LMS3.2 User Tracking IP Phones Discovery Doesn't Work

I am having difficulty getting the User tracking for IP Phones to work correctly in Ciscoworks LMS 3.2.
Callmanager is version 7.1.5.10000-12. Campus manager version is 5.2.1
The Callmanager publisher and two subscribers are all showing as application servers with green icons under the topology services view.
The callmanagers show as CDP neighbours on the switches to which they are connected.
I can do an SNMP walk of the ccmPhoneTable from the Ciscoworks devicecenter and get a ton of returned data.
The IP phones are discovered as end hosts and have mac address and IP address info when checked in the User Tracking utility.
Callmanager sysObjectID = OID: CISCO-PRODUCTS-MIB::ciscoMCS7835I
Any help you could give with troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

I had seen that document and been through the processes
The mac and IP addresses of the ip phone are discovered.
The callmanagers are discovered and have green application server icons in the topolgy view
I can do an snmpwalk of the ccmPhoneTable OID and get returned data (as per this post by JClarke https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/664859#664859)
I can't do an snmpwalk of the ccmPhoneExtension as described in that document but I assume that since it applies to campus manager 3.2 and 3.3 that it is a bit dated and not relevant to later versions of callmanager.
I think that I have covered all the basic cdp/snmp and discovery issues. Any suggestions on where to go from here would be appreciated.

I set up the "Issue tracker" tutorial to get in tuch with the apex (htmldb vers. 2.0)
All is working well but: Return the User to the Calling Page -> doesn't work. I performed all steps as descriped in the tutorial (iclusive the '.' on the &P7_PREV_PAGE ;-) ).
I use my own aplication at home and followed all the instruction steps few times but it does not work. Can you help me please?
Do I have to install something more?
In the Branch section: * 1: Go To Page &P7_PREV_PAGE. (Unconditional)
In the Item section: 90: P7_PREV_PAGE Hidden
In the Button section for cancel Button: &P7_PREV_PAGE.
Here is the description of the function in the tutorial:
Because this Create/Edit page will be called from several places, when users finish with the display they should return to the calling page. To accomplish this, you create an item and change the branch on this page. Every time this page is called, the item must be set with the number of the calling page.
To create a hidden item:
1. Under Items, click the Create icon.
2. For Select Item Type, select Hidden and click Next.
3. For Display Position and Name:
1. For Item Name, enter:
P7_PREV_PAGE
2. For Region, select Issue Identification.
3. Click Next.
4.
Click Create Item.
Next, edit the Cancel button.
5. Under Buttons, select Cancel.
6. Scroll down to Optional URL Redirect.
7. In Page, enter:
&P7_PREV_PAGE.
Note the period at the end.
8. Click Apply Changes.
Next, edit the branch.
9. Under Action, enter the following in Page:
&P7_PREV_PAGE.
10. Click Apply Changes.
All steps are done but I still got the message: Error ERR-1016 Application "106" Page "0" not found (requested language="de")

I haven't looked at that tutorial for quite a while but just gave it a quick look.
Further down in the tutorial, it directs you to set the value of P7_PREV_PAGE, under Add Functionality to Support Adding Multiple Issues Sequentially - have you done that? There is also a mention that there is more branching to be done - "The branch you just created is looking for a value in P7_PREV_PAGE. Since the page was not called from another page, the value has not been set. You need to fix that next." It goes on to have you define that value from other places.
Can you describe what you are doing when you get the error? There could be something missing from the tutorial. A way around it would be to create a default value for P7_PREV_PAGE so that if it is not set, a default page will be used.

Phone Redirection doesn´t work after Publishing

I published an alreday working Version of my Website with Muse. The Redirection to the Phone Resolution doesn´s work anymore, although all Pages are still in place in the phone directory. The Redirection worked yesterday after the first publishing of the phone Resolution, but after the publishing today, only the desktop sides are available.

I solved the Problem by adding the Muse javascript Redirect-Script from a non-BC Site (via FTP):

User tracking ip/host resolution how it works

I know usertacking using layer 3 devices to resolve host name/ ip address. on my case devices are behind the firewall and the devices not on my router arp table . the arp table is on firewall show the mac. however interestingly usertracking still resolve the name.the firewall is not even a cisco brand. that is very new to me and I im thinking may be i am not fully understand user tracking. can some one explain to me. thanks in advance

I've been meaning to write up a doc on how UT works. In the meantime, for layer 3 resolution, UT does a few things. Historically, it has always tried to acquire ARP entries from layer 3 devices in the network during its acquisition cycles. A layer 3 device need not be a router. It can be a 3560 switch, for example. Firewalls (even Cisco firewalls) are not supported for this. Using this layer 3 info, UT will perform a reverse lookup to get a hostname for the end host.
The next thing UT does to get layer 3 information is to listen for UTLite updates from Windows hosts. These updates will contain the MAC address of the client, the username logged into the client, and the IP address of the client. UT will not do a lookup of this information to get a hostname, however.
Finally, UT can query switches for DHCP snooping details to find an IP address. This is dependent on dynamic UT being enabled, and that the end host triggered a MAC notification trap to be sent. Of course, the switch to which the user connects must have DHCP snooping enabled. Again, UT will not perform a hostname lookup on this IP.
My guess based on what you describe is that you have some layer 3 devices in your network like 6500s, 3560s, 4500s, etc. that have some ARP entries populate, and UT is using these to get IPs. That assumes you're seeing hostnames. If you are only seeing IPs, then you could be using UTLite or dynamic UT with DHCP snooping.

Iphone 4s phone speaker doesn't work

For the last few months (possibly since the last iOS upgrade), the phone speaker on my iPhone 4s has stopped working. I am not talking about the open (handsfree) type speaker, which does work (as does bluetooth speakers and headsets), but the one you use when holding the phone to your ear.
This becomes very annoying, when I receive (or want to make) a call where I don't have a handsfree kit available and don't want everyone else to listen in on the call. It certainly doesn't work when I make outbound calls (I just tried it with voicemail). I always need to enable the full speaker to hear anything at all.
Bizarrely, I took a call last week and it suddenly worked that time, so this seems to be intermittant. The phone was never ever dropped or anything, so I would not expect this to be a hardware issue per se. Any ideas?
I should note that the phone is still within its first year. Would this be covered under warranty?

Yes, all iPhone 4S still have full Warranty. Make Genius Reservation and take iPhone to Apple for resolution.

Particularly of note:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.

Kin Twom phone audio doesn't work w/o headset

Hey there guys,
For the past few weeks, the audio on my Kin Twom phone will not work whenever someone calls me (or I call them) unless I am using a plugged in headset (I have not tried a blue tooth headset yet). This is very annoying when I need to call people for work, or my coworkers need to call me and I cannot hear the caller on the line because I don't carry a headset with me everywhere I go. The phone speaker works randomly about 10% of the time, and even today the audio was not working for several minutes, then suddenly turned on in the middle of an attempted phone call to my boss. Apparently, the caller can still hear me on their side, because they have texted me back directly after a call asking why I was talking to them and could not hear them.
I don't know if it is a different set of speakers, but my music can still play through the phone's speakers; only the phone calls do not work. I would say I take rather good care of this phone, and I have never dropped it, so I don't understand what is happening. Any help would be much appreciated.

Three friends and I are having the same problem. For one friend it started with messages coming from me and they hadn't upgraded to 5.1.1 yet.
It's very odd. The messages are all going through, too. I've tested it so far enough to say with about 93% accuracy that all the "not delivered" messages are making it through.

I have a 2006 Lexus RX330 and want to play my nano 6th generation through radio. Don't want to use 'tape cassette'. What FM transmitters are really good? I have wireless bluetooth for phone but doesn't work for music.

There are so many FM transmitters ranging from $2.00 to $100.00. I have a tape cassette in car and an old cassette adapter that doesn't work well and makes noise. The car has bluetooth wireless for iPhone but does not play music (unless I just couldn't figure this out. I want the best transmitter for city driving, but one that doesn't cost too much. Any success stories?

For anyone following, I looked further into the tape cassette adapter and it seems to get the best reviews vs. FM transmitter. Guess there is a good reason that I have the last year model with a tape cassette. Worth mentioning is the Maxell one gets a better review than the Monter one. Not sure why, but it's cheaper. Anyone else find a good quality tape cassette adapter?

3g phone reset and now doesn't allow me to sync my music, phone function doesn't work anymore

I have a 3g iPhone that was given to me by my daughter, years ago, and then it died as a phone, I tried to reset the phone because that is what I was told to do to make it work as a phone and instead it reverted to the previous service provider and now it doesn't allow me to sync or update my music. gives me a blank page with a We're sorry, we are unable to continue with your activation at this time. Please try again later, or contact customer care. Any ideas, it doesn't have a phone number.

Provisioning a user with a resource automatically doesn't work!!

Hi Experts – IHAC trying to configure OIM to provisioning a user with a resource automatically (via OID connector).
As reviewed, the membership rules (rules designer) and access policies already configured with correct param. So I would say everything should work fine.
But when they create a new user with proper attribute. The resource didn’t perform an automate process as expected.
In the log file show only 2 lines of error message.

How can I get my Bluetooth to connect? I took it to the apple store in San Francisco and got horrible service and my phone still doesn't work in regards to Bluetooth and glitches ? Please help

I am very disappointed, I can not connect my Bluetooth to any device (ie. beatpill) and I took it to the store they reset my phone and told me everythibg should work and it turns out that nothing works. Not only the Bluetooth but my phone glitches while in use (ie. It freezes, it'll reset randomly, and the apps freeze or won't close, whrn texting it will close out my messages) things of that nature. Please help because thus far no one else has and it has become a problem for me to use my phone.

What does the beat pill manual say on how to pair to iphone?
We have no issue connecting an iphone 4S/5/5S or 6 to it.
