Live View Preview is only available with...

When I select preview 'server' from the Browser Lab panel in Dreamweaver I get this message:
"Live View Preview is only available with BrowserLab Local/Network preview option, please select the Local/Network preview option."

Yes this behavior is 100% correct, and what you observed about it only working if you toggle Live View off is what the error message was trying to tell you.
I'll try to explain - in Dreamweaver's Live View mode you can interact with your page "freeze" the javascript in intermediate states. The information about those states is only contained on the local machine. So if you were to perform a server preview from DW while in Live View, the page would only be in the base/default state in the screenshot captured by BrowserLab. So the only way BrowserLab can get the properly get the info about the intermediate state you've navigated to is if you choose the Local/Network preview option.
I suppose we could have implemented things so that it would not show you that message if you haven't done any interactions with your page in Live View, but I think that would actually be more confusing, as it would sometimes work and sometimes not work. And even if we could automatically switch over to Local/Network mode for BrowserLab while you're in DW's Live View mode, we probably wouldn't because we want that to be a choice made explicitly by our users.

Why Does Live View In DW Not Work With BC Template?

The live view using a BC template in DW CS6 shows "PAGE NOT FOUND" in the body section but the header and footer look fine. I should also point out that the index.htm page works fine, it's just the other pages that have this problem. What makes it weirder is that the site works fine in all other modes including when viewing in a normal browser, it's ONLY when in live view! I also noticed that if I delete the .htm extension in the url in the DW browser when in Live View it fixes the problem, but this requires me to do this everytime I want to switch to live view and surely is either a problem with how the BC template files are named or DW CS6 is buggy? Hopefully this is an easy one to answer??

Hello all!
I'm using SAP .NET Connector for integration between .NET application and SAP System.
When I try to work with standard document bapi methods like BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKIN or BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKOUTVIEW, I get an error in out RETURN parameter - I::001 Only available with the RFC library from 4.0C onwa
Please, help if you know how to solve this issue. Any help appreciated, and thanks in advance for the help.

D20 now only available with Windows and SATA...??

As of this morning, the Lenovo Thinkstation D20 on the US site is only available with Windows and SATA hard drives. It used to have SAS drives and DOS available.
They may just be low on inventory, or maybe... ?

Kind of funny you mention this as a few of my team members and I were digging through the CTO site today. Considering the crazy number of various parts/options that we have qualified for the S/C/D 20 platforms, there are a ton of omissions on the CTO site. I know they pull some various options from time to time because of inventory or end of life concerns, but the configs that were showing up today as available really made no sense. Unfortunately there's not a lot I can do from my side to get this resolved other than raise the complaint. I'll see what I can do though.

Live View & Preview query

Hi, I'm not sure what is happening or how it can happen. I am building a test site (6 pages, php, text and images only) with horizontal menu.
Current problem seems impossible to me but I know there must be a cause and solution. Hoping someone has seen this before.
1. Using Live View I preview index. Looks good.
2, Move onto preview in FFox, IE9 and Chrome.
3. FFox renders same as Live View - great
Now the problems:
4. IE9 and chrome rendered the same: menu displayed as a vertical text list rather than horizontal list with hover and image background; one DIV showing different images for links
5. after 20 minutes, and a strong cup of coffee, IE is displaying correctly - menu list is horizontal with hover and background showing; images are correct. Machine has not been touched, only me here!
6. Chrome still displaying text list and different image links.
I kid you not, has anyone seen anything like this before?
I am an 'average' coder but am totally flumoxed by this. Single folder layout, single copies of each file. sequential clicks in Dreamweaver.
Any ideas most appreciated. I am going to double check and trace everything again in case I have made a 'stupid' error but I don't think this is the case.

I was searching for an iphone 5 on the Irish apple store and it doesn't seem to be for sale. I was also looking at the 4s and it only seems to be available with 8GB ,why is that also?

I have achieved matches for tracks/albums that are not available in the UK store. If the track is on Apples server, there is a chance that you will get a match even though not available in local iTunes store.

Some projects view suddenly only available with multi. photos? in

Aperture 3 view cycles now (i.e. pressing V cycles through the three available views) in some projects (not all) are available only with multiple photos, even when selecting split screen (bottom of screen has strip of multiple shots, but there are also multiple above the split) and can't get full screen without multiple shots being present. This is occuring in just a few of my eight or so projects. I should mention my 2yr old grandson has been fooling around again! This is confusing to discribe. Sorry about that.

Yes, your post is confusing... but it sounds like multiple photos have been selected. Try doubleclcking on one photo only - does it come up on the screen okay? (don't use fullscreen mode, just normal Aperture). Now cycle using V - does that change anything?

Why is Noise Reduction only available with some raw files

I have been going through my CRW, CR, and CR2 raw files and have noticed that some, when opened in ACR, do not allow me to adjust all the parameters in Noise Reduction. I thought it might be ISO related, but with a group of identically created raw files, some have full Noise Reduction adjustments while the next file will not. The only group that offers full adjustment with all files are the newer CR2 files captured with a 5D Mark II. Older 5D and 10D raw files are a hit and miss.

Another way is to just go into the Camera Calibration tab and select the 2010 process.

If you need built-in GPS capability then yes - though there are some stand-alone GPS units that apparently work with it e.g. Bad Elf (I haven't got it so I don't know how good it is).

I have the newest librfc32.dll in my System32 folder (Version 7110.0.46.6208). Where is the problem? Can it be a problem on the application server or something?

Note 885058 indicates that the problem is resolved with the latest
RFC and ICU files. The RFC library is contained in the RFCSDK, please
ensure that you are using the latest SDK, it can be downloaded from the
following location:
Support Packages and Patches
    ==> Additional Components
          ==> SAP NW RFC SDK
               ==> SAP NW RFC SDK 7.10
                    ==>Your OS
ICU libraries can be downloaded from service market place as part of
sap kernel. There are contained in the complete package sapexe.car
& in a seperate package UCLIB.sar
-> service.sap.com/patches
-> Entry by application group
-> additional component
-> SAP Kernel [ select the correct versions] & download the file
The naming convention of the library files varies depending on the
operating system, they may be called
"libicuuc.so.26", "libicuuc.sl.26", "libicuuc26.so" or "icuuc26.dll",
for example. You must therefore adjust the unpacking statements
accordingly.
Unpack the library to the temporary directory & then move it to the
kernel directory ("/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run").
Caution: Make sure that the libicu* libraries do not overwrite any
existing files.
Once you are using the latest RFC and ICU files you should be ok.

How do I stop my pictures from doubling when I look in the "photo view". This only started with ios7, and im pretty sure its because my photos are both in my iphoto library and on my camera roll. Help!

Ever since I upgraded to ios 7, i can not look in the photos tab, because every one of my pictures appears twice. I know its because my iphoto library from my computer and my camera roll are being put together, however there must be a way to not have doubles. Help on this issue please!

Well never figured out how to go around this, but I did just manually do it in photoshop. My middle grey and white cards must not be right.

No, you will have to double press each time on the lock screen to bring back the camera button.

Editing disabled in Live View

I've been scouring the web trying to figure out why I'm unable to edit thing in Live View with Dreamweaver CC. When I click the Live button everything in Properties and Insert etc. is disabled. All the tutorials I've seen for Dreamweaver CC everyone is adding/subtracting elements in the Live View but for me it's all greyed out and not possible. I've looked for options to enable editing in live view, but I can't find it anywhere in dreamweaver. Please help!

Live View editing is only available in CC 2014.1 (October release).
If you have an earlier version, CC 2014 or CC 13, you won't have that option.

How do you configure Dreamweaver to accept PHP in live view when set up with a local testing server (ie., localhost:8888) via MAMP (not MAMP Pro)? My site shows up in the browser, but not in DM live view. Thanks.

I am using a Macbook Pro with Yosemite and cannot get live view to work in conjunction with my local server or with my php files.
What could be wrong? I have set up/synced everything with my root folder in htdocs.
