Load entire file at once?

I have a PDF that on every page has borders, that causes load times for every pages, and adobe doesn't store the pages that were previously loaded, so even going back to previously loaded pages makes me wait for the page to load. (it gets annoying after a while) Is there an add-on or an option to either load and store all the pages or something to save me time?

well, it finishes loading last... b/c it is the biggest file. On some of my other pages the video is 8meg-12meg big and really slows up the load time.
I have no problem with the length of time that it take the video to load, I just want it to load last so that the rest of the page loads first... As the large quicktime file slows up the loading of the entire page..
What happens is that on autoplay it starts to play before the rest of the page is finished loading and looks crummy with all the lame iweb graphic squares on the page as it plays.
So once again is there a way to get it to load last?

I am not doing it in ITunes, but i did down load the song from ITunes. I loaded the song on to my Nano, but in my menu selections it doesn't show the song or the artist in any search format. However, when i plug in my nano to my PC I see the Nano library on my PC drive listings and that song and artist are there. I can click on the song and it will play in Windows media on my work PC. I did notice that the format for most all the songs in my library on my Nano are MPEG - 4 audio Files.

How do I configure DW to open and load a file?

I have DreamWeaver CS5 running on a Mac. Whenever I double-click to open a DreamWeaver compatible file (such as an HTML file), if DW is not already open, DW launches but does not load the file. Once DW is launced, I can double-click the file and it will load. How do I configure DW to open and load a file together?

HTML files are normally configured to open in a browser. The default on a Mac is to open the file in Safari.
You can right-click the filename in the Mac Finder, and select Open With > Dreamweaver CS5 from the context menu.
Alternatively, select an HTML file in Mac Finder, and press Cmd+I to open the Info panel. In the Open With section, select Dreamweaver CS5 as the default program, and click the Change All button.

Load property file in init(PortletConfig) method of JSR 286 portlet

I store my configuration in .properties file. Now I want to load this file only once, so I decided to load it in init(poerletConfig) method. But now I'm confused to where to put this file, so it can be loaded in this method. I'm using following code:

Friend i think you are trying to reinvent the wheel again...
To my knowledge liferay provides a utility class for FileUpload by default.
Guess U need to add portlet-ear.jar along with the application you programme.
Hope you could have seen admin portlet already where we would upload company logo.. hope you remeber tht....

it would be great if you can make use of StrutsPortlet class provided by liferay and configure your porlet.xml accordingly & then write an PortletAction class & then create its action mapping in struts-config.xml.
and the reason why i'm stressing with that approach was sometimes The FileUpload Components may not be compatible different Portlet Containers

I presume that one answer is to rebuild the document from scratch, changing imported images to referenced images. But I want to recover the file as I put hours of work into it and expected that anything I can save that I also should be able to read back in. I will certainly change to referenced images, but I have to be able to open it first.

Here is a smattering of ideas.
Do you have ample unused HDD space? If not, defrag it, although in myu experience, this hardly makes a difference. Check your TEMP/TMP folders and clean them out. Consider downloading cCleaner and running it. Do everything you can to make ample room on your HDD and in places like your TEMP folders. If your HDD is congested, temporarily remove big but relatively unimportant applications and move data elsewhere for a while.
Even with 4GB of RAM, Frame can only use somewhere between 2.7 - 3.2 GB of it under the very best of conditions, and that includes the application as well as the files. Unpacking image files can consume considerably more space than it takes to store them. For example, a 1024 x 768 color image requires more than 3.1MB to describe it as a 32-bit color image, yet when stored in JPEG format, it can be as small as 50kB, a compression of 65:1. Of course, it's not reasonable to assume that your document is comprised entirely of such highly-compressed images, but in the unachievable extreme, it would take 980MB to simultaneously open 15MB worth of those kind of files. The point here is to not fall into the trap of thinking a 15MB file comprising a lot of images needs little more than 15MB of RAM.
Make sure ALL other applications are closed when trying to open your file...Outlook, IE or FireFox, Anti-Virus and Spyware apps, Word, etc.
Consider sending a copy of the file to someone else to see if they can open it for you and delete some of the images before resaving it. If you have a backup copy, rename your current file and restore the backup. Maybe your working copy is corrupt. Who knows? Anything is probably worth trying as long as you have a save copy stored somewhere.

Photoshop crashes when loading a file or image

Using Photoshop cs3 on a PC with Windows 7 installed.
Major Problem: Photoshop gives no response when opening an image of any sort or psd file which ends out with the options to either close the program or close and find a solution online which gives no solution whatsoever.
PScs3 was working just fine when installed but after installing an NVIDIA plug-in did it start bearing some problems. When loading png files, a window normally appears telling me that Photoshop could not parse the file. After seeing this I went to uninstall the plug-in. The problem seemed to went away but shortly after was Photoshop crashing at random, and I do mean random. Starting Photoshop at first seems to nullify the chances of crashing but after either a short period of time or a long period of time will it crash when trying to open a file. Opening multiple files at once doesn't work either but when opening only one file into PScs3 will it cooperate until opening a second. I'm not sure if the plug-in is what caused the problem but I do know everything from there seems hectic. Every crash leads me opening PScs3 again with all of its settings reset from when I first exited normally.

Unfortunetly yes I have attempted this and the problem still occurs towards cs3. This makes me fear that the entire program is glitched.
Do you have any other plug-ins installed?
I've checked and there are no other plug-ins attatched.
This is my last option before seeing to reformat my computer. If there is any input about the topic, now is the time.

Just a hunch: change your default printer to something else (a locally attached printer, not networked) or "PrintToPDF", then relaunch Photoshop and try again.
It could also be a plugin (try disabling ALL third party plugins).
And it could be a bad OS install, a virus, etc. It may take a while to find.

Issues loading .txt files from server...

Hi.
I have an issue with a script I created that loads text strings from a file on my server.
The swf file loads a message from a .txt file, displays it in an animation when the animation finishes it loops back to the start and loads the next message and displays it in the animation.
All works fine. However the script reads the text file from the server on every loop ( 3 seconds ) This will be hard on my server so... Is there a way to read the text file once only and then loop through the eight statements?

Unless I'm missing something, each time you load the file you are loading the entire file. So you should have all of what's in it stored. Your load function appears to just be picking out one of them out randomly after they're all loaded.
I assumed wrongly that this isn't all the code you have and other loading code is what you are trying to inhibit.
What you probably want to do is take most of your onLoad code and place it into a function. What you have that is pulling up the quotes should utilize that function. You shouldn't be using that loading code each time some button or whatever loop cycles.

ZipException until the entire file is uploaded...

Hello. There is this weird behavior by WLCS 3.5 on Windows 2000. When you
install a new EJB or a new application using the Console, you'll get a bunch
of ZipException stack traces until the entire file is uploaded. It does not
seem to be harmful but it would definitely alarm whoever is installing our
stuff (unless of course we warn them about it). I've noticed that it
happens only on Windows 2000. On Solaris, it doesn't (I think). I think
the problem is, it keeps trying to unzip the file until it succeeds. Of
course, it will only succeed once the whole file has been copied into the
applications directory.
Anybody experiencing the same thing? It's not a big deal but it would be
nice to know if there is a workaround or something.

I see the same happening and the full video (?) gets loaded.<br />
If I disable WebM (media.webm.enabled -> false) then I get the Gecko media player plugin that displays the video after a short buffering.

Down loading picture file.

On Photoshop Element 11, how do I download the entire picture file? I am able to down load ONLY one picture at a time, but not all pictures at the same file at once for editing. Can some one help? so I can proceed to buy the software? Thanks

Click on File>Open.
Go to the locations where your pictures are located, Select the images by pressing Ctrl(on windows)/Command(on mac) and click open.
Or you can click on first image then press Shift then click on the last image to select the entire bunch.
All the images will be present at the project bin (located in the bottom panel)

I used a third party programme called Mackeeper UGHHH,it moved loads of files to the trash now i do not know where they originally came from or belong!! the put back option is in grey??how can i manually put these files back where they belong?SO upset!!

hello there thank u so much for ur reply!! ok i uninstalled mackeeper now and the put back option is still in grey im so confused...i tried restarting my computer like u said and put back still in grey??!! the files that are in my trash are everything from Accounts,address book plug-ins,address book,adobe,aim.........then stuff like apple,Audio,....to caches color pickers,colors,com.apple.TCC,to DVD player to facebook,google to ilifemedia browser to itunes to keychains to movie effects,preferences printers to skype...my Native instruments files BUT not all of them my garage band but not all of it...it seriously looks like my whole library is in the trash i tried to put things back where i THINK they belong and it just added the item or folder under where i thought it went and didnt restore functionality to for instance google chrome and all my book marks are there....they seem to be only certain things from my library that would have added some functionality to apps and programmes like my garageband is missing stuff photobooth wont work so on.......kinda looks a bit like this thats only the half of it!! How to use BAPIs for Infopackage execution : loading multiple files

I have been told that BAPIs can be used to load multiple csv files at once for which some BAPIs exists (BAPI_IPAK_CREATE_FROM_REF , BAPI_IPAK_CREATE , etc)
I have users who will be dropping their standard files in a directory (this should be a local one or server one ?) according to one of 3 types of formats defined.
As they wont be trigering the IP but instead plan to use a Process chain need a way to collect all files and trigger a IP that can process them all
Can somebody lead me into using the appropriate ones in the right way?

First if you are using process chain then the files should be placed in Application Server only and process chain can not work with IPs which are using Local Files.
Instead of BAPI in the infopackage there is a feature to select the file using routines. May be you can pick the necessary file in the routine itself.
In the extraction tab you can find this option.

Hi,
For date column you should maintain YYYYMMDD formate Eg: 20090601, kepp cursor on date column and right click and Formate >Custome>make it 00000000 then save teh file as .CSV . First type values on column and do like this formate and save it and without opening it load it. Once you open it you losw 00000000 formate you need to give again the same formate.
Settings in Infopackage:
Data Format = CSV
Data Separator = ,
Escape Sign = ;

On the MBP, in iTunes, switch to Song view and enable the iCloud Status column by pulling down View > View options and selecting the option for "iCloud Status." Close the small window. Look for any tracks that have a status of "waiting." If you see several of them disable iTunes Match while holding down the Option key. Quit iTunes, wait a few seconds, then open it again and turn iTM back on. Let it compelete the scan. Wait until all tracks that are "waiting" have a status of either "matched" or "uploaded."
On the iPad, turn off iTunes Match then launch the Music app and let the contents clear out. Power cycle the iPad for good measure, then re-enable the service once all the tracks in iTunes have been processed.

How to load configuration files with to TestStand

I need an expert advise on setting up Teststand environment. I am developing a generic tester that will eventually support multiple product lines. The PXI equipment is common but the Pin assignment will change from product to another. So, I was thinking to have a configuration file (xml, excel, .csv...etc) that defines each product line. The configuration file will contain all the pin routing, like which pin is connected to which NI Card channel and fault insertion unit. My thought was to load this configuration file to the Teststand environment before starting a series of tests. I had in mind using XML files and use a labview parser to extract the data and write it to Teststand variables. My question is:
Is this the best practice for this approach ? Is there a better method ? Can I load data into Teststand first and hold the data in Teststand while testing a bunch of UUTs. I do not want load this file at the beginning of every Test, just once when opening Teststand.
I appreciate any advise on this.

I'm using .ini file with configuration information and a startup sequence what read this file, configure the system and then run selected tests. Selected tests list is in the .ini file as well. Configuration info is passed to subsequences as a parameter or "propagate local".
I disagree with the idea of creating a separate sequence for each product, this solution is not scalable.
