LiveCycle Designer ES2 - There are no pages selected to print Error

I have recently updated by forms to liveCycle Designer ES2 and Adobe Acrobat X. We are experiencing an issue with printing the form that was updated to use ES2. When send it to the printer we get 2 error messages and it doesn't print. First Error: "The Document could not be printed" Second Error: "There were no pages selected to print".
I am not sure way I am getting these errors now but it is becoming a large issue. Other PDFs not created in liveCycle Designer ES2 print fine. Also it is not just one computer that doesn't print it is at least 20 computers (windows 7, adobe reader 10.1).
Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone have any tips on how to resolve this? My LiveCycle form is a dynamic form. It seems like livecycle Designer ES2 has corrupted it or designer ES2 has a bug that makes reader and acrobat print engine not recognize the pages.

After a sucessfull install, why am I receiving the "This document could not be printed", and "There are no pages selected to print" errors after a restart?

I have ran into this issue a few times and I don't think the reinstall is the problem. I have some End Users who are telling me they can't print from the IE. Our environment uses IE8 to print forms. I will install the application ( Adobe Reader XI ) and it will work fine for that day. Once they restart, the errors appear and they can no longer print. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Two things to try: open Adobe Reader | Edit | Preferences
Documents: change 'View documents in PDF/A mode' to Never
Security (Enhanced): uncheck 'Enable Protected Mode at Startup'

I am using a Mac and I'm running the latest versions of OS X 10.6.8 and Adobe 11.0.10 but I'm unable to print. I need REAL HELP not a suggestion or a get around! and NO print as an image doesn't work, nor do I see that as a fix!

Ther Are No Pages Selected to Print with PDFs - Suddenly!

I have an old 840c Deskjet. I have always downloaded and printed PDFs for my husband's business and two weeks ago when I began work, the printer would NOt print any PDFs whether they be online or on my desktop.

Am using a MAC desktop and a Cannon PIXMA MX922 printer.
I need to print this form now that it is filled out? What can I do?

Acrobat Pro 9.4.1
I am getting this error when printed from certain PDF files. My best guess is it is a font conflict because if I change the font in the document and re-export the file the document prints fine. But changing the font (and it happens with multiple fonts) is not an option.
Most of my documents are very large (up to 1,500 pages) and I use an InDesign plug in to merge data to create my PDFs.
I can print the document out of InDesign CS3 without any problems. If I open the file in Apple's Preview it prints or if I log out and log back in under a different user it prints.
But when this documents are printing out of acrobat I get those errors. It won't print to any of my mupliple printers (USB or network).
Spent an hour on the phone with Adobe today and got no answers at all. They are telling me it a corrputed user issue. (that is only effected in acrobat when printing certain documents.... OK).
With all the messing around I have done I'm guessing it has something to do with certain fonts during the export of the PDF from InDesign.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please let me know. I have been fighting with this issue for a while now and today it is causing a major issue.
Just let me know if you need any additional information and thanks in advance for your help.

Anyway, I got mine to work by going to Preferences - Print & Fax. I selected my printer and clicked Options & Supplies. Under the driver tab I changed the "Print Using:" box to Generic PostScript Printer. I'm not sure if this is what you are supposed to do. I'm not an expert but it worked for me so I am going with it.

I have a file that is 2.52MB and when I go to print it it gives me the error box "The document could not be printed" I click OK and get "There were no pages selected to print" I made sure that I chose the All pages button. I also tried the Pages and selected all the pages. But here is the funny part. I have Adobe Profesinal and I have converted imged PDF' to searchable PDF's meany times. Although the original document was already searchable I ran the convertion tool on the original searchable PDF and now the file is 33.5MB and now I can print this document. Is there a security tool that was added to the original document?

Hi, when i try to print a pdf document by reader 9, I meet the following errors:
First Message:The document don't possible to be print. Click ok button.
Second Message:There is'nt page selected to print.Click ok buton.
I can only choice the ok button, and when I click it the page don't send to a printer.

Hi eBiagio, the same happened to me today, in our company we have several manufaturing plans in PDF format and pages are being added on a weekly basis. Today a 13 pages document reported that error, the problem was a damaged page, you may want to check via the thumbnails feature is all pages are ok within the document. If so restore a copy to fix the issue.

Printing error messsage "The document could not be printed","There were no pages selected to print"

Two error messages "The document could not be printed", followed by "There were no pages selected to print" pops up when printing a PDF document to a HP designJet 750c+ from a windows 7 machine if "process on Computer" option is chosen from the Advanced tab. It works fine from an xp machine. I have tried on both PDF versions 9.0.0 and XI.
If "process on computer" option is not chosen, then it prints fine but it takes atleast 10- 15 min for the plotter to print.
Any Suggestions???

Things to try:
Select print as image in the print menu.
In Reader go to Edit>Preferences>Documents>View documents in PDF/A mode and set it to "Never".
Remove and reinstall your print driver.
Repair your Reader installation.

I am so sorry for the inconvenience caused, lets try to resolve your issue.
Try the "Print as Image" option. Click the Advanced button in the Print dialog box to find this option. Maybe that specific PDF is not well formed.

Printing error: The document could not be printed. There are no pages selected.

I know this has been asked multiple times by different people with different scenarios but none of the troubleshooting has yet worked for me.
I have a PDF document that has been exported directly out of InDesign that gives me the above message. If I print the document one page at a time, it prints just fine. But if I print it as a whole document, or if I select a subset of pages, it gives me the No Pages Selected error (even when said subset of pages will print individually). I have tried exporting the document using various settings, I have tried converting any embedded documents to images first, I've copied the original InDesign file and tried exporting out of the copy, I have saved the PDF as an optimised PDF with all private application data removed etc, I've tried printing off other computers, I have even tried some of the apparent fixes that have worked for other users. Nothing has worked so far. All other documents that I print work fine, it is quite literally a single PDF that will not print.
I'm running Creative Cloud for PC and all drivers are up to date.
Any ideas?

I am running into this well-known issue with several documents, but unfortunately none of the fixes I have come across have worked. Some background:
-Using Windows 7 Pro
-Happening with both Adobe Reader XI and Acrobat X, clean installs. and happening on multiple computers, with multiple printers, with multiple domain users.
-Have tried repairing both installations, no success.
-Have tried disabling protected view, changing size of the fit, letting printer determine colors, printing in greyscale, changing setting for "view documents in PDF/A mode" to "never."
-Print as image works, but quality is unacceptable.
-It seems to be isolated mainly to Xerox printers, as I have no issues printing to an HP printer. I am trying different models of Xeroxes with no success, however. I have reinstalled printer driver and verified updated driver for all, issue persists. Printer models are Xerox ColorQube 8700X and 9203
-The PDFs are from different sources, so I can't pinpoint it to one website. Documents contain various financial info, so I can't post here. Any help would be appreciated. I'm probably going to have to try a different pdf reader for these, but that is not ideal, since multiple people need to print these and are comfortable using Adobe software.

Can't print from Adobe Reader, "no pages selected to print"

I can't print PDFs from Adobe Reader. I can print from any other program, just not Adobe Reader. When I click "Print", I get an error that says, "The document could not be printed". I click "OK" and then it says, "There were no pages selected to print". Even if I try to print a page at a time, it still won't work. I have a Mac and my Adobe Reader is up to date. Any ideas?

You should really ask in the Reader forum. Be sure to indicate the OS and printer you are trying to use, particularly if it is a network printer. Provide information about having installed the most recent printer driver if appropriate. When you open the print menu in Reader, do you have any printers in the list?
