LMS 3.2 : Can't collect inventory from Nexus 5010

Hello,
I've added a Nexus 5010 to LMS, and it recognized it as such, and it was also able to archive its configuration.
But LMS is unable to collect inventory from it : the error message is "Device Sensed, but collection failed".
I am able to do an snmp walk of the device and I do see the ENTITY mib.
I am running LMS 3.2 with no RME patches or device package updates.
I've attached the relevant portion of IC_Server.log.
The Nexus 5010 is running NX-OS 4.1(3)N2(1a).
Thanks for the help,
Alex.

>> I am running LMS 3.2 with no RME patches or device package updates.
So why not update the dev pkgs, then try again?
The latest RME pkg for Nexus is apparently v2.4, whereas I'm collecting the 5010s fine with v2.3.

    Any kind soul out there can provide advice how can I collect data from SE6920 using the explorer command ?
    The man page of explorer says that to collect data from SE6920 aray, an input file "se6920inout.txt" with login info
    must be exist under the /etc/opt/SUNWexplo directory of the server connected to th array.
    However, the data collection failed while trying to retrieved from the array. The error as follow :

    Thanks very much reading this message.

    If all of the files are in the same folder you can use List Folder to list all of the files based on a pattern. You can then use this to auto-index a for loop.

  • Collect cdr from cisco gateway AS5300 into a database in realtime

    Hello !!
    somebody knows how can i collect cdr from cisco gateway AS5300 into a database in realtime?
    Regards

    You can use gw-accounting as explained below:
    gw-accounting
    To enable an accounting method for collecting call detail  records (CDRs), use the gw-accounting command in global  configuration mode. To disable an accounting method, use the no form of this command.
    gw-accounting {aaa | file | syslog [stats] }
    no gw-accounting {aaa | file | syslog [stats] }
    gw-accounting {h323 [vsa] | syslog | voip}
    no gw-accounting {h323 [vsa] | syslog | voip}
    Syntax Description
    aaa
    Enables accounting through the AAA system and sends call  detail records to the RADIUS server in the form of vendor-specific attributes  (VSAs).
    file
    Enables the file accounting method to store call detail  records in .csv format.
    syslog
    Enables the system logging facility to output accounting  information in the form of a system log message.
    stats
    (Optional) Enables voice quality statistics to be sent to the  system log.
    h323
    Enables standard H.323 accounting using Internet Engineering  Task Force (IETF) RADIUS attributes.
    vsa
    (Optional) Enables H.323 accounting using RADIUS VSAs.
    voip
    Enables generic gateway-specific accounting.
    You can find more info in cisco IOS voice command reference guide.
    This is an example to collect CDR of H.323 calls via RADIUS:
    gw-accounting syslog
    gw-accounting aaa
    attribute acct-session-id overloaded
    attribute h323-remote-id resolved
    acct-template callhistory-detail

  • LMS 4.2.4 Error RICS0001:Internal Error,unable to process the collected data from the device.

    Hi
    LMS 4.2.4 inventory collection fails with Error RICS0001:Internal Error,unable to process the collected data from the device for few devices.
    Can anyone help me out.
    Regards

    They are definately supported. However such issues are usually due to device packages, if unavailable or not installed.
    Please do following :
    1. Check Admin > software centre > device updates and check any devices packages available in Cisco.com and install it and recheck.
    2. Please do a snmpwalk on problematic device on sysObjectID and share result. Following is the way to do snmpwalk :
    GUI - Open the device in Device Centre (Inventory > Tools > Device Center) and open the device with IP and from tools select snmpwalk and do it for sysObjectID (1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2)
    CLI : CD to NMSROOT/objects/jt/bin from command prompt. run command as per following syntax:
    snmpwalk -v2c -c <snmp_community_string> 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2
    Example :
    community string = test123
    IP = 10.1.1.1
    snmpwalk -v2c -c test123 10.1.1.1 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2
    3. Please check your device package, by clicking on the number of packages in front of Inventory, conifg and image management from :
    Admin > System > Software Center > Device Update
    Also, check device identity under edit identity option from :
    Inventory > Device Administration > Add / Import / Manage Devices
    Check my screenshots for details :
    Please check and share results.
    -Thanks

    Hi mshields1162,
    Great question, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
    First, you may want to choose to have the sidebar displayed for familiarity:
    iTunes 11: Frequently used features
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5649
    Afterwards, your device should be displayed if connected:
    We'll want to click on it, and choose the Music tab at the top. Let's make sure "Sync Music" is checked:
    Afterwards, you'll have the option to sync either the entire music library (for your first iPod), or "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres" (for the secondary device). Upon selecting this option, four larger option boxes will appear allowing you to pick and choose what content will be synced. For audiobooks, you may need to do the above in the "Books" section. For a visual instruction on how to do this, see the following:
    iTunes 10: Sync to your iPod
    http://support.apple.com/kb/VI72
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • How can I extract data from embedded collection??????

    I have 4 classes (class1, class2, class3, class4). Each of them contains properties, methods and a set (HashSet). The set declaration code is: private Set set1;
    The initialization occurs in the appropriate method (however I did declare and initialize as private Set set1= new HashSet(); without success). Each Set is declared and initialize in their own class. The insert and update method works perfectly well.
    When I load class1 object, I can see at runtime in the debug feature all properties data as well as all set elements (set1, set2, set3, and set4). I can extract the data from all properties belongs to the class1 as well as the set1 element. However I cannot extract the data from the set2, set 3 and set4. By writing the following String s = class1.set1(). Property name; and I will get the information. The problem that I have is that I cannot write the following String s= class1.set1().set2().property name; since set2 cannot be seen. What should I do to get the info from the other set collection???? The loading method provide an object that contains everything. This object is equal as class1 and the set are embedded one inside the other.
    Used hibernate and Struts.
    Could someone help???? Many thanks

    Are we talking about Java source code here or some weird expression language?
    Can you post a minimal, example Java program that demonstrates your problem?

  • How can i control NI-6115 to collect data from 2 channels and save as 2 files?

    I want to program NI-6115 card to collect data from 2 channels and save the two data into two different filenames that i specified?
    How do i write in labview codes?

    Calibur,
    LabVIEW includes a number of examples that demonstrate how to acquire analog input data and write it to disk. Dependent upon the type of file you would like to use, I would suggest that you examine one of the following examples:
    Cont Acq to File (binary).vi
    Cont Acq to File (scaled).vi
    Cont Acq to Spreadsheet File.vi
    With regards to writing each channel's data to a separate file, you will need to use the Index Array function to generate two 1-D arrays, each containing data for one channel. These arrays can then be written to separate files using two Write File functions.
    Good luck with your application.

    i connect my externalpendrive to macbook pro but it cannot detect and my important data is there in my pen drive so how can i collect this data from my pendrive?

    make sure that in your finder preferences you have it checked to show external drives on the desktop and in the sidebar of finder
    you find these preferences by selecting the finder icon (blue square on the dock w/ smiley face on it) then click on the work "finder" at top left corner of computer screen then click on preferences then general and put check next to show these items on the desktop and put check next to external drives
    now you should see it on the desktop if you still can't open the drive or access it, it may be in format the mac can't read or write to so that could be an issue.

    Well known issue in LMS 2.6. Most likely you are hitting CSCsm97530. As a temporary solution you could remove and re-add problematic device from CS. To get a permanent fix you need a patch (provided by TAC).

  • Tool to Collect Inventory of Cisco devices in Network

      Hi,
     Would like to check if there is any free tool available which can help me to collect Inventory of my all Cisco Devices in my network.
     Please help
    Regards
    MAC

    For windows i only used the trial of solarwinds (wich is really good.) it also has free tools.
    If you are only looking for inventory purposes or you are looking for a monitoring tool too?
    For inventory you can use the ip address tracker (a free tool from solarwinds.)
    PRTG from Paessler will let you monitor up to 10 devices for free. if you want more you have to pay.
    Spiceworks (never try it) but i think its decent for inventory but if you want to monitor the devices you have you have to buy extra plugins (i think, not really sure.)
    And that´s what comes to my mind for now
    Regards!

    Forms do nothing by themselves.  You'll need a script to process the form data.  Ask your host which form to email processing script you can use on your server.  Often they will point you to one.  If they don't, there are some services or 3rd party scripts you can use to collect data from your site.
    WuFoo

    Forms to Go
    http://www.bebosoft.com/products/formstogo/ove
    PHP Formmailer script from DB Masters can be configured to process all the forms on your domain.  It conceals your email address from prying eye email harvesters and it has several  spam controls built into its script including  hidden field (honeypot), "sorta  captcha,"  and time limits on submissions to keep robots from exploiting your  forms.  Free to use if you credit the author; $20 if you don't.

  • How can I get values from listbox?

    Hi all,
    I need to get price values from Price List (Inventory -> Item Master Data screen). It's important to get values from field 'Price' BEFORE item will be added/updated.
    How can I get values from Pricelist listbox?
    Thanks for any suggestions or short sample code.
    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hi Andy
    Here is som sample code that will get the description of the price list and also the price that is displaying at the time. The item master must be open for this snippet of code
      Public Sub GetItemPriceFromOpenWindow()
            'this is assuming item master is open
            Dim oEdit As SAPbouiCOM.EditText
            oEdit = SBO_Application.Forms.GetForm("150", 1).Items.Item("34").Specific
            SBO_Application.MessageBox(oEdit.Value)
            Dim oCmb As SAPbouiCOM.ComboBox
            oCmb = SBO_Application.Forms.GetForm("150", 1).Items.Item("24").Specific
            SBO_Application.MessageBox(oCmb.Selected.Description)
        End Sub
    Hope it helps
