LMS 4.1 Network Topology Layer 2 view - Re layout map not working

I've finally got Topology Data Collection working on Prime LMS 4.1.
However, when I run Network Topology Layer 2 view and try and re-layout the view to any of the options, Circular, Hierarchical, Symmetrical or Orthogonal, the map never re-draws to that type of layout.It always stays as a mess.
I think it must be a 'feature'.
Any ideas ?

I searched again and didn't find any errors in the same line as the IP or Hostname of the unconnected switches. But I did notice that these switches and all of the devices upstream have "Discovery ani TopoSMFGenerateAbstractTopology" lines where the rest have "Discovery ani TopoSMFGenerateCdpTopology". Do I need to delete everything upstream to the seed device and then rerun a Data Collection? I've included the log. One of the unconnected switches is: 192.168.40.11 Display name: TC160_C. The icon does not appear on any of my devices. My ipad and ipones all are currently up to date and are all joined to the same network. Is it the way that my router is configured. Please help let me know what I need to change in my router settings or does my router not work with Airplay. Or is there a simple fix.

I hooked up new iMac to wireless network and now iPad and iPhone do not work using wireless. I am using a Netgear N300 router. Also my Netgear ethernet/homeplug for wireless TV internet no longer works. Any ideas?

This is true. If you use Fiddler to watch the requests from the list view quick edit you can see CSOM calls. For example when changing a value in a cell, when you tab out you will see the SetFieldValue and Update method calls on the list item.

Topology map not working in LMS 3.1

Hi,
I recently did a clean installation of LMS 3.1. The topology services is not working returning an error named "Failed to initialize: Java.lang.NumberFormatException: null"in the pop up window.
Any help would be appreciated

I can't unse this version of java plug-ins because in a screen of Campus
Manager said you need to install java 1.5. I deinstalled all plug-ins of Java of my notebook an then install only plug-ins that LMS 3.1 have jre-1_5_0_15-windows-i586-p_withvbj.exe
Only with this plug-ins, Topology map is working now.

I have a problem with Firefox when trying to use Street View in Google Maps. It basically kills the browser by being extremely slow. Now, this happens only when using SNA acceleration (default), but not with UXA or GLAMOR (just removed on latest update or xf86-video-intel). Everything else works fast and good with SNA, including WebGL in Firefox. Moreover, with Chromium I don't have this issue: Street View works fine with SNA.
This is an Intel based laptop with Gen5 Intel graphics (and in case it matters, I use KDE desktop):
# cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep SNA
[455944.801] (II) intel(0): SNA initialized with Ironlake (gen5) backend
Anyone else noticed this? Any idea of what can be the problem?

View by cover flow not working in Itunes 8.1

Hi all, I don't know what's Happened but view by cover flow has stopped working for some reason . view by list & view by grid still works but when i goto select view by cover flow, all I get is a blank screen where the albums should be & a empty space at the bottom. When I first installed Itunes & Quick time, view by cover flow was working. I havent used it tho for a couple of weeks then thought i'll try it again & now nothing. Is there a fix I can try to get it back to the way it was before it stopped working? It doesn't affect the use of Itunes in any way, (I can still sync to my 32gig Ipod touch no problem) but as I do use view by cover flow, I miss it & having to use view by grid & the moment (just means a double click on the album to see the tracks that's all), Yes all my drivers & directx are up to date & Itunes & quicktime are the latest versions. Cheers

So I found out how to clean this up. Make sure to replace "USER_NAME" with the right account name.
1. Remove Itunes, Quicktime, and Apple Mobile device Support.
2. Reboot PC
3. Delete C:\Program Files\Itunes Directory
4. Delete C:\Document and Settings\USER_NAME\Application Data\Apple Computer
5. Delete C:\Document and Settings\USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple Computer
6. Delete C:\Document and Settings\USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple
7. Reboot
8. Reinstall Itunes
This reset all of the settings and brought back the cover flow as well as keeping my existing files.
Obviously there was a easier way of doing this.. but a full clean install helps.

Alternative Access Mapping not working "You're not connected to a network"

i want to set up alternate access mapping in my sharepoint 2013 development environment.
My SharePoint is reachable through http://sp2013.
I created a second web application with listens on port 8080. When i open http://sp2013:8080 everything works fine and i can see my root site collection.
Next i added through "Add internal Urls" a new url -> http://sp2013test to the default zone.
Next i edited the bindings in the iss application for this web application and added http://sp2013test listening to port 80:
But i does not work! I get the message "You’re not connected to a network" from the ie.
I dont want have to call my WebApps through ports. I want to have WebApplication which i can call through clear names like http://customerWebApp1, http://customer2WebApp. All via Port 80.
Whats wrong here?

Hi Bob,
For you issue, try to map web application URLs to the local loopback address. For that you need to update host file at the path:(C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts)

Popups: Navigation from view to window does not work

Hi,
I open a second window as popup. This window has 2 views embedded, displaying view1 first. On some actions I would like to navigate to view2.
Defining an outbound plug on view1 and an inbound plug on view2, connecting them and firing the outbound withith the onaction works absolutely fine.
However, for some reasons I would like to avoid a direct navigation, but would like to navigate from view1 to the popupo window and from there to view2 (or maybe another view, ofcourse also embedded in the same popup window). Unfortunately I fail on this scenario - I can fire the view-to-window plug, but the destination on the window side (handle in method) is never reached.
Since the same concept works fine on non-popup windows I wonder whether a navigation from view to embedded window does not work for popups?
Any idea?

no, just one window.
The first link is view1 -> window, the second window -> view2.
I.e., I fire in the view the outbound plug, which is connected with its window.
In the window I fire an outbound plug, which is connected to view2.
In theory this should work - for non-popup windows I do not have any problem at all, however, for popup windows the navigation from view1 to the window is not processed.
In the meantime I played a little bit further: Instead of firing a navigation from view1, I now fire an event defined in the component contoller, on which an event method is registered within the window. Doing so, I reach the window, which I didn't reach via the navigation link. Once in the window, firing to view2 works just fine ...
Hope the issue is a bit clearer now. Also I found a solution, I am surprised that the simpler way via navigation does not work.

Layer mask brush/gradient tool not working in black.

I have cannot paint in black to conceal on a layer mask. I have "NORMAL" mode set and the foreground color is set to black. When I paint or use the gradient tool in "normal" mode with black it paints to transparent.   Before the uprade it was normal.   I have this problem on both CS6 apps pc-and-laptop. I am lost here. Can I get someone to help a brother out...

     Photoshop 12.1 x64 on OS X 10.7
Problem:
     Painting with black and using the 'gradation tool' inside a 'white' (everything exposed) layer mask is NOT WORKING:
The facts:
     1) Using a black-to-white gradation in a white layer mask is not working.
     2) Using a black-to-transparent gradation in a white layer mask is not working.
     3) But, a using a white-to-black gradation in a black layer mask is working.
     4) or, using a white-to-transparent gradation in a black layer mask is working.
This used-to work. Shall we keep an eye out for a fix or is Adobe going to back-out this bug from the update that broke this?

Two-side View as Preference does not work

Two Side View ist set as Preference (Edit-Preferences-Page Display - Page Layout- Two-up) but does not work when opening a File. Has to be set manually every time (View-Page Display) - any suggestions? Acrobat Reader 11.0.3

Klaus, I beg to differ: Any capable graphics app. should succeed in opening them, but the files themselves should open in the app. the user has assigned to them—usually the one whose icon they carry—and only in that app. Computers are supposed to do as they're told.
First off, assure yourself that all your maintenance is up to date: MacJanitor, or Onyx or … the like and permissions repair have helped me w/ this sort of issue.
The other sorta helpful note is that apparently there's more than one flavour of some file types like .pdfs, JPEGs and such. The helpful advice I got was to be prepared to "Change all" a few times w/ common types before Finder would finally get my drift. With Apple in the mixed up midst of file recognition by type and creator codes (old style) and by extension (their style) as well as by meta data (new style) it's a wonder anything opens, and no surprise that the Finder's 'sytsem' hiccoughs disappointingly often.

BUG?! "Last Slide Viewed" in Flash Export NOT WORKING!!!

Am I missing something? In Keynote, I create an object, assign a hyperlink to "Last slide viewed" and export the file to Flash/SWF.
Lo! Behold! The "Last slide viewed" hyperlinks are not working! I tried it on objects AND text, but nothing works.
Do you know a work-around or is this a hard bug?
I don't have to tell you the whole project is getting ready to be flushed...

I wouldn't call it a bug, more like something Apple just didn't implement. I mean, I have to wonder how hard it would have been to write a flash file that itself (not Keynote) tracks where the viewer is and remembers their last "slide"
Personally, I think the flash export on Keynote should NOT be one of its selling points. If you need a serious flash movie, it's best to just use flash.

Maps not working when connected to local-only WiFi network

Just FYI, while I had my iPhone connected via WiFi to the network my Time Capsule created but with the TC not connected to the internet (cable modem down), Maps (on the iPhone) refused to load any new content. Switched off WiFi, everything worked again.
It could be that any app (not just Maps) that required internet connectivity would not work in such a situation. I'll test that tonight.

Sorry to hear about any trouble with your picture messages! Let's get everything back up and running for you. Is mobile data still turned on when you're connected to WiFi? If so, can you try using the Google Hangouts application for your messaging instead? I'd like to test if this will allow you to receive picture messages even when on WiFi. Keep us posted!

Can any one help me on this.
