Living in Brazil but with a Swiss account

I am currently in Brazil for 3 months and would like to download local apps.
However my app store account continues registered in Switzerland (swiss cc).
How do I get access to local apps (i.e. taxi, restaurants)?

The only way to get apps from the Brazilian Store is to change the country for which your account is registered, To do so requires that you qualify by having a bank card issued by a bank in that country with a verifiable billing address from that country.
If all that you wish are a few free local apps that you will discard when you return home, then you should create a temporary email account for Brazil and then follow these instructions to create a temporary Apple ID and open an account in the iTunes Store for Brazil that does not require a bank card.

I just purchased an iPad 3 and it works great with most of my email accounts, but with an imap account from school it will download the content of the folders in the account, but doesn't download the messages in the inbox. I have deleted and created the account several times. I have checked the status of the account and it's active and works either from safari or from my Mac or iPhone. I have turned off both my Mac and my iPhone as not to have competing devices, I can even send emails from the account successfully. It simply won't download the content of the inbox. Help!

Hi Csound1, thanks. The email host is 1and1.co.uk, however, i am going to fess up and make myself look like a plonker now -
the email account in question was set up in Outlook as POP - stupid, stupid, stupid me, wasted an afternoon on this! I have now changed the Outlook account to IMAP and Mail.app works perfectly - and looks much nicer than Outlook did. Im in the middle of converting from Windows to a Mac, and still finding my way around the Mac
The lesson learned, never assume - always double check! All my other email addresses with 1and1 are all imap, except this one, and it happened to be the first one I set up in the Mail.app. (bows head in disgrace!)

L use lion OS and still the appstore want to upgrade iPhoto 9.2 but with (unknown) other account name. So in the dock is 1 upgrade mensionned but l can't upgrade ! What can l do ?

When l want to upgrade in Appstore a message tells me that this update is available for another account...but not for mine !
l think that this upgrade is part of a upgrade for OS Lion because l did not bought iPhoto in the appstore.

You must get help from App Store support. They are the only people who can help with this.

I also have a X OS Server with network account.
I joined my iMac on that server and when I log with a network account, all of my a
Adobe application are not responding (Illustartor, Photoshop, Adobe Pro and Adobe)
I red That I should copy /users/Library/Preferences/Adobe Illusratot CS4 Setting/ folder to the user home folder within the same path.
This is work.
But how can I make sure that all of ALL my Adobe application will work for all Users??

The problem is for illustrator, adobe reader and adobe pro. For all of them, when I run it with a locl account, it works, but when I run its from the same workstation but with a network account:
- illustartor freez
- adobe reader craches and retsat and craches...
- Adobe Acrobat pro freez.
Only photoshop works.
Do you have an idea how can I make it working with a network account but only from the same workstation?

You can log out of the currently logged in account on your iPhone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and logging out, and you then log in with a different account. I recommend trying to sync your music again using iTunes. When you have your iPhone connected to iTunes, I recommend checking the Music tab to verify that Sync Music is checked. In order to use the Australian Store you will need either a bank card from an Aussie bank with a verifiable Aussie billing address or you will need to redeem an Aussie iTunes Gift card.
Launch iTunes and go to the iTunes Store
Click on “Account” and log in, under “Apple ID Summary” choose “Change Country or Region”
Select the new country as desired

I would like to back up 3 idevices each with different icloud accounts to itunes. But they use the same apple id so that itune purchases can be installed on each device (2 iphones and 1 ipad).
All I want to do is create a backup in case the phones need to be restored. I also want to back up before downloading iOS 8.
The Macbook Pro that I will back up to has one user and one itunes library.
Is this possible without mixing up address books and contacts etc? Appreciate if some one could direct me to detail step-by-step instructions if they exist or please tell me how I can do this.

TS3899 I cannot send email from my ipad the message keeps saying rejected by the server but there is nothing wrong with my email account with talk talk as I am able to send email from my iPhone and laptop any ideas?

My email won't send from my iPad. It says the server rejects it almost immediately I press the send email button, although there is nothing wrong with my email account when sending from my laptop or iphone. I have cancelled the account and re-entered it but it hasn't made a difference? Anybody help?

Thank you for your help . The account used to work perfectly until recently, after receiving support from the provider, I deleted the account now I am trying to set the account again.
After putting in the first details (name, email, description) Cannot send mail the password or username for "mail.bigpond.com" is incorrect. I would expect this because the information I put in is not for Bigpond. So I press ok & I change the outgoing server (this is the one that is incorrectly labelled bigpond) to aapt, then I press save.
Then it says "verifying" but comes up with Cannot connect using SSL do you want to try setting up the account without SSL. I press yes.
Then I get the message "the POP server "mail.aapt.net.au" is not responding. Check your network connection & that you entered the correct information in the incoming mail server. (I ahve already checked this with aapt & it is correct.
