Load data from XML doc

Question

We receive an xml file that contains the following:
<SAMPLE> SAMPLE_ID="123" PRODUCT_CODE="B222" IMPORT_FLAG="N" COUNTRY_ORIGIN="US" </SAMPLE>
This info should be stored into SAMPLE table which has SAMPLE_ID, and PRODUCT_CODE, IMPORT_FLAG, and COUNTRY_ORIGIN columns.
Is there any Oracle XML tool that can map the info inside the tag to the columns in the SAMPLE table?
Or should we modify the xml file to the following format before we store it into the SAMPLE table?
<SAMPLE>
<SAMPLE_ID>123</SAMPLE_ID>
<PRODUCT_CODE>B222</PRODUCT_CODE>
<IMPORT_FLAG>N</IMPORT_FLAG>
<COUNTRY_ORIGIN>US</COUNTRY_ORIGIN>
</SAMPLE>

You need to create an XSLT Transformation that transforms the sample format in attributes to elements, then use
the XML SQL Utility to insert it.
Or, you can use an XSQL Page to automate these steps. If your transformation
is called "t.xsl" and your source
Xml document is called "src.xml"
then if you build an XSQL Page
named "doit.xsql" like this:
<xsql:insert-request transform="t.xsl" table="yourtable"
xmlns:xsql="urn:oracle-xsql"/>
Then you can use the XSQL Command-line
utility to transform and insert your
"src.xml" data with:
$ xsql doit.xsql posted-xml=src.xml
