Live Wireless with other webcams?

As those of that own the Creative Live! Wireless webcam know, the image quality is quite low. I love the portability of the embedded server, but does anyone know if this will work with other higher quality webcams? I tried my older (but higher quality) logitech webcam but the server did not recognize it. Has anyone tried other creative brand cameras? Any luck? It would be great if the server could support a wide variety of cameras, this would extend the life of the server, allowing you to upgrade the cameras as higher quality ones become available.
As a side note, can this server stream two webcams at once? What about support for a USB hub and more then two webcams?

I haven't tried other cameras. I don't know if they would work. I suspect that the driver(s) in the server can only work with limited devices. Nonetheless the life of the server is tempered even more so by the CreativeDDNS issue. For a while now the DDNS registration used in the Creative Li've Wireless Server is not working correctly. Connecting wirelessly with other computers including pcs in my home network

my home network is set up wirelessly through my linksys router with 2 pcs (vista) an ibook and an iMac. My pc recognizes the iMac but when I go to open the public folder it says "Windows cannot access...". When I run diagnostics, it says make sure you typed the path correctly (I have) and you have permission to access the shared folder (I think I do.) I have enable file sharing dvd sharing, screen sharing, file sharing, printer sharing and web sharing.

You might look over the articles in Mac Help regarding Windows-based comps. Perhaps they would shed light on perhaps a misconfiguration in the networking.
Mac Help is in the Help menu of the Finder. Select the index (upper right) and go to W/Windows-based computers.

Using HP8500 wireless with other Macs but iPad2 does not see the printer on the network .. what needs to be done for the iPad to see the HP printer?

iPad2 doesn't see HP8500 wireless printer .. other Macs (Air & Mini) have no trouble printing ..

Same with mine. MacBook and pc both print fine but not my ipad2.

Can no longer connect wirelessly with other computers

I have an iMac and a Macbook Air. For some reason I can no longer connect wirelessly between the two. They don't show up in Finder. Therefore I can't use "Remote Disk" on my Macbook Air to install programs.
Recently I switched from using an Airport router to a Cisco router. Could this be the problem? I can still connect to the internet through my wireless network, but can't find my computers.

All the information you need is printed on the back of the Hub. There are two passwords, one for the Wireless setting (WPA password) and one for access to the hub (Admin password).

If you have forgotten what you changed the admin password to, then I'm afraid you're lost and you should factory reset your Hub:

Creative Live wireless webcam - DDNS or any other outside access doesn't work

Bought the Creative Live Wireless webcam. Works inside my network, but DDNS server offered by Creative has been down for weeks now, so I can't use this service. The remote IP access also does not work, since the webcam doesn'y assign a remote IP (it states 0.0.0.0).
No support infor on Creative web page at all, they don't even list the product. I feel like this is all a big scam....
Can anyone provide insight in how to the this product to work?

Did you get an auto response to your e-mail? Once a request arrives a response goes out automatically. If you didn't get that, check your spam filter first as the reply may be stuck there.

Help with Creative WebCam Live! Ultra for Notebooks.

I have trouble with my camera and the Live! Cam Doodling software. The program say that the camera is not supported. Is there anyway that i not have an Live! camera model. On the backside of the camera the model number is : VF0070 Thanks in advance.

I'm afraid your Live! Ultra webcam isn't compatible with the Live! Cam Doodling software.

I can not reactivate my DDNS service after having reinstalled my Creative Live Wireless Webcam

Hi,
After having changed my wireless router's network key, I had to change of course also the key
stored in my Creative Live Wireless Internet Camera setup. To do
this, I have deleted my cam definitions and did a scratch install after
resetting. However now I can not register my URL name anymore and DDNS is
disabled. The setup wizard says that it could not connect to the server to
register my host name (in fact this name is already registered by me before) and that I should try again. I attempted numerous times, no help!
The IP adress of my Creative Wireless Cam is 92.68..250, it is exactly the same as it
was before. My registered URL was "goztepe.creativeddns.com" and remote monitoring?was working?
with these parameters without any problem, which are still the same as before, I did not change them.
How should I reactivate my DDNS service? Maybe a reset or something alike is needed on the Creative Server which is doing the URL registrations? I would appreciate any help because I
am not able to access my cam from remote anymore!

I have tried reseting the network settings and forgetting my wireless connection and re-connecting to it. I even backed up my phone on itunes and restored it, factory reseted it. Nothing seems to work.
Also after my upgrade to ios 8.1 my personal hotspot option under cellular data has disappeared.
Would you please help me out? I would really appreciate it.

Sharing files with other members of my family on the wireless network

I would like to share my files with other members of my family on the wireless network. Unfortunately, their pcs are MS Windows OS and connected in workgroup type while I am on Mac. I can access internet via the same wireless router but cannot see other members. Can someone advise How I can accomplish it. Thanks!

Can creative webcam software be used with other cameras?

i have numerous cameras on my network several creative labs and several non-creative labs (generic).
Can the Creative labs webcam software be used on these other generic cameras ?

I can't broadcast with the built in iSight webcam... how would I zoom in or zoom out? or how would I pan? I've seem people doing it walking with their laptops but that's not an option for me... there's nothing wrong with my USB ports but that's neither an option to stream video because as far as I know through USB you can't connect video in apple operating systems ..you can for sure plug any video cam or photo camera through usb but as a drive to transfer data not as a live video camera... is by firewire an old interface developed by apple that you can connect all sorts of cameras to apple computers... unfortunately my new sony HDR-AX2000 camcorder doesn't have firewire output...

Disabled scan functionality of HP Officejet 4500 Wireless with 10.9.1. HP says this printer is not supported for 10.9. Is there a solution?

HP Officejet 4500 Wireless with 10.9.1 - Problem is not the printer, just the scanner. The scanner seems to be working but the saved files are not good images, just a bunch of scanned lines. My printer shows up under Preferences>printers and Scanners.
I have found a clumsy work around - accessing the scanner under Preferences>printers and Scanners allows me to produce a savable file. Problem is I loose functionality provided in the standard HP mode. Specifically I cannot change the image size. Doing that under Preferences>printers and Scanners just makes the window around the picture larger, it doesn't scale the image itself.
My HP connection is strictly with USB, I do not use the wireless feature.
HP tells me this printer is no longer supported for 10.9 Maverick. Is there anything else I can do to regain the scalable image size functionality with this printer/operating system combo?

every thing went good and i could see my webcam broadcast from my machine through my web site but unfortunately I can't see it from any other machine
I'm using Microsoft windows XP SP2
and flash media live encoder 3
but my web server run UNIX
is this a problem???
