LiveCycle won't load... need assistance ASAP please

I'm working on a form for a staffing company's tiem sheet. I've used LiveCycle in the past atr otehr jobs, but never launched my own copy through my Acrobat Professional until recently, and it doesn't work. I've tried repairing the install and even did a fresh install/re-registering the product, and it still won't launch.
I get the following error messages:
"Acrobat cannot start Adobe LiveCycle Designer. You may need to repair or reinstall the application using the original installation program."
or when launching LiveCycle directly from my programs:
"The application or DLL C:\\WINDOWS\\WinSxS\x86_MicrosoftVC80.IvFC_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.4053_x-ww_b77cec8e\ MFC80U.DLL is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."
Like I said, I've repaired and reinstalled the program a number of times already with no luck. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

I got this error also, and found out that this props up when
You have SQLServer or SqlServer Express intalled on your local machine. Uninstall Sqlserver and Livecycle will load. At our company we use, SQLserver off the Server anyway, so my desktop only has SQLServer management Studio and thats fine for me

    Ok, so I have been working with the FlipBook dreamweaver extension and once I upload to my server
    the .swf file won't load. However, everything works like a charm when tested locally. All corresponding
    xml and js files are in place and the code looks fine. I've had this issue once before, and after much time spent on Google it
    seemed there could be a problem with how the swf is being uploaded. I finally got it to work via uploading
    through the web based control panel. Unfortunately, we switched hosts and can only upload via FTP now.
    So I'm stuck again..any ideas how to remedy this situation? Thanks. -Bryan

    MAke sure you have all the supporting files loaded to the srver.  Also, the flashvars line(s) in your embedding code that appear to have some stray "&"s in them that probably needs to be a real "&"s

    Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
    If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
    And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

    have a customer with hundreds of laptop users who very seldom connect to their corporate network. Need ideas ASAP around how to inventory standalone laptops.

    This scenario is best handled by an agent based/Internet based system like Microsoft Intune. An agentless system like MAP is not a good fit for this environment. Your choices when using MAP are to schedule a time when those machines must be connected to
    the network and then run the scan at that time. Alternatively, you can keep rerunning the scan, hoping to catch some of them when they periodically connect.

  • Lightroom won't export..need help asap please

    I was
    in the process of exporting some edited photos. After I opened the Export menu I decided to rename the file I had originally downloaded
    the files from into Lightroom and that I was going to download the edited photos into as a subfile.
    Well when I did that I think I broke the link and now they will not export. When I choose a photo in Lightroom in this batch and I click on the export button it will not even open the export menu.
    The export menu works fine will all my other files. 
    How do I reestablish the link or get Lightroom to recognize the files so I can export them....I am in a bind I need to get this wedding finished today.
    Appreciate any help.

    If you rename an image or move it to a different location, you can re=link it via the ? on the image thumbnail or by right-clicking on the thumbnail and choosing the Locate option.
    If you rename the container the images are in (a "file" in your terminology, or a "folder" in normal terminology) or move the container that the images are in to somewhere else then you can re-link the container by right-clicking on the folder-name in the folder list at the lefthand side and choosing the Locate option.
    It seems like you're referring to "folders" as "files" so it is confusing when LR asks you to find the folder. 
    Perhaps if you tell us the names of an example image and the name of its container before and the names of things after the rename or move, more explicit instructions can be given.
    Or maybe it's been 4 hours and you've given up and re-imported and re-edited all your images.

    Hey thanks solved it! It was the loading picture file
    extensions as .JPG onto the server instead of .jpg with was
    changing file path.

  • IPod won't load new software. PLEASE HELP

    I have a 2G iPod touch and I've recently downloaded the new software (3.1.2) for it.
    iTunes seems to think there is nothing wrong with my iPod but it won't seem to load the new software. It's been stuck in the power-on screen for the past day and the loading bar for has made any progress since the first half hour of the download.
    I've restored, restarted my iPod as well as restarted my computer. I'm really lost as to what to do next. Please help my before I bash this thing into a million pieces.

  • Customer Service Complaint - Need Assistance ASAP and not getting it!

    I sent in my Yoga Laptop for repairs two weeks ago. When I spoke with technical support, I was told that my laptop would be fixed within 7 business days, and returned to me. These 7 business days have since passed and I have yet to receive an update on my laptop, let alone my actual laptop. When I called to complain about this to 1-877-453-6686, I was told I would be getting a call back from customer service within 48 hours. These 48 hours have also passed and have not yet received a call. I called again today to find out what was happening and was told nothing more than "you will be contacted by them within 48 hours". 
    I was supposed to leave for Europe this past Sunday, and was told by the person I originally spoke to that I would have my laptop by then. Nope. Nothing. I am now leaving next Sunday and am very worried I will have to go purchase a new laptop, at my own cost, because Lenovo is unable to uphold to their customer service standards and provide me with any feedback. I am at the point of filing a complaint about the company to the Better Business Bureau here in Canada, but I feel the problem would best be resolved if Lenovo actually contacted me back. I have been without a laptop for 2 weeks now, and as a student, this is too long!! 
    Lenovo Customer Service, please contact me ASAP! I am not a happy customer right now and you guys have caused me way more stress than I need.

  • Movies won't load onto iTunes! Please help me, desperately seeking advice

    Hey all.
    I just bought a new macbook and new 60g iPod and can't watch movies on my pod.
    I try to move them into iTunes and nothing happens, won't drag and drop, won't work if I try import or try to crtl click open with. Just zero happens. I have also tried converting them with iSquint into ipod compatible movies and still nothing. They just won't go anywhere near iTunes. It simply acts as though nothing has happened.
    However, my friend was able to put videos onto my ipod from his old iBook.
    So frustrating, i bought this new computer so things would work properly and so far not so good.
    I have iTunes 7.0.1 and current ipod updater installed on iTunes
    Could someone please help me before I tear my hair out!!

    What you need to do is download a movie file converter to convert your movies to mp4 which is the ipod format. I use one called "ipodvideoconverter" just google it and you'll find one that works. Just a heads up though... it usually takes 3-5 hours to convert a 2 hour movie.

    However, I was messing around with the photos, and I deleted neccessary items for iPhoto unknowingly, now my iPhoto doesn't loat at all.
    It shows loading logo spinning but never load and screen is blank.

    Do you have any idea what you deleted? 
    Try this:  launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and try to create a new, test library.  If you can then the problem lies with the current library.
    If that's the case make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
    Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
    Select the options identified in the screenshot. 
    Fix #2
    Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
    Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
    Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
    Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
    In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
    Click on the Create button.
    Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

    Hello a I am writint this because I need help!! I keep getting a message in error on my Macbook Pro about my Photsmart 6520 is jammed and it says to check to see if any obstructions are bloacking it. Hoever this is like the 20th time that I check inside the printer over and over again. I make sure everything is in order, however when I turn the printer back on it will say the same thing and I keep trying to get it to work, but it won't!!! I just got the printer the day before yesterday and I caanot fix it, please help it is urgent.

    OK So i have a HP Deskjet F2180
    I just recently bought new cartridges for it, and the refuse point blank to work!!
    ive taken every measure to fix the problem through HPs help sites but NOTHING is working. I think theirs a problem with both cartridges

    Hi - Try the steps in this document.  Specifically, go to the "Check Cartridge Light is Blinking", click on "Solutions".  The doc will walk you through cleaning the contacts on both the cartridges and the carriage.

    When you get a chance, do a battery pull.  When the red light goes away on the front of the phone, hold down the back button the entire time while the phone is booting up.  When the boot is complete, the phone will enter safe mode.

    Try to delete it from there and do another battery pull / reinstall.
