Livetype media 2 -how to start application

Just purchased Final Cut Express which included Livetype media 2. Started to learn with the tutorial disc and could see how Livetype works, but does not show how to start the program. FC works fine.
I assumed LiveType should have its own startup application and be straight forward but no!! Have looked allover my hard drive where to find the application but do not find it. (I am comming from a PC so also learning the new way in Mac).
Installed the software twice to make shure it was properly installed. I can see the folder with all the data but (templates etc) not the application.
Could anyone help?

I do no t know the installation procedure for FCE but Livetype Media 2 is only one of the disks containing LT's pieces. sound like you may not have actually installed the application. Try running the installer again after you have carefully re-read the installation procedures.

Currently, regardless of whether I've closed them when in Full Screen, they always reopen in their 'windowed' state. Uncheck the box indicated in the screenshot below and the app should start in the same mode as you quit it in (i.e., if it was in FS mode when you quit, it'll open in FS mode).

I'm developing the application to stream High Quality video.While streming by default camera/microphone settings the qulaity of streaming is not upto my expected level.I want to stream through Flash Media Encoder.My aim is the user login to the application.Video/audio qulaity details are retrived from shared object stored in the client machine.The login user name only gathered at run time & it will be the streaming profile name to Encoder.Once the the Encoder started the outgoing video will be come into screen to client.Please guide me How to start Flash Media Encoder 3.2 from Flex application with run time parameters(User name as streaming name) without manually start the FME?

How to start a application with a login window?

does anyone have any idea on how to start an application with a login window? a login window is the first frame or window to be displayed when an application starts running. and only correct login id and password have been entered the real application will start. any sample out there? thank you.

You can start a new thread by making a thread object and passing it an implementation of a runnable object. Runnable has just one method, public void run(), this is was gets executed in a second thread. perhaps the code you would use would look something like this.

I have installed the Oracle Appliacion server and Infrastructure server on Linux. Both I have installed under with Diff. folder
Can some one please tell me how to start / stop Appliacion server and Infrastructure server on Linux
We are going to use the these with Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2 .
Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2 installed in the same Linux server under diff. folder

You can do as rizla said or go another route.
We setup profiles to use for all of the oracle homes. Then in the scripts we call the profiles. Easier to migrate and manage in my opinion if you have multiple oracle homes. You can then use profiles when ssh'd into the boxes, too. Both ways will work.

there is no hard coded rule on which service should be started first.
the basic thing is concurrent manager uses database for starting, so i advice you the following sequence:
1. start the database
2. start the database listener
3. Apache server
4. forms server
5. report server
6. concurrent manager
and shutdown in the reverse order

How to Remove Web Dynpro ABAP - Starting Application white banner

Hi everyone,
When I call the Web Dynpro ABAP applicaion, it shows the Login screen, after proper authentication, it shows a SAP NetWeaver Web Dynpro ABAP white screen/banner stating "Starting Application... ", and after sometime it launches the Web Dynpro application. I want to remove the white screen. How can we do that?

Hi Amber,
Just as a quick note: There is no artificial delay when displaying the splash screen. During that time the application loads itself. The screen is removed as soon as everything will have been initialized including calling all application hooks such as wdDoInit on all the different controllers. This means, that by removing the splash screen you will only get a blank white screen with a "Application is being loaded.." message that will stay as long as the splash screen would have done. Hence, disabling or enabling it is more a matter of taste, not of performance.

How can I enable java applet plug-in and Web Start applications via terminal?

Since the last Java update to Snow Leopard, I have found that the system periodically disables the Java applet plug-in after a period of disuse. I know I can go to /Applications/Utilities/Java Preferences and just click to re-enable Java. But I want to write a script which will do this periodically for a couple hundred Mac users where I work.
My question is - how can I reenable the Java applet plug-in and web start applications via Terminal command? Is this possible? Is there a plist file that can be modified, etc.?

It is my understanding that Apple's most recent Java update automatically disables Java after a certain period of time that it hasn't been used. We don't want users to have to keep re-enabling it. So we wanted to find a way to do this via script either run by a Casper JSS server or stored locally on each workstation.   With the guidance provided by Mark Jalbert above and some text from a script written by Rich Trouton, I was able to make a script (with some minor changes) and a launch agent to re-run the script upon login. So the preference is always enabled.
For your reference, the script content is:

Hi,
You can use: startManagedWebLogic.sh, it is in your domain directory and you have to execute it in this way
./startManagedWebLogic.sh managedServerName http://adminServerHost:adminServerPort
For instance, in my case I use:
unixserv01:/webportal/domains/appServerWeb/bin>startManagedWebLogic.sh managedServ01 http://pelma3w3per01.mesaperu.next:7001
You have to run it on the machine where the managed server was installed.

Premiere Pro won't start, application error

The last time I used Premiere Pro it worked flawlessly. But all of a sudden when I launch either Premiere Pro or Media Encoder I get an Application failed to start error.
I reverted my machine to what it was the last time I used Premiere but still it crashes.
If I should reinstall Premiere, how do I proceed? It's not like I can do it through the Application Manager. A
ll I get there is "up to date", I don't get the install link anymore.
Any Ideas?

Not wanting to wait I found out how to uninstal cloud apps. So I uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere Pro family. but still it will not launch.
Application failed to start correctly (0xc000007b)

Well, I seem to be the only one to have this problem so far.
Like I said earlier, I tried to reinstal Premiere by first not forgetting to deactivate any application to reinitialize the adobe key, just in case. Then I uninstalled the Premiere Pro Family through the Windows control panel. Rebooted and reinstalled it through the Adobe Application Manager. But still, it didn't work. So I had to resort to a complete system restore. Luckily I had a recent backup.
I have Premiere working now! I guess we'll wait till it happens again to figure this one out.
The only thing I can see that caused the problem in the first place is that a file must have gotten corrupted at some point.
But why only Premiere?
