Hello,
I have a problem with inventory collection from several devices getting
"RICS0001:Internal Error,unable to process the collected data from the device."
ERROR,[Thread-20],com.cisco.nm.rmeng.inventory.ics.server.InvDataProcessor,918,Device does not exist in RME, Please check if device is already deleted

Did you schedule an inventory collection job?
Delete schedule and recreate it using device group.

They are definately supported. However such issues are usually due to device packages, if unavailable or not installed.
Please do following :
1. Check Admin > software centre > device updates and check any devices packages available in Cisco.com and install it and recheck.
2. Please do a snmpwalk on problematic device on sysObjectID and share result. Following is the way to do snmpwalk :
GUI - Open the device in Device Centre (Inventory > Tools > Device Center) and open the device with IP and from tools select snmpwalk and do it for sysObjectID (1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2)
CLI : CD to NMSROOT/objects/jt/bin from command prompt. run command as per following syntax:
snmpwalk -v2c -c <snmp_community_string> 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2
Example :
community string = test123
IP = 10.1.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c test123 10.1.1.1 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2
3. Please check your device package, by clicking on the number of packages in front of Inventory, conifg and image management from :
Admin > System > Software Center > Device Update
Also, check device identity under edit identity option from :
Inventory > Device Administration > Add / Import / Manage Devices

I don't know where the German error message comes from. The whole system is English. Translation is: "ASA error -192: primary key for table 'PhysicalElement' isn't distinct'

Well known issue in LMS 2.6. Most likely you are hitting CSCsm97530. As a temporary solution you could remove and re-add problematic device from CS. To get a permanent fix you need a patch (provided by TAC).

Internal error: Unable to find the access rule.

I have a Cisco ASA 5550 and using ASDM 6.2.
Opening the ASDM, in Firewall Dashboard, in Top 10 Access Rules, show the second rule with more hit: "interface X | source: any | Dest: any | Service: ip | Action: Permit.
During the day, the hits increase and decrease.
Well, the problem: That rule there isn't.
When I click with the right mouse button and click on show rule, a message is displayed:
"Internal error: Unable to find the access rule."
I can't find the rule in Configuration Mode and in Console Mode.
Well, the rule there isn't.
What can I do for this rule disappears from the Top 10 Dashboard?

One more question about NSDP, Im still wondering how can NSDP work as you only need to declare nsdpInfo.setKeyColumn("xx") --xx
Eg. My result set come from OBIEE, it hase 2 column xx and yy.
Im just copy the sample code to translate the output into xml, the output sample is like:
Column 1 Column 2
440100 0
440200 5
440300 1
So how can MapViewer know that the second column is the value column?
The same question is about when the output is multiple column.

Webservice- Error: "Unable to process the request"

i´ve performed the example from the TECHED08 BPM262 "How to Use Business Rules With Business Process Management".
Everything works as described in the example. The process works till the automated activity "Assess Liable Parties" which calls the selft created webservice "LiabilityAssessmentRules".
I´ve tried to call the webservice directly with soapUI and get the following faultcode back:

Web service returned error: "Unable to process the request"

i´ve created a small Rule Project to test creating webservices. I´m using XSD to define the Rules.
After this, i´ve created the .ear file with the webservice generation tool and i´ve deployed the file. I´ve built and deployed the Rule Project too.
Now i will test the Webservice with the WebService Navigator and i get the following fault code:
After i´ve read some posts, i´ve found in Log and Traces the Error "No GUID found for ruleset 'FindUser'". I´ve checked the name of the ruleset in the webservice generation tool, but it´s exactly the same!
I´ve checked the tips from my last post , but the error still exists.
Has anyone any idea what the problem might be?

yes, i´ve deployed the rule project into the Application Server.
The link that you´ve send me is from my last post. I´ve already checked all tips, but the error still exists.
In this case i´ve created a very small rule project, with one Decision Table and one Rule. I´ve created my own .xsd file to create the Decision Table. After this i´ve deployed the rule project into the Application Server and generated the .EAR file with the Web Service Generator Tool. Then i´ve deployed the .EAR file into the Application Server and tried to test this.
Do you have another idea?

I run RME 4.1.1, I have the following error when I try to inventory a MCS 7825 : RICS0001:Internal Error,unable to process the collected data from the device. I attached the IC_Server.log.

I have RME 4.0.6. I did not want to open a TAC case and had seen things about increasing the SNMP timeout. I went into RME and edited the device attributes for the devices I was having problems with. 10 second timeout still failed, but a 30 timeout fixed the issue. hope that helps.

NI-Farm internal error - unable to compile FPGA VI

Hello!
When I try to compile any FPGA VI with LabVIEW2013 or 2012 SP1, I receive the following error:
"An error occurred attempting to connect to this compile server.
Details:
NI-Farm Internal Error: Client received unexpected or bad data from the server."
The intermediate files are not generated, the error appears immediately after I select build from build specification, or after I click the run arrow.
I'm using local compile server.
The hardware I use: CompactRIO Evaluation Board - SbRIO9636, Laptop DELL, Intel core2 Duo, T5800, 2GHz, 3GB RAM, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, SP1.
Intermediate files CAN be generated w/o any issues, if I select from the menu. If I launch FPGA Compile Worker, a balloon message appears specifying that "FPGA compile worker is running" but after a few seconds, another message pops up: Multiple log on attempts have been unsuccessful - please see attached images.
At first I thought that my firewall(Comodo 6.3) is the reason for this, so I disabled it but nothing changed. Then I tried to repair LabVIEW FPGA, and XILINX tools with the firewall disabled but din not resolve the problem. I tried with both LabVIEW 2012 SP1 and 2013.

Compile worker is set to local compile server. I could not start MAX 5.4 because of an Cmx exception, and after I upgraded MAX to 5.5, a missing dll error occurred. So long story short, I installed LabVIEW2013. Now MAX is working and I could generate a technical report. Only NI-RIO Server and NI License Server services were set on manual (or stopped?). I started both of them but still cannot compile FPGA vi.

and when i am entering the details of employee Id,Name,Gender,DateofBirth and clicking save button iam getting the following error

Things i have tried till now are
1)changed the name of the name of the endpoint address basicHttpBinding to basicHttpBinding_IEmployeeService but still get the save error.
2)Opened the Message Log Trace. Got the error as follows

I didn't use Fiddler before, I just download and use it but how to see the request message from this software?
I have logged the request to event log before send to web service and copy this request from event log to testing with soapUI, so I don't think have between the actual messages being sent to your client via orchestration and soapui. In the log Response shape
I see the fault response in event log.
You can see
this link to know how to use fiddler. As I suggested above the error you need to check is at the server side who is hosting the service( your party ) because you are getting fault response properly from them. The webservice you are calling seems to look
like WCF service too. Your life would have been so easier if you could ask them to have firewall open from your dev box to their dev server so that you can use use "Add Service Reference" wizard, that even they have .NET wcf service too.
Did you by any chance manage to talk to them what they are getting or if they can increase the exception details in the fault message for you?

Oracle ODBC - Internal Error - unable to initialize NLS during driver load

I'm having some trouble with my ODBC connections which I hope someone can please help me with!
About 6 weeks ago all was working as normal.
As far as I know there have been no updates to the ORacle DB, the Windows XP operating system or the ODBC Drivers.
Today when I opened access and visual case 2 to connect to Oracle I was at first greeted with a:
unable to connect SQLState=IM004 SQL_HANDLE_ENV
error. ODBC also kept crashing.
I restarted the computer and was confronted with a different error:
odbc SQLSTate 08004 ORA 12154 TNS could not resolve the connect identifier specified
I was able to fix this error by setting the environment variable TNS_ADMIN in windows xp environment variables. I'm extremely confused about how this happened though as it was working and I don't think anything has changed.
I was then able to connect to the database via Microsoft Access but when I opened Visual Case 2 and tried to make an update, I was confronted with the following error:

I looked in the registry at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Oracle\KEY_OraClient10g_home1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Oracle\KEY_OraClient10g_home2
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Oracle\KEY_OraDb10g_home1
and NLS_LANG was set to "AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252" in all 3 places.
(Though KEY_OraClient10g_home2 only had 4 entries as opposed to KEY_OraClient10g_home1's 13 entries)...
Since I made those changes I can no longer connect through Access.
I just receive a ODBC - connection to 'xxx' failed

Actually it sort of does...
I switched the ODBC connection to use instant client and now it's all working again.
The biggest mystery is what changed to make it suddenly stop working the old way...
