Live streaming not working using REOPS

I made live streaming work using Live Encoder and a flash player I created with FlvPlayback component. It works fine. Now I like to try live streaming using REOPS. I created a config xml file using similar settings in src/assets/data/Playerconfig_LiveStreaming.xml:

in adobe live encoder, I have setting like this:
URL: rtmp://<myMediaStreamingServerName>:1935/<myapplicationName>/live
stream: livestream
but no matter how hard I tried, it never works for me. I used the same settings for my own player which works fine with live streaming.
Anyone has any ideas on how to make live streaming work with REOPS?

Is the XML a copy/paste? If so you may have a typo in your media url. There
is a space in "liv e". That could be the issue.

Sorry to hear that you are having troubles.
Did you purchase a free trial through the AFL Live Pass Online or did you purchase through IN APP subscription?
Can you please try these troubleshooting steps:
If using your fixed line connection (ADSL, CABLE or NBN), please powercycle your modem and computer: Unplug from power > Leave off for 10 mins > then Plug back in and re start. This will often force a line update through to your modem advising the signal is restored.
Can you then please try clearing your Cache, Cookies and Browser history. To clear these please try the steps below:
From the home screen, tap the Settings button. On the Settings screen, scroll down and tap the Safari button. Under the 'Privacy' section of the Safari screen, tap the button labeled Clear Cookies and Data. On the confirmation screen, tap Clear Cookies and Data.
If still no luck, please try uninstalling and re installing the app from the app store.
Let us know how you go.

ITunes Festival live streaming not working

Every time I go to the iTunes Festival page in the iTunes Store I keep getting the message of:
"This computer does not support iTunes Festival live streaming."
Why not? Does it only work with apple computers (not windows)? I wanna watch Paul Simon!! =D

Lucky for you skalarocks. It's 16th and I still cannot access any of the previosu concerts on iTunes!
I contacted customer support who advised
"I have done some research for you and found that there is a delay in the on demand streaming. "
And then directed me here. I think I am leaning towards an earlier comment about Apple Techs not having a clue.
I suppose they are giving it away so there is no profit in it they wont want to support a fix. Not goign to that much trouble after all skalarocks

ITunes Festival 2012 Live stream not working

Has anyone found a way to watch the itunes festival 2012 live from their PC?

I'm having the same issues. I've tried to get some tech support but can't because the iTunes Store Support don't work weekends. I've had sent 3 emails before I got anything back from Apple/iTunes. I sent out 3 emails this morning; 1st email stated after much frustration I was able to catch the latter 2/3 of Jack White's concert; 2nd email stated that I'm having issues trying to watch the recorded concert of Band of Horses and it will not play; 3rd email was a video of the 30 seconds of the Band of Horses concert that I was able to watch. I'm not holding my breath that Apple will do anything to work out the bugs in their iTunes program so its customers could enjoy the festival.

A quick question. You see, I have been upgrading my computer. I installed a Belkin USB USB Card (high speed 2.0) cause I needed more USB ports. Then I checked for compatable RAM and upgraded my RAM from 512MB to 2Gigs. Everything alright.
Now, I have checked for processors that are compatable with my board K9VGM-V (MS-7253). And MSI's chart says mine is compatable with the AMD Athlon 2x 6000 (3.0Ghz) *IF* I use the 89 watt and not the 125 watt. Here is a good URL for the processor details I found:

I hooked up new iMac to wireless network and now iPad and iPhone do not work using wireless. I am using a Netgear N300 router. Also my Netgear ethernet/homeplug for wireless TV internet no longer works. Any ideas?

On your Mac disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane
and in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

Have used large format, but using the 'burn' software, I am not getting seamless video quality on DVD even though I am burning at 2* speed. Any ideas? Do I need better software? Or is there a problem with the SuperDrive?

Try deselecting the box next to: Automatic Import
in iPhone > Preferences > Photo Stream
Then try deselecting Photo Stream in System Preferences > iClould then reselect to reset.

Hi, I have a iPhone and a Mac and an iCloud account, but why does photo stream not work on 4g, but as soon as I connect to wifi, it send photos to photo stream, can please tell why it does not send photos to photo stream when on 4g, thanks.

The data requirements for sending potentially many photos can be too taxing/costly on a carrier's data plan.

Streaming Live Camera not working

I am very new to FMS and need some pointers on where to go
now i have the product installed.
Currently i have FMS installled on a server and can access
the Flash Media Administration with no problems. I have setup a
webcam on a desktop and used the Adobe Flash Media Converter to
streram the output to the FMS, giving it the FMS URL as
rtmp://<ip address>/live/livestream which connects fine.
Here is where i have the problem. I have run the URL
rtmp:localhost/live/livestream on the FMS server but all it says is
'connecting'. I have also tried running the livetest.html from the
../samples/applications/live directory but this again just shows
'loading' at the bottom of the screen.
This setup really is just a test for me to try and get an
understanding of the FMS etc, what i will really need to do is take
a feed from an IP camera to the FMS and then stream this out to
multiple desktops.
Can anyone help with with the above issue and also proivde
some pointers for me to progress with the live setup.

If FMS, FME(flash media encoder), camera, and livetest are
all on a single machine. then live streaming sample with FMS3 will
work out of the box without even hitting the keyboard. you just
need to make sure that your FMS is up and running. you may check
that using admin console, which shows server uptime.
Bit info on trouble shooting:
when you publish a stream from FME, verify that you press
"start" button (not connect). also check in admin console that the
number of client to Live app should increase by 1 when you press
start and decrease when you press disconnect in FME. Also make sure
to see the bandwidth graph in admin console that there is more
incoming data to live application.
If all of above is fine, just open livetest.html and try. it
should work.
Its better not to try with H.264 encoding option FME in
start. H.264 needs server upgraded to 3.0.1 and flash player to
9.0.124 or higher

My live video streaming is not work properly. I can watch video for a few seconds to a few minutes before it stops. Why??? What can be done to fix this?

I downloaded a new version of the app NDTV , but the problem still persists .
I am using iPhone 5 .
Please advise, if there are any specific updates you are pointing to . Because I dont have any pending updates showing in App store

I'm not sure if this belongs in the AS3 forum or the streaming forum, but here it is.
I wrote a pair CS3/AS3 players to send and receive a live video stream (webcam) from a browser. The first is called broadcaster. It makes a NetConnection to my server, publishes a stream and attaches the camera and microphone. This works fine. The stream is live.
The second is originally called receiver. Using an instance of flash.media.video on the stage it also makes a NetConnectin, attaches a stream and calls play. This also works, BUT the receiver stream is not live. It starts playing at time=0 like a VOD.

How can the receiver not obey the -1, -1 parameters especially if the broadcaster is not recording on the server. How can i see the beginning of the stream!
I believe I read that the flash plugin 9.0+ uses the on2 codec, and I also saw some discussion about on2 not able to stream live -- or not live from the browser plugin, only the flash media encoder.
Can anybody tell me what is going on?

I tried streaming with the Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder3 instead of my Broadcater.swf. This connects fine and pushes h.264 no problem.
But the reciever is still seeng VOD not Live video.
Is there something wrong with my receiver?

NBCSports Live Extra not working for F1

Why can't I access NBCSports streaming Live Extra service? I tried to watch the Formula One qualifying today and logged in like you're supposed to, but all it does after the "loading" spinner is kick me back out to the "You're only two steps away from Live Extra!" page. Please explain.

Live Mesh is afaik no longer supported and can't be used anymore by new users.
In WIndows Phone 8 use the backup feature (Settings>Backup), Settings, SMS messages, contacts, Calendar entries and your app list will be restores when you reset the phone and go through the Device First use sequence. It is important that your carrier has the settings for Internet on the SIM otherwise this will not work. Make sure you have transferred all media files to either SkyDrive or your PC through Explorer (Using MTP) or the available Windows phone app(Mac or PC).
If you have a Windows Phone 7.x device your Contacts and Calendar entries are synced to their respective accounts and will be synced back when you set up the phone after a reset. SMS/MMS messages and most app settings will unfortunately be lost. Media files should be synced to your PC using Zune or Mac using the Windows Phone app (in Mac appstore).
Apps can be reinstalled using the app ReInstaller.
