Hi all,
Can any body tell me what is use of
"<b>Maintaince</b>"(Maintainece 2LIS_02_HDR Active) in the Lo-**** pit customising screen(LBWE) What happens when we click and select the feilds in it? Should we transfer the feilds to the left or right? what are the feilds on left side indicate what are on the right indicate

Hi,
"Maintenance" is where you maintain you Extract structure for your data source. When you click on this you will see a Extract Structure on the left side and Communication structure on the right side. You maintain fields like add/ remove from/to extract structure. When you do this and save, you can see that your extract strutre is saved and the traffic light for the data source will turn Red. You need to generate the data source with this extract structure.

Satyacreate a maintanance view using two tables using default navigations and activate (ignore wornings)
click on "utilities"menu.
table maintanance generator
opens an interface,set the authourization group as "ates"
specify name of function group(name of the function group)where code should be generated
select the maintanance type as "one step"
specify the screen number(s11) in overview screen field
click on "create" from application toolbar
save the objects under a package with request number
add prompts a message as "request completed without errors".
this view cant be accessed directly by abap reports,as these are designed for mpp.
test the maintanance view code created properly or not using "se54" tcode.

BI Admin Cockpit - Portal Runtime Error
Hi,
We have BI 7.0 (NW 7.0 with EHP1) BI_CONT 704. It is a dual stack (ABAP+JAVA) installation.
We have deployed "BI Administration 1.0" on the java stack. All the configurations are done as per notes.
Error is faced when trying to access BI Admin cockpit from portal.
When we click on BI Administration -> Data Load Status it should load two selector iViews in the left hand pane but it gives error.
Error message is given below:
Portal runtime error.
An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception ID to your portal administrator.
Exception ID: 03:02_06/08/10_0022_406159550
Refer to the log file for details about this exception.
Please help.

you can create a sub package for roles in conent->user->data.
and can create file like user.hdbrole, admin.hdbrole,, etc
or Go to Services content menu > HCI OData Provisioning > Manage Roles. -

I dont find or see STock initialization 2LIS_03_BX data source in my LO cockpit or in RSA6 Tx screen, instead i find 2lis_40_s278.. what should i do to activate 2lis_03_bx data source and not with the above 2lis_40_s278...I am using R/3 4.7E as a source system

Install the DS usingt RSA5 and then only it will be visible in RSA6.

Purchase Order error message when on Sourcing Cockpit.
Hi All,
I have encountered a series of error messages when I try to convert my Shopping Cart into a Purchase Order in SRM 5 within the Sourcing Cockpit. I am using Extended Classic Scenario and have defined the number range in SRM and ECC5. The error messages are below, the moment i try to concert the cart to a Po;
- Internal number range is missing for transaction type. Inform syst. admin
- Transaction type * does not exist. Check entries
- Some backend documents could not be generated, or they contain errors Further Information
- No status object is available for
I have checked the transaaction type, number ranges assignments, attributes in PPOMA_BBP but fail to find the cause.
Any pointers would be welcome!

The number ranges are consistent as I have checked the number range for local purchase order and this is set as an internal between the range 3000000000 - 3999999999. On the transaction type for BUS2201 Purchase Order, 30 has been set as the Int Number Range, with all other fields left blank.
The strange thing is that the documents that failed to convert into a PO had been reprocessed in the Application Monitor for Purchase Orders, but when I go back into Sourcing to create the PO, I now get the message:
"You have either failed to select an item, or you cannot create a follow-on document due to an error that has occurred"

PO qty reduced who brings the cart into cockpit

scenario
sc created with 2 qty
PO created by Buyer 2 qty via cockpit .
Again Buyer received a call from requestor that requestor needs only 1 qty rather than 2.
then again BUYER changed the qty to 1 from 2 via me23n. Now again shopping cart venture into cockpit due to mismatch between sc qty and PO qty .
no good receipt done so far since so far buyer did not send the PO to vendor.
how sc comes to cockpit after some time? who is really doing this wotk get status - variant which data plays important role here. or clean job brings... confusion.

Finally, I tried putting 0 in last.. days and running BBP_GET_STATUS_2 in debug mode. From what I see it is looking at all the SC's in the system and trying to update status for each of them. We normally run this job with 30 days on a hourly basis.
Yes. during that time all locks will happen .did you notice in sm12 . no one can perform any activity.

I am creating a report that will have Open Orders, Sales Orders and Deliveries.
For my open orders, I want to see:
1.sales orders or the deliveries, which are not billed
2.deliveries which are not goods issued
3.sales order which are confirmed, but not delivered
4. Or any other type of open order.
I need to know what are the Data Sources in LO Cockpit that I need to activate?
These data sources will be feeding the cube 0SD_C03.

JanetHi...From my own experience i recommend you to activate the possible datasources that you think could be useful for you...and run the RSA3 transaction in order to see if any of them beings the data you need....
check the Help.sap.com in order to see tha structure for every datsource

We can create the following documents from a shopping cart: Bid Invitation, Auction and Purchase Order, but not a Contract. The system goes exits out and dumps the following messages:

Please maintain the transaction type for the BO/TransCat- BUS2000113 in the SPRO at the path SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings->Define Transaction Types and also if you have implemented the Badi BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS , please verify the code for the method ~CONTRACT_LOGSYS_DETERMINE.

Error while activating TCT and BI admin. Cockpit (Urgent)

We are configuring NW 04s BI system right now. We have followed the general settings on the system after Basis handed that over to us accrding to Best Practice config. document. Now to install BI administration cockpit, we need to activate the technical content for executing the BI Admin. cockpit. First of all, when we tried to install technical content automatically, we got this error msg no. RSTCO_UT013 and in our 2nd trial we are getting err msg no RSQBW400. First msg was about the job BI_TCO_ACTIVATION failure. Second msg is " There is no A version of Infoset 0RSTT_I07. Because of the errors, we are not able to install any standard business content. Every time we run a background job, it gets cancelled.
We are applying the OSS notes no. 965386 and 934484. If any one has any idea of resolving the issue plz. let us know. Full points will be awarded for the correct answers. Thanks <b></b>Hi All,

If not, you need do manual correction and apply more than 50 notes. -
Error while activation of Bi content of Bi cockpit

I am doing BI content activation for BI admin cockpit, from SPRO -- Activation of BI content of BI admin cockpit , i ran the activation but it got failed. The error message says:
DataSource 0TCTBWOBJCT_ATTR from source system BWQCLNT500 could not be activated
This error is coming for data sources :0TCTPRCSVAR_ATTR, 0TCTBWOBJCT_TEXT, 0TCTPRCSVAR_TEXT and 0TCTBWOBJCT_ATTR.
I have applied the sap note 1110642 , 1110641 . also ran the program RSSM_SHIPDVERS_CLEANUP but did not able to find these info packages for this data spurces:

AkashAkash you may be wrong.
When I tried to install Technical content in my BW system, I faced the same problem what you have mentioned.
What the system does in such cases is gathers certain system specific informations from teh connected sources. In my case, it tried to install teh datasources to the APO system & the CRM system.
However I unchecked the option while installing from Business Content for these two systems and rest went on fine.
Myself source system was perfectly ok and the DS got installed correctly on BW.
So please check if the error is for other Source Systems.

Error BRAIN 276 when you execute a Web template in BI Admin Cockpit in EP

I have Installed BI Administration Business Packages in Portal and configured necessary steps in BI System.I have assigned the role in Portal and BI System.
I tried executing one iview...and was getting the following error:

and when i click on the above error ..i was getting another window which shows below message:

I was suggested by SAP Note 1014795 to do the below changes :
TEMPLATE_ID=0TPLI_0TCT_MCA1_Q0143 To TEMPLATE=0TPLI_0TCT_MCA1_Q0143
Please note that the above note says to replace TEMPLATE_ID by TEMPLATE in the property of "BEX Web application Query String" of the IView in Portal
and also please note that i have Version=SAP BW 2.X/3.X in Iview Property .
After having made the above changes iam getting the BEX Web Analyzer...where i have the options to open a query ( from all the infoareas of BI System).and then i will select the query (0TCT_MCA1_Q0143) and am executing the same to display the data.
i know that this Is not the correct way of executing the iview for BI Admin Cockpit.
Can anyone help me how to execute the Web Template automatically when the user clicks on IView ?
we have all the above Web Templates Corresponding to BI admin cockpit in active mode in when checked from WAD 3.X , but when when i search for the above web templates in WAD 7.0 i do not find them
Is there anything that i need to activate in BI System ? Or in Portal System?
Or do i have to execute the above web templates in BI WAD before linking them to portal iviews?
Do we have to Migrate the Web Templates from BW 3.5 to BI 7.O?

1) How come there are more than 1 template with same name and Query with same names- for example:

AND

2) How come the delivered process chains load other technical content, but does not load 0TCT_CA1
Basis re-deployed the bi admin cockpit contents, but still have error in loading template 0TPLI_0TCT_MCA1_Q0114.
3) Do we need to do any of the following?
