LL01 Warehouse Monitor

Hi,
When Executing LL01 T.Code for Warehouse monitor, I get qty Zero for all the parameters date & time  as two years date.(Say If I execute on 27th Jan 2009, the report gives to 12.03.2007 14:18:41)
How to make this to current date?
For another WH Number, if I execute I get the date & time as 00.00.0000 & time as 00:00:00
How to correct the above date to current date?
Please note folllowing parameters are already maintained in SPRO
Standard Variant has been maintained in SPRO-Logistics Execution-Warehouse Management-Warehouse Activity Monitor-Activate Warehouse Activity Monitor Objects
Also Define Critical Parameters were also maintained.
Any thoughts on this?
Regards,
Vengat

It is for performance reasons. In big warehouses it would have a huge performance impact if SAP would have to read and analyze the database with each call of LL01.
So a batch job analyzes the database from time to time and LL01 just looks into a table that is created by the jobs.
You can execute the analysis manually via the menu from within LL01 for each category seperatly.
Execute LL01 until you see your critical process, put cursor onto one process, then choose from menu EDIt > create data..

    Hi,
It seems like that you are encountering event 31552, you may check operation manager event logs for more information regarding to this issue.
There can be many causes of getting this 31552 event, such as:
A sudden flood (or excessive sustained amounts) of data to the warehouse that is causing aggregations to fail moving forward.
The Exchange 2010 MP is imported into an environment with lots of statechanges happening.
Excessively large ManagedEntityProperty tables causing maintenance to fail because it cannot be parsed quickly enough in the time allotted.
Too much data in the warehouse staging tables which was not processed due to an issue and is now too much to be processed at one time.
Please go through the links below to get more information about troubleshooting this issue:

    Hi,
The sap help portal explaination on the traffic light meaning in LRF1 (Warehouse Monitoring) is quite confusing.

    3.     Red (critical) u2013 the proportion is greater than the upper threshold

  • Warehouse Monitor Critical Parameters

    Hi,
I am setting critical parameters of WH Monitor
    Unconfirmed TO/TR
While entering the movement types 322,349,411,412,541,542,553,555,631,641got the following error.
Entry 050 631  does not exist in T333 (check entry)
Any idea why the above movement types are not allowed for critical parameters setting & how to allow?
    Regards,
    Vengat

Well if you are configuring the activity monitor then I assume your movement type configurations are already done. Make sure you include only those movement types in the activity monitor that are defined for your warehouse.
Movements types are defined under IMG - LE- WM - Activities - Transfers - Define Movement Types.
Activity monitor is defined IMG - LE- WM - Planning and Monitoring - Define Critical Parameters. here, make sure you include only those mvnt types which are defined for your WHS,
    Hope this helps.

  • Warehouse Activity Monitor - Pros & Cons, Configuration

    Hi,
I would like to know pros & cons of 'Warehouse Activity Monitor'. Want to understand whether it will help business by activating it. If Yes, then what are the configurations required to activate the same.
    thanks,

    dear friend,
    as far as i know:
the warehouse monitor is useful for several reasons:
-Not all warehousing processes are carried out in the system without errors.
-Errors are often not recognized until sometime after they have occurred.
-The search for the cause of an error and correcting it can be time consuming.
orders to move stock in the warehouse should always be processed within a reasonable time period. one of the key features of the warehouse monitoring task is the checking of timely processing of transfer orders in WM.
    good luck!

  • Open TRs show in LL01 for Mvmt type 261, wrong SL on production order

    Hi all,
    I have the following issue
We have roughly 2000 open transfer requirements related to movement type 261 GI to order. They all show up as critical processes in LL01 (Warehouse Activity Monitor)
I have looked at the production orders being created and some of the components in those production orders show the wrong storage locations, which I am almost sure is the reason for the stranded TRs
But I cannot seem to find out where that list of wrong storage locations is getting populated from!! I have checked the material master and the storage types where these materials are stored in WM. In all these places the storage location is correct. Yet in the production orders some components show the right SL and some don't..
Does anyone know what could be the reason?

    Hi,
What i have understood is Open requirement has created for wrong storage location which u donot trace.
U can see the that incorrect storage location at Component Overview of Production order.
The possible area from which the issue storage location can flow.
1.Issue storage location defined for Bom components at Header Material Bom.
    2. if header material has production version , check wirh issue storage location at Pv.
    3. Default supply area defined at workcenter related that component.
4.stock determination Group  at MRP view.
i hope this will help u to fix your problem

In our warhouse when we open "Ware House Activity Monitor " using LL01 transaction, system show some TRs which were processed before few years. I mean for them TOs were created and movement was completed.
E.g We did scrapping before few years and system performed all required steps but still we can see those TR in Warehouse Monitor.
Can you please advise on this?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Open Transfer Requirements for Mvmt 261 in LL01

    Hi all
We recently made a change to our warehouse structure by reassigning storage types from an earlier storage location A to a storage location B. These storage types involve Production Supply areas (PSAs) and also storage areas for raw materials.
After the change we have ended up with roughly 2000 open transfer requirements related to movement type 261 GI to order. They all show up as critical processes in LL01 (Warehouse Activity Monitor)
Does anyone know what could be the reason
    Thanks a lot

Before you change your structure of wharehouse you need to clean up all the pending document otherwise you will be in trouble like you have now.
so please clear all the document first.

  • Display Warehouse Stock in SAP EWM

    Dear Experts,
Kindly let me know what is the transaction code to display Warehouse Stock in SAP EWM.
    Thanks,
    Shetty

    Hi,
Indeed, the Warehouse monitor pretty much gives you all the information that you need. Do not forget that from time to time you need to update the stock data from the EWM to the ERP using the transaction /n/SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK - Stock Comparison ERP in order for the monitor from the EWM to be conclusive with the valuated data form ERP.
    All the best,

  • Two warehouse numbers in one plant

Is it possible to have two warehouse numbers in one plant and how do i get this to work? Can the same users work in first and second warehouse? What are the things that i need to define searately in second warehouse number? What is the difference if i still have one warehouse number and split two warehouses in 2 different warehouse numbers?

Is it possible to have two warehouse numbers in one plant and how do i get this to work?
Sure, you just need to create another WhNum and assign it to the SLoc(s).
Can the same users work in first and second warehouse?
Yes, but you will be required to change their WM profile in LRFMD to make it work.
What are the things that i need to define searately in second warehouse number?
Not sure I understand the question correctly. You need to have all the WM settings for this warehouse number separate, although some values might be the same (print program, storage types, movement type config, etc.) but they need to be specified for the key of your new WhNum.
What is the difference if i still have one warehouse number and split two warehouses in 2 different warehouse numbers?
There are many differences... You will be able to make the movement types config different which is important if your process requirements are different.
You will have two warehouse monitors RF monitors (LRF1/LRF2 t-code).
You will be able to specify different internal SU number if you are using storage units.
You will be able to have the same storage types in different WhNUms, e.g. you can have 001 in WH1 and 001 in WH2 too without conflict.
Have different print programs, settings in mobile data entry etc.
Well, there are many other differences. It would be good if you could specify which operations / processes are of interest so we could elaborate about the specific differences you are interested in.

  • Use of different material types

    Hi Experts ,
My client is thinking of expansion of its plant . This new plant would be copy of their already existing plant at another location . Now some of materials for manufacturing finish materials are same in both plants but they both use different material types . That is here there is only one mat type where there they use 4 mat types .
Now do I need to create new plant here or I can use the same existing plant for creation of new materials ? If I want to use the same plant then would be the effect on valuation of mat. Can these mat with different mat types be transported successfully ?

    Hi Neal,
So you did enjoy your weekend!!! Good good; well you go to IMG ( SPRO ) and on to ENTERPRISE STRUCTURE >> ASSIGNMENT >> LOGISTICS EXECUTION; and just in case you miss out the warehouse number, ENTERPRISE STRUCTURE >> DEFINITION >> LOGISTICS EXECUTION . You will find the links there. Unfortunately I created a screenshot for you but I just do not know how to attach it.
The list I was talking about was MRP List or Stock overview list ( MD05 / MD04 ). There are two more transactions that I think might come in handy. Check them out:
LS26 - stock overview of warehouse.
    LL01 - warehouse activity monitor.
Since the plant and warehouse will be linked, I guess there would be no discrimination on checking stock but I am pretty sure system checks warehouse stock first. That is the entire procedure. I hope it helps. Do reward points if I was able to answer your query.
    Regards,
    Sreekant.

  • RE: Auto-closed all open Transfer requirements

User sometimes uses LT10 to move stock from Receiving area to bin.
Because of this, there are many open Transfer requirement.
Is there a way the system will closed off the transfer requirement?
In which User exit can this routine be setup?
    Thanks
    bye

One way of doing this is by marking open transfer requirements as completed in transaction LL01 (warehouse activity monitor).
To run the warehouse activity monitor, you will have to define the variants in customizing.
When you get this report running, double click on the line for 'Open Transfer Requirements'. In the next screen, click on the button 'TR status deliv. completed.'
Another was is to do this individually in transaction LB02.
To my knowledge, there is no user exit to automate this. Perhaps you can write a custom BDC on LL01 transaction and run the program on regular intervals (PS this way you may end up closing genuine or un-processed Transfer Requirements as well!)
