Live on-screen exchange

I'm not sure if that's what it's called, but while sorting through installation issues, the Adobe tech had me go to website that gave him live access to my monitor. I can't remember what he called it, but I thought he said anyone can use this service.
I need to consult with my technical editor on an illustration. The easiest way for us to communicate is if she could get a live view of my monitor. She's in Wisconsin, and I'm in South Carolina, so strolling over to each other's workstations isn't really an option. Does anyone know more about this and how I can access it?

To force close:
Double tap home button to have the running apps appear
Hold an icon down for a few seconds until the red minus sign appears
Select red minus to force close disired app

Live Green Screen

Is there a way to do live green screen with imovie HD 6. If so how. I have a computer connected to a live tv feed, but I don't know how to put the two together. Thanks

iMovie doesn't support color-keying and it is not meant as a 'live' tool/'mixer', it is a post-production editing app for imports from camcorders..
geethree.com offers a color-key plug-in, which allows blue/green-boxing..
do some research at sites as versiontracker.com, there's a wide range of socalled VJ software, .. not my domain, but those are meant for realtime-effects ..

Live on-screen network monitor.

Hi,
I wonder if anyone know of a network monitor where you can see your network activity live on-screen. What ip's you're connectiong to and which ports you're going through, and vice versa.
Doesn't matter if it is GUI or CLI based, as long as I can monitor my network.

Not quite what your looking for but still useful for being able to email changes in IP address etc... Once you've downloaded it click on the symbols next to you network address's...

at my office we conduct live video broadcasts using widows media encoder, and we're working on moving away from it to a newer method, which most likely will be something flash related.
how the procedure is done today is that a user logs in the windows media encoder program, starts the broadcast, the broadcast starts building an asf file in the server people watch, our users get the link and they join. once the broadcast is finished, the host that did the broadcast exits and saves the file, in the video server. the broadcast is a screen capture presentation of what a host has in his computer.
I want to achieve this or something similar, using a broadcast on flash streaming, so that both, users can log to a link we provide to them, the video server saves the file (preferably as .flv) and of course the broadcast is done nice and smoothly without interruptions or gaps (or at least with a minimum amount).
my question would be,
what process do you guys use to broadcast ? say other members. I'm talking about a simultanous broadcast for about 200 people, I guess it's similar to the numbers that you handle.
I'm pretty wide open on slight modifications on the process, such as maybe the host of the broadcast, saving the broadcast file in his computer and uploading it into the video server afterwards, although I would pprefer of course if it's pushed directly.
resources that I have available:
we have a windows media server -the one we're using right now, and we also have an adobe flash media server, with full license. we have a flash encoder but so far we haven't been able to figure out how to maintain a screencapture broadcast. it works, but only for about 2 minutes and then the player stops reproduction of the broadcast, however the encoding still goes on.
so, while you can answer my request, if you can talk about your broadcasting experience, on broadcasting screen capture...
I am open to all recommendations and suggestions, and I am thankful to all your responses.

Live Green Screen Broadcast and Record - Which Software and hardware? DESPERATE

I want to setup a stand (for example in a shopping centre) where I can give the opportunity for people to star in their own movie and they will get a DVD straight after them being filmed.
Below is an example of what I mean:
There is a green screen with a toy car, big enough for a child to sit infront of the screen. A parent pays me for their child to star in their own movie. The child sits in the car for 3 minutes playing with the steering wheel and pretending to be in a race. This 3 minutes is recorded on a video camera, as well as the green screen being chromakeyed out showing the child in a race on a big TV that draws the crowds. Straight afterwards the customer is given a DVD of their movie.
further spec needed:
I want high definition footage for the Movie on DVD
I want to be able to record this footage as it is being shot - 4-5minutes from when the child sits in the car to getting the DVD as to maximise income/hour.
I am wanting to know which software of the Production Premium CS 5.5 software will stream it live to the TV and record it on the DVD on the computer - I know that I can stream it to the TV and use a DVD Recorder to tape whats on the TV, but apparently that is unreliable.

None, plain and simple. You are looking completely in the wrong place. And it's not even a mere software problem. As a minor, you would still need a capture card to stream the camera via HDMI or professional video signals (HD SDI, YCbCr Component etc.) to your computer. It's nothing you can do with any standard graphics card. Depending on what else you require, you would probably need more specific hardware like a NewTek Tricaster or whatever...
Ok. I then will break it up. Is there any Prod Prem cs5.5 software that will live stream the chromakey footage to the TV? Surely there is a way to have a live feed from the camera to the computer without the need for hardware and then software that will stream it out to the TV - Apparently Wirecast can do this - does Adobe not have something similar ? I am going to be building a Computer around the above intended use, so a P2 Card Reader was suggested. The budget is R8000, or $800 for the exerything except the monitor.
That's impossible. Per spec, DVD can only record SD PAL/ NTSC. For HD, you would need a BluRay recorder and that's gonna cost you, especially since for what you have in mind only the more expensive BD-RE will do what you want and due to the strict licensing rules, BD recorders are far and few inbetween and thus expensive...

3rd party tool for online EDB repair & live mailbox move - Exchange 2007

Please advise a 3rd party tool, a reliable one that can do live mailbox migrations in Exchange 2007 from a corrupted DB to a new fresh DB?
Also a tool that can do live repair of the DB.
The corrupted DB is mounted but users are facing many issues and the application logs are throwing the below error:

Free exchange for cracked screen iPad - is this real?

So this girl is saying that her boyfriend got his iPad with cracked screen exchanged for free, and he also got his iPhone 5 replaced for 15 times. She posted it on the 9 of November 2012 and the iPhone just came to Australia on the 12th of September 2012. That's only 2 months and he got his iPhone 5 replaced for 15 times. Also my friend got some problem with her iPhone 5 and she came to the store to fix but the people there required her to pay like $130 for fixing cost. Plus another friend of mine also got his iPad screen cracked and they told him to pay like $300 to fix it. How is this even fair?

Unlikely.
However, I know for fact that Apple does make exceptions from their repair policies.
Sure give them a call, be nice about it and see where will that take you. It helps if you've got a lot of Apple stuff...

Exchange sync causing iPhone to crash?

I've been using the 2.0 software since release date and it's been geat. I've had a random downloaded app or two crash, but that's about it. No problems with the main iPhone OS.
Just recently I pulled my iPhone (first gen) out of pocket only to see it stuck at a white apple icon on a black screen. Uh oh. Tried hard resetting it, and ended up getting the connect to iTunes message. Brought it back to my desk, and it told me it was in recovery mode.
I recovered and didn't do a restore from backup. I re-entered in my exchange information which went through fine, then tried to open my contacts, and BLAMMO, back to the apple icon again. I've since restored 7 more times or so, sometimes fresh, sometimes restoring from a backup, and every time it connects to exchange, my iPhone will reset again. It doesn't appear to be contact specific, mail specific, or any single function whatsoever. If I don't input my password, everything is fine. All functions on the iPhone work flawlessly. Then I'll get daring again, go into exchange, enter my password, and back to the logo it goes. Even tried disabling contacts, calendar, and mail sync prior to entering my exchange password and ran into the same problem.
Has anyone else seen this or something similar? I've dropped my iphone a few times but nothing that would make me flinch for it's safety, and all a long while ago. The screen is actually cracked because I knocked it off of an armrest onto stone tile and it fell just the right way ... but it's been like that for the better part of a year so I highly doubt that's the problem.
I brought the iPhone into an apple store and had a genius look at it. He couldn't tell me what was going on but since the iPhone is out of warranty, simply sending it in for troubleshooting on a hardware level would cost me, so I opted to hold out. Since this is a new software revision, he suggested waiting for the next update and seeing what happens. He didn't have an old iPhone I could test on so he let me try entering the information into a 3g phone and it didn't crash it so I don't think it's something incredibly special with what exchange is pushing to the phone, either that or the 3g isn't prone to the problem.
What I know:
Everything exchange worked fine for a week or two before this started happening.
I didn't make any configuration changes or do anything that might deserve note that could cause something like this.
It didn't happen on an iPhone 3g. Haven't tested on another first gen iPhone yet.
It happens every time i re-enable exchange and input my password. Even with contacts, calendar, and mail push all disabled and not opening any of the apps.
I have gmail configured on the phone which works fine.
There is absolutely no other problem with the phone or any of the software on it. It has been rock solid since the day I bought it ... prior to this issue I could count the number of times it's locked up on me (and simply required a reset, not a restore!) on one hand.
I don't know what to do. I live off of exchange now. I need my fix! Has anyone else encountered anything like this? I can wait for a software update and hope it fixes my problem but honestly, getting exchange working for me is so important that if this is somehow a problem unique to my phone it'll be worth shelling out $200 for a 3g. I'd like to avoid it though since I'm quite happy with my old iPhone and don't really need the new features which is why I haven't already shelled out for it!

I don't have very many contacts, and yes, I'm also seeing this problem even if I have contacts and calendar disabled.
This started happening the same day our IT team had a discussion regarding iPhone support and it was determined they did not want to support it ... from the gossip I could gather from the local IT head here there was an offhand comment of "yeah we can prevent that" but they certainly didn't prevent all exchange sync because other phones, both supported and unsupported continue to work.
I know there's a remote wipe feature for the iPhone through exchange, but don't know much else past that. Is it possible to have an automatic remote wipe upon first connection to exchange? I found this video:

I get the same screen the moment I connect to exchange. The only reason why I'm not sure if this really the cause is because I tested on a 3g phone and it worked fine, and I have no reason to believe the 3g is somehow impervious to remote wipe via some software glitch otherwise I think there would be a whole big blowup about it.
I'm going to have a hard time digging up further information from our internal support team ... I'm on hosting which reports to the same CIO and I don't want to get ratted out as doing unsupported stuff! I'm still digging though for more answers.
Are all of you impacted users connecting to WORK? Have any of your workplaces issued formal anti-iphone policies or at least confirmed they ARE or ARE NOT performing a remote wipe?

Play through apple tv while editing? imovie using apple tv as live video monitor

HI. I have imovie HD running on my macbook pro and would like to play back the video i am editing directly through apple tv - while editing - without having to render first - . i know there would be latency - but that would be fine.... is there anyway to do this?????

Are You using iMovie HD6 and want a live full screen video playback during editing ?
If so - that's what I've done all the time since iMovie 1.
BUT - to get this I use either
• a miniDV tape Camera with DV-in - or
• an A/D-box as Canopus ADVC-300
Then in iMovie I set - Playback trough Camera (in iM preferences)
Camera/A/D-box connected via FireWire
To Camera or A/D-box I've connected a reference monitor - but any standard TV will do
A function lost in iMovie'08 to 11 - but also fully functional in FinalCut Express and Pro (How it is in FinalCut Pro X - I DO NOT KNOW - and doubt sincerely - as it feels much more like iMovie X Pro)

Is Windows Azure officially supported for Exchange 2013?

Though Exchange 2013 can be installed on Windows Azure, however can somebody help me in knowing that if its officially supported with it OR can live environment of Exchange be setup on Windows Azure?

Hinte is correct.
You can set up a Exchange 2013 lab in Azure. You may have seen that Henrik Walther has done just that:

But this is just for practice / training.
Besides lack of support, cost of sufficient resources to run E2K13 correctly would be greater than simply using O365 / Exchange Online.

Items from Exchange calendar do not appear in print

Hi,
I've subscribed to an Outlook calendar which lives on an Exchange server. Within iCal (Calendar) this calendar appears in the Exchange group and its items display fine. However, when I print next week's schedule, the Exchange items are not included in the printed page. Furthermore, in the printing dialog, the Exchange group is visible but the calendar is not (and yes, I toggled the visibility switch).
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The extract drag and drop function in live view on Dreamweaver cc isn't working?

I've extracted a PSD mockup into Dreamweaver cc and on the online tutorial it shows you how to drag the elements into the live view, but for me it doesn't allow this, when i drag an element onto the live view screen no icons show up, even though I've set up the div tag containers...
Any help would be appreciated :-)
I'm using Mac OS Yosemite if that helps.

Just make sure you are using Live View for drag and drop as it doesn't work with design view.
Which icon is not showing up? Did you get a text field to edit the asset name if required?

ISE Live Authentications Not Visible

Hi,
I have a single node ISE deployed and have been adding and deleting policies for the past two weeks without issue. It's using our production AD and CA server and connected to NCS. My problem is that today when I was working on a new MAB policy, the policy would let the laptop on the network, but nothing appeared in live authentications screen or the reports. I tried this with both a MAB and 802.1x policy set and both times I logged on with the correct policy, but nothing was showing in the logging. These were both wireless and I had both the authentication and the accounting pointing at ISE. As well as SNMP too.
I forgot to see if the clock was off, but if the authentications are working, I'm not sure why the reporting is not.
Any help would be appreciated.

Is your log target set up?
Admin/System/Logging/Remote Logging Targets/LogCollector
Also if this is a guest wifi setup between a Cisco foreign & anchor WLC, make sure Auth & Accounting are set up on the foreign WLC.
