is checked, or unchecked. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I deleted preferences on both machines. The Intel seems to be cured. All file formats save, printing, and importing are functioning normally.
The G5 however is only modestly improved. I can now at least create and save files. Printing also functions. However if I attempt to use the template dialog box or to import (place) a file the dialogs crash the application.
My suspect is a corrupt font, but until I have time to track down which one it is, I'll have to limp along as is...

Office365: search content webpart shows "unknown error" when I click "change query"

Hi all,
I am having an office365 tenant with some SharePoint sites on them. I wanted to add a "content search" webpart, but it wasn't in the list. So I learned on some site that I had to turn off/on Enterprise features. After that, the webpart appeared
in the list.
But..
Everywhere I add the webpart, when I edit it and want to change the query, the pop-up opens and gives me "an unknown error occured".
Any ideas ?

Are you saying you have activated the Cross-Site Collection Feature Publishing in your Office 365 tenant, and you see the Content Search Web Part when you are adding a web part, you
can add it to a web part zone without issue. However, as soon as you click on the right triangle in the top right corner and choose Edit Web Part you get a pop up error with the error?
Is there a correlation ID or anything on the error? Have you tried using the PowerShell cmdlets for Office 365 to pull errors or anything?

OTA update says there have been an error updating. When I try to update or restore to 6.0b4 (iPhone3,1_6.0_10A5376e_Restore.ipsw) - the device is registered in iOS Provisioning Portal - I still get the same errors. What am I doing wrong?

While IE 8 prints FF 3.6.16 runs into a "unknown error" when I attemp to print from a website; how to fix it?

I call up a web page, I click on File and the click on Print. The print process begins but at about 50% progress an error message pops up saying that "An unknown error has occurred in the printing process..." and the process comes to a halt.
IE 8 simply prints the same page without difficulty. HP support was not able to help.

So far,it seems to work.Funny,I have described this problem to someone at [email protected],and they couldn't help me,and never suggested the "reset" option.The problem has been intermittent,which leaves me holding my breath-hopefully,my problem is permanently solved.Thanks!

Not sure if this helps,but something bizarre is happening in my Preferences. The "print.print_printer" entry has disappeared (which I had reset earlier),and when I close and restart FF,the settings in Preferences change,seemingly at random.Sometimes Print works,sometimes it doesn't. Attached are screen shots of both Preference states which seem to cycle back and forth. It doesn't seem to affect the ability/inability to print when in either state.

TS4526 Unknown error when trying to play video from netflix or HBO go.

When I try to play a video from Netflix or HBO go it attempts to load and says unknown error please try again later. I've been trying this for several days. I logged out then logged back in with no change. It seems to play the other apps okay. I've only had the apple tv for a couple months and the software is up to date.

Had the same issue and found this information. Just tested and it worked for me. Hopfully helps some else also!
Answer: Change your DNS setting in the iPhone/iPad Wi-Fi settings.
That worked for me. My original DNS settings were assigned by my WIFI router a. I removed these and placed in: 208.67.222.222 (Open DNS server IP)
To make this adjustment go to Wi-Fi, locate your selected Wi-Fi network and click the blue arrow beside it to being up advanced settings, click in the DNS area to change it.

just checking on something. what got you past the "exception" message that you were getting when you were trying to launch itunes? (thinking here that info on that might possibly give us a heads up on what might be happening with your -53.)

"Unknown error" when trying to get updates from App store...

Anyone else having trouble with the App store today? Trying to take in updates but get a "cannot be completed due to unknown error" huh? I've double/triple checked passwords etc, and they're free updates so I don't get it. Deleted apps and tried to re download, but no go..... Thoughts?

Account Determination Error when doing GI for Delivery from Projects

When we try and Goods Issue a delivery from Projects, we get the following error:
Account determination for entry 0 GBB 0001 ___ 7900 not possible
We are not sure why the Account grouping code comes through with no value. Please could someone assist with this issue.

Unknown error when executing MDX when refreshing Crystal Report with BEx

I have created a Crystal Report (Crystal 2008 SP1) with BEx Query (7.10) and have been able to refresh successfully when the SAP_ALL authorization is included in my user role. I don't want my end users to have SAP_ALL so I created a role and assigned the authorizations recommended in the SAP Integration Kit for BusinessObjects 3.1 Install Guide.
When I run the report as one of the users assigned to my new role I get the following error in the trace file.

I tried all the Fix Packs (ie 1.1., 1.2 and 1.3) for XI 3.1 Integration Kit to try resolving the error but it didn't work.
The same query works fine in BEx Web when running as one of the users in the new role I created for Crystal Report users.
Are there any other Authorizations that I need to include in the role?

We have been able to identify what causes the MDX driver to error and I will explain what we are trying to implement with the hierarchies.
Firstly, we are creating reports of the HR cube Mutliprovider using the SAP MDX Driver which works well when there are no authorization analysis set on the cube. But with the authorization analysis set for on 0ORGUNIT for BEx Explorer Crystal returns the MDX error.
Each of the Business Unit managers are assigned to an Organization Unit that will be used to restrict the employees that will be reported. To restrict the Managers to only see their Org Unit we have set the 0ORGUNIT object to use authorization ananlysis and a custom authorization variable to return only data for the Org Unit they belong too.
In Crystal this works well when a manager has an Org Unit that is a head department of other Org Units. This scenario will give Crystal the NodeID and Parent NodeID to create the hierarchies in the report. But when a manager does not have any other Org Units beneath there own department then Crystal doesn't have a Parent NodeID to create the Hierarchies with the NodeID. In the RFC trace I can see an error when Crystal is trying to get the Parent NodeID but the user is not authorized to that Org Unit then it throws the error.
We have got a temporary workaround which is to create the managers a dummy Org Unit below their own department. The workaround will do for now but shouldn't the MDX driver be able to recognise that it has returned the last level in the Org Unit Hierarchy and not return an error?
The customer is looking for a product fix as they believe this should be handled by the driver. Is this a bug or a limitation of the product?

Unknown Error when I Logging and Transfer P2 Card files in FCP 6.0.6

I have been trying for the past two week to Log and Transfer P2 files to my external hardrive using FCP 6.0.6 unsuccessfully.
Originally I tried to Log and Transfer directly from the Panasonic HPX-170 in between my shooting. The first time it was a success but from then on I always get the same Unknown Error when attempting to transfer. When I encountered the Unknown Error during the second transfer I went on to create folders with the P2 contents on my external Hard Drive.
When I drag any of the P2 folder content on the Log and Transfer window I can see all the clips. I can successfully transfer small B-roll clips I have but any big size file (all my interviews) return an Unknown Error symbol at the end of the transfer. I believe this is probably why I didn't encounter any issues during my first time.
I tried deleting the preferences in FCP and then Logging and Transfer and it works if the systems settings are set for the Mac Pro but not for the external HD. The problem is I don't have enough space on my Mac. I have cleared 45GB of space but my P2 files total 54GB. I tried the same process with a Mac Power Book with FCP 5.1.4 and again in encounter the same problem.
The external HD is a 1TB Western Digital that I have used before with FCP for editing but never before with P2 files. Its in good working order and has 79GB free space remaining. Both the camera and the P2 cards (16GB and 4GB) are also performing as expected.
I would appreciate any suggestions.

Shane's Stock Answer #36 - "One or more clips failed to import..."
Very often in the field with this camera the camera operator will delete clips from the P2 card that they just don't like. That is the beauty of this camera. But, the still for that video file (located in the CLIP folder in the CONTENTS folder)...the still that you see when you are in the P2 Import window...is not deleted. So you will see the image, and the name, but the video file would have been deleted.
What you can do it compare the file names in the VIDEO folder and CLIP folder and see if anything is missing. If something is, then you know what the problem is. You can then just import the rest a few at time, skipping that one.
ALSO...in the P2 Import window...in the P2 Browser, there is a little sprocket drop down menu. Click on that and choose PREFERENCES. Uncheck REMOVE PULLDOWN and then try importing again.
ALSO...make sure your file names aren't too long. Try shortening them and see if that works.
ALSO make sure that the folders that contain the CONTENTS folder doesn't have any odd characters like /!@#$%^&*()?.

Hi All - After the upgrade, I am getting SP-Crawl Error for certain links. I check the Crawl component has proper permission.

Unknown Error When Collecting Files to Copy to a New Location

Going crazy!! I'm trying to shift over and start working on a different computer but although I created my project on an external hard drive so that this move would be easy, I realised too late that my Auto-save folders were saving to the computer's Documents folder. I copied these onto the external hard drive but it still doesn't work when I open Premiere. Instead of five sequences in my project, opening it on my new computer, there only appears to be one sequence and all my bins are not the latest updated state in which they appear on my old computer.
I decided to go to the Project Manager and Collect the Files to Copy to a New Location, making sure the Project destination is on my external hard drive, however three times the copying process has stopped due to an Unknown Error. Does anyone know what this error could be?
I only have possession of the old computer for another 24 hours so if I can't find a solution I will have to lose four solid months of work.
