Load 1080p movies onto iPhone 4S

One of the things I do at work is test and program displays and projectors for large. one of the reasons I bought the 4S is because it can handle 1080p out. on a very large screen, 720p is very noticable. what i'm finding out is it can record 1080p and with the AV adapter you can play them in 1080p onto a screen, but you can't load any movies in the same format that are 1080p onto the device. I havwe tried numerous formats with different bitrates, compression rates etc and iTunes won't let me place them on my phone....
Is there any way around this or a solution I am not catching? It would be nice to carry around the iPhone 4S and the AV cable, and not have to carry a Blu-Ray player, a Blu-Ray movie, and the power cables over to each device.

Is there something special about notes, messages and list of previous calls?
Using the Ibackupbot I could nicely open my backup files and saw that everything is stored in there. I copied the fotos from the backup to my Iphone 4S without a problem and the apps to. Some of the saved app data was also transfered. Then I also tried to transfer notes, messages and list of previous calls and although the program claims that everything was transfered successfully, I can see nothing of those on the iphone.
And while we are at trying stuff: using a backup with encryption also does not help. I don't really know what else to try. Except for just ignoring all these files...
so: still no clue whats wrong.

Canadians loading videos/movies onto one's ipod

...does anyone know if one can yet purchase movies (or any videos for that matter) onto itunes and then onto one's ipod video? ....oh, ....and how does one load DVD's of movies onto itunes and then onto the ipod? .....

Here's a step by step.
1) Install Instant Handbrake from http://download.m0k.org/handbrake/testing/Instant-HandBrake-20060421.dmg.
2) Insert your DVD you want to rip.
3) Open Instant Handbrake
4) Select the settings you want. An example can be found here: http://download.m0k.org/handbrake/images/HandBrake-2006042100.jpg. I would recommend turning subtitles off for iPod viewing.
5) Select the title that contains the movie. It is usually the one with the longest run time. Just put a check mark in the box.
6) Click convert and wait! Conversion takes no less than the run time of the DVD. (60 minute movie = 60 minutes to convert, but could be faster).
7) After conversion is complete, quit Instant Handbrake.
8) Open iTunes. Go to File -> Import and navigate to your movies folder. There you will find a file named with the DVD name, file format, title number, etc. Click import. If you have iTunes set to automatically copy files to the iTunes music folder (you can check under the advanced tab of preferences), you can safely delete the original file from your Movies folder.
9) Plug in your iPod and sync!
I hope this helps. Is it worth it? If you want to watch movies on your iPod, then yes!

Saving quicktime movies onto iphone

i apologize if this has been discussed before...
how do i get my quicktime movies (from digital cameras, movie clips, internet clips, etc...) onto my iphone? do they have to be in mpeg4 format first, then drag them over to 'movies' on itunes, which will then sync with the iphone?
if that's the case, then how do i, for example, save an .avi file as an mpg4 file?
it would be nice to be able to see your own movies (not just the ones you buy on itunes) on your iphone...

Assuming your movies can open in Quicktime, go to the 'File' menu and choose 'Export.' In there, click on the drop-down menu next to 'Export' and choose 'Movie to iPod' and click on 'Save.'
Once the movie is fully exported, drag the exported movie into iTunes. From there, you can sync it with your iPhone.

Need help loading flv movie onto stage from a button click

Hi folks, I need your help.
I'm new to flash so please bear this in mind.
My problem is this:
I have a picture of a phone on the stage which I have made
into a button.
What I want is that, when I click on this button (phone_btn),
my video (called 'TyreChange.flv') will appear on the stage. And I
will have the option of removing the video to get rid of it from
the screen.
The stage is like a menu, where I can click a number of
objects and the relevant video or element will appear.
The TyreChange video is in the same folder as my project but
I have not imported it into the library. If I do that, the video
goes onto the stage as well as the library, and it appears as the
name FLVPlayback for some reason.
I only want the video on the stage when the user clicks the
'phone_btn' button.

I am also trying to determine if a child is on the stage and if it is, remove it. I have created a button that will jump back on the timeline and the mc's that were loaded after this point in time.
This looks like it should work. It doesn't give me any errors but the mc remains on the stage.

How to load new photos onto Iphone without duplicating old photos?

I use my IPhone to store all of my photos and want to update it actively every couple of weeks, i recently tried to add to the existing photos on my iphone but found that the photos that were on the phone to begin with are now all duplicated, but the IPhone isn't registering that they are duplicated (ie - if the folder has 30 photos in it and recognises 30 photos there are actually 60 photos in the album that I can see?) How can I add to the photo folder without the existing photos duplicating?

Try removing/deleting the iPod Photo Cache folder from the folder of photos on your computer's hard drive you have selected to be transferred to your iPhone followed by another sync.

Playing movie on iphone issue

I transfer a movie onto iphone, start playing and all works well. If I pause for a few minutes and go back to play, only audio comes through and no video. I must restart the movie and both work again. Happens on multiple movies transferred onto ipod

No, there is no way of adding video (or audio) data to an iPhone other than by synicng it with iTunes.
However, if you are using WiFi with your iPhone, you could try streraming video to your iPhone from your home cimputer. Ok I loaded a movie onto my HD I converted the avi to mov and it plays choppy using quicktime

You don't have to buy new if you don't want to.
I've bought numerous Apple portables on eBay, but you really have to know what you're doing. Trial and error is not a way to go on such an expensive item.

Unable to load home movies

I have a Sony Digital Handycam. I have a new Pavilion g7-1150 Notebook, with Widows 7. What do I have to open in order to load home movies onto the computer. I tried hooking up with a firewire,with no recognition from the computer.

I think I've answered my own question! I'm using a Nano and I'm betting it won't run videos, right? Meanwhile my wife's iPod 5G has updated successfully.

I have a couple of slideshows I made on iMovie years ago that played fine on iPhone 4. Now I cant get them to sync onto iPhone 4S. What am I doing wrong.

What you need to do is download a movie file converter to convert your movies to mp4 which is the ipod format. I use one called "ipodvideoconverter" just google it and you'll find one that works. Just a heads up though... it usually takes 3-5 hours to convert a 2 hour movie.

About 6 months ago I discovered iTunes was set by default to 720p. These MUST BE CHANGED TO 1080P!!!!!!!!.......So I installed FULL 1080P file on my laptop on iTunes... When I download movies on iPhone 5s/iPad mini the file is 720p.... So within about 60 seconds of starting download of 1080p files into my laptop of iTunes purchases. It was at that moment that I realized it was that file my laptop has on file to sync to my Apple device...Ten minutes later when the first 1080P HD file was downloaded I must say... The resolution is amazing... I now use this same process to install movie files from iTunes.. In FULL 1080P.. Not 720P... Works on my iPad mini also... Avatar is 5.4 GB if installed over Wi-Fi... However sync with laptop and file is 6.5 GB in size... Called Apple told them... No reply yet.... You must delete 720P files from your laptop... Look for file size in any movie purchase and you will see DOWNLOAD IN 1080P.. This will open preferences in iTunes for you to the correct tab so you can change setting to 1080p from default of 720p... DELETE any downloaded movies already downloaded into laptop... You can check file quality by right click on any movie folder and the look at movie info... Will say 720p HD... Delete to recycle bin and iCloud will appear on each movie... Now download 1080P HD file... When completed. Right click any file to verify it is 1080P HD... The sync with device...... And get ready to be upset with Apple for holding back your device for the last 2 years 3 months and 16 days......And be ready to catch your jaw from hitting the floor when you see your screen in full 1080P HD.... Apple Engineer's were asleep.....

Currently There is only one option to watch 1080P movies from iTunes on your Apple devices... With a sync with a laptop.. Apple by default sends the 720P file... Users have no option to control video download... Some like me want the full file... Some uses may think the 720P file is fine... However I see the difference... And it is big.. The iPhone has a 1080P camera... So it can play and store a 1080P file... And the screen does display a better image... Just watching a iTunes movie and shooting a video in 1080P on your iPhone and you can see the image is better.. YES it's 1080P... not 720... Apple has know from release of iPhone 5 on September 21,2012 iPhone can play 1080P file... However the system is overloaded as I seen on my Apple T.V. On Christmas say ready to pay is 8 hours 22 minutes... I pay for 50MBps download and 5MBps download.. fastest I can get in my area... It's obvious it will load Apple's network and the don't want to make the changes... Users now wanting 1080p files for iPhones/iPads.... The system load would jump off the scale... I contacted Apple told them the issues, currently they have stopped emailing me replies on the issue after issue was escalated to Apple engineers... Apple knows... Yet...
I want control of what file I download into my device over Wi-Fi... Apple has missed the ball for over two years... Missed it rolling down the hall... Missed it bouncing down the stairs.... Missed it as it rolled across the street and is still going with no fix yet....

How do I upload a new movie onto my iPhone without having to sync it with iTunes?

I am new to iPhone and all this syncing is so frustrating and time wasting!
I am using iTunes on the same computer and every time I want to upload a new movie, video or anything else, iTunes keeps telling me that I am changing libraries and that it will completely wipe out everything from my iPhone. why does this happen? how many libraries are on my iTunes? I am using the same apple id on the same computer and it still wants to delete everything from my iPhone? Is there a different library for EVERYTHING on my phone?

I wanted to add a movie on my iPhone today on the same computer and through the same iTunes that I already synced my iPhone with and when I wanted to upload the movie onto the phone it told me that I am now using a different library and that everything on my phone will be deleted. I also tried to do it manually because I don't want to waste time by backing up the phone, erasing everything from it and then putting it back onto the phone, and iTunes told me the same thing: that I am using a different library etc etc.

Music loaded onto iphone has completely stripped my iPhone and replaced it with my husbands setup

Music was loaded onto iPhone 4 (version 6 software upgrade) from Macbook pro to my iphone, when this happened, it copied everything from my husbands iPhone and completely wiped out all of my emails, iphotos, messages, contacts, apps.... my iphone now looks like a duplicate of my husbands. Can this corrected.

You can manage your email accounts in
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars
However, you should still get all of your emails, contacts and calendars on your @icloud.com email account just as you do on your @me.com account.
But if not, you can add and remove accounts listed above.
