LiveCycle/JBoss just dies after several minutes.  Have to rerun Configuration Manager

I installed LiveCycle ES Turnkey with JBoss on a fresh install of WinXP Pro and it seemed to work flawlessly. I followed the turnkey install guide and it went without any problems. After the install I opened the LC Administrator Console and logged in with no problems. I changed the passwords and poked around a bit. It sat idle for a few moments and the next time I tried to do anything I get the standard Failed to Connect message as if I were trying to browse the web while not online.
I've tried several things to bring it back to life -- restarting the service (it's 'JBoss for Adobe LiveCycle ES' right? it always fails to stop this service when I try to restart it.), restarting the whole machine, starting the server from run.bat in jboss\bin... nothing works. I have to run the Adobe LiveCycle Configuration Manager again to be able to connect to http://localhost:8080/. I've done this three times now and every time it's the same thing. It works for several minutes and then dies for seemingly no reason.
I really appreciate any help I can get!

Hello brianus
If you have checked for Possible hardware or software conflicts, you may have a hardware problem.
You sound like an experienced user that has done considerable troubleshooting, but you can consider How to test your iSight to ensure it is functional in case something there might help you.
If none of those suggestions or Apple's How to Troubleshoot iSight helps you, your iSight will likely need repair by an Apple Service Technician. There are no user serviceable parts in iSight.
Even if the iSight you bought was advertised as an NOS (new, old-stock) iSight, it may not be covered by Apple Warranty. If the seller is not providing you service guarantees or warranty, you may be interested in Apple's iSight Service: Frequently Asked Questions.

  • Overrun error (-1073807252) occurs after several minutes

    Hello folks,
I have a LV 7.0 program that terminates after several minutes of running with some VISA serial port communication with an error -1073807252, overrun error. I only get this error on Win98 and the latest version of LV (7.0) and VISA (3.01). Does anyone know what exactly causes this error? The help on the error is not very detailed. I tried the same program on a Win2000 PC and it works without any problems. I also tried another VISA communication program on the Win98 PC and the same error occurs.
    Thanks in advance,
    Michael

    Dave,
not really a solution, but a suggestion.
Windows is by far not a real-time OS. And there are several buffers
involved when doing serial communication.. The first one when watching
from the serial cable side is the UART. This one is the one that is
affected by serial handshake. A system driver acts as the interrupt
service routine ISR whenever this buffer is nearly filled or emtied and
performs some coying to or from a system buffer. LabVIEW as user mode
program uses this buffer for ist serial reading and writing. This
system buffer is often not taken into account. Its default size is
often not as much as one would expect and some few kB of data may
easily overrun it. I have learned this when performing serial highspeed
transfer with up to 13 ports simultanously.
You can use 'VISA Set I/O Buffer Size' to set this buffer after you
have configured a serial port. AFAIK one can set the buffer size of
both directions to a value of up to 32765 bytes. Yes, not 2^15, but
2^15 - 3. But do not rely on the exact number, please.  Test it on
    your system.
    How can this buffer overrun?
Well, WinDoze can (occasionally) take some time where nothing happens
with end user code. This may happen when awakening the hd from power
save mode or when doing some network actions. And there are a lot of
other possibel reasons. This does not affect the system driver, which
fills up the system buffer when serial transfer is in progress.
Your code may as well operate in 'bubbles' that do not allow to empty
the buffer in-time. Think of DLL code or subroutine prioritized one.
All this may be eased if not solved by setting the system buffer size
to the limit, as it increases the delay your whole system can ignore.

  • Wifi connection very slow and interrupted after several minutes

My wifi connection is interrupted after several minutes. I can restart the connection with wifi assisted, diagnose tool. It indicates always ISP failure. When I go through the assistant, it sows that the network connection was changed, and the wifi connection is back. But only for some minutes, then I have to go the the assistant again, and again and again. Also the wifi protocoll tool did not help me.
Meantime I don't have any problems with my IPad or Iphone.
In the web I found plenty of other users with MacBook Pro (Retina) OS X Yosemite, Version 10.10.2 with similar problems. When will apple fix this bug?
Do somebody has in idea how to fix it?
    Thanks for your support!

You posted in the support forum for the Apple routers......AirPort Express, Airport Extreme and Time Capsule.....the products pictured below:
But, your post seems to describe a connection issue that you are experiencing with your MacBook Pro.  We are not sure how an Apple router might be involved here if your other devices are connecting well.
You will likely receive a much faster and more informed response if you post your question in the support area for the MacBook Pro linked just below:

  • Tecra 9100 freezes after several minutes

My Tecra9100 (P4, 1,8 Ghz) freezes after several minutes. It shows no reaction on keyboard or mouse input.
It doesn't matter whether I'm running WinXP, Linux or just enter the BIOS.
Rebooting the system leads to a shorter period until freezing (several seconds).
First I thought of overheating of the cpu but a small hardware tool shows me that the temperature is normal and the cooling fan works.
Any idea? Perhaps a problem with the VGA?

    Hi
Yes, its perhaps something wrong with VGA but I think it could be a memory fault.
Try to replace the modules and check if there are some performance improvements.
If not, the technician should check the notebooks motherboard
You know; Its always not easy to say what could be wrong without any diagnostic procedures

    Hi!
Check that all enviroment variables are complete and still in place?
JAVA_HOME and DBMS_TYPE and so on
Also check that all exe files are of the same version, if not, make sure they are.
You could also try to update disp+work

  • Hi. After the latest update, most websites will not completely download at all, or after several minutes.

The latest update to Firefox 6 is causing most websites to not download completely, or take several minutes to do so. Definitely did not have this problem before update, witch was only several days ago, I think. Problem does not occur with IE.

Thanks for the response.  The 30-40 minutes is a maximum; in other words, it usually drops out much sooner (sometimes after 2 or 3 songs), but has gone that long before.
My main HDD (where my music is) is solid state, and a lot of times I've even been using the computer when it happens, so good thought, but it shouldn't be that.
It did give me a thought though.  Sometimes on this computer I experience pauses because I have a constantly active backup drive, and it waits for the drive to catchup.  I can try turning that off and seeing if it makes any difference.  Definitely something I hadn't thought of yet.  Probably be a bit before I try it, but I'll let ya know.
Any other suggestions in the meantime most appreciated!

Im trying to set up PXE and Imaging and have get PXE to work.
I wanted to test with one computer and used C1 to assign policy to this
computer to take image with next boot.
The PC boots up from network and received IP-adress. It shows up with
somekind of SUSE boot-picture and comes up with a menu. Now the computer
seems to hung up and it doesnt respont to keyboard. I can only switch
    screen like in Linux ALT-Fx
After many minutes an error-msg shows up and says it can't connect/find
    the image-server and then reboot.
The image-server is running on the same server it boots from (PXE-server
    and pdhcp).
On console the Image Server screen says now "Update Request = 4", so some
kind of connection must have been doen.
Im using ZfD7, but i guess there is no different from ZfD6.5
    Server is NW6.5 SP5
    What can be the problem?

  • Try to open up a website for work and after several minutes of "loading" the page is blank and says done. Have tried with IE, Oprah, and Chrome and all have the same problem

The website is a login for work so I can print off the sheets I need for my job. I can get the site to work during the day but in the evening, it doesn't matter what I do, what browser I use, it always loads a blank page. I have scanned for Trojans, disabled java, turned off the security settings, and nothing works. I have even tried accessing the page through the home page only to have the same problem.

I would recommend you contact the web administrator for the site. He/she would likely be of far better assistance; this is clearly a problem specific to the website, not Firefox.

  • Network crashes after several minutes

    Hi folks,
I was using LFS for some time and now switched back to arch because of the anoying updates.
I was using the exact same hardware about one to two years before with Arch and there wasn't any problem, so I guess the bug is in the software (or the end user ).
I'm using the ndiswrapper + dhcpcd / dhclient (problem is the same on both), all from the arch repo.
After a few minutes being online (this problem occurs more quick if I do several online tasks at once, like torrent + jabber + surfing, or even loading several webpages at once) my network crashes completely.
With crashing I mean: I can't even kill dhcpd nor unload the ndiswrapper module, if I try the process is loading about a few minutes and then completely freezes (I can't kill the kill proccess, funny somehow). I also checked every log but I just can't find anything in them (nor can I find a special dhcpd / dhclient / ndiswrapper / networks in general log).
I hope one of you guys can help me because I don't want to switch back to LFS.

I tried different solutions till compiling both: an older kernel and an older ndiswrapper version, but none of them made any difference.
I guess I'll have to switch back to LFS for now which isn't a huge problem.
I just hate to remember and update all packages myself .
But thanks anyway, I'll switch back to arch in a few month and try it again.

  • Apple TV stops playing iMatch music after several minutes

    Model: MD199NF/A
    Software: 5.1 (5201)
After updating to software version 5.1, I'm experiencing trouble with my Apple TV and my iMatch music.
After starting the music using iMatch it starts normal and nothing is wrong, but sometimes it stops after a few minutes (5-30 min).
The only thing to get it started again is to restart my Apple TV or else it wil keep trying to load my (iMatch) music and nothing happens at all.
Are there more users having this problem? What is the possible solution to this problem?
    Thanks in advance

I have the same problem and haven't found an answer or seen one. I don't have any problems downloading/streaming off the net but the iTunes timeout is driving me crazy. Did you ever find the problem?
