LMS 4.2 Port Status - Porlets

Port Status Details
The following portlets are displayed under Port Status pane:
•Link Ports
•Access Ports
•Trunk Ports
These portlets can contain 100 records by default.
The Question is:
How I can configure to show me these 3 portlets more than 100 records?

Hi Louis
You can create a schedule for Compliance Check job, in this solution first step you have to create a template for your configuration and then you should create Compliance job for your template and if your configuration has changed, you'll announcement about that with an email. if you want to oversee this solution inform me to help you.

  • Help, error connection Cisco Identity Services Engine with AD, global catalog port status error

    Dear all,
I have Cisco Indentity Services Engine, that  connected to Active Directory. When I test connection detailed,
    the result is error, said:
    Test Connection Results
This dialog shows the detailed logs for the operation for: idsv0018.
Status: FAILED: Global Catalog port status error.
    Can anyone help?
I believe,  because this error, I can't search group of AD, at Cisco ISE.
FYI: the connection from Cisco ISE to AD, joined with successful result.
    Thanks,
    Jerri

It's clears that when ISE tries to  find the GC using the _gc._tcp. DNS query. It doesn't find that  information on the Domain controller. The GC information is missing on  the DC.
    gc._tcp.DnsForestName
Allows a client to locate a Global Catalog (gc) server for this domain.

  • How to check the port status in IPSec VPN

    Hi Experts,
Is there any way by which we can find that the UDP port 500 is blocked at ISP side.
My IPSec VPN configured between two cisco router in production network is not coming up and experts are saying that the ISP has blocked the port 500 somewhere in between, however ISP denying and saying that they dont block any port.
kindly suggest what whould be the best wayout?
    Thanks

    Thanks Marvin,
How could I capture the traffic from initiating peer so that I can figure out that UDP port 500 is blocked or not, with the help of wireshark...
In my network ONT/Modem (having four ethernet port) is installed at both the end and from one of its port the router is connected at each side and IPSec VPN is configured between the router. to check the UDP port status, my question is, should i connect my laptop (running with wireshark) with one of the port of ONT and capture the traffice or is there any other way and how that traffice will tell me that port 500 is blocked or not?

  • Firewire port status check

How can I check the status of my firewire ports? I recently purchased and added an external hard drive (SimpleDrive 250 GB) mainly for downloading & burning videos...but ever since I installed the thing, suddenly iDVD, iMovie & even iChat do not detect my camcorders nor iSight cameras any longer. Does iMac have a firewire port status operation that I can run to see if my firewire ports are defective? Or...what do you recommend I do now?

It makes a difference if you have a new iMac Intel, an iMac G5, or something else.
If you have posted on the proper board for your machine, then check out this iMac Intel firewire thread (there have been others, as well):
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=445938&tstart=0
    Edit-
You can also run the Apple Hardware Test (AHT) that came on the grey labeled Install Discs with your machine. Insert the disc and check out the Read Me.

  • E3200 Port Status Questions

    Hi,
On my E3200 (Firmware v1.0.04) I have a gigabit service (Versa Technology Vx-200E) plugged in to the WAN port and 4 lines plugged in to the LAN ports.
The "Internet Port"  shows 10/100 Mbps   (Why might that be?)
    LAN Port Status's:
1 - Shows Gigabit.  (Connected to a Netgear GS108 Gigabit switch)
2 - Shows no status at all (Connected to a TP-Link TL-SG10005D gigabit switch)
3 - Shows no status at all (Connected to a TP-Link TL-SG10005D gigabit switch)
4 - Shows no status at all (Connected to a TP-Link TL-SG10005D gigabit switch)
Why does the Internet Port show 10/100 when a Gigabit is connected to it?
Why do LAN ports 2-4 show no status at all?
    Thanks.
    Paul
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Hey there, Paul! The WAN port of this router is not gigabit capable so there's no way it'll go beyond 10/100. The LAN ports will only show status if data packets are being transferred.

  • Firewire port status on cisco 435HDC?

Is there any advanced diagnostic screen to see what the status of this port might be? I knew how to get to it on the Motorola boxes but can't find anything similar for this new hardware.

Accessing the VZ OSD Menu Screen Using the Remote Control
The key combinations for the remote control to launch the VZ OSD is to press and hold the "D" key for 3 seconds and then press the  key or the  key. After the "D"  key is held down for 3 seconds, the Message LED on the front panel should start to blink to indicate it is ready
to accept the second key press. The Message LED should keep blinking until the second key is pressed within 10 seconds. If no second key is
pressed within 10 seconds, Message LED should stop blinking and the OSD activation process should be aborted.
Pressing the  key on the remote control on any of the OSD screen will exit from the OSD.
Accessing the VZ OSD Menu Screen Using the Front Panel
The key combinations for the front panel is to press Left Arrow (or VOL –) button and Center (or OK) button at the same time and hold them down for 3 seconds. (The front panel buttons are not available on the Class-E STB.)

  • 802.1x accounting does not reflect correct port status

    Hi,
I've just discovered an issue when trying to use MSFT supplicant and Cisco 802.1x accounting. This makes 802.1x accounting completely unusable.
    Facts:
    1. MSFT supplicant does not send EAPOL-Logoff messages and there's no way to enable this (btw. Aegis client does not send it either, except when disabling interface).
    2. I am doing machine authentication along with domain authentication.
    3. Windows XP SP2 is used with EAP registry hacks applied.
    4. PEAP/MS-CHAPv2 method is used.
Now when the computer is started it is logged into 802.1x with 'host/machine' account and RADIUS accounting start is sent by the switch. That's fine.
When a user logs on with its 'domain\user' identity, then EAPOL-Start is sent from the host triggering new EAP message exchange and the user is authenticated correctly. However the switch sends Interim Accounting still using 'host/machine' credentials which is obviously wrong.
Even more bizarre accounting happens when the user subsequently logs off from the machine. The EAPOL-Start is sent from the host triggering new authentication process for 'host/machine' identity and the host is authenticated ok. The accounting being sent is:
    - first Accounting Stop for 'host/machine' User-Name
    - then strange Interim Accounting with most attributes empty or missing

  • Ethernet Port Status 'No Link' ?

I get this status on the ethernet port(on the summary stauts page an AP350)' No Link'
    1. I can connect to the device via ethernet.
( since its root Ap and not reapeater mode)
    2. I have tried replacing diff ver. of code.
    3. The help menu does not lists 'No Link' as a possible state. It only has Down, Up, Error.
Does any one know whats going on ?
I have constant messages Started drivers for port fe0 and Stopped drivers for port fe0.
The port on the switch is alright. The clients connects to the AP and surf internet.
    Ping show connection intermitent.
Is the AP gone bad ?

Have you tried altering the speed/duplex setting on the AP? It could be having a spot of bother trying to auto-negotiate with whatever it is plugged into...
Try nailing it down to 10BaseT/Half Duplex or something, see if that helps at all. (From the 'home' page, click the 'ethernet' link, and then 'set properties' - there should be a dropdown box there where you can select alternative settings) And if you can, configure the port on the device at the other end to the same settings (might be difficult if you are plugged into a hub and not a switch).
    Hope That Helps

  • Monitoring TCP port status

I would like to know if a tcp port is open or not. How can i do it ?

    Hello IDS,
Thank you for contacting National Instruments.
I have created an example VI that expands on Stijn's response. The TCP listen will return IP and port information if the selected port is open. If it is not, the VI will time out and send an error. By putting the TCP Listen VI in a while loop and monitoring the error status, you can monitor the status of the TCP port.
You can adjust the timeout according to your needs.
    I hope this helps,

  • 1300 Bridge fa0 port status down

I have a remote 1300 bridge whose fa0 port consistently goes down after working well for over a week. It shows the port as admin up but line status down - no carrier. It plugs directly into a 1200 ap. I have tried to hard code the speed and duplex but the option to hard code the speed is not available. Any ideas?

    Hi
yes the console port on the power injector is is console port for the AP. probably the best way to recover the bridge is to connect the 1310 to a laptops etherernet port and use the console port to learn the IP of the 1310 then manage the 1310 with the GUI it can be done with the CLI but if you have not done a wireless bridge before stick with the GUI. Both 1310's need to be on the same subnet, this is for management not for bridging. the bridging is at level 2 unless you use VLANS but with the routers that should not be an issue. once you have configured the Root router save the config and use it to to congigure the non-root router changing the IP address and the role to Non Root. plug the network cables into the the apropriate router ports and you should be set.
this is assuming you know the userid/passwords for the AP's  the default was Cisco/Cisco.
if the antennas are alinged your bridge should be reliable.
based on the signal level between the AP's i would disable the B data rates use the G data rates and possibley disable the higher data rates if the radio stats show to many retrys, mor than 10%.

  • Arch ports - status?

    Hi,
I'd like to ask about the status of ArchLinux ports for other architectures. Some time ago I've been digging through the mailing list and read the discusion regarding the integration of ports (ppc, x86-64) with Arch. I remember a discussion regarding the PKBUILD styles (whether to have different PKBUILDS for each arch. or rather one PKBUILD with some complicated arch. specific sections).
While I know that the Arch64 project exists, I'd want to ask whether there will be an attempt to unify Arch with it's child projects.
I mean, it would be great to have packages for different architectures compiled and ready to get from the current tree, and PKGBUILDS which can be compiled on one of the supported platforms.
I'm particularly interested in the x86-64 port, as I'm considering buying a AMD Turion laptop and would  like to run Arch on it. But I'd much prefer running proper ArchLinux using the x86-64 rather than a separate child project Arch64.
Anyone could give some info about the latest decisions regarding ports and their integration with Arch?

There are three ports projects, ppc, 64 bit, and i586 (not sure if the latter is still alive). I don't know much about anything but 64 bit, but I assume the status is about equal for all. arch64 is very beta and sporadically updated. A few more dedicated developers with free time would be a wonderful thing there :-)
These aren't forks of arch linux, but are just ports; if they ever go stable with a semi-professional dev team and user community, I'm sure Judd will allow them back into the archlinux proper fold. That's the general idea, anyway. So yeah, they're ports, not forks.
Integration is a long ways off though, they need a lot more bugfixing and testing.
I use Arch32 on my system, the 64 bit port isn't stable enough for my needs right now and I don't havet he time to develop it that I would like.

  • Start event immediately after reading parallel port status

    Hello,
I have a spectrometer for acquiring triggered pulses spectra, it works fine with labview, but I need to make it start the acquisition immediately after an event read by the parallel port in order to distinguish odd and even pulses after this event (wich have different properties). I used a flat sequence: in the first frame I wait until the pin number 12 becomes 1, and in the other frame I start the acquisition of N triggered spectra (nothing else, all the initialization of the spectrometer is done before).
What I saw is that it doesn't work: sometimes is takes 1 ms to jump to the second frame and I miss a pulse (pulses @ 1 kHz).
Is there a way to make it more efficient? To launch the triggered acquisition process immediately after the pin status switch?
    Thank you very much,
    Daniele

    Hi daniele,
While it's not clear what is connected to the parallel port or what the trigger-options are on the spectrometer, in general it would be best to physically wire a trigger signal from source to destination.  Can the spectrometer be configured to acquire based on an external trigger?  Can pin 12 of the parallel port (via break-out board) be wired to spectrometer trigger-in?
Considering the 1KHz trigger rate, I wouldn't rely on a multi-tasking OS to implement a software trigger "Immediately".
If aquisition must be triggered via software, event-based logic is desireable - I'm not sure whether that's possible here.  By Event-based, I mean use of LabVIEW Event functions.  There are some serial-port-pin (CTS,DSR,etc) event options available via "VISA Enable Event".  The logic would configure the event then wait on the event before invoking the data-aquisition, that is, IF it's even possible to get pin 12 to trigger an Event.
    Luck/Cheers!
