Load 8 New Messages

I'm getting an iPhone message "Load 8 New Messages". The number changes. I tap the message, get a message saying it's downloading, but nothing shows up. This happens on my Yahoo and Bellsouth accounts.

Those should be the messages that you actually deleted, for example if lets say I have 5 messages in my Inbox and under the last one it says load 11 more messages, and I delete 4 of the new messages it will show the message i left and under the message it should say load 15 more messages.
So... that message doesn't mean that there are 15 messages left to load
Each time you delete a message that number will be higher , and the number will get lower probably depending on the settings that you have on how long should it take to remove deleted messages

That's an extreme case of this.
We'll try doing standalone installations of all the supporting programs.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR suitable for your PC (there's a 32-bit Windows version and a 64-bit Windows version):

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install.
Doubleclick the AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi to do a standalone Apple Software Update install.
Doubleclick the Bonjour.msi (or Bonjour64.msi) to do a standalone Bonjour install.
Do those four installs go through okay? If so, does your iTunes launch without any errors now?

When i try to load a new version of itunes i get an error message about a file MSVCR80.dll not being available and error message Windows error 126. Any idea what to do?

Its not telling you to update your iPad, its telling you you need to download a recent version itunes on your computer.

I would first try resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Next would be to restore the iPod from backup

I had a issue when my bonjour was deleted so I tried to delete all apple itms and then reinstall them but a few are left behind and I can not delete them so that when I try to reinstall itunes a error comes up that it can not delete a older version. Help me delete or fix this.

At that point in time is it saying that it can't remove the older version of itunes or the older version of bonjour? (Either could be possible in this context, given your other symptoms, and whichever one is mentioned will make a difference to the treatment method.)

My Skype won't load new messages

Whenever I open Skype, my group conversations take a very long time to load new messages or they do not load new messages at all. This is particularly annoying when I am trying to communicate with people at work or family members. I am using the latest Skype update and would really like a solution to my problem.

It is ridiculous. Takes 10 to 15 tries to get it to load. The chat msgs is a big issue.

I was opening skype and it is on like usual but one time I opened it, and check my notifications and stuff so I go to the chat which has the new messages and I click that and scroll down and read it all but when I go to the other chat the notifications number next to the chat didn't go away and my friend sent me a message about 2 weeks ago and I still haven't got it. Even after i choose to only receive mail manually when i select the mail icon it seems that the phone is still receiving mail even after i selected it not to. I proved it myself when i signed up to receive mail from ebay from my personal pc. it also received on my iphone even though i never opened the mail icon

I've noticed the same thing - even though I've set all my email accounts to 'manual,' when I check the phone after awhile away I find new messages have been dowloaded. Are other people having this problem? Any solutions? It's minor (I don't receive that much email) but annoying.

HT5534 I down loaded the new iwork update. Now when I create a document in pages save it and try to open it later some times the message comes that You need a later version of pages. Some times I don't have that problem.

I hate the new 5.0, and am having the same issue. Because I created or opened and saved several documents in the new 5.0 before I realized how bad it is, I had to figure out how to make them usable again.
I have both versions of Pages (5.0 and 4.3) in my Dock for now. If a document tells me that it can't be opned by 4.3, I opn 5.0, open the document, EXPORT it in 4.3 with the same name, and overwrite the old document. That usually (big dog willing and the creek don't rise!) gives me access to my work.
Once I am sure I have no remaining 5.0 douments around, I'll take 5.0 out of the dock.
It truly is a pain in the ***. Here's the comment I left for Apple –
I am now attempting to uninstall Pages 5.0 so I can go back to using Pages 4.3. The designers of 5.0 took away (or hid) so many of the functions that I've come to know and trust that I am appalled.
It is now a kindergarten version of the workhorse I knew and loved. IT EVEN LOOKS like a dumbed-down app now, with cartoon buttons that reflect its audience – people who don't need a sophisticated, customizable publishing tool, who just need simple icons they can point at LIKE A FAST FOOD CASH REGISTER.
I'll be using either 4.3 or Word for Mac from here on out.

Symbol next to new message, and message won't load...

I keep receiving new messages, and when I try to open them, they just show up blank. To fix this I just reset mail. I get this symbol next to the message when this happens though. I'll attach it.

Yep. I did some more poking around and found that one. Downloaded it and tried to run it and got more errors. Did some more searching and found a fix for the installer on Vista. Ran the fix and tried the ipod software again. It got further, but then hung up again. I'm still trying to figure this all out. Anyone got any answers it'd be much appreciated.
