LiveCycle Designed pdf forms not working on Macs

I have designed pdf forms with LiveCycle Designer, enabling Reading Rights. These forms have extensive interactive capabilities, including calculations, locking fields on demand, etc.
They work perfectly on Windows, as long as the user has Adobe Reader 8 or 9. However, I discovered recently that they do not open properly on Macs, and that Mac users cannot fill all the fields, cannot use the buttons (such as jumping to another page), and that the calculations or "if" conditions do not perform at all.
Is there an extension or program that Mac users can download in order to be able to use these forms? I would hate to have to change the 100 or so forms already done.

Thanks for coming back. I'm using the latest version (the 2014 update).
I've sent you a screenshot of what it looks like when trying to convert to interactive pdf.
Funny thing was it was working fine until a few tweaks and then decided to do its own thing.
I've created loads of forms before through Indesign but this error is bizzare

Interactive .pdf form not working

After converting an Acrobat 6.0 document with LiveCycle Designer, it still does not allow any input to the text fields or printing the document or sending it by email. Can anyone please guide me in the right direction? http://www.naturewisetv.org/survey.htm. Also, since it was created in Acrobat 6.0, how do I remove the alert messages that it needs a newer version of Acrobat?

Don't view the document in PDF/A mode.
Do view this LiveCycle Designer created form you need at least Adobe Reader 7..

PDF form not working in Reader 7.0.5

Hello!
We had created PDF form with Adobe Designer to work with Acrobat Reader 7. It contains a submit button to send XML with results via e-mail.
This form works fine with Reader 7.0.0., but not with version 7.0.5. - in the latter version the submit button doesn't work.
Any clues?

Interactive PDF form not working in webbrowser

hi ,
I created an interactive pdf document using Adobe InDesign CS6, before its links were not working from the master page, then i put links with via bookmarks.
Now another problem created, i upload this file and when i open on web browser, its links do not work and there is also a problem for logo , its show bad color of logo.
Anybody knows this solution ???

If the PDF will be viewed in a browser, you will need to use a navigation method other than bookmarks, they do work in browsers w-PDF plugin. You can use links such as text anchors, page destinations and shared destinations.
As for the bad color issue, this can be many things, PDF export setting used, transparency on page or image, colorspace conversion, etc. and more details will be needed.

.pdf form not working online?

We created a survey with a Acrobat 6.0 form but it is either not visible to some or will not allow others to fill in the text forms. The URL is http://www.naturewisetv.org/survey.htm and I am attaching the file itself. Any help will be greatly appreciated (REALLYY).

I've created a PDF fillable form with Indesign CS5, which works on desktop devices, but the 'Form Field Titles' did not appear when the PDF is viewed on an Android Tablet. Does anyone have a similar problem?

Calculate function in interactive pdf form not working

I've created a simple form with a calculation (add), it worked fine first time around. Second time, I go to Calculate > Pick...; I select which three fields to add, the checkmark appears in the boxes, but then when I hit "Okay", nothing appears in the "Value is..." box. Driving me crazy.

So I turned on the JS console (after looking up what that meant) and then opened up some sort of debugging window and now it worked. Thank you for making the suggestion! : ) happy now.

I am attempting to protect a PDF file which was created in LiveCycle Designer. I get the error below

ADOBE AIR for offline applications or Adobe LiveCycle Designer Offline form

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement of recreating the XK01 Customer Master Creation functionality and host it as online application in SAP Netweaver Enterprise Portal. I have done this by creating a Web Dynpro ABAP application and embedding a adobe livecycle designer interactive forms (having same fields as required for Customer Master creation in XK01). In online scenario, the PDF form opens up in browser. In offline scenario, the user can fill up the form and upload the form using UPLOAD button created in the Web Dynpro application. There has been some performance issues like if we have too many dropdown UI elements in the form (having many entries in each), then the form takes too much time to get uploaded.
Can we think of a alternate solution using Adobe AIR desktop application which will enable the user to fill up the form in AIR like User interface. I am new to Adobe Flex and Adobe AIR.
The online scenario perfectly fine with Adobe LiveCycle Designer Forms and SAP ABAP Web Dynpro application. It's offline functionality where its performance hasnt been up to the mark.
Also let me know if Adobe AIR can be used in the offline scenario while ADOBE forms in online scenarion or is it mandatory to have AIR AND FLEX in offline and online scenario respectively.
Please advise.

Fillable forms not working all the time

I have many PDF forms that work for some people and not for others. I have tried different browsers and different machines some with Adobe reader some with professional. When users hit the submit button sometimes the forms go to the correct email and other times nothing happens. I have also enabled extended features for reader. I can't seem to find any logical explanation. Any suggestions?

You mention browsers... Many browsers nowadays use their own PDF plugin, even if Acrobat or Reader are installed, and unfortunately many of these plugins are sub-par, especially when it comes to scripts and form fields. You need to make sure that the files are always opened using Adobe software, not any of these built-in PDF viewers.

My own built fullscreen mode flv player is not working in Mac OS

I built a flv player, it is just a normal video player with a
fullscreen mode.
The video player is work fine in Window IE, FF, and Safari.
But not not working in Mac OS X, leopard & tiger &

I am running Mac OS X 10.10.1 Yosemite and iPhoto Version 9.6 (910.29). Automatic updates in the Mac App Store is turned on for my iMac and it shows no updates available. I was told directly by Apple Support on the date that I wrote this article (Nov 8, 2014) that there were no Canon drivers and photo transfer software that worked with Yosemite. I was told by Canon that the workaround was to change the communication method from Normal to PTP on the camera, which did provide a solution. At that time I was running Mac OS X 10.10 (because the 10.10.1 update was not yet available) and the most up-to-date version of iPhoto for Mac OS X 10.10 that was available at that time, at least per the Mac App Store. With the Mac OS X 10.10.1 update if the camera is in PTP communications mode the thumbnails now appear in the Import screen in iPhoto almost immediately. If the camera is returned to Normal communications mode; however, it takes forever for the thumbnails to appear. I have been waiting 10 minutes and iPhoto has generated only 14 thumbnails. So it appears that there is still something not working properly between the original Canon EOS Digital Rebel and Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 when the communications mode on the camera is set to Normal.
