1. Object locks - If object is already locked by other activity
2. RFC related problems.
3. Non Availabilty of source system
4. SID not found
5. Invalid chanracters in filed values
6. Error creation /deletion problems.
7. Request deletion problems
8. No filled aggregates available for rollup on a cube
9. Attribute change run failure due to locks
10.Upload failures with idoc related issues
11. Duplicate data records
12. Short Dumps
13. Caller 70 missing
14. Transfer structure inactive
15. Objects inactive etc

Load monitoring issue

Hi,
in load monitoring process chain having issue with 1 master data load, this issue containg "Error message when processing in the Business Warehouse" and in monitor 2 duplicate records are there, how can i solve the issue and continue the process chain, could you plz anyone sugess me in resolving the issue.

hii bhuvana,
there is one option which u can try but am not sure if it is correct or not. go to DTP from there go to update tab and there u can see a option called "Handle duplicare record key" check that option. It should work. In the past when we had the similar error of duplicate records. we did it in the same way.

DVD - failed to load monitor driver

Built 4 MSI systems using KN9neo motherboards and barton and pheno 1 processors - zero problems
Just built another system with phenom 2 processor and MSI NF750-G55 (MS-7578) motherboard
running XP fully patched
Everything works except the auto run on the lite-on cd/dvd writer
When i first booted xp with no graphics driver, the MSI drivers disk auto ran fine and I installed all the drivers
Now I can see the files on the utility disk but it wont auto run (or run the setup.exe file)
error is - 'failed to load monitor driver'
When I put the drivers disk in my phenom 1 machine it auto runs fine
I see the device manager shows 2 vga entries for dual screen use no doubt
Any ideas please - you might say why are you worried as all the drivers are on your machine - but i wonder if other dvd's might not auto run.
cd's auto run fine in the drive - its just the drivers DVD disk that will not auto run ...
I tried swapping the optical drive with my other machine which will auto run the disk, but it had the same problem - so the optical drive is ok but there is some incompatibility ?
Should on chip vga be enabled in BIOS - tried it on and off - no diff

These two monitors showing are something I have never come across - they both say 'default monitor'
Yes i think i will acronis what i have and take the drivers out and reinstall
Two default monitors are weird or is it me that out of date as to how phenom 2's and fancy motherboards work... i will try it and report back !

InfoPackage Load Monitoring failures to email

I need information on how to setup load monitoring to email. I already do this within process chains but need to do it when I am running an initial load without a process chain. Is there settings within the system that can be setup to send an email out to the alert me to these failures so that I am not stuck to watching them in the monitor in BW.

Does SAP have a standard event in this list that will send an email if it passes or fails. Or do I have to have someone create an abap program for that?

Load monitoring (bw) issue

Hi friends,
               iam in support project load monitoring(pc), i have 1 delta load(transaction data) in support system,this load fail due to special char, i copied that special char and executed in RSKC transaction after this, i delete the (red) request without changing the QM status and   i selected Repeat Delta in Rsa7 and sheduled the info package, after clicking START button, it is showing msg like
(Last delta update is not yet completed therefore, no new delta update is possible, you can start the request again , if the last delta req is Red or Green in the Monitor.).
And i tried to reconstruct the cube by selecting the Req and clicked on Reconstruct/insert, it is showing
Req not marked as correct,this Req can not be used for Reconstruction.
load is going from data source to psa and target, but in psa there is no req found.
can anyone plz help me what can i do now.

                                                i already delete the request without changing QM status in target, may i know where can i get tha Req again? and i tried to change the QM status by using Reconstruction Req (Tab)
by clicking here the monitor option, ofcorse its gone to monitor screen, that status tab is showing already Red because of issue. and i doubleclicked this red status but it is comming like this

The data from the 'red' delta load is then no longer available
(even with a repeat). This can lead to loss of data.

Common issues in data load monitoring...

Hi all,
Can u please tell me what are the common issues that occur during data load monitoring and how to rectify them??

This is a bit dependent on your system and landscape. but to mention some of issues:
- Deadlock in cube because the inxedes were not dropped before loading data into cube
- Unallowed signs in master data prevent system from creating SID
- Duplicate values in master data load (can be avoided by setting a flag in DTP)
- Loading delta package without having intitialized before
- Source package delivers key figure without units (this happens when laoding into a cube or an DSO with SID generation)
- Missing replication of data source after transporting data source in source system

Assistance Needed on Data Load Monitoring

presently i'm working in a support proj which is data load monitoring ( mainly process chains) , As a result of which i will the responsible person to fix some of the loads when it fails eg : Duplicate records, errorneous records, attrbutute chain run etc .
As a fresher in BW i need to learn some of the things like Types of updates, process types & process chains proficiently thick & fast , i request you to please send in some PDF's or ppt regarding the same , if any books are there then please suggest one.

Data Load Monitoring.

Dear Experts,
I would like to know on what circumstances we should use following Data load monitoring tools:
1.     RSMO
2.     SSA/BWT
3.     ST13
4.     RZ20
It would be more helpfull if you can describe pros and cons of each tool.

RSMO is used to monitor the dataloads coming into the BI system. Here you can find the details for each and Every load happened.
SSA/BWT is a Program which provide you the details about Process Chain Analysis, Detailed Request Analysis ,Aggregate Toolset etc.

Safari doesn't load monitor profiles

I'm using my mac book pro's internal display with an external display connected through mini display port. I calibrated both of them, but safari 4.0 doesn't load the profiles while firefox does. I looked through safari preferences but I found nothing about color management or monitor profiles.
Any comments would be apprecieated.

Just tested on mine and it's working.

IPS Load monitoring using SNMP

Since CPU is always 100% now in v6.x/v7.x - is anyway to monitor the system load (reported in IDM/IME) using SNMP?
What counter can be a good indicator for system upgrade that can be monitored using SNMP?

Currently you can not query IPS senor load via SNMP, there is a feature request out for it.
If you want to monitor load right now you can write a script that logs into the sensor and preforms a "show statistics virtual-sensor | i Load"
This is a snapshot, and I believe the GUI provides an average.

Automated load monitoring of WLE servers

This is about WLE 5.x.
The psr command (at the tmadmin prompt) comes in handy for monitoring loads on
servers in a WLE domain. However its drawback is it's interactive. This command
can't be wrapped in a script (to my knowledge) and scheduled to run periodically
to compute load stats. Does anybody know how to do this?
Per the WLE documentation, pretty much everything that can be done from command
line can also be done using a Tuxedo API from a program. Has anybody tried writing
such programs (e.g. a better admin gui) to gather the load stats of servers in
a domain? The documentation says precious little on this topic.

I think I have a solution for you, for UNIXs, anyway. In a Korn shell window, or
possibly a cron job, if you do the following:
prompt> echo psr | tmadmin >> psr.out
the "tmadmin" command will run with the "psr" command and then exit, leaving the
output in a file called "psr.out". Although I haven't scripted this, I have used it
and the "printqueue" command to monitor a running WLE system. A co-worker wrote a C++
program to sum the coloums of the output files, giving reasonable statistics over
time. If you script this in Perl or Ksh, please post for us!

BW Data Load Monitoring

Hi,
Could anybody say me how to monitoring a load from R3(4.6C) to BW(3.5)?
I need to know the size in MB transfered in a load. In transaction RSMON i can see the records transfered but i don´t know how to calculate the mb. I need to know the size of the records to calculate this. Or there is a transaction where can i find the information?

Hi,
The perfect way to calculate the size of your daily data load in MB is to.
Goto Transaction DB02
Press the Space Statistics which you can find at the end of the screen..
A small pop window will open - in that select table statistics
Now a new screen will open, give the name of your table(PSA, DSO, Cube ) and make sure you give the technical name that starts with /BIC/ and you can see
the size and other details for a day, week and month.

How to load monitor profiles under Bootcamp running Windows XP?

I have a macbook pro SR (Geforce 8600M GT 256MB) with bootcamp and I can't start the color control panel applet on windowsXP. I have an external monitor and I downloaded an icc profile made by an user with the same monitor and panel. It works perfect under MacOS, but in WindowsXP I can't do anything.
Anybody knows if exists any other software to load a color profile when Windows starts up?

System load monitoring

Hi, please advise.
I have two business processes, one old process and another new - optimized process. Question is how to measure the system load (total) for realization of the first - old process and new process to measure difference of how the processes load the system.
I need to measure the system load only for realization of the processes (each process consists of several transactions).
I want to measure the load for realisation of the first process and know how it loads the system and then make the same measurement for the second process - so two separate measures are needed.
I work in SAP R/3 Enterprise.

Hi,
i have tried tx SAT - but it is not available for me, so i make measurements thorugh se30. There is no problem with transactions like FB60, FF67 etc. but when I try to measure the F110 transaction system shows an error during the measurement. Message number: S7068, diagnosis: see note 170470.
Do you know what problem could it be.
I´m a newbee in this.
