Livecycle crashes and won't save

I am creating a form and Livecycle keeps crashing and then it tells me "Failed to save the file". While I am using Vista, I also installed it on my laptop which is using XP.
I have 2 problems:
1. when I am trying to change a text box name and try to save it, it won't save.
2. after the program closes, the file is gone...no longer a 'valid file name' even though I have saved it many times.
First, it started doing this some of the time. Now, it crashes just about everytime I try to edit my form. I have to keep copying my file using several different file names so I don't lose all my work.
I have tried to reinstall Adobe Pro but it does not solve the problem.  Any suggestions?

Do you have Adobe Reader installed?  If you do, you'll need to uninstall Reader and Acrobat Pro.  Reboot and reinstall Acrobat Pro and check for updates.

It's a 64G ipod touch and was fine till Apple told me to upgrade to ios 6.  Now most of my apps crash, my music won't play and I just get a white screen when I hit Music.
When I try to sync to itunes it acts like it's going to sync and appears to recognize the ipod, but it's grayed out and has an update circle by it that spins for a while until itunes eventually freezes alltogether.  Is there a  way to go back to ios 5 after a erase and reset?

I installed iTunes on my Dell PC running Windows 7 and now Internet Explorer crashes and won't run. Are there any known conflicts, or likely issues that may be causing this?
I've rebooted, and the iTunes program seems to operate fine. I used it to upgrade my iPad's OS to 8.1.3.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    Thank you!

Well, I hadn't rebooted after the 7.1.1 upgrade, but obviously I had to restart iTunes. After I rebooted my iBook iTunes worked... Maybe the 7.1.1 update should be marked with a must reboot?

  • PS CS3 Crashes and Won't Force Quit

Using Mac OS X 10.5.2 and latest PS. PS crashes and won't force quit. I have to reboot. Then after opening PS again and barely start editing a file (nothing else is running and I have 4GB ram) PS crashes again.
Also the reset password function on the Adobe site refuses to work and I can't get any support. This is getting really frustrating.

I assume you trashed your preferences? Look in your user Library/Preferences folder and delete your com.adobe.Photoshop.plist file where your preferences are stored. Other than that, I have no clue. Did you try editing different files to see if it could be just that one file giving you problems? I have been using PS CS3 for the past three days, and I have noticed a lot of instability which I didn't have with PS 7. Of course, new machine, new programs, I was expecting a few glitches, but hopefully the dust will settle soon and my workflow will become stable again.

trial download for photoshop crashed and won't let me download. how can i get the free trial?

What means "crashed", and "won't let me"?
    Anyway, download it from http://www.adobe.com/downloads.html
Usually I would recommend to download the direct downloads from http://prodesigntools.com/tag/ddl, but it seems the site is currently down.

  • My phone recently crashed and won't turn back on.

My phone ( iPhone 5c, IOS 7.3 ) recently crashed and won't turn back on. I randomly looked at my phone and there were green and red horizontal lines flickering. My immediate thought was to try to turn it off, so i could try to turn it back on. I held the home and power button down and the screen went black. When i tried turning it back on ( holding power button ) there was no response. For the past day, my phone hasn't been responding to anything.
(A day before the crash my phone cracked from a serious fall onto a concrete floor without a case I do not know if this has any relation to the crash )

It most likely has a lot to do with your crash.
Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
       1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
       2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
                  * If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
      3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
charge, and then start with step 2 again.
      4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
When this screen appears you can release the Home button:
      5. If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the following "recovery mode" alert:
      6. Use iTunes to restore the device.
If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.
If this doesn't help, then make a Genius Appointment and take it in for service.
Note: When using recovery mode, you can only restore the device. All user content on the device will be erased, but if you had previously synced with iTunes on this computer, you can restore from a previous backup. See this article for more information.

ATTN: Beginning July 2013 Apple Stores are now equipped to do screen repairs/replacements in-house on iPhone 5 and 5C. In some cases while you wait. According to Apple this is the beginning of equipping Apple Stores with the resources needed to do most repairs for iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches that would not require major replacements. Later in the year the services may be extended as Apple Stores become equipped and staffed with the proper repair expertise. So, if you need a screen repaired or a broken screen replaced or have your stuck Home button fixed, call your local Apple Store to see if they are now doing these in-house.

  • Itunes 10.5 crashes and won't sync my iphone

I have downloaded the software udpate on my Mac Mini that I use to sync my iPhone with.  It offered me an update to iTunes and the iPhone.  I backed up the iPhone and transferred purchases whilst it was downloading the iOS update.  It then updated the phone OS but here is the crunch.  When it then booted the phone iTunes crashes, it won't sync any apps, it won't sync my music, it is as if the phone is new out the box so I have lost all of my settings.
I am not very impressed or very happy.
Also if I now go into iTunes the backup that I took yesterday or previous ones are no longer there so I can't even try a restore to previous backups, they are missing from the list to restore from so I am stuffed.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.

  • Adobe Presenter CRASHES and won´t open anymore

I am already with Adobe Presenter 8.1 (64 bits) and with Office 2013. Whenever I start recording a powerpoint presentation, with myself in the webcam (Logitech c-920), something happens that avoids me to record with my webcam again. After the crash, if I open Adobe Presenter (not through Powerpoint - but through the desktop shortcut), nothing happens...my webcam does not start and Adobe presenter simply does not open. I ran as administrator...nothing. Even through powerpoint, adobe presenter won´t record anymore. The only way to solve this is UNINSTALLING adobe presenter and installing it again. Then I can use it once more till the next crash. There is something wrong and I just can´t figure out what it is. Help!

    The problem in detail:
    - Open Powerpoint 2013 presentation
    - Open Adobe Presenter through Powerpoint
    - record
    - publish
    - ok...
Closes. Next time, it won´t open anymore...
If I only open Adobe presenter (before the crash) and open preferences (to choose webcam, microphone, etc.) it will crash in the very moment I close the preferences window.
My office 2013 is 32 bits. Is there an Adobe Presenter 8.1 32bits? Would that be the problem?

  • Safari crashed, and won't relaunch

Yesterday I was browsing a site called Veoh.com, which is similar to YouTube and uses flash files (.flv). First I downloaded their Veoh Player, and then began downloading some flash files to view on that player. After getting one download started, I stacked up about 4-5 more behind the first one. These files were about 350-400 MB each.
The first and maybe the second file downloaded successfully, but at some point after that, my Safari browser crashed and wouldn't relaunch. Now I find that the Veoh player won't launch again either. In addition, I downloaded and tried to run some other media software (something called TubeSock and another called ffmpegX_0.0.9), and neither of them will launch either. All of the affected programs do the same thing: I double-click them, they bounce on the dock as if to launch, and then immediately shut down again.
Other applications don't seem to be affected. I've rebooted the computer twice and the problem persists.
The goal I had in mind before these crashes was to convert the .flv files to .avi files, hence the other software programs listed above.
Safari 2.0.4 is the browser I was doing my downloads with, and it's the only one not working. IE Explorer, Firefox, and AOL's browser are still working fine. My current OS is 10.4.9.
One other question I have is that after I download the Veoh flashfiles onto my hard drive, I need to be able to locate them afterwards so that I can do the conversions. Does anyone know which folder they might ultimately wind up in?

I don't know a lot about how the Veoh player works, but I was guessing that the downloaded files were somehow integrated into the player itself.
I did do a search with the finder looking for anything with a .flv, and initially it did find the downloadedfile, but a moment later the title disappeared and was replaced by something that ended with Safari "weblog", if I remember correctly.
I'll have to wait until I get Safari back up and running before I can try your spotlight suggestion.

  • I phone crashed and won't start up, even after connecting it to my mac, and tried the 10 sec. holding the power and home button

my iPhone 4 crashed and the screen froze, so i pushed the power key to turn it off. But it won't start up again. I tried the 10 sec. holding with the power and home button, and connected it to my laptop, but it still won't start up. what should i do?

Is there anything at all on the screen? Try this procedure:
Plug your device into the original charger & block in a wall outlet and leave it alone for a couple of hours. Then, while it is still plugged in, restart it by holding down the home button and the power button for 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple, then let go.
